✓ The Order of Time Guardians.Have been playing and enjoying this game for many weeks. Last evening had no trouble accessing game. Today however, every time I try to open it, nothing happens. Wifi connection all good, no result. Have shut down and restarted iPad, still no result. Would appreciate some guidance on how I can now continue to enjoy game. ✓ No progressStarted out great. I don’t mind that I only get a couple of games on various puzzles from my energy, as it’s not a game I sit and want to play for hours - just time for a couple of quick puzzles. The story book with chapters was progressing but I seem to have stalled for months at the end of Chapter 8 with no advancement to Chpt 9. Many of the items you create (after collecting 5 specific items + some common items) are not needed at all for combining into the larger collections. So I’m not sure of their purpose..Version: 1.0.6
✓ Great game but...I would really love this game if it wasn’t so costly on the energy usage. You start with 200 energy & it costs 30 to enter an area. That’s not too bad but each time you improve 8n an area the cost goes up (surely you should be rewarding people for getting better) by 10 whilst improving your level only increases your energy by 5. I am now level 14. I have 265 energy & it costs me 70 to go into some areas so I only get 3 goes before I run out of energy. Very frustrating. The game also promises handsome rewards for completing collections. Not true, you only get a gem. This game would be awesome if you made it more playable..Version: 1.0.20

✓ Loading erratic and far too many hidden object puzzles.Loading is very slow when it does load. So far 4 hidden object areas, 1 sliding gems and 1 fit several shapes into a big shape. Energy replenishment is very slow (unless you want to spend) and also seems to be erratic if inactive. No information on how long it is supposed to take seems to be available. Object of the game is to solve the puzzles to get materials, often no material is obtained even after solving the puzzle. Interesting storyline overall but far too repetitive to maintain any long time interest. I will get bored with the game before I get to the end of the story. ✓ Better Story, Mechanics Need WorkThey positively cram in the ads, which would be less annoying if a significant percentage of those ads didn’t fail, forcing you to close and reopen the app (which takes an unusually long time). The artwork is lovely, the variation in the scenes is good, and the story is fun, but your progression slows exponentially (even after a few days) so that you only get to play 2-3 puzzles per session, you don’t make progress with every puzzle you solve, and you soon find that they’re stingy with the energy (if you level up, it restocks your energy to full and no more, regardless of your energy condition, so you may only get a few points; they never allow for surplus, as most other games do). I bet they lose most of their users to frustration and boredom within a few weeks..Version: 1.0.20

✓ Pointless tasks, time wasting game.After playing this game for a long long time, have found the game is pointless. The storyline eventually peters out and there is no justification for doing repeated searches. The game just strings you on to keep you occupied but you get no closer to reaching any sort of goal, if there is any goal at all because there is no storyline anymore. After the hours wasted on this game it’s a wonder I haven’t deleted it already. I am a poofteenth away from doing just that - deleting the game! Do yourselves a favour - don’t even start! ✓ Early days! - Update!!Having played this game for a short time I can no longer get into it. The ‘loading bar’ goes so far along then stops and no matter how often I’ve tried over the last couple of days it just won’t work. Looks like I’ll have to delete the game, shame as I was starting to enjoy it!! 🙁 Not sure about this game as yet. Only recently started playing it so am only on Level 6. My main problem is that some of the items can be quite hard to see and as there is no facility to zoom in (unlike a lot of games) I find some scenes quite difficult. ✓ Fun HO but needs workPlease, please add a zoom feature. When you’re a 20-something year-old game programmer, you might scoff at needing a zoom function. Just you wait, you young whippersnappers. One day, you (hopefully) will be middle-aged, too. Also, some of us HO players think that if an HO scene’s difficulty is driven mainly by making the objects small, the designer didn’t take enough time to truly develop the HO scene. You can hide objects without making them tiny. ✓ GlitchesAs soon as you have to spin the “wheel of fortune” it glitches out and you can’t get out of the screen. Only way to do it is turn device on and off and it takes you to the point before and makes you spin the wheel again leaving you in a constant loop of getting no where and not being able to carry on the game and it’s quests. ✓ Lost all levels and can’t retrieveI’ve really enjoyed playing this game for free, I got to level 102 then this morning I logged on to find I was back at level 1. I tried restarting my device and reinstalling the