✓ DisappointingMe and many others spent a lot of money on the standalone games and now our money has been completely washed away and we will never be able to play those stories again without paying again. Thanks.Version: 3.2
✓ Where do I start... P.S They’ll straight up steal your moneyI’ve been a long time player of Voltage, for about 7 years or so, and I’ve seen their decline. The app is a portal app of all of their previous apps, and ever since doing this Voltage has done nothing but ignore its customer base. Those who played these games played them because you could just straight out buy a story and read it whenever, something nearly impossible to find in otome games which are nearly all freemium. So what did voltage do? Introduce Love Choice! A freemium option! Great! But guess what they also did? Made it so all new main stories are brought out under Love Choice only, meaning you can’t just buy and read them anymore, and this version in fact costs 3x the amount as the purchased stories. We argued and argued and pleaded and they ignored us and introduced it anyway. We said we didn’t want a new UI, they introduced it anyway. All in all, if you’re not already in the app, don’t download it. Voltage’ll find a way to disappoint you. Lowered my rating of them even further because when I purchased a coin login bonus they gave me a heart login bonus by mistake, and have refused to give me my coins despite me having evidence through a receipt that I purchased a coin login. So they essentially stole £8 from me and now don’t even answer my messages. This happened over a year ago and they still refuse to put it right..Version: 6.6
✓ Let DownCan’t believe there’s no backup available for customers who have purchased / invested in soooo many stories since the start of Voltages first apps. I’ve been trying every password I could think of looking through all my papers and can’t find my misplaced password for transfer... Previously when we re-downloaded stand alone apps to new device our purchases were connected through Apple ID. All purchases were easily restored but now unless I miraculously recall my password 5yrs (aprox $500) worth of downloads and stories are now lost. Really wish they provided better security for customers purchases. ☹️.Version: 3.5
✓ I used to be happierI have been a VIP customer for over a year, and I’m getting ready to cancel because the platform has essentially stopped producing content in the form I like to consume it. The monthly VIP subscription used to be a pretty good deal—I’d apply the included stories for new content and use the advance chapters to preview other stories I’d like to purchase. The introduction of the “free” Love Choice stories for all new content—you pay for the good story choices; the free ones are the duds—has meant that I’m only left with sequels and such to read. Look, I’ve purchased a big chunk of the Love365 back catalog, and a lot of those stories are excellent. And the quality has been increasing over time. But since the company isn’t going to throw a bone to paying customers like me and allow us to buy “free” content outright after a certain period, I gotta go. I gave it a shot, but Love Choice didn’t work for me; it ended up feeling more like a scam than I felt comfortable with..Version: 4.9
✓ Love Choice ruined the entire experience for meI’ve been with this company for almost 7 years. I have spent close to probably$1000 over that period of time. I love it. Loved it. I had no problem with the move to love 365 until the dreaded love choice showed up. You don't even get a choice in choosing love choice or just purchasing the story. So far the last 3 new titles have the main stories with love choice. I have tried love choice once and i will not be doing it again, instead of paying $4.99 for a story with CGs and endings. You ending up paying nearly $20 for the exact same experience. Even as a vip subscriber it’s an issue. The 3 free stories aren't even applicable to the love choice which totally defeats me continuing with the subscription so i will not be continuing my subscription from here on out. The stories are beautiful but as a loyal customer i feel ripped off. Its obvious voltage only cares more about making money than it’s customers so i will not be investing anymore of my money in them..Version: 3.9
✓ Recent issuesI absolutely love this game. It’s been a long time favourite. Bought so many stories it’s ridiculous at this point. Although recently I’ve had a major issue when it comes to buying coins. Sometimes when I purchase, say 400 coins, once, it somehow charges it like three times from my account but doesn’t actually give me the coins to begin with. It’s very highly frustrating as I end up spending more than I wanted and not getting anything in return..Version: 3.6
