✓ Pretty fun game, but bewareThis is a very simple concept game, simple to play and pretty fun too, but difficult to master. That’s ok, Mario is the same way. I will echo several other reviewers in that the amount of ads is absolutely ridiculous. I understand, free game=ads. I’m ok with that. But there is an ad after every swing or every other swing. It’s very difficult to play for more than a couple minutes because the ads are so overwhelming. The latest update seems to have gotten rid of the 30 second, unskippable ads so that is a step in the right direction. This game needs sound. I can’t imagine why there is no sound. The developers don’t make enough revenue off of the insane number of ads to get the crack of a bat in there? How about glass breaking or a crash or thud when the ball hits something. Simple stuff in the current game development world. Overall it’s a pretty fun game, but I don’t see any real longevity until those ads get under control..Version: 1.5
✓ Good...but!This game is simple and so fun, the bugs got fixed - the main one being that the ball would go out of bounds, however I am getting a bit annoying with the ads. Every turn an ad comes up, that’s a bit obnoxious. Could you make it every 3 or 5 turns? I don’t want to pay money for a game I have nearly completed. :) I hope I can see this change put into place! ✓ Perfect?So I downloaded this game yesterday and have already dedicated 8 solid hours of gameplay (sick with the flu don’t judge me). I found a few bugs too where if you hit the ball towards the barrier walls to the far left or right the ball will drop off the map. I’m currently hitting 39 strength 39 speed so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it but it gets discouraging after a while. As far as the game is concerned I really enjoy it but I think that I have to agree with what a number of people have said. If you really want to increase your distance it’s better to not go for the perfect hit. There are just too many obstructions and I’m not trying to challenge the design of the game because I do enjoy it but I think that it would be better if the developers made more obstacles for everything outside of the perfect line therefore making hitting perfect a much more rewarding experience. If you guys update and make those changes and add things in the perfect lane like ramps, speed boosts, etc. I think it will take this game to the next level..Version: 1.2

✓ Amazing gameI’ve loved this game since I was a kid and revisiting it now it’s still fun to play when bored. One of my favorite parts are the upgrades like bounce that can help you get farther, without being too good or terrible like many other games do. Of course though, every game has its flaws, and this one is no exception, like how sometimes when switching between environments there is a small lip in between that you get caught on, which can set you back pretty far if going full speed. Another thing I noticed is sometimes there are invisible barriers that I bump into which has ruined my run. Altogether though, it’s an amazing game and I recommend it for younger people, and the developer has done well with this game, despite the small flaws which, if you think about it, need to happen to make a game amazing since it can only improve from there..Version: 1.90
✓ Detailed Game Mechanics ReviewThe progression is fantastic. You can upgrade strength, speed, and bounce. Every time you upgrade them your stats improve by 10% and the cost of the next upgrade goes up by 20%. Every 1000 meters gives you a 5% strength boost and a 5% currency boost. Also every 1000 meters up to about 50k meters you will unlock a cosmetic bat upgrade. While you hit your ball around the map you will collect gems on the ground that are used to purchase cosmetic player upgrades. DEVS: (in recent update: thank you so much for increasing the game speed. Unfortunately I think there is a bug in the game. I think it has to do with terrain generation. (Context: I have the iPhone 8 Plus, I closed out all apps on my phone including Baseball Boy, then I reopened baseball boy) I now hit the ball to about 90k meters before it hits the ground. Unfortunately the ground doesn’t load in time and then I’m instantly teleported back to the beginning to hit the ball again. If I purposely botch the hit so as to land around 70k-80k meters the ground catches up and I CAN play. I don’t know if this is by design, but because of this I can not pass 104k meters in the game. I have a video of everything I just explained if needed).Version: 1.5
