✓ Wish more games were like thisI have been playing zen koi 2 for about six months now. I’m pretty sure I’ve checked in daily almost everyday. It is both relaxing and interesting. The fish are pretty and I try to understand the meanings behind the names which is interesting too. I am working on completing collections. I love the special event fish that are introduced at different times. What I really appreciate the most about this game is that you can play all day if you want and still have lots to do, or you can just check in. The really important thing I love about this game is that the difficulty level has not significantly changed as I played. Maybe I’m a bit of a baby but if a game ramps up and gets very difficult, I will stop playing. I don’t always want to stop but I’m not great at games. I just want to play. So I really like this game because I can continue to enjoy it. I would say it is in my top 5 of all video and phone games. Thank you to landshark!.Version: 2.3.10

I love the dragons probably my favorite part of this game, and the new fish and prey to eat is pawesome! I think the music is purr-fect. The animation on it are so smooth it makes me smile with delight. I lay in my bed and play this a lot, I also love the pond, SO AMAZING you make your own pond! And it shows all my koi! I love the season events, right now I have the sea shell event koi. I am so happy that you ( developers) used the requests people had on Zen Koi and made Zen Koi 2, it made Zen Koi a better game! ✓ Amazing!Amazing game! There was a feature I had asked you could make and it’s in the game!: Sending koi to friends who don’t have the koi in their collection! Although there is one more feature I think would make the game like the best game ever made: Trading! Trading koi with random people would be fun. At the bottom there would be a trade button. You press it then there is a search. You search a koi’s name and it will show people who have it in their inventory or collection. You would put the koi(s) you want to offer for then you put the koi(s) you want to give for whichever koi(s) you want! If the people like the offer they can press accept if not decline! ✓ Words cannot describe the awesomeness of this game.The music is amazing, the gameplay is calming and therapeutic, it’s really satisfying to watch the fish grow and ascend, and of course, the koi are absolutely adorable! I can’t really say much else to be honest. This game is just so good. Despite this, I think it would be even better if you see the family trees of your fish, to see how far you’ve come. It would also be cool if you could see the entire pond, but I understand that it might be a little less calming if you’re not just playing in the moment. ✓ Satisfying and RelaxingI was hesitant to download the app, but when I did, I was pleasantly surprised. Swimming around as a Koi, hatching eggs, chasing food, and transforming into a beautiful Koi Dragon, along with the gentle music, makes this game very unique and relaxing. ✓ Amazing but a couple suggestionsI love this game, the koi are beautiful and it’s great collecting and ascending them, but I think it would be a good idea to be able to change your username. A lot of people including myself would want to change it, but cant, I think it would be a great idea to be able to change it once or twice for pearls, or even some money. And maybe, you should be able to instantly ascend a fish once a day for free, then for a bigger amount of pearls every time you buy it that day, just to speed things up a little bit for those who do not have that much time, and I’d love it if you could consider my suggestions :).Version: 2.3.15

✓ 4.9/5. Recommend to EVERYONEI’m not sure what there is to say about this game I haven’t said my review of the original Zen Koi. Simple, beautiful, fairly intuitive and totally relaxing, this game legitimately helps me manage my anxiety and depression. The colors are gorgeous, the animation is so smooth, and the gameplay is simple but satisfying. The meditative music helps remind me to breathe when I’m stressed, and the koi pond is always a place I can go to calm myself. I don’t know if this was intentional, but it really does work wonders for me, and I take all my hats off to Landshark and Kiat for developing and scoring this game. The only thing I really miss about the original game was the backing track for the main pond, which I have looked for on iTunes without success because I liked it so much (I did purchase Sutato because I liked the sound of it) I would love love love to hear this track put back into the game or onto iTunes. This game is far better than it has any right to be as a freebie. Zen Koi is sure to be a staple on my phone from now on..Version: 2.1.14