✓ Love Choice doesn’t GIVE you a Choice*Update* I am updating my review in light of the New Series “Masquerade Kiss”. A little back story. Voltage has implemented a “Love Choice” where you get to read a main story for free BUT have to use/buy “hearts” in order to get a Super Happy Ending. And most of the time you will be spending more money because you need hearts and you have to wait a few hours to read the next chapter and in the end you can not read the story anytime you want like if you paid the story already. This app is good but if their series will continue to be these Love Choices they will see a drop in their sales. And they’re ignoring the pleas of their consumers to not have this new way to read their stories. So please Voltage. Address this before you lose a lot of customers! *Old Review* I love this app because of it I have saved so much memory on my phone! Now! For those who can’t get their Token ID or don’t know what it is, Voltage has a schedule were the solo apps will be transferable to the 365 app if you don’t see the button in the news section of the solo app it either isn’t available yet or you missed the deadline and yes there are deadlines of when you can transfer! ✓ Not sure anymore....I have been a paying customer of voltage for an extremely long time, however I am second guessing my loyalty to this app nowadays. The majority of new stories are using hearts instead of the usual coins. These hearts are expensive and hard to get if you are wanting to play without spending money. I was so exited to have all my stories in one place, and have the ability to earn coins, but now everything just feels really greedy. I understand you have to make money for the app to continue to run, but it just feels like I’m being sucked dry. I hope the creators will turn things around, because voltage really does hold a dear place in my heart..Version: 4.0
✓ Lost a bit of its charm but not all is lost!!I've had voltage apps for years before Love 365 happened and I do like the idea but I find the app has lost quite a bit of its charm in the process. There is no back ground music playing whilst using the app (I'm not including playing a story) and all of the themes are gone. The entire color of the apps use to be coordinated with well the theme but there is no option for it to reappear. I would like to make a suggestion. Why not let me earn the themes and BMG by giving me a goal. If I have this many stories by this title I can have them. Or at least give me the option to buy them!! Not to mention the VIP thing is quite a joke unless of course you read 3 New stories a month all year... The VIP room on KBTBB used to be so much better, it offered exclusive pictures and mini stories of your favourite characters. But now your lucky if your favourite title is features it let alone favourite character... And I would also like to pick the character that "talks" when I open the app. There's nothing more annoying than a character you don't like whispering seductive stuff. Let me pick!! Also the new titles : Kings of Paradise, Irrisitable mistakes and Masquerade kiss omg I don't really like them. The face drawings of the guys in Kings of paradise have super dumb thin noses even by anime standards!! But also all of these titles seem to be modernized copies of KBTBB. Which is fine but it would be nice to see some more original type of characters. Perhaps more supernatural scenarios, more complex characters.... Also I'd like to mention as a huuuugge KBTBB fan that I don't appreciate that in the storyline Eisuke sais he wants her woman to be her equal and then later on almost retracts that statement as if it never happened and they never discussed being equal at all ! Stay consistent with all your story information plz writers it's clear that was a mistake. And the typos please fix them!! On the plus side I do really like the manga style type story in black and white that they have come out with in Star Crossed Myth, I hope they decide to expand that idea into more titles. And lastly I HATE THE LOVE CHOICE STORIES!!!! What an awful idea. You have to pay an absurd amount of money just to read the entire story and pick the options you want. It's a shame the first MAIN story for Masquerade kiss is a love choice....NOT EVEN A SPECIAL STORY THE MAIN STORY!!!! Overall I understand that while running a new app that is supposed to encapsulates everything that all of the old apps used to be is hard. But it would be nice to listen to the viewers. ✓ Could have been 5Years ago, I downloaded pretty much all the Voltage apps but never got around to playing. Recently, I was going to start Kissed by the Baddest Bidder or Star-Crossed Myth but found that they no longer worked and upon closer investigation, were removed from the Canadian App Store. I was really disappointed and had to delete them all. Then I found this app. I was so happy I could still read all the stories. But looking at the reviews, I’ve seen that people who played the games before and put money into the games aren’t being compensated or having their data transferred. I know how much money can go into these dating apps so I find that very rude and disrespectful on Voltage Inc’s part. I will use this app but only because I want the stories. ✓ Rip offAs so many others, I'm a long time fan of the games. Not anymore. This new way of progressing through stories is unplayable and way more expencive than what it was before. We're asked to pay for the good ending, instead of trying to guess and see where it takes us. ✓ Why hearts?I have been playing voltage games for years now on different devices. I’ve lost data but still happy due to the fact new stories would come out and intrigue me. But I seriously do not get the whole hearts thing? I have to pay for a story then pay more for the good ending? That’s wrong as hell, if prices on the stories went up I would understand but this whole hearts and coins thing is wrong and should be removed. ✓ Gotten worse over the yearsI used to love this app and the stories but you quickly realize all the stories are the same. The readers proxy is a flat character and hard to identify with a lot of the time and all the love interests have the same 5 personalities. Which would be fine except it makes all the stories pretty much the same. The app has gotten worse over the years. It now feels more crowded and thrown together. The front page is too busy, its not easy to find the story you are looking for. More stories are going to Love Choice which is disappointing. I’d rather pay for a story than play a Love Choice. Love Choice makes have a subscription pointless. Why pay monthly when I still have to pay to get hearts? Same with the VIP room that’s comes with a subscription, all the extras require money on top of the subscription fee. It’s just not worth it..Version: 5.4
