✓ App won’t stay openI am due for cochlear implant surgery in 2 weeks and I’m severely hard of hearing in the other ear so I was hoping this app would make communication a bit easier but I can’t get it to stay open long enough to try it. ✓ App can’t hearI’ve tried using this app in several situations in which it has been unsuccessful. 1. At a restaurant- it can’t work through ANY background sounds. 2. At a professional development in which the speaker had a good volume and close by- app didn’t pick up any of the spoken presentation even with a single speaker and no background speaking/noise. The app only works for me in a quiet atmosphere and with a person close by (within a foot or two). Then I don’t need it. ✓ Feels like a prototype - Better Apps Out ThereI like the full screen aspect of this app. However, it feels like a prototype, no instructions, no font type options, font size is limited, and the current solution to clearing the screen is ridiculous. Instructions for punctation in sentences, skipping lines (hint: new paragraph), and improving accuracy would help. As a "Dragon Natuarally Speaking" software on the PC before the iPhone and Siri, I found that some of the "Dragon Speech Recognition" commands work in this app (just like a lot of other siri based apps). Overall, App MyEar feels underdeveloped and clunky. Expected much more for $9.99. It is better than nothing if it opens the lines of communication with the hard of hearing. However, better options are out there, like the "Make It Big" app which is more developed (lacks full text screen) and is free..AppReview00001Version: 1.2

✓ Waste my money !Do not buy this app. It is awful and i am very disappointed since I am deaf I wanted to try this to understand what my son’s teacher was talking about with all this on e-learning so I could make sure he understood what he was supposed to be doing. My phone was close to the computer when the teacher was talking. Plus when my family are eat on table when my son talk and my phone close to my son i look at. ✓ Does not work through zoomI’m deaf and I bought this because I heard good stories about it. I tried to put near my computer as I had a zoom seminar for my class. It did not type well full sentences. I understand that speech to text are not perfect. But I’m expecting at least 80% correctly. This did not even type full sentences. Only one or two words per sentence or every 5 seconds, this means I missed a lot. This means that is not even 50%, maybe 8% take took words from the speech through zoom. I asked my mom to see if there was any video sound issues that probably did not catch speech to text. But no, sound was excellent, I tried different angle to see if the app would grab better words. But none. I only hear it works person to person, which it was ok. But with the COVID-19 going on, everything is through zoom and other video meetings. I really need a captions or transcribe through zoom video and live. This app did not work for me and I would like my refund back.... :( Thank you..AlejGT13Version: 3.1.3
