✓ Running on EmptyThe fuel system completely ruins what would otherwise be a great game. It’s impossible to get into it when it takes a full day to fill up the fuel tank and essentially only 5 plays before it’s empty again. Even with periodic bonus fuel every 5 levels or so, it isn’t enough to keep you going for more than 10 minutes at a time before you’re tapped out. It’s a joke! Additionally, the gems are few and far between and are necessary for most upgrades. The only way to really earn gems is to keep playing, but the lack of fuel prevents you from doing that. One of the things I’ve always loved about Cooking Fever is that you can play continuously and really dedicate yourself to the game, mastering each level by replaying as many times as you want. I don’t understand why Nordcurrent wouldn’t want people to be playing/using the app for longer periods at a time... anyway, I enjoyed the actual game play aspects of Airplane Chefs quite a bit, but ended up deleting the app due to the fuel system. ✓ AnnoyingggggThe most annoying game. I understand you have to make it hard but this is just testing your patience to the max. First it’s the fuel issue you pay 10 cans per game and after every 5 levels which totals to 50 you get given 25 fuel cans which ain’t enough! Then it’s the fact you have to constantly go cook your food then serve it in a very limited time plus pick up rubbish. If you don’t collect your rubbish you loose out on trays and then you end up with none. But if you collect your rubbish the time runs out and people don’t get their food and you loose out on cash. Airplane Chef really puts your reaction abilities to the test while pushing you to get those three stars on every round. But still, the only thing that makes me want to quit is that in order to truly succeed you have to spend real money. ✓ Very Fun game, but very limited game play!I really liked this developers game cooking fever. So when I saw they had another time management game I was really excited! And Now I really love airplane chefs! There are a few minor flaws in the game that are easy to look past. But there is also a major draw back that really disappoints me, that being the fact that is takes fuel to play this game! First of all It is a really low amount that you get to store at a time, 50 isn’t enough. And Second, why would I use my real world money to purchase gems and coins to invest in a game that limits me to play potentially only around 5-10 games a day? I would be more likely to spend my hard earned money on a game that didn’t limit my enjoyment so much. Yes, I know that I you can buy/use gems to refill your fuel. Problem is that the fuel is outrageously priced! You also offer free fuel for watching ads, but you only get 1 fuel at a time. ✓ Fun, but flawedThis is a fun game, if you like this type of game, but has some serious flaws that detract from the gameplay. The first is that you need to earn lots of coins, and gems, to upgrade anything. Earning money is relatively easy, by playing levels, earning gems is much more difficult, unless you are prepared to spend real cash and buy them (of course). The second, and biggest flaw, is that each time you play a level costs a certain amount of fuel. Once your fuel runs out, you cannot play again until it replenishes. The fuel replenishes over time, or as a reward for finishing a certain amount of levels or completing a task, but of course if you cannot play a level as you have no fuel, you cannot then complete a task or a level to earn more fuel. So basically you can play three or four times until your fuel runs out, then have to put the game down for a few hours until your fuel replenishes enough (or spend gems to buy fuel, but of course gems cost cash). Why oh why developers hamstring their games like this is beyond me - I want to pick the game up and play it when I have time to do so, not pick it up to then put it down as my fuel level isn’t high enough. Something that game has that this game REALLY lacks though is a significant daily login bonus that actually helps and increases each day you play. The daily award is ridiculously small compared to the cost of items and upgrades in this game. AND there is no “casino” like function to gamble for gems like Cooking Fever has either. The only way to go all the way in this game is to upgrade the awesome variety of food items, but the cost is extremely high. Coins AND gems are required, and you can’t even buy them in a bundle when you do want to pay money. You have to buy everything separately and at a very high cost. It’s a shame because the game is so much fun, but I want to enjoy more of the fancier upgrades and even though I have put in a pretty good amount of money here and there it’s still not enough and I do feel a little ripped off. Even when you beat a level you lose fuel which means you can only play about 5 games before you’re completely out unless you buy gems to refuel and even when you do spend your gems to refuel they don’t give you enough fuel for one level (which is 10 fuel per level) they give you 9 when you spend a gem to refuel which pushes you to spend money to continue playing if you are out of gems. The items cost coins and gems to upgrade so unless you spend money you would be stuck using outdated items until you can upgrade. Its 12min waiting time for one fuel so you would have to wait 120 mins (2hours) just to be able to play a level if you run out. The guest are very impatient they order and get upset faster than the food can be made. It basically designed for you to fail so you could spend money to upgrade and and continue playing. Many times though I play days to accumulate the required coins and gems to update my inventory, only to have the game freeze, inventory returned, and without the restored gems or coins. Ill contact the developper and a few days later get