✓ Horrible game can’t even play don’t waste your timeThe developers somehow got rid of my first review, this game is a waste of space on your phone the developers are some of the laziest people in the App Store they have been told across the base game and the ultimate version that this game is crashing the second you open it and they have had more than ample time and chances to fix it yet with every update they can’t seem to find the effort to actually fix this app but overall it’s not even worth playing, maybe the developers are just lacking in brain cells.The deathdamnationVersion: 1.29.1

✓ Be prepared to spend a lot or be forced to grind for years.Aside from the glaring issues with touch controls (they are clunky and you literally cannot get through the game with them), this game is more about “how long have you played?” Or “how much have you spent?” Rather than how good you are. The big problem is that it totally could be about skill. The mechanics are there. However the game will force you to grind or spend anyway. Have a great run going where you’ve put maneuvered, fought intelligently, obtained great items? Too bad, you’re about to get “ambushed” which is an impossible to beat event unless you have dumped months into runs, or you have spent $50+ on gems. Instead of skill checks the game gives you spending checks like this. It will either be an ambush (the game randomly dumps you into a huge swarm of enemies that you have no chance of beating) or a boss fight with a boss that has so much HP you’ll literally laugh at how unfeasible it is for how soon into the game you encounter it. Seriously, I’ve spent $20 on gems, and have played at least 100 runs and the game won’t allow me passed floor 5. It’s not an issue with rogue like experience either. I regularly play and beat shattered pixel dungeon. This game is simply a very well-disguised cash grab..An Uncommon AuraVersion: 1.35.30

✓ Not worth the timeI have spent some time on this game, I have, but progression is almost IMPOSSIBLE. I spent a few days gathering gems, so I could unlock Necromancer class, only to not be able to level it. Spent an hour trying to level Necromancer, but EXP doesn’t save, so every time I die, I have to restart, not like the Necromancer can be leveled because I am always targeted, and have no defense until I level, which I can’t even do. Why bother grinding for so long only to have something I can’t use?.JayValtLeTrollVersion: 1.35.10

✓ DecentIt’s one of the better mobile rogue-like games but it is fairly flawed. The combat it awkward and hard to understand at first, when you close the app or leave it for 30 mins or so it doesn’t save your progress, and I personally glitched out in the tutorial and had to restart the game which kicked me out of the tutorial and left me confused but with the way it had already been going I don’t think I missed much. Point is, it is a decent game and I have been having fun but it’s kinda hard to get into and awkward to control + you have to finish a run to get the rewards so if you aren’t coming back for a while die on purpose to get the loot..Shev_V3Version: 1.27.3

✓ Just startedI've only been playing the game for a couple of minutes and it seem good so far. However the english in the game is all over the place, miss spelled words, incomplete sentences, and some words are out of order as if yoda is speaking. Something that tripped me up a couple of times is the names of the small health potion and the vial of health, I can see that the small is bigger then the vial but I feel that different words should be used to describe the potions..Notafraid63Version: 1.19.4

✓ Game almost never gives loot, among other things.As the title says, the game does really not reward loot, and when it does, it’s usually trash. The fact that I can go through five levels and only have 1 or 2 items that aren’t even valuable is so annoying. I’m always happy to get a bad weapon or a piece of weak armor because it’s so darn rare. The combat can use work as well. The auto-lock on is both a blessing and a curse. It’s good for attacking on the move, but it often times messes with movement when trying to run away or grab heals in the middle of a heated fight or boss battle. Turning it off is also a blessing/curse for the opposite reasons. A few bugs I noticed is that during the first level, the joystick prevents me from interacting with signs, stairs, alters, etc. by moving in front of the button. The joystick also stops working at random times, leaving my character standing around getting beat. Two stars because I can tell the developer is putting in effort, and I’d love to return to the game and even change my rating if these issues are ever addressed or changed..XXSideouzVersion: 1.34

✓ Ranges classes need workThe point of the game is to die. Then start over - the issue is trying to level lower classes once you have gotten farther in 1 class. That or the range classes need work. Aiming is difficult and if they are supposed to be “glass cannons” then they need an actual cannon. The mage and necro do hardly any damage. BTW not every rogue like has to be dark souls. You can make a good game and not have it beat you up 24/7. This game has a lot of potential but the “it has to be dark souls hard” is getting old. Every game like this follows that path, would be nice for some decent content rather than 2 levels and a boss you have to fight for 24 hours to get to 2 more short levels..RilobrodyVersion: 1.35.30

✓ Update makes the game worse for meBefore anything, I do play this game in both free and Ultimate versions. The new update increase difficulty of the game and that is what I don’t like. I play games for entertainment, not challenge myself because I already have challenges in real life. If the devs think they want to give more challenges of the game, then give players an option to select difficulty, not just impose this kind of take it or leave it rules. Too many times im trying to move and it just does not register. ✓ Not Really A Rogue-likeGrindy. Simply put, you cannot win without either playing tons or paying cash. I realized this wasn’t changing after about 1.5 hr of play time. Clunky controls and slow animations combined with high enemy and projectile speed makes for frustrating gameplay. Not worth the time. ✓ Great concept, poorly constructedMost of the ranged character combat consists of walking backwards and shooting. You just spend 20 minutes, walk into room, get enemy aggro, walk backwards and shoot them. No way/ unexplained way to keep items after death. The goal of rpg is growth of character. This includes items. Starting off every dungeon with nothing and hoping items drop is not what rpg fans like. That is what survival game fans like. I spend an hour playing and spend over 30,000 coins and a few level ups all on the worrior, cannot tell any difference when starting a new dungeon. The game is too difficult. I unlocked the hunter class, cannot even clear out one room. Rats 5 hit kill me. This is like dark souls but dodging doesn't work to actually evade attacks, blocking is so slow after you block a hit and go to attack right after you always get hit again, I am deleting this game..SjibignfbrevajdkcVersion: 1.27.2

✓ Major Bug ReportI love pocket rouges, and have been playing for a while now. I restarted the game to replay it and see all the new features, and I found some major issues. After beating Grim Paladin, the Burial Mound was still not unlocked. The endless version of the Adamantine Garden is available, but somehow, the normal version is not. ✓ Rip off scamHad fun playing it for one day. Decided to buy it for $.99 only to realize the paid version is in Russian only and you have to start the game from scratch. It should have been disclosed on the information page. Decided to buy $.99 worth of in app purchase, and it was never delivered.