✓ SuggestionsThese are some suggestions I have for this game: 1. Make it so when you’re hitting a perfect, you can actually break trees, rocks, signs, etc because I don’t get how we can break a whole car but not a tree or a tiny sign 2. Make it so that when you’re hitting the little wall next to the river, it doesn’t just stop you and pull you back, it really makes people, like me, irritated because my high score may be ruined because of that 3. Make it so that the extra bounce whenever you tap your screen whenever the ball hits the ground is more consistent because I’m steady tapping faster than Usain Bolt and it isn’t registering my extra bounce 4. This personally doesn’t exactly effect me much, but the ads should be less consistent, like maybe 1 ad every 3 pitches for the people can enjoy the game more 5. Add like special perks that you can use gems on like 2% more money each run for like 5 gems and the price goes higher and higher each time you buy another 2% 6. ✓ Fun but needs work(Update) with the last edit, I can’t hit the ball as far. Previous big hit was over 5 million. Now I’m down to 1.7 million. At least it doesn’t take 10 minutes now. Lastly, now the next level up is 227,221,500 meters. C’mon man!!! I was on a flight and decided to try this game out. Within a few hours of sporadic playing with a little strategy, I’m now hitting the ball over 5 million meters. I have over 2 billion dollars. Seems like that would be fun, the problem is it takes around 10 minutes for the ball to land. You definitely need to figure out a way to speed that process up. The second problem is that when hitting it that far, it reaches terminal velocity, and falls straight down. That takes most of the 10 minutes. So the screen just flickers, the ball morphs into funny shapes and the distance doesn’t get any further. Little disappointing but still was a great way to kill a few hours. I’d like to continue playing, but don’t have the time to wait for the ball to land..Version: 1.5.4

✓ Hear me outI see a lot of people complaining about ads and as I do agree there are a lot, I think people forget: 1. These games cost money to make 2. Ads are how the developers get paid 3. The game is already free so dealing with ads isn’t that bad when we’re getting a free game. With that, this game is really cool. I like that you can continue after obtaining all of the bats, but I do have some thoughts on improvement: 1. On the curbs on the street and the water, maybe add little incline ramps every so often, that way if you hit the right spot it’ll be a little jump for the ball. Instead of just hitting a wall every single time. 2. Sound would be cool. 3. I’m not sure if this already exists, but with each bat does the quality of the swing/ hit get better? Because it should and there needs to be a stats screen to show that. 4. I think after you win all the bats there needs to be more attention to the player other than continuously gaining distance. It’s enjoyable, yes. But there needs to be more incentive to keep going further. I think that would make this game very popular very very quickly. 5. Maybe the cars could also move? I think that may increase the probability of hitting something AND missing something giving the game a more reasonable difficulty but also making it more of a luck/ timing thing. I’m sure they’ll fix the glitch as soon as possible as the game is actually unplayable and that’s obviously not what they want. Regarding the ads, yes, they are too annoying but I think that’s sort of the point... pay the 2.99 to get rid of them? they are running a business at the end of the day and either need the ad money or the fee to remove them to keep making games and to pay their overheads. ✓ Here's a glitch to get infinite coinsWait until you get coins from offline earnings and then turn off your internet and then open your notifications by sliding down then go back to the game and you will trick the game by thinking you waited for a couple of hours or something. ✓ Used to be funUsed to be a really fun game to play to pass the time. Since the new updates though it has been really buggy and now that I’m over 1,400,000m I wonder what the point is really, as with every hit (even poorly timed hits) I tend to gain another couple of hundred thousand meters (if I can be bothered waiting to watch the ball land). ✓ Epic made frustratingFirstly.. this game has lots of adds. It’s really fun though. Updater; my hope is that you home the issues around once you watch the add. Many times; once you select to agree to watch an add for the bonus whatever; after the add (of course) it freezes the screen.. possibly phone for 15-45 seconds. Once un-frozen, it wants to act like everything is okay; except for the epic amount of coins you coulda had if it worked. Once exited after frozen; then re-opened. It’s as though that epic run you just had; didn’t happen. This is disappointing. I love short games that pass time here and there during everyday life. I don’t even mind the adds bc I don’t always have money to support the game creators. I hope this game hits it big so you all have the time to navigate these hinges. ✓ Great, with 2 big negativesGreat time waster. Dropped down from a 5 to a 4 for 2 key reasons, 1 of which can easily be avoided, the other not so much. First negative: the adds. If the add free version was 99 cents or really $1.99 it would probably be worth it, but imo not worth it at $2.99 and literally there is an add after every turn. It gets annoying after a while. Can’t we get even 4 or 5 turns straight without an add, is that too much to ask for?? Number 2: having your total where your ball lands and not where it first hit, even where if it first hit was 800 meters further down. Not really noticeable at the beginning in about the first 4,000 Meyers or so, but there is NOTHING more frustrating then having a perfect swing when you’ve cleared 10,000 meters have that “perfect” swing hit a building, car, or lamp post and bounce backwards 500 to 800 meters. If the ball bounces backwards you should get forward progress, maybe something to consider for the next update..Version: 1.1