the restoration of coins and gems. It is a frustrating process. Lately, ive noticed using gems and coins to upgrade to win more points as is necessary in this game, and yet the final score remains the same: the upgrades take your hard earned coins and gems for no benefit. Also, the amounts required to upgrade have increased to the point of it significantly more difficult to advance levels without paying actual cash to updgrade (cheating, in my opinion). ✓ Keeps resettingThe game is so bad. Every time I play it, if I play a video after a while it resets and I lose whatever I gained. If I play a level, and play a video to get x2 rewards after I played the game and go back to the home page it resets and I lose whatever extra reward I gained from playing the video. Sometimes the new levels provide eg three 700gold (2100 total gold) and with the x2 if you play the video would be 4200 total gold and I lose that extra 2100 because sometimes the game decides to reset when I goto the main menu. But where all the other places, once complete all have a little yelllow circle with a tick in the middle but New York one, once completed has green back ground with a yellow tick. There is some kind of a glitch with this feature as I have logged in multiple times every day for months but haven’t been about to collect more then about 20 in any given month. I have tried several times looking at the timer and waiting for it to go to zero but it won’t let me collect, even if I log out and back in. There have also been times when it gives something like a 20 hour countdown then it is suddenly available a short while later. So don’t count on that being reliable. If it’s a few minutes and you have to close out of the game, you just lose your progress. This is a game that will entice you to spend money so you can expand faster. ✓ Amazing with problemsThis game is so addicting and I would love to play it all the time but there are many issues with it. I really wish I could give this game 5 stars but I cannot. First, the fuel aspect is fine except that it take was too long to accumulate gas. It take 10 minutes for one unit. That means I have to wait over an hour just to get to play one level of the game. And of course you can but more fuel with gems but gems aren’t easy to come buy unless you pay for them. It’s such a good game with enough of a challenge in it to keep you hooked, however trying to build your fuel levels up in order to play a level takes a ridiculous amount of time. 12 minutes per unit of fuel, 10 units needed for 1 level. Weirdly if you get sucked into paying for fuel with real money the lowest you can buy will cost you 1 gem however you only get 9 units so not even enough to play 1 level. This clearly shows how much the developers want you to spend money. So far I am only managing to play once a day due to how long it takes to build up 50 units, which for me just isn’t worth it. ✓ Too expensiveI love this game, I really do and I think it has great potential BUT… everything is too expensive as many reviews say, and developers aren’t listening. I have unlocked all the restaurants so far and am trying to complete them all with 3 stars, the only way to do this is to continually play the same level of a good restaurant over and over again to earn smiles which then earn a gem. I really do not understand why coins can’t be exchanged for gems or fuel. I have over 4 million coins sitting doing nothing and have to wait ages for fuel to replenish. Cheapest gem package is £0.89 for 10 which will get you absolutely nowhere. That’s not even enough to upgrade seats. Unlike cooking fever where you upgrade 3 times and it’s full, some of the upgrades here need a lot more. I can’t even guess how much it will take to upgrade a whole plane. Also the amount of gems that is required to even pass certain levels is ridiculous. I am currently at a standstill on one of the levels because of the gem requirement. One suggestion is to update the amount of gas that a player is allowed to have since the further along you get the more gas you’ll need. As you do with the gas you have it available to watch a video to gain 1 gas ( need at least 10 since some of the levels require it) it should be the same for gems as well (it can be 2 gems per 1 video watched). I am on the first flight and cannot move on as you only get 50 fuel which is essentially 5 levels then you have to pay to get more fuel. You can use diamonds but in 28 levels I have a sum total of 14 of these! To open the next flight I need diamonds but I need to use all my diamonds to update and finish my current flight. So 28 levels 14 diamonds or an average of 20 diamonds per 40 levels. You need 5 diamonds for 9 fuel and 10 fuel per level so you can’t purchase fuel without spending money and buying diamonds. You need diamonds to upgrade equipment and diamonds to open new levels with ZERO chance of earning enough by playing to do this! Ok there are no ads but I would have to spend £3.00 per level to actually pass and open the next level and that is without the fact that you can only play 5 levels every 24 hours as you wait for your fuel to refill. There are also forceable ads which can come up after playing a game. This happens even when you have been watching their optional ads. It’s like ads all over the place. ✓ 3X More Expensive, Crashes Multiple Time A DayI love Cooking Fever and was excited to try this game. It’s as fun, fresh and addictive as Cooking Fever (CF) was. There are more elements to each meal that you have to manage making it more exciting and fast-paced, but I feel that’s also a drawback because the “touchable” area of each food component is so small and close together that it’s easy to make mistakes even when you’re being careful. It can also be a strain on the eyes. If you thought earning gems was painstaking in CF, it’s WAY worse in