Helpful struggleToday i ve been using this app for 4 days. Very new to yoga. I am trying to find relief for my backpain ( pelvic tilt, sciatic nerve irritation, nervous blood flow issue etc etc etc). Since i am unable to workout due to back ache i wanted to seek a resolution to the back ache to be able to do daily activities without being in pain and i was able to find it with this app. I do feel alot better during the day and specially in the morning when i wake up and there is mild to low back pain and its slowly fading. This app is really helping me. Struggle: I am a beginner and sometimes i need to see the pose and understand and be able to settle into it which takes time. The program is set such that we know how to do it and will get it right the first time. I am unable to pace up with the instructor and i feel like alot if times i miss the actual point of doing that pose because i didnt have enough time to watch my posture or correct it. It us a bigg time struggle to keep up with the videos for a beginner. I will appreciate if there is something that can be done to fix that. Besides that, very helpful and convenient ! Best Yoga App so far!Yoga Wave has helped me bring consistency in my yoga practices. Being a busy mom and business owner, I could never find the time to attend yoga classes. So grateful to be able to strengthen my body and mind with the different courses, which are put together very well. In the beginning quite challenging, but by practicing the same difficult poses in every session, I surprise myself with the progress I make. AmazingI found a love for yoga last year. I have recently learned I have multiple back problems so a stereotypical workout is too challenging for me to do. Yoga is perfect. Absolutely Love This AppYou get to pick between three instructors that will guide you through your classes. The classes are not like your typical yoga classes. The weight loss classes are moderately paced that a beginner can keep up without getting too frustrated. The variation in poses excited me due to my previous experiences with other DVDs/apps. Work up a good sweat and at the end feel totally relaxed. First time, I was able to truly relax my mind enough to focus on my poses long enough to hold the poses for the duration. Amazing so far!I like how you can personalize the background sound. I am only 2 days in so far but I love it! I’m going to continue using this app to its fullest extent. You get to pick a trainer. I chose mine based off what their bio said and felt my choice matched what I want to strive for closely. There are options depending on your experience and ability. I’m at baby steps here! There are also different types of classes such as posture or balance, core or weight loss. Currently doing posture. The poses are mixed too so even though I’m a novice there are some intermediate positions involved. Be prepared to hit that pause as with any app like this if you are struggling with a position or what to stay around a certain pose a bit longer. Current status- Novice. Terrible at meditation but determined to get there. Flexibility is about average standard for non practicing individual. Balance is wobbly. Let’s see where I can get to in a month. Good quality and quantity of timeI came back to this app because it’s a very simple and effective app for practicing my yoga. I really enjoy that it’s not convoluted and I also enjoy that I can adjust the yoga sequence to fit my day. But being consistent with the app allows me to see what poses are new and old to me. I do wish that it went a bit slower, by the time I’m in the pose it feels they’ve often already moved to the next one. That’s the only reason it isn’t a 5 star rating. Fantastic!I started a free trial because I’m usually skeptical with workout apps. I’m very inconsistent and truth be told don’t enjoy working out. I’ve done this the past three mornings in a row and LOVE it! Peaceful, relaxing appI love the app- you can modify the intensity of the yoga exercise, choose plan, trainer and even change trainers if you would like. HOWEVER 1. You can not cast it to your laptop or tv through phone 2. The price is $4.99 per week, which translates to $20 per month. Yoga waveI am a complete beginner when it comes to yoga. This app is a great way to gradually build yourself into it. Starts off with the basics and gets more difficult/ complex from there. For a beginner it was challenging but not too much for me. I also liked the videos that accompany the classes and that they also have music and sounds to along in the background if you want. Would definitely recommend but possibly not worth £4.99 a week, maybe £10 a month would be better. Either way, great app.Version: 11.8.1

The only thing I would suggest is to address the occasional glitch that occurs, freezing the screen while the teacher continues on. Fast pacedGood although, the pace of the poses can go a bit too fast so can be difficult for beginners to keep up when transitioning from one pose to another, especially as the app it used on phones so having to look up to the phone to see the position can be difficult to keep up with. Yogi at homeIt is a great app especially at this time of covid 19. You can practice at home. It also makes a daily practice easier for me. You don’t have to spend the time going to a studio and it’s easy to fit in a half an hour. Middle ageI am two weeks into this routine. In the past decade I’ve had injuries ranging from rattlesnake bite, broken bones, dislocated ankle, torn hamstring, etc. Needless to say my mobility has been limited and my balance and flexibility was awful. In just two weeks I have regained noticeable strength, balance and flexibility. I am excited to start my yoga session instead of dreading it. The Best Yoga App AroundI’ve been doing courses with this app for over three months now and I’m really pleased with the app. Firstly, the poses are modelled by a real person, not just some animated picture. It also tells you what poses are you going to do in the class with video instruction on how to do the poses. There are three levels to choose from which is amazing for beginners. If you think a class is too exhausting or you unsure off, there’s short questions at the end of each class to ask you how you feel. There are options on classes length. Also there’s several courses to choose from depends on what you want to focus on. It’s worth the money and at the comfort of your own home. There are few things I’d like to suggest: 1) It would be great if you could give option for 45 mins class 2) It would be great if you could give transition time from laying down breathing exercise to sitting down position (It happens quite few times in Relaxation Course). I was laying down following the breathing instruction and the next second I was told to bend forward on Caterpillar pose, which made me rushing to roll up and made me dizzy. 3) I can’t remember which class (on Weight Loss Course) that the poses video aren’t the same with the voice instruction 4) It would also be an idea to give option of poses for beginners on some intermediate or advance pose Apart from these, I’m one happy customer..Version: 11.2.0