✓ Really enjoying this game; one suggestionSo, I’ve really been enjoying this game! I was looking for something relaxing and fun, and this hits the spot! I love having lots of koi, so I had been watching the videos to get extra pearls (yes, I know this is optional) and in a fit of insomnia, was playing at 1:30 am. So far, all the videos had been g rated and about other games, but this time, it looked like it was for a horror movie. Not cool for a relaxing game! ✓ Luvvvvvvvvs itAt first I was’t sure what the game was about and weather or not this was just a waste of time. But once I started playing I was hooked. The graphics are beautiful and the idea of the game is so clever and unique. The only thing that is slightly annoying is that you can’t zoom out and see the entire pond and how big it is. Also there are very few slots for new fish so that is quite restricting but other than that it is a well made and very addictive game. Would definitely recommend 😃😃.Version: 2.0.19

✓ BrilliantI have been playing this game for a while. I sorta went off it a few months ago but I have recently got back into it and it is THE BEST! I love the details of the koi’s, like when they blink, it really just makes the game amazing! Also I love how you can play with your dragons too ( I didn’t learn this until yesterday and I was absolutely delighted!) I asked a question in the support place and the developers got back to me in 2 days! I think that is pretty good! ✓ Cute and relaxing gameThis is one of the nicest game I’ve ever played. So cute and colourful and very addictive. It has a lovely community and everybody is helping each other completing their koi collection. You find other players and lots of good advice in Facebook groups. I would definitely recommend this app. However, I would love to see the future updates can reduce the difficulty to catch the prey whenever the level is up. The reason is if this app is called Zen Koi , it shouldn’t be causing any frustration to catch the prey, I would want to be more in a meditation way while playing and enjoy the soothing, relaxing moments. I don’t like to have to chase (or tap ) the prey then some how it disappeared or enlarge. I want to be simple and in more zen way. ✓ Great game but the loading screen is broken.I found this game several years ago. And have been playing it off and on ever since it’s a fun relaxing game. One you can play for a long while and not have to focus too much on it. But as I downloaded the game this last time the loading screen was super broken. Stuck on “populating the pond” for two full days. Tried it on WiFi and Mobil data but it still wouldn’t load and it was very frustrating. And it only just loaded. I’m worried that if I close and reopen the game it’ll do the same thing. Please fix this as it’s very annoying and probably causes a lot of people to give up on it without playing it. ✓ Won’t Load / DownloadI have played Zen Koi 1 and I thought it was a very relaxing and fun game, but when I saw Zen Koi 2 and how you can play as dragons I was excited. Sadly after I downloaded the game an error pops up on the loading screen, saying “Some files are taking longer to download please press retry to reload the game.” I’ve pressed it many times only to get the same error. I have also tried resetting my wifi, restarting my phone, opening and closing the game, turning the wifi off and back on my phone. Nothing has worked and I really want to play this game. Otherwise, this game and Zen Koi are great and I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a calming and fun game..Version: 2.2.2

Where you can play online seeing other people. There would also be story mode and free play. The story mode has the main story with simple and fun puzzles and an interesting story. The other stories will be from events that can unlocked if you play the game at that time. Rewards can be a special koi after completing the story. The story doesn’t need to be complicated. In free play you do just like this game, feed your fish and ascend it into a playable dragon. There would also have different music you can unlock after completing a story and then you can change it in the settings to that music. Sorry if this is much, these are only ideas to make an even better experience so more people will get to enjoy the Zen koi world❤️ This game is worth to download, it is beautiful and fun. ✓ Best relaxing game everSo I absolutely love zen koi, zen koi is the perfect relaxation game of all time in my opinion. The only problem that I absolutely hated was that I couldn’t use my dragon in the koi pond, that was the part of the game that I really wanted to try. ✓ Love this gameThis is a nice and relaxing game, but it’s also a challenge to complete your collections and exciting getting new patterns. I have two recommendations; On the egg list please put the mates on it. Yes once you click on the egg you can see who the mates were and all the info on it which is really nice; excellent job with that, but if you could see just the mates on the egg list page also then you wouldn’t have to keep opening each egg page to see which ones you have and decide which one you want the currently hatch. Also it would be nice if the pond would change sometimes to different prey and or plants. The different challenges of each prey currently in the sets is a nice touch and I do enjoy that. However, once you’ve already played with multiple koi through to ascension the game can start getting a little boring doing the same series of prey over and over again. Changing it up sometimes would help. I really enjoy the wide variety of koi patterns and colors. After a while that’s what the game really becomes for me. Completing collections and starting new ones, of which you have done an excellent job of. I especially enjoy the different holiday patterns and background pictures you provide. ✓ A Hundred Times Better Than Zen KoiAfter playing Zen Koi 2, I’m still impressed and delighted by all the ways it’s improved on the original app’s design. Everything that made the first Zen Koi slow and tedious are gone: the koi are easier to level up and transform, there’s more variation to the smaller fish, the difficulty of catching those fish increases accordingly so it feels like an actual game, pearls are easier to earn, and I’m not getting jumpscared by ads when I check my gem progress. Used to be, I could transform one koi a day (if I was willing to grind). Now, I can transform several daily and feel like I’m making progress. The personal pond is a cute touch. I’d love more pond decorations, but all in all, the new app compared to the old is like night and day!.Version: 2.3.10