✓ Good app for F2P but questionable companyAbout the app itself: I like having all the stories in one place but I miss the special menus and in game music that played in the menus. I wish they could add in some menu music and maybe customize each story’s page some more. If you love otome games then this is worth checking out. In terms of stories, the quality varies from story to story, game, and character. But generally the quality is decent with some real gems in there. There are also now free stories to read each month roughly. And you can earn free coins to purchase stories. So why 3 stars? Well it’s about the company and their practices. I’ve been playing voltage games for years now and a couple of things have happened. The whole transfer from individual apps to love 365 was bad. Fortunately I didn’t miss the transfer dates but if anyone did, they basically lost all the stories they PAID for. Which sucks and is not fair. If you read their terms of use or whatever it’s called you’ll find out that you don’t actually own the stories you buy, nope, they’re kinda like leasing them to you. In fact, They can actually delete your data if you don’t play for a year or something like that. Which also sucks. It’s like paying for a video game and realizing you’re only renting it. The stories aren’t cheap either. Also they introduced a heart system which is annoying. It’s great if you don’t spend any money on this game at all but for anyone who actually likes buying stories, it’s a pain because the cost is much higher. If they ever use this system for main stories (right now it’s only a couple side stories that use hearts which I’m fine with) I’m considering jumping ship. The reason I mention all this is to caution any new players. The game is good itself and worth downloading, but I’d still be wary of the company that makes them and the future business decisions they make..Version: 3.2

The app doesn't determine you’ve already paid for an episode, if you accidentally clicked purchase story it will still charged you for the full amount regardless! Then you ask for your coins back and they will just say, nope this is what happened and it was correct! How so when you paid 400 coins for something thats supposed to be just 200? ✓ Not forthcoming on information and money hungry companyI was subscribed to their emails and though I did get some emails about this app it did not clearly state that you would have to transfer your old apps (that I have already spent money on) to this app BEFORE A CERTAIN DEADLINE. I also don’t get on their Facebook often so I didn’t know until a few days ago. I have lost some of the games (no longer available and were deleted) that I had already paid for and it’s not letting me transfer the ones that I still have that have not yet been deleted. All it says is there is a transfer error. It was not made easy to transfer the apps (there isn’t a clear way to be able to do so on the app for particular apps and even looking at guides online from other players are somewhat convoluted and confusing and some suggest emailing the company for each app) and now would have to re-purchase some as I missed their deadline. If it had been made clear I had to do this way in advance and if it was much easier then maybe I would be more inclined to like this, but it just makes them seem money hungry for the way they went about it. There are other Otome game apps that I can use and will delete all the apps that I have bought from them. I use to love voltage. This is really too bad..Version: 3.4

Every turn I try to log in to transfer my data through it says it cannot be completed. Then I read the small print about it being my responsibility to make sure my purchase history is backed up? This is AFTER they deleted all the original apps that I’d spent about £50 over the years building a collection of to migrate them into this app.i couldn’t get them to open either. I mean what the actual hell is this company? I will never be getting anything from voltage inc again and should have learnt my lesson the first time. ✓ Honestly super disappointed with the new contentI used to love this app bunches and have been playing their titles since 2014. But then they moved everything to one app giving player very little time to transfer stories already bought. And on top of that they’ve implemented a new system called Loves Choice which they market as free. It is not, in case your wondering. These stories actually cost like 20 dollars more than their other main stores because you have to accumulate 150 “hearts” for a happy ending. And there is no option to just pay with coins instead of using this tedious system that makes you not only pay more if you want a happy ending but wait longer, because if you don’t read a new story when it first comes out you have to wait around 6ish hours to read the next part, you also cannot read certain episode you have to read in order, from beginning to end every time. All of their new stories have been Loves Choice and it’s