game as suggested by the Nordcurrent help page but because I have never linked to Facebook I have lost it all. Very frustrating and I have found another game I prefer so I will be deleting this one. I did enjoy it while it lasted, I did about 15-20 minutes twice a day as a relaxation by doing the puzzles which is why it has 3 stars rather than 1, but beware, you could lose all your levels at anytime if you don’t link. ✓ Enjoy the gameI have been playing a few weeks now and have not seen the glitches others describe. Personally I would play more but I don’t like having to watch a timer constantly. The reason I play games is to relax. Of course you use up your energy quickly because the games are so short and cost so much to play. An interesting game to play overall and you don’t have to invest your life savings in order to move forward in your quests. Regeneration of energy is MUCH better than other games by this company. They also have a better game called Murder in the Alps, but the only thing that takes longer than energy regeneration in that game is release of new chapters/game content. ✓ Too much time wastedThe game is fun. However, the reason I rate it so low is - 1. It takes an unreasonable amount of energy to do anything. 2. Watching a 30 second ad for an additional 30 seconds of play time makes solving a complex puzzle incredibly frustrating. In some cases just undoing your previous attempt takes the entire 30 seconds you earned by watching the ad. 3. Amulets are too expensive and they are the only way to make play bearable. 4. Energy does not replenish quickly enough to make it worth waiting around. 5. The game is kinda buggy - claims my network is down, but everyone in the house is on it and they’re fine, game reloads at unexpected times, and energy doesn’t always refresh at all when the game is not being played. Scenes with hidden objects and magnifier are particularly buggy, sometimes you have to touch objects repeatedly before they ‘click’. Other mini games are completely unclear, nothing is well explained, in contrast to Alps, where the goal of all mini games are clearly explained. Not impressed. ✓ RIP OFFSo I started playing this game and actually spent a few pounds on buy gems etc and then I realised something. The higher the level you go and the fewer gems you have certain parts of the game cannot be completed. For example Watchmaker area. I’m pretty good at these but after trying the same one nearly 200 times I actually screenshot it and sent to a few friends. They all tried to work it out over a few days and came to the same conclusion I did. The only way to complete it is to buy gems and keep using them until you complete. This roughly works out to be 3 to 4 attempts so nearly 36 gems then bingo! Same on the Navigation area. Again did screenshot. Sent to friends who are not stupid. There’s no way to complete without highlighting the orange circles. Only way you can complete is by buying gems and again bingo! Spoke to a friend who’s a game creator and they think it’s been created so the only way you can win in certain areas as you get higher levels is to make gem purchases. Well done Nordcurrent. ✓ Fix it!The game is pretty good when it’s working. Could be less money grabbing, gets in your face a bit much. Really, the game is addictive enough that they could back off and probably make more money bc more would play. Some scenes are a bit dark, which I don’t enjoy, I much prefer the brighter ones. My main issue, and why I gave one star, is that their server can’t handle the volume of players, especially when events are going. Been getting the server is not responding try again in 15 min for over a day now. Got one scene in this morning, thought yay it’s fixed... but no, back to the message. ✓ Not enough energyI enjoy these types of games but this is ridiculous for energy usage. I have 305 energy available for my level but the locations use 70 energy each. This equals not a lot of game time. Also locations do not drop anything useful too often and the in-game games seem impossible at times. ✓ Great gameThe story line is great and the characters interesting. The game has great sounds too. However, I have trouble seeing the hidden objects in some locations because there is not much variation in color even when I enlarge the picture as far as I can. I do realize it is MY eyes but it makes playing the game difficult. The other problem I have is some of the puzzles take ME a little longer to solve. I also get bored working the same areas over and over. BUT if you don’t mind this type of hidden object game definitely give this game a try. There is no need to use real money unless you want to. New characters are brought in. I do like the time period and while I may have trouble seeing hidden objects the graphics in general are great. ✓ Several issues ruin the fun1) amount of energy required to play each scene is ridiculous, you can only do three puzzles or games at a sitting 2) it's buggy; for instance I just now had to close the gems puzzle as the game didn't detect there were no available moves and did not trigger a reset, even though I had five moves left 2a) crashes with some