Me and my friend would play all the time when we were smaller it was so fun and It does not really hold up it still kinda does but that is because the game is so repetitive you make the stones from prey, then expand the pond 3 or 4 more times (I think 3), and after you ascend your koi into a dragon and you do that over and over and over, like that is pretty much all you do 2. ✓ Amazing but...Ok so this game is awesome but there are a few things that would make it even better: 1. Please make pearls easier to get!! I know there are a lot of ways to get them, but it’s annoying to watch ads to get ONE pearl out of it. 2. Please lower the prices on things. I know that it’s rude to give away a gift, but what if they gave you the fish by accident, or they gave it to you to give to someone else? Or if you don’t want the fish anymore, or if they want the fish back, or they gave you the wrong one? Please please do my suggestion, it’s really frustrating to not be able to give away a fish just because someone gave it to you. 4. Lastly, could you make it so we could play with our friends online? ✓ Beautiful, relaxing game.I started playing this game a day ago. This is a really fun and addictive game. It helps you relax, and the graphics are amazing. I like collecting the rare koi’s, and turning them into dragons. The game is also easy to learn and play. It may take a few minutes to learn how to eat the some of the fish, like the pufferfish. To eat the pufferfish, you need to sneak up on it from behind. Otherwise it is impossible to get if you tried to eat it while it’s looking at you. Other then that, this is one of the best games that I have ever played. By the way, if anyone wants to be my friend, my nickname is Yasminemon. I send fish as a gift if I have any available. This is a very gratifying, soothing, enjoyable game and I think you (the developers) have done an outstanding job of responding to reviews and making updates. After playing for several months and completing several collections I have one more suggestion — don’t make it so difficult to breed a koi (dragon) needed to complete a collection that it goes from being a challenge to being a real long shot. Repetition is part of the game but that can lead to boredom and frustration. I’ve cloned a few koi now trying to complete a collection and I think I need to take a break! ✓ Not bad, but pointless except relaxationI love this game, but it’s tedious. Relaxing, but tedious. There needs to be more variety rather than repetitive action over and over. I had to look online for info, as FAQ for how to play aren’t there. And the end game is a mystery. I think they just have you wandering forever, with no goal after you get dragons that don’t make sense but are astoundingly beautiful. But it’s insanely relaxing. Without the music, I’m like a rabidly aggressive shark, but with it, I get so relaxed that I’ve fallen asleep. I still don’t know how to handle the dragons or what their purpose is, other than stocking my pond. And if you get something for your pond, like a plant, and it disappears, be advised they will wander around. I had to contact customer support for a missing redemption and they told me to move stuff around and yes, my plant had drifted from its rock to hide. I’d advise fixing that. Overall, this is great for Coronavirus lockdown sanity. But if you want solid accomplishments in a game, no. Meanwhile, I am off to play again so I can sleep..Version: 2.3.10
✓ Fun, relaxing easy gameThis game is so fun and easy. It is repetitive, but no so much that it gets boring. The only things I don’t like are first of all, the outrageous price for koi slots. It would be a lot more relaxing if your eggs could just hatch when they are ready, but no, you must save up for a koi slot. The other thing is, as another reviewer mentioned, I hate how my beautiful koi have to eat slimy, prickly, horrible prey. The last thing is it’s horrible how goofy those stupid dragons look, when I think dragon, I think a beautiful flowy creature, not that silly thing. ✓ Mostly greatI have to give this a four star rating because most of the time it is great. The play is smooth and relaxing with a wide variety of patterns to work through. The only time it isn’t great is when it needs to interface with Facebook. It cannot