✓ Fun game, but far from perfectIt’s good to play to pass the time, but the long wait for the stamina to refill is kind of ridiculous (especially since there’s no way to obtain memories without paying for them). The pause button doesn’t seem to work entirely because when I press play, the recall bar is back to or around zero and the music isn’t synced with the actual gameplay. Would help if there was more of a tutorial on what to do in terms of world play and freeplay, because it took a while to work out what to actually do in the game outside of just playing..Version: 1.6.0

✓ OverratedOverall I honestly thing they made the game way to difficult to understand. The sky notes are was to hard to predict. Afterwards it for some reason changes it’s speed going from fast to slow, which doesn’t help at all since now that I’m used to it being that specific speed that it had been originally, my fingers suddenly confuse the speed and presses it either too fast or slow. I’m very serious about this. I’ve play many games similar to this like Bandori, Project sekai, all those sorts. I may be a little bias since I’m probably just used to that kind of gameplay but this gets pretty annoying either way. Anyways I recommend you play Bandori as a good start. It has a more understandable and new player friendly gameplay and tutorial..Version: 3.12.8
✓ This is the single most terrible game i have ever playedI am giving 2 stars because it’s mapping and playing isn’t that bad, barely anything is original, the songs are okay i guess but my main problem is the money, This is the greediest game i have ever played. You have to pay just to unlock the story. No it is not necessary for a game to be free but paying 5 dollars just to get a song is too much. ✓ Used to have fun, took my moneyI used to like this game even though you literally have to buy every pack for songs. Regardless, I liked the game. After taking a few months off of the game, I returned and most of my progress is gone. All songs requiring fragments are forcing me to buy them again, even though I’ve already bought them. This is especially annoying because the only song I consistently play is Seclusion and it’s locked by fragments :( Very disappointed..Version: 4.4.3
✓ Bad on insideWhen you see the menu and song selection it looks all fancy but when you start playing you will see the lack of effort. Many of the tracks are offbeat and some maps have near impossible patterns to hit. For example random notes in the middle of tracks with no beat to them at all. %99 of the songs in the game, you have to pay for, even the free maps take hours of grinding to even play, not even mentioning there are only 3 different difficulties for each track. Overall it looks all seamless but has many downsides that are just to big to ignore..Version: 3.6.3
✓ Massive Pay WallThis is one of the best rhythm games I have played on mobile. I even chose to make an account because I wanted to use more of the game’s features. However, soon after I realized I would have to pay real money in order to unlock more song packs (you are given one to start with). There is no way to earn the micro currency, memories, needed to unlock song packs in game either, so buying is truly the only option. This is very disappointing. I will be removing this game immediately from my iPad. If you’re going to make a free to play game, the micro transactions should be optional, not required to unlock more content. Let the 3% of people you target to pay large amounts of money buy those and let the rest of us enjoy the game as we want to. Don’t lock content behind a pay wall with no in game way around it..Version: 1.5.4

✓ Fun rhythm game ruined by microtransactionsEnjoyable and satisfying gameplay. Plays somewhat similar to Sound Voltex. Artwork and character designs are very cute as well. I don't agree with how most of the game is locked behind a series of paywalls; this includes many songs, characters, and story sections. While there are a good amount of free songs available, the experience is hampered by the fact that you need to spend more than $100 to fully experience what the game has to offer. World Mode is also a monotonous grindest that is only enjoyable when played through casually..Version: 3.0.1
✓ I feel like I’ve been scammedI love this game, I really do. But locking Tempest Tairitsu and all of Final Verdict except for 1 song behind a skill wall has ruined the game for me. I have been trying over and over for MONTHS, and yet the game STILL won’t let me have what I paid for. That’s just rude. It’s making me not want to play Arcaea at all. Lowiro, if you see this review, PLEASE make it so when you get Track Lost on the Past to Present anomaly enough times to get 100%, you can unlock the world map to get Tempest Tairitsu. It’s not fair to only have the percent thing on the Beyond anomaly. Please CC add the percent thing to ALL difficulties, so anyone can get what they paid their hard earned money for. ✓ Pay for story!?Now, this game is really intresting and has a lot of potential, but the fact that you have to pay real money for memories just to unlock songs to play to unlock one chapter out of the whole main story is disgusting. I understand making players pay for fragments, or memories....but memories should be obtainable without having to pay for it. Maybe it can be hard to obtain and rare, but having to pay just to get in the story is ridiculous!! And the tutorial doesn’t even tell you this! The tutorial barley tells you anything in the first plays! The developers are just getting greedy with money. ✓ Its really good but i cant afford itI think this game has some really nice songs that i like listening to and is really freakin fun to play but to bad i cant play them because they cost money. There are at least 10 girls that cost 500 memories which is about $5 each and i dont want to and cant pay for each of the girls and their songs thats almost $50. I also dont think you should have a story mode that we have to pay for. If you are making a free to play game, make the story free and if people really like the story make side stories that cost money and give better boosts than the normal story mode. ✓ HelpThis game is fun but my sister made an account for my other sister and has spent quite a bit of money in it, but neither of them can remember the email or the password for the account and there is absolutely no help for when this or something like this happens. ✓ It’s a great gameSure this is a amazing game with stunning visuals but this is just a pay2win game without the winning. ✓ Had so much potentialThis game is really fun I’ll admit that. But, when I tried to go to Story Mode it said I needed the Eternal Core Pack to play. This is when I realized NONE of the songs and packs were free except for one. They cost memories which you had to PAY FOR WITH REAL MONEY. Only the songs in the Arcaea Pack were FREE. I would’ve given this a 4 or 5 star review if it didn’t cost MONEY JUST TO PLAY. I understand letting people buy Memories for people who don’t have time, but having paying real money being the ONLY way to get memories is too much. ✓ Love this game + A Request, IPHONE XR BUG!!!This game is absolutely amazing. Can’t stop playing if I had to be honest. Although you do have to pay for songs, you can unlock quite a few of them for free through the world mode. I was wondering if you guys could make a song pack that had the song 2 Min Fighters (the SDVX version) in it. When playing this game, I think of songs that would be good if they were mapped and released in the game. This song is one of them. PLS 😓 Edit - there is a bug with the IPhone XR that makes certain taps not register what so ever. You can experience this on the IPhone XR if you play a map with a holding sky note and tap note underneath the sky note, the tap note won’t register at all. I’ve tried adjusting my offset, looking at my fingers while pressing, playing with a different play style other than thumbs and the results are still the same. Sometimes you can even see that it’s not registering the press by doing the same presses when there are no notes as when you press the screen, the spot you press highlights but if it doesn’t highlight its not registering which with this certain press it doesn’t highlight. This is disappointing because the game is almost unplayable if I want to play for combo or fcs. 😓.Version: 2.0.2