this game. You don’t earn as much coin either. On top of that the Fuel part of it significantly restricts playing time, forcing you to spend money to purchase gems. I really feel Nordcurrent is trying to gouge my wallet, much more so than in CF. The best value gem package offered is also 3x more expensive than CF. Lastly, and this is SUPER annoying, the app crashes on me multiple times a day costing me 10 fuel every time. ✓ Too expensiveI love Nordcurrent’s Cooking Fever so had high hopes for this game... but it’s way too expensive. In CF there was no pay for play component - in this one there is “fuel”. Not to mention nearly EVERY upgrade (past Denver) requires gems. (Also in CF there is a casino where you can get 15 gems a day & 7 gems for leveling up... no such thing in this game!) The only way to get gems is through daily gifts which will give you one every 10 days (meaning you have to save for around 50 days to get any good upgrades as most are between 3-10 gems) or by getting smiles which is difficult to do if A. You can’t afford the upgrades to make people happier because you don’t have gems and B. You can’t play enough levels in a row to get smiles fast because you run out of fuel. So you could be directly over that person to give them the tray and it doesn’t trigger as if you’re over the person. On a game that is time sensitive having to repeat the same action five times to get it right prevents you from moving on to the next level with all the required stars. Each city is an airplane type in which your customers (the passengers) are seated. Each Airplane (city) has 50 levels with the first 5 needing 2 units of “fuel” to play every time, the next 5 units and starting at level 11, you have to pay 10 units of fuel every time you want to play the app. Some achievements give you fuel units as a reward but they are sparse. There are two ways to get get fuel. One is to “buy” them with “Gems”, the other to wait. Fuel replenishes automatically when you drop below 50 units at a rate of 1 unit/12 minutes (5/hour, 10 hours will give you the maximum tank volume of 50 units). You then play 5 levels. Gems also come as rewards in achievements (one-time minor goals during gameplay) but are as sparse as fuel. The other way is to pay real money. 10 gems cost CAD 1.39 and give you 120 units of fuel (12 levels of play starting at level 11). Each airplane/city has various machines (coffee makers, ovens, etc) and extra pieces for which a customer might ask (newspapers, side dishes, etc). This can reach to higher than 20 separate pieces per airplane to “upgrade”. The upgrade prices are ridiculously high and often include “gems” along with the in-game cash or you won’t get the upgrade. Each upgradable piece has a small bar that fills with green as you upgrade, suggesting when it is full, the upgrades are finished. This is not so. This bar empties and refills after 4 upgrades and there are MANY more than that for each upgrade. These upgrades vary from providing more money as they are sold to customers to reducing cooking, brewing or preparation time for a particular food item. If you don’t upgrade as you move along, you will not finish the levels which leaves you to replay the levels (at the same fuel level prices) over and over to earn enough money to upgrade equipment. Of course, you cannot upgrade some things because they require gems as well. This game is very frustrating and built solely for the purpose of revenue generation. If you have enough money to spend, it can be enjoyable, for a time since you have to continue to pay to play. The programmer missed the opportunity to bring about an app that can be enjoyed by more people and possibly have them spend some money as support or to overcome a small hurdle in the game. If you have a hiccup in your internet connection (required to play the game), the app will quit. I have had it quit on me several times (iPad mini 4 running iOS 14.3). This will cost you the full fuel price (up to 10 units depending on the level of play) and no response from the programmer except an email that they are sorry for the delay (a few days after “customer support” is contacted) and they are “quickly reacting to each email”. They should either charge for a full version of the app, or increase the fuel tank size, or lower the amount of time needed to earn 1 fuel point. As is, this isn’t a game I allow myself to get too caught up in, because it requires too much money. I don’t mind that gems take time to earn. You get them pretty easily just by playing. ✓ Very addicting game but...It has the same catch that Cooking Fever has; in that you can only advance to a certain point before you have to pay actual money to continue. It is very fun don’t mistake me on that part. The menu varieties are interesting and accurate to the regions they’re from. ✓ Good but frustratingI really enjoy this game on surface level however it’s super annoying how it’s basically impossible to win a tournament without spending money, even when I do spend money I don’t get enough fuel to be able to come in the top 10. ✓ Avoid At All CostsThis game has potential. I like time-management games and I thought I would like this game. In the beginning, I did but as I progressed, it became all too clear that I should have known it would get harder and need real money to move further in the game. First, the company should have tipped me off as I played Cooking Fever and I quit for some of the same reasons I uninstalled this game. The fuel system is reminiscent of all energy based games. Use it all up then wait for hours to refill. Yeah, that’s no fun. Then the upgrades for appliances gets more and more expensive and gems don’t come easy in this game so break out your wallet! Then the gameplay itself can be annoying given the size of your game area. Mistakes can easily happen and the passengers