honestly turned me off of this app so much, it feels like they don’t really care about their consumers anymore blatantly marketing something thing as free when it is not. I wish hey would stop with this system and allow player to use coins again, or at least coins instead of Loves Choice. ✓ WHY, VOLTAGE?!I’m certain I made a transfer data account many years ago, but I have no idea what the password would be, because it was so long ago that I made the account. All I wanted to do was read Love Letter from Thief X: Takuto, where I had spent HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS in my teen years working part time for the stories. Now, the original Thief X app no longer works with iPhone X, so I can’t transfer the data the way I used to be able to: through the App Store. It is so frustrating. Any other company would have a way for you to reset your password. Why not Voltage? I dunno, I guess they just want you to give them every cent you make. I used to love this company, now I cannot recommend them, solely for this reason. (In case it is just an issue with the app: Every time I put in my email and the password I’m sure it should have been—given the timeframe I made that account—I get an error that says “Could not transfer data”.).Version: 3.8
✓ Genuinely Upset5 years give or take...I came across Voltage Inc. When I was looking for stories to read after school..and just on my free time.. and well I found stories.. Like Star Crossed Myths, Dreamy Days in West Tokyo, and True Love Sweet lies... all as standalone apps. And I immediately fell in love with those. My mom let me buy pretty much all the stories from one character each story.. So I read them over and over and I reread them for so long. Just recently I was like I really wanna read my old stories again. So I looked everywhere trying to figure out where Voltage Inc. had gone on the App Store and we’ll come to find out the moved all the stories to Love 365.. I never even knew until this year that they were moving everything to this app. When I reached out in hopes for getting a real persons response I get an automatic response basically saying.. “hey you missed your chance your 3 years to late.” I was honestly hoping to at least get my stories back on this app I loved them all.. and I’m genuinely upset.. ✓ I really loved this appFor years, this app has been my saving grace and I loved the humour as well as the story line for most, if not all of the characters. However, as most people have already said, this love choice system has made the app difficult to use and navigate. I wish there was an option where we could chose to buy the ‘love choice’ stories in coins (acknowledging that they would cost more because there are more episodes) if we have them, or hearts if we want to. I also understand that if this app does change the love choice system, the Japanese version would have to do the same. I understand it’s difficult in that regard, but it kind of feels like the audience/consumer is being treated as if they don’t know any better and will go along with whatever comes their way in terms of price and system. If this aspect of the app were to be changed, the app would grant 5 stars in my book. PLEASE NOTE: the stories that are not love choice are still worth the read, and the purchase of the app, there are plenty of options for readers, I just hope that more purchasable stories will be released as often as the love choice ones, and it doesn’t become ‘an outdated system’ where we run out of stories. ✓ Comments suck.I was a fan of the stories apps they had before they combined. This app is good, but is now ruined because of the comment feature. Most people use it properly, but there are a select few who INSIST on saying “1st com” on EVERY STORY they can. It’s incredibly frustrating for those of us who want to know people’s opinions about a story before wasting coins on it. I also wouldn’t mind a warning feature in front of some stories, as sometimes they can be incredibly descriptive regarding sexual encounters. Maybe some people like that, but I’d like a warning at least so I know what I’m getting into..Version: 4.2

When reached out to them in hopes for a resolution, they sent an insincere email response with mostly copied and pasted FAQ explaining you just have to repurchased stories again. ✓ Please fixStories are great! But that’s it. There are so much problems to address! And I feel like the developers either don’t care, or are slacking. 1. I keep on getting a white screen! I don’t know if it’s just me but I have not been able to play since last night. I thought that it could just be maintenance but it’s not! 2. Recently read more reviews about the Monthly Access Pass, and I totally agree with others! Me and my sisters pay every month for it, and there are times when she was too busy to play so she basically just wasted money. 