✓ A tutorial would ruin thisThe whole point of this game, as with Her Story, is that figuring out what you are meant to do is part of the game. I would call this an interactive story, rather than a game. You don't need to be a gamer to enjoy it. There are a whole lot of lies to sift through, to find the truth. I was lucky and worked out the ending within an hour. Of course I then kept picking away at it to see how we got there. I can't recommend this highly enough..ArgeauxVersion: 1.0.4

✓ So goodAww man love this game!! The characters are super well written and there is so much to find out about them. I did get lucky/unlucky and found one of the final scenes with my fourth or fifth search term it was a really random term but from there it all slotted into place fairly quickly. I was through to the end sequence in just over 2 hrs but I still have so much more footage to search through and flesh out the story, and it so good that you won’t want to stop after the end credits. The only thing I would say which isn’t made clear (and I don’t think it’s a spoiler) is when you get results for the search term it shows you the clips that are relevant. but when you click on them they are cued up so they start with your search term, which may be 6 mins into a 7min video. It wasn’t until a fair way into my play through that I realised you can rewind the videos to the beginning. I was initially thinking damn I gotta find a different search term to start nearer the beginning :) It’s big thumbs up from me.Macmonkey_1975Version: 1.0.3

✓ Great concept let down by the UIThe story and acting are spot-on, and the gameplay element of “ahah! a word I can search for to find more video” is really fun. But once you’ve identified the two halves of a conversation, why can’t you watch them side by side? (We know in-game from meta-data that the clips are perfectly synchronised.) ✓ Only a Few Issues in an Otherwise Perfect ExperienceScrubbing is the issue... we need a “restart video” button or 30 second skip. I dove in for an hour the other night before vacation and I am afraid I uncovered most of the plot. I hope not, I’ll play more today... but so far it was very easy to unlock everything. A few key words and you’re suddenly down the rabbit hole. I hope there is more to the plot than what I’ve already figured out, but I love the game. ✓ I’ll just try a little...So I downloaded on my iPad (large file for videos I’m sure) at 11:00 at night “just to try it out.” Four hours later! Fun to try and match videos. I think I’ve got the overall story figured out, but still fun to see the “filler” videos. First challenge was trying to determine what was the first and the last video. ✓ Problem with text not syncingA number of times I’ve had to come out of clips and try and scrub to get the subtitles to move on from the search term, apart from that I’m loving the game. A double tap to rewind to the start of the clip would be welcome. This is a game changing use of FMV, Her Story was brilliant but this takes it up to another level, using proper actors and a variety of cameras and settings make you feel like you’re the detective trying to unpick the truth, like Big Little Lies but you’re in the driving seat - please fix those niggling issues. ✓ A refreshing changeIt may seem a little pricey but in fact it’s actually really good value for the amount of entertainment it provides and offers a refreshing change to most current games that purport to be free while then preventing progress unless you’re happy to be milked for extra cash every update/month, etc. The game play is great and the characters are genuinely intriguing. ✓ IPhone 8So far so good!!! I’m still trying to connect the dots to this masterpiece of a game. This is really for 17 and older honestly, but the stories by these characters conversations are interesting or either touching to some point. I had to read the directions on paper within the game to learn how to play because it could get a bit difficult putting the pieces together. The gameplay is awesome without any flaws, touch responsiveness is on par without any complaints, video quality is superb..no blurry effects (on iPhone 8 anyways) and the acting is very good also with smooth performance.