are so impatient to the point of wanting to smack them! Support was probably the only good thing about this game but it wasn’t enough to keep me playing. I just hope some enterprising developers will create a better knock off of this game, like how Cooking Craze is a much better game than Cooking Fever! ✓ Entertaining, Addictive, Expensive!!This game is extremely entertaining and challenging!! it has great graphics and isn’t boringly repetitive. recently, i can’t stop playing it!! BUT, once you are hooked, this game is distinctively designed to get you to spend money!! the rewards from levels won do not match the “price” of being able to continue to play. fuel takes entirely too long to refill on its own, and having gems is key playing: buying fuel, upgrading plane/kitchen stock/etc./etc. there is no way to earn the amount of gems needed to play without purchasing them from the store, and they don’t come cheap! i’ve spent more money than i’d like to admit on this game — and i never, ever do that!! i may have to delete the app altogether so i’m no longer tempted, which is a shame because it has been a welcome distraction during some personal hard times..Monica.elyseVersion: 3.0.2

✓ Addictive but…I’ve given it 3 stars because the Denver airport is amazing and is so addictive but with the Aussie and London airports (the other two I do have) to update any of the food or equipment it costs gems. Unless you have money to waste, then don’t bother playing. It’s unnecessarily expensive. And with the other airports that aren’t Denver, it’s all extremely slow and you have spend a tonne of money to get any of it to speed up enough not to lose customers. ✓ Good game but crashes all the timeThis game is really similar to Cooking Fever, which I enjoyed so knew I’d like this game too. It’s really addictive though so beware! The only ads seem to be optional viewing to gain small rewards, which I like. However, the massive downside is it constantly crashes. A message pops up saying “Unknown Error”, throws you out of the game and your progress isn’t saved, which is incredibly annoying. ✓ Money money moneyI never wrote reviews but felt compelled to for this one. First off, this game has SO much potential, it’s one of the best time management games I’ve played in a long time. However, the fuel requirements for each level is insanity. 10 per level when you only get 59 fuel each day is crazy. 1 fuel per level is plenty. Also, the upgrades are ridiculously expensive compared to the amount of gems and coins you’re able to earn. Please fix this! ✓ Fuel doesn’t increase fast enoughThis would be a fantastic game if the developers fix two things. 1 the fuel does not increase fast enough to make the game worth playing. Without fuel you are unable to play the game. What a shame there isn’t a casino to earn fuel similar to Cooking Fever. 2 the glitches within the game make it impossible to win such as having trays of food available only when you tap on them the trays will not go onto the cart. ✓ Fix the fuel issue!I have been playing Cooking Fever for over 4 years and was delighted when I stumbled across this Nordcurrent game. Absolutely love the concept of being a busy flight attendent, however the fuel situation needs to be fixed ASAP! It should be regenerating hourly. ✓ Great game, in game purchases let it down!I love this game! The animations and unique play style needed for each location sets high above most other time management games of its kind. What really let’s it down, and I really hope the devs see this, are the in-game purchase options. I’m so put off buying gems as I know I’m going to run out of fuel so quickly and I’m not going to be able to use the upgrades. I don’t want to buy fuel with the gems because you don’t get enough of them in a purchase. PLEASE add a purchase option for limitless fuel and no adds. ✓ Fix the bug & allow more fuel!Without fuel you cannot play and it is definitely about the money for these guys. Fab game but you stop playing for six months, go on it and you have enough fuel for a bit of a game but then very quickly back to none. Makes the game a bit pointless. More fuel as gifts or prizes would be ideal. Diamonds and fuel are incredible hard to get unless you buy buy buy. When the ads come on between, it gives a white screen and you have to restart. ✓ Too expensiveThis is an excellent game and a great step up from Cooking Fever. However it is too expensive! There is little to no reward for playing long hours. Unlike Cooking Fever, you do not receive gems at a useable rate. It takes 350 smile points to get one gem, and you need so many gems to upgrade food, appliances, seats. I love the game and it is addictive but will have to delete it as it is costing too much money. Disappointed that there isn’t more incentive for dedicated fans!.Mags257Version: 2.0.1

✓ Good game but…I have played cooking fever for YEARS and love it. So I was super excited when I found out about this game. The game is fun, fast paced, and similar to cooking fever, but..... this game requires “fuel” per play and unfortunately you cap at 50 gallons and most games beyond level 20 require 10 gallons per play. You cannot bank gallons so once you get to 50 gallons of fuel you cannot earn more until you use some of the 50 and it take aprox. 10 minutes to earn 1gallon. You can buy more fuel with gems but gems as awards are far and few in between AND it seems as though a lot of the upgrades require gems too. Between fuel and upgrades there are not enough gems to go around and they are expensive to pay out of pocket for. I am hopeful with the next update we will either get more gems through play, see the fuel requirement go away, or they add something similar to the casino that is featured in cooking fever where you get free play and can earn gems and/or fuel fingers crossed..A Gamer MomVersion: 2.0
