✓ Intriguing, But Rather Short and EasyOn a whim, I purchased the app after looking at the pictures and description provided. I then proceeded to finish it over the course of a few sessions over a six hour span. The gameplay is great, as I loved being able to decide what workers did which task, and equipping them appropriately. But once you get a good flow going, the game loses all difficulty, and the last hour or so was just waiting for Alchemists to generate Sunstones. I did encounter a few issues, such as the event texts showing up five or more seconds after the event happened, and a BIG bug where I was able to trade for Ancient Texts despite not having any gems available by just pressing the trade button. I would also suggest not allowing Alchemists to use Iron to make Sun Stones, as that made the endgame FAR too easy to get to. I hope that there will be continued updates and content, as this has the elements of a game that I could find myself playing quite a bit..Version: 1.0.2

✓ Addicting game but need to improve the save buttonI downloaded this game two days ago and now I’m all on it! Few advices though: 1. If the game can be saved at anytime of the day that will be great. I think now it can only be saved in the morning and the save icon is only there for a second? And before I tap it it’s gone. So sometimes when I come back to the game I’ve lost some of my progress and that’s not cool. 2. The arms are a little confusing. Whenever there’s a new kind of weapon, there will be a sentence explaining what it does. But there are so many kinds and for a new user it can be really confusing!!! I wish there’s a help table that shows all the weapons, and shows whom should we equip the weapons to. Other than those this is a great game!! Love it!.Version: 1.0.2
✓ Beautiful, but...Great artwork and beautiful ethereal music. However the gameplay is pretty basic and the game itself is rather short. After a few hours you are done. Compare this to similar 2D games like the banner sagas or Crashlands, where the game takes much longer to explore and complete. ✓ Enjoyed itI really enjoyed the game and was surprised at the quality. A quick tutorial would’ve been nice but it didn’t take long to figure out. I hope in the future the game will be made longer as I would’ve liked to play for longer and advance further. For example more fights with the Titan against tougher enemies to make upgrading more necessary as that mechanic was fun and being able to expand the village further and maybe challenge other settlements. ✓ Simple, yet masterfulThis little gem is incredible. From the very basics of the games mechanics, it works. The graphics are brilliant, the goals achievable and best yet, it doesn't have ads or continual pop ups demanding your dollar. The game is relaxing, almost to the point of forgetting just how long you have been playing. You have choices which will have a major bearing on whether you get through to the next night. I discovered about 8 days in the ability to equip your people. Then the game really opens up, especially when it comes to the nightly slaughter. Don't worry, it isn't overly graphic. If you are after a good, honest no ad no pay to play game, that you could experiment with and genuinely replay able, then yes spend the money and buy this game..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Fun Game, Beat It In Two DaysPretty fun game. For the price, I hope there is more content to come. I beat the game in two days maybe 5-ish hours total? Starting out early on, I would love more functionality with the main character. Being able to add a weapon and some armor and possible upgrades to strength or hit points would be nice. Other than that, the raw portion of it is a good challenge. Also recommend doing some zooming ability. Allow more freedom with the camera to maybe, intake more of the visual art work? Great game overall. I would love additional advancements after going so far and releasing the titan? Instead of ending the game there, allow to go back to village and gather resources to spend those on advancing to a new map or a new story line while keeping you current villagers and such resources. Kudos to the DEVS, I haven’t played any of the other games like this out there right now, but I found it slightly skillful, the concept of things are cool and overall graphics are nicely done..Version: 1.0.2

✓ Sweet But Too ShortI absolutely loved this game! The graphics are gorgeous and the sound is subtle but suitable. The way the community is built is brilliant! Certain characters have attributes that best suit them for certain purposes. The building and crafting is cool also from weapons to tools. The problem is with the length of the game for me. Defeating the final boss felt like stage or world 1 in what I thought was going to be a longer game. I was hoping for new locations and building a bigger community that could spand great areas! Please add more to do after the end gameI thought the game was great, bought it about a month (around when it was released) or so ago and beat it within a few hours, I really enjoyed the time that I spent upgrading the village and (spoiler) fighting the big boss at the end. But after that, I thought there would be more, maybe another land to go to our a possibility to expand my village even more. By there wasn’t, I've waited this long to leave a review hoping their would be more added. However, there hasn’t been since the last time I beat it, I got bored and upgraded the titan to 30 armor and weapon levels thinking it would be fun. Naturally it was, but after that I got very bored with it. Maybe add more things to do? Examples like traveling to new lands instead of just trading with them, add secret loot or maps leading to treasure or something into the caves instead of just simple loot that I could easily get from my villagers. ✓ Great game, very shortFor $4 the game is kind of a rip-off. I finished this game within 2 days of getting it and beating the final boss was easy. I loved the style and the thought put into the game, however it was very fast and it felt at times it was getting a little repetitive. Every night I would be attacked by those weird dungeon dog creature things and I would have to restart the day. Then I would fortify my defenses, a lot, and then only one wolf would come. I think the story should be a bit longer and add some crafting things to do with meteor shards and gems, and whatnot. Starts slow, gets tough, then just when you’re finally getting it and rolling with it and psyched for what’s to come, it just ends. Super unsatisfying as far as that goes. ✓ AMAZING!!!! But...I just got this game and I’m absolutely in love with it, the graphics and simplicity is amazing and it’s right up my alley for the types of games I enjoy playing. So far as I’ve played I haven’t found any issues, the only thing I would like to see however is a better description of items and or jobs because there’s a few things I’ve gotten that I have no idea what they could be used for or what would be obtained if I assign someone to that job and i would like to equip my character with items and armor to help take down the harder bosses. ✓ Like A Dark RoomI’m sure that’s what they were going for. The game is simply allocating your villagers to collect resources