I downloaded and opened the app to prompt the chatbot 'Lanny' to ask my name and what I'd like to learn, I chose the 'greetings' option and got told to sign in or sign up. I tried signing in with my Google account, it gave me an error message. Tried signing in with my same email through "Sign up with email" and it said that my email was already in use, though it would NOT let me sign in. I tried my other email and it did the same. ✓ Many Errors in Basic Typing ExercisesI have been studying Japanese for about three years and got into Eggbun because I heard it helps with typing specifically. After a few days of use, I have come to this conclusion: I think the concept of this software is great, but there have been many errors in the basic hiragana and katakana typing questions. For example, one question asked me to type じゃ in katakana. I did, but the software counted it wrong. After trying a few different possible responses and checking the instructions, the answer was supposed to be written in hiragana. This instance is not the only issue I have experienced. Japanese is already a difficult language to learn. When a beginner is trying to type a basic answer and it is counted wrong, this causes major issues in the long term. Coupled with several other errors I have experienced, this app is nearly useless. I will be cancelling my subscription because of this and wanted to send a reason..BillyVanDelinderVersion: 2.7.5

✓ Cute UI and concept but a little... weirdIt’s got super cute UI, pretty cute dialogue, and I’m sure it will keep some people motivated, but some of their choices of what to teach are very odd. I downloaded this already knowing 30ish kanji, 230 words, and the kana, so headed straight for the kanji courses. I don’t know what the kana courses are like but for the kanji one they’re kinda slow and the kanji they teach is somewhat random. The beginner’s course teaches 10 kanji, the numbers, (plus four phrase things used for examples that I doubt one would remember). I already knew numbers as they’re pretty standard kanji to start with, so after seeing that was all it taught I moved to the intermediate one which teaches kanji like ‘defend’, ‘danger’, a phrase for ‘fire prevention week’ among others. Overall this is just *weird*. Usually kanji courses either teach in the order of ascending stroke number, so you learn to write simpler kanji first, or they teach the most useful kanji first. This does neither. I’m honestly stumped as to why they chose these kanji for the second section. Based on the amount of content on the app I can’t imagine it would take a learner very far. If it gets you far enough that you have the motivation to go on then maybe it’s worth it, if you’re interested you may as well try it out..TerathaVersion: 2.7.5

Also, there seem to be some general bugs In the overall experience. The app said “if you want to continue your lesson you need to pay for premium”, I paid it, and then it stopped the lesson and said “thats okay, we’ll take you back to the free stuff” That basically seems to be my experience so far - I want to give it my money but some performance issues are making me nervous.