✓ Great little game but...It’s surprisingly addictive for such a simple game but you’re definitely going to want to play it with airplane mode on! The ads every 2 turns gets very annoying very quickly and I don’t think £2.99 is reasonable for what is such a simple game. If it was £0.99 I would happily pay it. That having been said, when you are playing and not watching an ad, it’s fantastic fun. I would love to see the ability to control the ball in the air added. It would be great if you could swipe on the screen to change the direction of the ball as currently it is just hit it and hope it misses all the buildings. ✓ Baseball Boy!What an amazing game, all in one free package. The gaming itself is addictive and there are lots of accessories you can get with in-game money and challenges to complete if you ever get bored, which isn’t likely. This has been all I can do this week and I bet there are others who feel the same. I recommend this highly for anyone the age of 11-13. With any free game, there are it’s negatives. This game is no exception. The map: I think that the map should be wider as I am constantly hitting the wall with every hit. Also the landscape fails to load further out to the side. Apart from these issues the gameplay is flawless and I can tell a decent amount of effort has been put into it..Version: 1.7.1
✓ Perfect hitsIn the power bar your rewarded with a perfect hit if you tap the screen at a pacific time to get a perfect hit. When you progress very far in the game, when you get a perfect hit the ball rolls down the middle of the road, when your tapping to make the ball go further sometimes it hits the signs above then you back track. I think the game will be much better if you make it that you go through the signs and lamp posts when you get a perfect hit, just like how you go through the cars. ✓ Great gameSuch a fun game to play. You can sit and play for hours at a time. A few suggestions though, I’ve updated the game today and got the 12 new bats, but I’ve already got them and it’s only been an hour or so. A few side missions would give you something else to do whilst waiting for another update, such as, hit x1 window, hit x2 trees in one hit etc.... also as had been mentioned by others, smashing windows on buildings/cars would add a little something extra to the game. When you’re on the higher bats, it can get boring waiting for the ball to make ya first landing, an option to fast forward to the first bounce would be great! ✓ Fun, addictive, simpleA game I’ve been playing for ages now and I really do enjoy it, I liked the update where a perfect hit causes the ball to go on fire and destroy cars, but I seem to have more trouble with when it says perfect hit, the ball travels the the left or right never in the centre, and I’ve got perfect so many times, this causes the run to be cut short because of a lamppost or signs, really think for the start of the game the poles are necessary but after you get to the point where your hitting over 5000 m every hit they shouldn’t be in the land, I get it’s just a repeat of land and it is infinite but the poles and signs really annoy me, and the amount of ads after every two goes, that’s why I’ve rated 4.Version: 1.5.4
✓ A ton of fun with a caveatSo Ive been playing this game for a bit now and I must admit it is a blast to play. Super easy and intuitive to learn and use, pick it up and put it down with ease. Perfect for someone like me who does not want to have to invest chunks of time playing if I don’t want to or can’t at the moment. So far, I do love the game. Ive not played long, but what I have has been a blast. What I don’t love is that between rounds, you win and claim coins to be used for upgraded items. They offer you 2 choices, take the coins or double your reward for watching a video. Cool, I’m down with that. The rub is that I don’t always want to double my reward, so I click just take coins. The issue I’m finding is that 90% of the time I’m being force fed an ad anyway without any reward. If I wanted to watch an ad, I would have chosen double my reward. I didn’t, so don’t force me to watch one. And I am choosing double my reward most of the time as it helps me build up quickly, so I’m not trying to avoid the ads. I just don’t want an ad between almost EVERY round as most ads are AS LONG as a round. That’s too high of a price to play this game. It shouldn’t be almost a 50/50 split between game and ads, thats way way too much. I don’t normally review games, but I do like this game and hope something can be done about all the ads so I can really fully enjoy this game..Version: 1.7.1