to build buildings so you can collect different resources to build buildings and craft supplies so you can... you get it. There’s an air of mystery surrounding the camp, and there’s plenty of unknown dangers that come in the night. Exploration is necessary to continue the story, even though it might take your villagers out of their comfort zone. I clocked it at 3-4 hours, so it’s relatively short for a linear game. It’s got normal mode and hard mode. Both seem reasonable and attainable. My advice is to take the villager descriptions seriously. I’ve been burned by ignoring them. This game needs more recognition. ✓ Great game!I quite enjoyed playing this but I have one small gripe. The audio takes over whatever else I was listening to. For this type of repetitive game, I’d love to be able to listen to my own music or podcasts without the game controlling my audio. I don’t understand why this isn’t a default setting in iOS but it seems to be on the developers’ side to have this in the settings or at least allow me to hit play on the podcast once in the game. Beautiful graphics and enjoyable game play. 4 stars because the game was a little buggy in places but it looks like the devs are sorting those. Also agree with a previous reviewer that having a trade agreement to purchase leather is kind of pointless. I did enjoy the dungeon and final Titan fight though. ✓ This game is awesomeBonfire is an incredible game, I know a lot of people will compare it to kingdom new lands which is in my top 3 iOS games of all time if not my favorite. This game though is a slow start but quickly presents a lot of interesting decisions to make as to where to allocate your resources. The atmosphere is awesome with a soothing soundtrack. ✓ A solid game but lacks freedomI understand that the basis of this game is a guided experience towards unlocking the titan and beating the awakened beast but when I bought it I was under the impression that you have more freedom and there would be more to do. Hopefully a big haul update comes around allowing you to do more with your village and expand rather than just updating your village to unlock the titan. ✓ Better than what the reviews are sayingPersonally I was looking for a game to play in a short time and get it done unlike what a lot of games are today. I was not disappointed. So I finished the game in 2.5-4 hours on normal mode... If anything I would say I enjoyed collecting resources and then using them to improve my villagers.... that’s the type of game this is and it delivers awesomely. And the end of the game was good enough... it wasn’t amazing but it was enjoyable nonetheless and the satisfaction you get after completing the game is really nice. So despite the bad reviews I bought it and I don’t regret it one bit... now as for the future of this game I would say it could use some optional expansions... or even expansions to the original story... or like maybe you could add the option where the cities you’ve discovered ask for help against a horde of monsters and you go help like the way you attack the mysterious caves... I got the cave first try and was fortunate enough to have the mystery script then. I am not sure about replay ability because there is a static rhythm to the first few battles. ✓ Great game. Good tribal tactics.Good how it challenges you to manage your workforce, recourses and priorities for creating new items while guarding against threats. Needs to expand this further to make the game longer lasting. Finished the game within 24 hours. I didn’t need to upgrade Titan at all towards the end to finish the game so there was no need to spend sun things. Game needs to be able to keep expanding continuously after the titan battle is done. Seems like there’s nothing more to do now. I liked how it’s just one payment and there is no stupid things to pay for to speed up building stuff or any other upgrades. Finally a good game without in app purchases and stuff like that. Maybe make it so more wanderers come with challenges and trades. ✓ Great Game. Little confusing. Little shortGame is great loved the art love the style. These are the games I like to find that beautiful to the eyes with deep game play. Game can become a little confusing when your not paying attention to the words on the screen when it tells you what it’s for or what it does. Game add a bit of exploding to figuring out how things work. I managed to beat the game with in a day or 2 probably cause I reached a state where both my guards and warriors where fully geared and it didn’t take much to survive the night or the caves and all I had to do was set my phone down while the game progressed. Think I did that for couple of hours and by then upgraded my titan 50 on armor and 50 on weapon. Was going to go for 100 on both but decided to progress the game to see what happened next. Might think of progressing the enemies to a harder state, but almost unnecessary. I would definitely love to see more games like this where you just kinda figure things out and the game give you a beautiful artsy style game. We don’t always need some 3d nonsense all the time. And I always felt that games for phone should be more picturesesk then being these full on 3d impactful games. Over all great game. Cant wait to see more. Keep it sweet and simple. At times it’s hard and repetitive but the point is to push through all that to complete the game and feel a greater sense of satisfaction. However, there are some bugs that could be fixed fairly easily through updates. ✓ Amusing, casual game with some rough spotsI tend to find resource micromanagement games tedious, and this game eventually had its tedious moments once my population grew sufficiently large and diverse, but the other charms of the game were sufficient to get me through to the end. There were bugs, such as status updates that repeat endlessly or overwrite other, more important updates. Many things required guessing (and failure) to figure out—perhaps that was part of “the game”? Some times that was rewarding, others just annoying. ✓ Please add more to the game...This game is excellent! But it could benefit from more content. Here’s a list of suggestions I would like to appear in the game : Adding other seasons (not always have the same old snow on the ground), making the port have more use, making another zone that can be discovered with the ship, have the zones each have unique uses, make the trades via the ships more realistic and more useful to players (e.g 9 gems for steel is too much), making the end battle a way harder and less obvious, * can we avoid three chupacabra raids in a row? It’s really annoying, it’s hard to progress and it’s just discouraging *, maybe a raid each 3 days so we avoid the fact that every single guards become too tired (adding that to the fact that people don’t come in our village at a acceptable frequency, it’s too slow). ✓ Continues to pleaseThis game has always been a delight to play, it has a really relaxing pace and I find the simple mechanics easy to get into even after years away, though it is starting to show its age with some minor bugs I am hoping this review will spur an update. I find myself stuck in attack mode when an enemy flees and my dead villagers are persisting on the screen after battles. Cheers..Version: 1.0.11