seem to connect to friends in a timely manner. I have been trying to add a new friend to the gameplay and, after waiting 90 seconds or so for it to load my list of friends it will just spin when I select one to add to my in-game list. The last attempt spun for 12 minutes before I gave up. The Facebook interface gets a 1 as there is always a lengthy delay trying to send a gift fish as well. My “koi” I bought is, according to this game, rare and costs me 25 pearls yet now I’ve mated with another koi that is red my baby koi is just the same as me. One of the first things I noticed was that the art in general was smoother and prettier. Another thing is that the first koi's number of stages before ascension is short, so you get your first dragon and get to experience dragon mode quicker. When looking at the dragons you ascended they move a little NOW and aren't static like in the last game. I can't forget that there is new prey and oh my goodness, they are beautiful! I was a big fan of the first zen koi and I now love the 2nd one too! I love the playable dragons. I especially love that you can name your fish. ✓ Amazing!I love this app so much. I have a disorder called Misophonia and Misokinesia, which causes me to have stuff similar to anxiety attacks. Playing this app after a long hard day is the most relaxing thing ever, it’s like meditation with your eyes open. As relaxing as this app is, when I get to the red pufferfish stage, it starts to bother me a LOT It puffs up every single time! It takes me forever to get one, and usually I need 8 to get both eggs. My first suggestion is that I would like you guys to allow us to request specific Koi from our friends directly in the game. Sometimes your friends send you some koi but you’ve either already ascended them or do not need them. Also, sometimes you only need one koi to complete a pattern and even when you purchase a random koi it does not give you what you actually need. My second suggestion is that we need new preys. ✓ Good game, suggestionsWhen I first got this game, it was very relaxing. Nice game that helps you unwind when you’ve had a tough day. HOWEVER, when I discovered that those little green things that look like parasites can latch onto you and other prey, it was so disgusting for me to look at that I ended up putting all my effort into avoiding them instead of collecting koi. Please make it so in the settings you can stop them(and other “parasites”) from attaching themselves to anything. Also, you should be able to do more stuff with dragons. A few ideas are: have a dragon pond(without prey) where the dragons can swim, and maybe injured koi will swim up to you and you can heal them; a sky that you can look up at and have your dragon draw stars and constellations in it; and maybe a NPC dragon you can go visit and trade stuff for pearls or koi, and every day he or she would have new trades. Sorry about the long review but great game! I would really, really, REALLY appreciate it if something were done about the “parasites” though. Have a great day!.Version: 2.3.10

✓ Really enjoy this game but...As the title suggest, I really love this game a lot. It’s been my go-to game to help me calm down when I’m really worried with something or just can’t relax. That being said, there’s a bit of a weird glitch with the dragons. Some of the dragons will look normal, but the other dragons all have their heads, arms and eyelids separated from their body. It’s a funny glitch but it’s a bit triggering to see that they’re not complete. Is there a chance you developers could fix this? If so, thanks. I wish there was a little more variety with the process of collecting fish each time, but otherwise it’s a nice, solid game. I have an issue with the ads that are being displayed, though. I am playing this game partly to help relax and one of the ads I just got was for a first person shooter game, which started with sniper cross-hairs zeroing in on a man in a marketplace, who then pulled out a gun and held a market-goer hostage at gunpoint. I’m really disappointed that these are the sorts of ads that you all are choosing to display, considering the theme of your game is “zen”. It can be time consuming trying to get all of the koi into dragons so I can open up egg slots. I do find that annoying though.