✓ Nice game could use some updatesI like the game. It’s easy to learn and difficulty increases over time. Some things worth noting for improvements: Certain times when the ball is hit it never lands and you end up back at the beginning with nothing to show for it. Seems like a bug with rendering the landscape in time. On my iPhone 6 once I had gotten further in the game (100k or so ::I’m guessing for the next issue I’ll describe after this one) the game became extremely laggy. Maybe a memory issue of some sort? It seems to get cleared up if you take the app out of the background and wait a while (seems odd but taking it out of the background and immediately reopening didn’t seem to fix the lag.) this lagginess makes it extremely difficult to place the arrow in the middle of the angle meter. I recently upgraded to an iPhone X and figured I’d install the game here (couldn’t restore the new phone from backup because the old phone was on a beta iOS version) when I opened the app I expected to see my distance (retrieved from my Game Center score?) as well as achievements. I’m not certain how other unlocked items are stored but if the information is available via Game Center it would be great to carry into the new phone. Other data would probably need to be stored on a server. (Just a thought and probably not that likely to happen since restoring from backup would likely have worked fine if I didn’t jump to a beta iOS on my old phone). All in all nice work..Version: 1.7.1
✓ Game speed and content suggestionI have been playing this game for a while and I love it! I just have a few complaints. The first is how easy it is to get to the end. I always seem to run out of content within the first one or two sessions of each new update. Maybe add more content or add missions that need to be completed for each bat outside of just hitting the distance. The other thing I would say is having a game speed option. I’m very far in the game and I still want to hit it huge distances, but I also like to see the journey that the ball goes on. My speed is incredibly high and the journey of the ball just flies by and I can barely keep up with my extra bounces or where the ball even is. I would suggest having an option to slow it down. Some people may like the speed and fast play can be helpful when time is a factor, but for me that is not always the case and I’m sure others will agree. But otherwise a great game that I would wholeheartedly recommend to others, and already have!.Version: 1.5

✓ Passes the timeI’m not a gaming person, but when I saw the add for this on my instagram feed, I had to check it out. Saw it was free, so thought to myself, got nothing to loose so go on. It’s nice and easy to use, graphics are funky and most importantly of all you just have the urge to beat your last distance. ✓ It’s got potential for sure.Full disclosure I spent the 2.99 to get rid of the ads as they are very overwhelming. As far as gameplay. I saw one person write you have to hit it dead center to progress. True to an extent. At first yes but after awhile from playing and offline collection, you can progress just fine. I almost find it more beneficial to hit more to the side as you can avoid buildings, curbs, lights, etc. I read another review and literally spot on with my thoughts. I wish there was sound to this game it needs it. There also needs to be some extras in here as far as glass breaking when hitting cars and house windows. I also feel that there needs to be some added help for players. There is far too much to knock a ball down rather than help the ball travel further. The hills and extra tap bounces only do so much. Even then you have to hit it just right and hope you don’t hit another object. One thing that bothers me is I can hit it “perfect” and dead center it still ends up a hair off and drills a car or light post and kills the hit all together. ✓ Ideas to help the gameI think that u need to lower down on the ads, maybe every say 7 hits u can have a SHORT ad. Also I think u could have some more different types of challenges to keep people interested in ur game and want to keep on playing. U have challenges with distance but try to make up some others with coins collected, or gems collected, or a matter of lakes u past those sort of things to keep everyone interested. ✓ Good...one annoying issueI will start off by saying I actually spent the couple of bucks for ad free, so this won’t be an ad complaining post. The biggest issue I’ve had after playing this game for a few days is that you are essentially punished for getting perfect swings later on. Eventually, you will hit the ball so far that even a dead center swing will drift left or right slightly. Unfortunately, with the game design, 95% of the obstacles that will ruin your run (except for the water wall) are right in the middle. Since this is right where perfect swings go, I have almost never gotten a max distance with a perfect swing since it will inevitably hit a building or a tree and bounce backwards. If there was a mechanic to make the perfect ball destroy trees and buildings at certain speeds (like the cars early on) this problem would be much better, but as it stands you’re better off shooting for slight left/right so you end up in the grass and hills..Version: 1.7.1
