I was stumped on a couple of the same things mentioned, but I stuck with it and realized I was missing something. This is an amazing series, and this episode is one of my favorites. So ignore the reviews claiming they can’t finish because of what they believe are glitches and keep trying to figure out what you might be missing if you get stuck.Version: 1.35

They appeal to my aesthetic tastes and love of noir, and feel subtly referential — ‘Twin Peaks: The Return’ (Lynch, 2017j; Judex (Franju, 1963); Holy Motors (Carax, 2012), Gaiman etc In terms of gameplay they are challenging enough in that they train you think laterally about solutions. More challenging than Play Dead’s ‘LIMBO’ or ‘INSIDE’ for example, and feels closer to ‘I Love You To Bits’, but around there and certainly as enjoyable. Recommended..Version: 1.34

✓ Insanely goodIncredibly well made. Although it’s not my most favorite cube escape, this was still really up there on the list because of how well the game was made. I absolutely adored the additions of how you could interact with things. The graph bit where you had to find a point and travel there by changing the direction and moving forward was also a nice touch, along with the book and how you had to look at one thing and figure it out gradually. Brilliant sound design, music and artwork really elevate this above other run of the mill puzzle games. I love the fact that it's part of a mysterious story full of freaky characters and I think, like its predecessors, it is a great introduction to the longer games also set on the foreboding Rusty Lake. ✓ Several gotchas but goodThere were a few clues I had to look up and when I saw what they were I was not pleased. Tapping to open the main door was way too obscure to expect the user to randomly try at a random point in the game. Dragging the painted elixir onto the painted men… come on. I had already tapped on it like twelve times. All in all, despite the three or four sadistically obscure clues, it’s a great little game. Well done..Version: 3.0

✓ Definitely the hardestSo I’ve played a lot of rusty lake/ cube escape and this one is definitely the most difficult of them all! I feel like a few things are not really intuitive… I definitely had to google 3 things in this whole game cuz I was stuck and the “hints” did not help at all. It’s been kind of fun playing them out of order too because you really take every piece of the story as another piece to the puzzle in solving the overarching game: What is Rusty Lake?
