✓ Really slowMeasures the time it takes to charge your battery 2% and then divides that by 2. If you’re on a meh charger, that can take a long time. Different measurements if the the phone is locked, vs when the phone is unlocked and open on the app screen, running the ads and test. ✓ Free version is uselessFull page banner ads appear automatically at a regular interval of 30-60 seconds or so. Keep in mind that according to the dev, tests take 3-10+ min& you can not switch apps during the test or it will fail. Banner ad pops up, causing the current test to abort as the app switches over to view the ad. If the free version of an app is supposed to allow users to test drive the program at no cost, one would assume that basic functionality would be included. How do you expect someone to buy your app if this is their initial impression of the UX?.Version: 2.1.3

✓ Good but could be improved!It monitors the charging rate of your phone so you can compare different chargers, leads, etc. Tests performed over a minute or two it takes for the battery to increase in charge level by at least 2%. Like 53% to 55%. Results reported in milliamperes but does NOT use the conventional abbreviation of mA but for some unknown reason displays MAMP. That does not inspire confidence. I think it estimates the charge rate by change in charge percentage reported by the iPhone, the specification of the battery capacity, and the time taken. So okay for comparisons of leads etc but maybe not good as an absolute reading. Also gives WATT value as it knows the battery voltage. Again unconventional in that the units MAMP and WATT are displayed before and not AFTER the readings! Keeps a record of test results and you can name them which is useful..Version: 4.0.04

✓ Too slowI have an app on my other phone called Ampere by Braintrapp that measures amperes of the battery within seconds. This takes over 10 minutes! It seems that far superior app is only available on Android devices. Now I’m starting to realize just how pathetic iOS apps can be. I guess I’ll have to use the iPhone I have just for making videos and taking pictures. The apps for their operating system is just getting worse and worse. ✓ Rubbish…deleted appFirstly it refused to do a test on ‘Compare Wiees or Chargers’ and the app reported it will only work if the phone is at 90% or lower, well it was at 71%. Again the over power test wouldn’t work because it says the test would only work if the phone is at 75% or lower. Again it was at 72%. It also reported when I finally managed to get it to test something, said the wattage was low at 4.2watt but it’s on a 96watt charger with a 100watt cable. Useless, deleted the app and looking elsewhere. I suggest you do the same..Version: 4.0.04

✓ Good app but??Nice and great thing if you want to make play around with your wires and charger but do not expect it to be accurate. Have tried using all fast chargers,car chargers and normal chargers and the results are a bit impressive apart from all fast chargers including both samsung and 40w iphone + usbc charger. I think ampere does not recognize fast charging and the highest result it can give is 980ma. Overall pretty good app..Version: 2.0.7
✓ V 2.05 now has limits to number of free testsEdit, in response to developer’s reply: You were able to sustain the previous version with ads which I didn’t mind. I suppose the revenue you generated then wasn’t enough. There are a number of completely free apps out there which provide stellar service and never charged a cent in one way or another. I have also purchased apps which were well worth the price I paid. If I had another job to support myself, I would do it for the passion of developing apps. If this was your sole income, then...good luck. Perhaps sell it for whatever price you wish as a one-time fee. If the user really loves your app, then they’ll pay for it. To me, it wasn’t worth the hassle of viewing ads. This is all a moot point since I’m deleting the app. Thanks for reminding me to do so, given your sarcastic reply. •••••••••• Beware, version 2.05 now has a limit to the number of free tests. ✓ Irratic resultsWireless charging. I place it on the charger and it runs and shows 509mamp and 205sec to achieve 1%. Then I immediately start the app again and it shows 5220mamp and 20sec to achieve 1%. How is this possible? Can't say I trust this app at all after seeing this..Version: 2.0.13