✓ Too many adsI love this game and it is very addictive, so I play it a lot, but the reason I am only on level 7, is because every time I try to fire the ball, an ad comes up on my phone screen. And after about 3 ads, I get angry and go off the game, also, I had a go on my friends phone and on the higher levels when the world disappears, I think it should show going through all of space, you know, just to keep it cool. ✓ A good, simple game that’s fun!Originally I got ticked off with this game due to the incessant adverts after every two goes! But, recognising it is fun to play, I paid the £2.99 for no adverts and haven’t regretted it once. My thinking was “I like the game and play it so why not pay the 2.99 to the guys who created it”! There are four attributes you can pay to increase from the coins you earn after every hit - with the distance the ball travels determining how much you earn. But - nice touch here - as you play the game you’re occasionally invited to watch an advert in exchange for a power up! This invite seems to be after every 20 or so hits. The power up that is upgraded cycles through each time as well. It’s an effective way of upgrading at no cost to you bar an ad running for 30 seconds. A little tip for you - when the ball lands and bounces, if you tap it on screen it gets a boost of power and bounces further. You can do this three times each hit as well! Suggestion to improve the game - if a ball hits a window, how about showing the window breaking and you earn bonus coins. Sounds would be good too plus an option to buy coins? Overall - good game, well worth the £2.99 to turn off the ads!.Version: 1.0.2

And they only last about 20 or 30 seconds. If you can't spend 30 seconds of your life looking at the TV or something other than your phone or tablet, then you didn't ought to be playing these games. 🙈 And if you really can't stand the adverts, I have a button on my device, I'm not sure if anyone else has this amazing piece of technology, but it gives you this free optional extra with regards to the internet, it says on it, 'Turn off Wi-Fi' 🤔 Anyway, it's 5 stars from me. ☺️ 👌.Version: 1.3
✓ I Hate That I Love ItFirst of all, (and this is a huge pet peeve of mine, so prepare yourself for the rant), stop complaining about ads in a free app! Do you honestly expect developers to crank out free entertainment for you out of the goodness of their hearts? If you’re sick of the ads, just shut up and pay the minimum fee of $3 to make them magically disappear. If you’re honestly outraged that ads are popping up in this game, then you’re really going to be disappointed when you move out of your parents’ house and realize that the world doesn’t owe you anything. As for my feelings about the game... I downloaded this because I wanted a game that I didn’t have to really focus on, but would still help me relax. I was hooked from the first moment I started playing, and I don’t know why. The scenery is repetitive, and you would think this would be one of the many apps that grows old quickly, but not for me. I’m now on level 80-something and I still have to force myself to close it and go to bed. I did purchase the “remove ads” option, so I can reassure those of you who are worried about this - you will not miss out on the chance to watch ads in order to double your money or receive free upgrades. The choice is yours whether to accept, and no ad will play unless you choose to watch it. I’m impressed that you’ve managed to keep my attention with such a dinky little game, (no offense intended). ✓ Great, addictive game... too easy??I love this game and it gets a little addictive when you get so close to hitting that perfect shot! However, originally it seemed as though it would take forever to unlock all the bats, then the game was updated and now it’s too easy. I’ve unlocked all the different bat types and now don’t really have a reason to play any more :/ It’s not much fun playing a game with no reward of ‘winning’. I know it’s easier said than done but I think this game needs more items to collect or maybe a new level to keep players interested for longer. But I still love this game and hope to see more updates in the future. I’ve recommended it to several people and will continue to do so :).Version: 1.2
✓ Good game but needs improvementsI want to start this review by telling you i love the game 🔥🔥🔥. Its very fun and addicting, cant wait to see how much made when i wasn't playing, how far my next strength upgrade will make be hit the ball, etc. But i will say i agree with previous review, if i have the option of collect or double my coins by watching a ad. You hitting collect should by pass the ad, otherwise eliminate collect button all together give me the money i won automatically ( because its not like if i don’t hit collect i wont get the money) and just have double my coins as the only option. Also when i reached a strength level of about 30 or so whenever i hit the ball and it went up in the air my screen turns blue i guess illustrating he sky but i think thats dumb why would i want a blue screen to stare at. I would make it a downward facing view and still show the buildings and ground and stuff the while time the ball is in the air. ✓ Baseball BoyI would give this game a 4 out of 5 because when I am rolling in the ground I would randomly bounce backwards and not be able to get my high score or beat the level, so you need to fix that but other than that I think it’s the best game I’ve ever played. 👌🏻🙌🏻.Version: 1.90