3. Also, as a paying customer (until now) I also empathize with those who lost purchases because of transferring to a new app! Contact voltage and they would just tell you that you missed the deadline! Its stupid and they aren’t treating their customers right! They’re are basically telling us to buy all the stories again and just be cash cows for them! ✓ WonderfulIf you are looking for the typical story app where you wait for time to pass so you can read your story for free and you have to pay to get the outcome you want then this is not the app for you. However, if you are looking for rich storylines, characters to fall in love with, and an app that won’t rob you blind then you’ve come to the right place especially if you are able to put in a bit of money. I just bought my membership recently and, while I’ll admit that the vip room isn’t exciting yet, it was worth it. Three free stories a month as well as the ability to delve a bit deeper into stories so I can really see if I want to spend money on certain storylines really do make it worth it. Did I mention also that the developers let you read certain stories for free over a time period as well even if you don’t have the membership?! It’s great that they don’t make you pay for your choices, just the story, which makes it all worth it in my mind. I wish there was a way to be able to support individual artists and see who writes which story though. Well what are you waiting for? ✓ End of an era (less melodramatic title: they’re freenium now)I’ve actually never written a review for any app for the years I’ve used the app store. This one is actually kind of sad, honestly. I’ve been buying Voltage games since the beginning english releases and have never once regretted buying a game even ones with stories I didn’t necessarily like. I can easily say I’ve sunk upper hundreds and far more into the games and I loved every second of it. I’ve been to every Voltage convention panel in my area and even dragged unsuspecting friends into it. When they first had us move to a single app? Whatever, it’s probably more cost efficient so I can’t fault them. The coins? Ok, I guess? I just can’t find myself getting into LoveChoice. I actually did a little math on it after spending the money - it’s about 17ish bucks for a single story (and you can’t even keep the story? LOL) when it was 4-5 dollars before. Now, I know the LoveChoice stories are longer and are well written but are they 20 dollars nicer? I can buy entire games with three characters and 13 endings with 20 dollars AND keep the story and CGs. I would say that I wouldn’t even mind paying around 8 dollars for the LoveChoice games but I can’t find it in myself to buy any of these games anymore. ✓ New designI’ve been a customer of the apps for years and then love 365. The latest redesign however has left me and well a lot of upset customers. The redesign is chaos, you can’t find your stories by type anymore, you can easily see the different characters. If you go through purchased stories it’s all out of order. It’s horrible to navigate. Major step backwards. This app had been 5/5 for me now it’s like a 0.5 of a star :( very unhappy with this design. I’ve bought over half the stories to this point and now I’m at the stage of leaving it. Very saddening..Version: 3.9
✓ DisappointedVoltage has great games, lovely characters and a great storyline for most. Being a long time voltage fan I’ve supported almost all of the games and were hardly disappointed. However, with the new update where hearts were introduced was where they went downhill. For one to obtain hearts, one needs to purchase it and hearts are the only way that we can ensure to get a good ending. I find that completely ridiculous because we’ve paid for the coins to unlock their main stories already and now they want us to pay extra to get the good ending? Also the fact that the time limit exists really makes you feel detached to the characters and one thing I loved about voltage stories and characters were that everyone had established a connection with the readers and the characters. But with the introduction of a waiting time feature, readers find the flow of everything ruined. I urge Voltage to go back to how things were before the new updates. We do not find any changes boring! ✓ Five Star Stories But For A CostVoltage has always had some of the best otome story lines and characters in my opinion. I’ve been around since before love 365 was launched, and they’re honestly my favorite. The only complain I really have is buying the stories. Stories cost a good amount of coins, and earning a whole story worth of coins for free will take you almost a month. They have a monthly membership, but that only gives you THREE stories a month for free, then the rest of the stories are discounted and that’s for 9$/month. I think it would be better if it were a monthly membership and unlimited access to stories for free every month that you are a member, then that offer would be tempting. But if you’re anything like me it’ll only take a few days to get through three stories, but at least they’re pretty lengthy. ✓ Don’t like the new lookI don’t like how the new set-up looks. It’s less organized and I don’t like how the wish list isn’t organized in groups and instead all lined up with everything else. Same thing with the current reading. Also with current reading, it used to leave all of the stories that were bought and unread in that category, but now it doesn’t work that way and I have to go looking for it when I decide to read it. Last thing, I ALWAYS get a popup that says “Unable to get file. Returning to TOP” and I have to load everything again. This never happened before the new update. ✓ Pay to “win”Okay... the writing is really good. I’ve only gotten a little over half way thru my first story, but it’s super obvious how fantastically talented the story writing crew is. ✓ Love the stories, hate the new formatI’m a long time voltage fan (been playing for about 6 or 7 years), and I have to say I love the newer stories so much. Before it felt like a lot of the basic plots were recycled, especially in epilogues and sequels, but now they seem to be more catered to the characters. I also love