frequency, meaning you lose a lot of energy (see point 1) 3) I don't mind watching ads to get more time or moves, in fact they are mostly entertaining in themselves, but the ads are frequently buggy also; and don't make me watch an ad AFTER I completed a puzzle, it just makes me angry 4) I hate hate HATE their morphing mode; each morph takes too much time, and the item jumps around the screen, simply annoying 5 the microtransactions are too expensive. I might give you a buck or two at a time but 10$? Forget you. Having said all that, this is the best and most interesting of this type of game I've ever played. Good visuals, a story line you can follow, better by far than Seekers Notes or Midnight Castle. And you can actually see the items in the scenes. ✓ Alright till it wasn't.Started out great, seem to level up pretty quickly so got a pretty decent turn before my energy ran out. Now I can only get 3-5 turns and that's usually doing the same level because even though I find all the objects it takes a couple times to actually win the reward. Gets a bit boring. Now I can't open it, the main screen has a yellow loading bar saying it's adding additional data but when gets to the last few KB it says no internet connection. Being happening for over a week now. ✓ Update makes it unplayableThe game itself is very enjoyable but, like a lot of the reviews, you don’t get much in the way of energy to play. Plus there are times during a game you need to get additional tries or time so you would have to watch an ad for 5-15 seconds before trying again. ✓ Had enoughHaving reached level 26, I’ve decided I’ve had enough of the incessant advertising, many of which take far too many clicks to close and have just deleted the game. Some of the games are also frustrating with zero prizes even having completed it with a score of 6. In other games I can have 6 on the bar, but lose all of it finding the last 1 or 2 objects. The morphing level drove me crazy, because it isn’t morphing, it’s disappearing and is impossible to get a high score on. ✓ Forcing you to pay?This game worked fine until I was about level 12 then as others have said energy does not recharge. The only way to make this happen is to leave the game open with nothing else running and even that is a bit iffy. It’s a brilliant game, good story and a great mix of puzzles. It’s challenging once you get each puzzle a few levels harder (by playing through several times). But with each puzzle costing me between 40 and 70 energy I get through it to quickly now. ✓ IssuesThe game concept is pretty good and entertaining bu there are constant issues, i.e. latest update cancelled the amulets I had activated! I had achieved one of these in their last quest so you can’t buy it. It was supposed to last for another 5 days. ✓ Don’t instal the latest updateI loved this game, that was until I installed the current update (Feb 19). The game will steal your money and they don’t care.Overall the game is quite good, but it experienced a pretty significant glitch in me and after 3 days since I contacted support - no response other than the automated message that the ticket was received. I had spent over 2 hours progressing in the game, spent $100 in in-app purchases to make my progress and advanced through timed challenges and made progress against those. I logged out for about an hour to get some work done and when I came back, all my progress had been lost and I was back to where I started that morning. I was still charged for the in-app purchases I made and even all the progress I made in the timed challenge game was completely gone. I was furious. I submitted a ticket and am still waiting for a response - meanwhile the timed challenge game is ending soon and I’m not playing anything else because I’m hoping they’re able to restore my progress. Bugs in quests that mean you spend diamonds to enter and then can’t actually take part - this one is really annoying. When entering a quest it says you’ve already obtained 198 of the 260 objects required (happened four times fo four different quests, always stuck at 198?!) but you haven’t and you can’t progress. Updates are far too slow in coming - I had two similar games from this developer, one I haven’t been able to play for months now despite there being new chapters ‘coming soon’, and this one gives no explanation / warning that you’ve come to the end of the playable chapters. Oh, and the final straw is that if you access the developers website and search for this game, it returns no results - it doesn’t exist! ✓ Really AnnoyingI love Murder in the Alps, but this is a sad second effort. The scenes are very hard to see and I’m playing on an iPad Pro with a 12” screen. I can’t imagine playing this on a phone as there is no zoom. There is a set number of locations, so the objects that you need to find change locations. They are small even on a large screen so being able to zoom in is a must. Also, the scenes have different modes. Morph mode is really stupid. The objects will disappear and you need to find the objects that do that, but it’s really slow. Oh, by the way, you only have a minute and a half to find them all. Good luck.