Favourite way to do yogaI've never been to a yoga class, and I've tried following yoga poses and tutorials on my own, but being able to follow these courses and listen to the instructions really helps me stretch and meditate without getting lost in my own thoughts. Sounds roboticHi there! Tried my first class today and I’m a beginner. I’ve been to many classes before, but still consider myself new to the practice because I haven’t been to a class that explains the small things when you form a certain position (like making sure to flex your feet to prevent knee damage). In any case, this class felt a bit robotic and rushed. I couldn’t center myself and find mental peace with any of the positions because it was literally all just back to back. Also, it ended to suddenly I didn’t even realize it. I love the personalized chat feature, but if you’re going to set the bar for that kind of environment, i would recommend that the classes are less robotic. Give the class some closure for sure. Nice app!I’m just two days in, but I’m liking it a lot so far. If I could change a couple things, they would be how quickly you’re meant to change from one pose to another. Not only is it not relaxing, it’s nearly impossible to follow along. I’d also like to see a shavasana at the end of each class, if only for a couple minutes or even breath cycles. Breath in..... and ouuuuutI’ve been doing yoga off and on for a while and this is a nice app. I’m doing the novice level stress reduction classes. They aren’t the typical novice poses which is good. It’s challenging enough without being discouraging. The only thing I wish they would add is that it syncs up with the iPhone health app so I don’t have to manually chart it. Really enjoyedI have found this app really great. The choice of courses and time lengths is great and allows me to alternate to suit the time window I have. The improvements are now noticeable and my well being improved immensely. The only downside is giving alternative options to some moves I feel should be given in summary of the different practices and not during the session when you have tried to get in position to the be told an easier option. Just what I was looking for!I’m a complete beginner. So I wanted something that I could tailor to my abilities - so something easy with a bit of challenge. I want to learn yoga. I downloaded several apps to see which one suited me best, including some of the better known apps - and decided that this one was the most personal and well laid out. Everything is clear and easy to navigate. No adds. And the yoga sessions are perfectly balanced. I’m on day two and feel like I’m having proper yoga sessions and not skipping things because they’re too hard or they’re simply moves that my body cannot do. My body is learning. Another thing I like is there’s a section where all the moves are listed so if I ever can’t do a move - I can find the move and practice! Brilliant! It’s a bit more expensive than I was wanting or planning but I think it’s worth it..Version: 11.0.12

Listens to your needsI am a senior and want to improve my flexibility and balance. The app allows you to choose your level. I started as a beginner and I could hardly do any of the poses. After completing the class, the app checks in with you and I said it was too hard. The next class was still challenging, but I could do the poses. Real YogaI tried a few popular yoga apps, but most of them either separate meditation aspects of true yoga and only apply them at the end off class, or don’t include them at all. Most of the yoga apps out there are either boring, animated or feel a lot more like Pilates. The voice over is perfect and relaxing, meditation included throughout the class and each class unique and interesting. It even checks in with you after each class to see if you need adjustments in difficulty. EnjoyableI’ve been doing this app for over a week now. I’m enjoying it and the poses and classes that they offer. However it’s very fast paced (for the strength course at least) and the voice overs sometimes don’t keep up with the demonstrations. I do really wish it was less expensive, but comparing to all the yoga classes in person in my area, it’s very affordable. FreedomI love the freedom to do a guided yoga session at home when I can fit it in to life each day. The only constructive feedback is that for the novice/ beginner setting it is too fast- more time needs to be aloud for positions and if you were truly doing it for the first time the depth of the poses shown is quiet advanced so would make the beginner feel disheartened at not being able to do the entire stretch/ pose. Good to keep a routine goingSo far so good. Helpful for keeping a practice routine going. Seems like you can scale it’s suggestions according to your level of practice. Great alternative to studio timeThis app is a great alternative to spending hours in the studio. It’s like a studio right at home. I would consider myself to be at the intermediate level so I love how there are options to keep me challenged and there is lots of variety. I also like how you can choose between a quite practice as well as some relaxing nature sounds in the background. The app does have some bugs though that it should fix as today, at one point in my practice, she was describing me to do one thing and the video of her demonstrating the pose did not match up. Not what I expected, but I’m loving itFor some reason I thought beginners would be slow and movements explained. They aren’t. This was a shock at first, but the more classes I do, the less I rely on the video and just listen to what to do next. I’ve always wanted to do yoga classes but due to my familial responsibilities, it isn’t an option. The sessions on this app have become the highlight of my day, something that is just for me. Loving itI’m am loving this app! while NZ was in lockdown I couldn’t get to my normal Pilates classes. This has become my morning and evening ritual ever since. Noticeable strongerI’ve completed eight classes from the “Stronger Than Ever” challenge over the past three weeks and notice a great increase in strength in my core and arms. I’m actually able to do arm balances that I’ve never managed to master. The one downfall is that the flows are quick, my partner who is a beginner was not able to keep up. I do however wish that they went through each move slowly and let you hold the pose instead of just flying through each one.