that the protagonist has gotten more and more independent over the years. That being said, I don’t like the Love 365 format especially since the most recent update. Since the update, the app has become confusing to navigate and I find myself reaching for it less and less. I like the idea of all of them being on one app, but I hate that I couldn’t figure out a way to take my game info from my other apps and put it into the new app. I’m not sure if there even was a way to do so, and now that the old apps have been officially shut down I can’t even go reread stories. I’ve been wanting to reread some stories since it’s been so long since I started playing, but I don’t want to have to pay for them again. ✓ Used to be an awesome appIt’s been 3 years since I played this and it changed, the login wheel bonus used to be 5 and 10 but now it’s 1 and 2 coins. The missions as well, they used to give about 100 coins at the least. I am glad thought that they gave 400 coins once I log back in after so long. I guess it’s their way of saying welcome back. I’m quite shock that the app is still at 5 star reviews from the extreme changes, because back then you can get good amount of coins. I have no issue right now on paying but comparing it from then to now, this app feels like is failing. I honestly love the stories and what they bring and would suggest it but it’s hard to play now in my opinion since it became a base of paying more to get the content. Also, please don’t turn this into whenever you finish a story an ad plays or else people will be more annoyed. I’ll still enjoy the stories I had in the past but like what? ✓ I miss my old purchased stories :(TL;DR: Love365 doesn’t give you back stories you’ve bought from Voltage Inc. before Love365 was created (and if it does, I have no idea how to get them back). I’ve been a Voltage customer for probably 5 years now, and decided to get Love365 a couple of months ago after seeing my regular apps were disappearing from the App Store. I initially thought “Great, I can get new stories and read ones I’ve previously bought!” Nope. I’m super irritated that despite having a GameCenter account that used to transfer purchases onto different devices so I could always read stories I’ve bought (even on a new device,) I instead lost all of the stories I’ve paid for in the past on Love365. I no longer have access to anything besides what’s occasionally put out for free besides 1 story i saved 400 coins for, and then have to choose whether I get to make a better ending choice and pay with hearts, wait 5 hrs for the next episode, or both. I don’t want everything I’ve previously purchased to go down the drain all because the majority of stories/apps got crammed into one mass library. But the new “Love Choice” nonsense they’ve implemented is a hassle and feels like a shameless cash grab. Look, I came here to get away from this microtransaction garbage that other games are constantly trying to subject players to. I don’t want lies about “Read the whole story for free!!!” while they’re forcing you to pay just to play it normally, punishing you very obviously when you take the non-payment route. Even the cash grabby free games let you play the way you’re supposed to so this just feels really sneaky. (It’s also why I haven’t bothered with NTT Solmare’s Story Jar) I don’t plan to drop a cent into this new model and I hope you don’t either. I’d raise my subscription payments rather than buy hearts to use just so I’m not forced to pick the wrong choice on 80% of the choices that come up during a single “free” route. ✓ Improve pleaseI have been playing Voltage Inc.’s games for years now, and I always loved them, but as you get older, you also want more. All the stories basically have the same concept/characters. The quiet, rude type. The flirty bad boy type, the friendly childhood friend type, etc. while that’s fine, the stories often are the same too. You get different plots, but untimely, you fall in love and maybe kiss. That’s it. Voltage, you actually have A LOT of adult players, and it’s time to start pumping out stories that target the mature audiences. ✓ Transfer data should be longerI think the organization as a whole is easier, but not everyone has the time to keep up with what's going on. I've been able to transfer some of my data, but not all because I've missed deadlines. I think it would have been better to leave the ability to transfer data open, but not keep the coin reward apart of it. It makes sense to give that to those that meet the deadline, but for those that don't, at least we'd still have the data we bought. I literally have almost all the stories from one app and I'm going to lose all of it. It's very upsetting. The last I heard the app was still being improved and fixed. Then I figure out that there are deadlines to transfer your data? Miss it and you lose it? At least present a final opportunity to get our data transfer without the coin reward. At this point, I like the standalone apps better. It was never this difficult. Now I'm constantly checking to see when other apps get released for data transfer so I don't miss those deadlines... ✓ It Went Down the DrainI've been a player of Voltage games for years. I played the original Pirates game, Princess game, all of the first games that were translated. I love Voltage. Their stories are good, love interests are good, and their prices were reasonable for it being $3.99 for a main story. However, after they added love choice, it's gone down the drain. Love choice means this app is not simply pay-to-play anymore, now you have to buy hearts to progress through stories and get the "happy ending". Technically it's free, but you have to wait hours to continue. The first love choice route I played - I'm ashamed to say I ended up spending $20+ to finish the story in one go and to make sure I got all the CGs and a happy ending. Why should anyone have to pay this much money when previously we could pay $3.99 and get everything? Not to mention the new stories really aren't that amazing enough to warrant spending that much money on. Voltage needs a wake up call. On their Facebook page, every post is flooded with users who aren't happy with love choice. I'm disappointed that this is what's happened to a once great company..Version: 4.2