✓ Good but not great!Good time waster if you have nothing better to do it’s fun but when the ball rolls along the ground it seems to hit an invisible wall knocking it all the way back it’s incredibly frustrating especially when you’re about to reach the distance you need to level up or you get passed it and bam invisible wall knocks you back over the target distance and you miss out on a level up fix this asap!!!.Version: 1.8.12

✓ Drill GameOk, good evening. I have been playing this game for about a week and have already surpassed both end of the bats challenge. I have all the bats and I feel as though it should be more. Also, maybe add a way to customize the ball, the batter and the environment to make the game even more entertaining. I think the windows should break when a ball hits it and the tree should just catch the ball when the two come into contact. You don’t really have to hit the ball perfect, sometimes it’s where you hit the ball. Another thing, what does the the colors around the ball after being hit perfect represent? Maybe add a special bonus skill in complement of the crucial extra bounces that you actually do get to make the game even more competitive. Why not add a challenge of up to maybe ten players, where players can add each other and escalate the competition of trying to hit the ball farther? This would allow players to compete for bonus cash, even more things to unlock, and bragging rights. This would go great being that I have gotten people to play and we all race to get to the end... Ps, there really shouldn’t be an end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Version: 1.4
✓ Invisible wallsThe game is good except for it seems like there’s invisible walls throughout. When the ball is rolling, even quite fast, it’s like it just hits a wall and bounces back. I don’t know whether it’s just a bug or a mistake but it takes a lot of distance from me sometimes.Version: 1.90

✓ Fun gameUpdated Review: As of May 2, 2018, the issues listed below in my cons list has been resolved. Thank you developers. I've been playing a while and I've finished all the levels and unlocked all the characters and bats. I'm sure that more levels and characters will be added later, but the only issue that remains is there is absolutely no incentive to hit a perfect ball. After the first few levels, every perfect ball I've hit bounces backwards after hitting something in the neighborhood. Perfect balls do not travel as far as imperfect hits. Unless imperfect hits is the purpose of the game. April 22 Review: Pros: -No pop up ads. Just an ad banner along the bottom that do not interfere with game. -You have the option to double your winnings by watching 30 sec video. With a little patience you can build up your winnings to purchase upgrades. -You earn winnings while offline. And you have the option to double your offline winnings by watching a 30 sec video. -The game is NOT pay-to-play like other games. Everything you need to up upgrade and progress thru the game can be done by playing. The only fee you can pay is to remove ads which is just a nonintrusive banner at the bottom. Cons: -The game freezes frequently after watching a video and does not pay out winnings after watching videos. -The game does not upgrade after watching a Free Upgrade video..Version: 1.6.1

✓ Better than I expected, but the ads are obnoxious.So...to start off, I absolutely love this game. It’s simple and addictive, and I find myself spending 5 to 10 to 15 to 20 minutes at a time just trying to hit the ball farther and farther. I play this while sitting on the toilet. I play this on my breaks at work. I love this game so much, I’d like to support it with a purchase...which brings me to the only problem that I’ve encountered...the ads are frequent and annoying. I’ve actually turned the WiFi and cell data off so I can play this game without the ads. I know it’s wrong because the ads help the creators, but I can’t even pay them to not have ads. The “buy premium” button in the settings, that takes all the ads away, doesn’t work. I tap it and tap it and it does nothing. ✓ Used to be greatThis game used to be my favourite game and I spent hours on it... ever since the update yesterday all I see when I hit the ball now is a green or black screen and my ball stops in the air... I’m on level 1200 ish give or take a couple... so I’m hitting the ball obviously a long way and now not being able to bounce the ball along or even see the buildings or anything has took the fun completely away from this game....
