✓ Update went backwards in functionalityI’ve been using this app for over a year and the latest update has made it worse. On Netflix, for example, I can no longer scroll down through the episodes with the mouse to select the episode you want. Instead, I have to click on an episode I’ve already watched and then click the button that shows other episodes and there I can scroll to find the one I actually wanted to watch in the first place. It’s only a mild inconvenience but I’ve never had this problem with past versions. It also disconnects from the projector every time you close the app or your phone screen goes to sleep, or if you haven’t used it in the last minute. It takes a good 5-10 seconds for the app to open and refresh its connection with the projector which interrupts the flow of presentations. I liked past versions much better. This update has brought the functionality of the app backwards..Version: 3.1.5

✓ I don’t understand the need for this appI recently purchased the Nebula Capsule II for two reasons; watching films at night on my camping trips, and the fact I don’t have a TV in my bedroom. The Connect app will not “connect” to my Capsule II at all. Numerous reinstalling of the app and ensuring the firmware on the Capsule II did not work. It appears the app just replicates the remote on the iPhone screen (I can’t confirm this as I can’t get that far!) Furthermore, and not related to the app at all, I downloaded ITV Hub but it does not work!.Version: 3.2.2
✓ Version 1.25 slow & sluggish with Nebula Capsule IIUsing on iPhone SE. The mouse has a noticeable delay from the previous version. The controller lags as well but not as noticeable in comparison to the mouse. Switching to the keyboard to search for new Apps to install does not register the new text immediately like the previous version. ✓ AWESOME app - Keyboard lacking featuresEdit 1: Grammar mistakes. Controller not Controllor. Move the focus? What focus? Previous : Seriously, love the app. No lags no bugs and no dropouts! The keyboard feature needs a little work though... I find that it’s not as intuitive as the keyboard of the Apple TV remote app or the Amazon Fire TV app when you choose an input cell. You can’t actually select and copy paste and stuff... But overall... GREAT JOB Anker/Nebula!!! Bravo!.Version: 1.1.5

✓ Missing features stillThis app is helpful because it allows use of the projector with more dexterity (in some cases) than the remote that it automatically comes with. That being said, the phone keyboard function only works when I use prime video and nothing else (it doesn’t work with any of the other apps on the projector). Additionally I think it’s missing a “sleep timer” function so you can set it to turn off in 30 minutes or an hour. The projector battery only lasts 4 hours so I would like to have a sleep timer function to have it turn off in case I dose off..Version: 3.3.1

✓ So glad I bought a nebulaChanged to 3 stars from 5 because I was struggling to connect. App took forever only to connect and disconnect constantly. Finally figured out that connecting to Bluetooth speaker broke everything. Deleted the nebula from Bluetooth devices and it worked great again. If a new update resolves this I will update the rating again. You can do way more with the app than the remote so I hope this gets fixed or I won’t be able to use the Bluetooth speaker..Version: 3.1.7

✓ Volume is low on some apps (Netflix) but not othersLet me be clear that the speaker and device itself are excellent. The volume is fantastic. So why is it, that when I use certain apps such as Netflix, the volume is much softer than say...YouTube. When I have company, Netflix is impossibly low. I even purchased external speakers which have made the movie experience even better for most apps, but is still soft on apps like Netflix. Since the built in speaker and external speakers are capable of being extremely loud on many of the streaming services, it should be equalized for all. Please fix this. We’re rural, off grid with phone hot spots. Now with the update, it stupidly requires the remote to be on a WiFi network AND the same as the projector, now NO ONE CAN USE IT. Our WiFi can only handle one device, it took us a year to find the a great system that was perfect. ✓ Doesn’t work in iOS 14The developers of this app have not woken up to the fact that iOS 14 requires apps to get explicit permission to connect to devices on the local network. This app has no option to grant such permission in settings and hence you can’t connect to your projector if you run iOS 14. As a stand-alone app that can’t connect to any projector it’s a pretty useless app and hence should really deserve zero stars. Furthermore, it renders the otherwise impressive hardware fairly useless too since most of the projector’s features are only usable if controlled with an app, so my projector is going back into its box and returning to amazon.