✓ Unable To Transfer Data, Purchases GONEDue to unforseen circumstances, my iphone had to be replaced, once I restored from a backup, everything I had came back. However, upon clicking this app , it said the device ID was already in use and stated I had to uninstall and reinstall the app, causing me to lose literally close to $30 if not more. When I tried transferring options, nothing worked. I even tried multiple devices. The app also hits you with numerous ads upon clicking it, which is more annoying than tempting. You have to spend some amount of $$ to use this and I feel like you’re better off just downloading the singular story game apps than this. I’m so disappointed because I loved the story lines but I feel jipped because unless I had my email or facebook signed in at the time, I can’t get any purchases back. Device ID should have nothing to do with the app, and if even so, the app should just prompt you to create a transfer email as soon as you open it, rather than having it displayed in tiny font at the bottom screen and a million ads hit you instead. ✓ Honestly, not what I expected.To start of. I had no idea of the transfer data and I lost all my stories I had purchased for one of the stories before this app came to be. Second, this app has potential, but the amount of spending that is required for one story and it could only be the main story? Is ridiculous. People have lives outside of this app and shouldn’t have to spend so much. I feel as if episodes shouldn’t cost 5 hearts because when exchanging 100 coins it only gives you 10 hearts which is crazy. It’s unfair and when it comes down to choosing between two choices in the story at specific times that cost hearts, that’s another factor for the hearts issue because it takes a lot which can be 20 hearts. The app honestly needs to improve this otherwise I will not be coming back and I was always a fan and always am because of the stories this app provides, but prices and spendings have to be improved. ✓ Extremely disappointingI have played voltage games for so so long and it was extremely disappointing for me to suddenly decide to re-play “our two bedroom story” only to find out that they took all their stand alone apps and moved it to this app. On top of that, I missed the deadline to transfer my stories so all of my purchases are gone. All of that money is now wasted due to this bad business decision. I can also see that I’m not the only one who was affected by this decision so you can really tell how much voltage cares about its customers..Version: 3.6
✓ Very disappointedCan’t express how disappointing what happened to every individual app is and how many of thousands of people they ripped off, I myself spent hundreds from a bunch of apps and characters stories on them (who knows how many people and how many stories everyone had bought) but when they switched every story to this one app, which does it a disservice each story deserves their own app instead of being cramped into one. But also there’s no way of us to get the stories WEVE PAID FOR onto this one app. Having them cramped makes it so much more confusing and gets rid of the immersion of the individual worlds. Extremely disappointing on so many levels I can go on aswell, coins make the stories more expensive then they’ve would’ve been, and we can’t even read the free stories without having to wait after two. ✓ Transfer Data???As many have stated, I cannot find any sort of “Token ID” and the date for some of these apps being permanently deleted is fast approaching. I don’t want to lose all the $$$ I’ve spent on these games just because they haven’t made it clear or accessible for the data to be transferred! Please don’t figure this out too late. Don’t skip this small detail. I already lost money when they redid the Pirates app (my favorite and one I’ve spent the most time and money on. Finally got it back and now they’re gonna eventually get rid of it again. I understand the convenience, but... If I have to pay AGAIN for everything I’ve bought up till now? ✓ No refunds no transfers??I’ve seen that Voltage are refusing to provide transfers once the window has closed and I think it’s extremely unfair. ✓ Still not happyThe app is busy and painful and I don’t know how you thought this was good for your loyal customers. I am only putting up with this nightmare because my other apps will soon be gone. Not happy. Not a happy customer. I refuse to make more purchases. The new heart system is just a money grab and I didn’t mind being a member when you got to keep your three chosen stories but I believe this is no longer the case and you only have a certain time to read. Now with the move to love choice effectively tripling the price and not letting people keep the story if they miss the campaign period.
