✓ Great game, very buggyThere are so many bugs in this game — characters disappear and reappear, dialogues that I know are supposed to be sequential are interrupted by random cards, I’ve been killed by the faith militant even though my seven-pointed star was at the middle level, I’ll make peace with the Lannisters and they’ll reappear in my diplomacy menu over and over anyway, I’ll finish Gentry’s chapter but Melisandre will continue to tell me about Arya’s game reminding her of something — on and on. If it could run a bit more smoothly, it would be an amazing addition to Reigns — the idea of having different locations is awesome, and the many achievements are fun to discover..InfractaVersion: 1.09

The only flaw is that the game is a bit robotic and doesn’t have very fluid motions. ✓ Great game, but one flawGreat game and probably my favorite of the Reigns series, but it has one major flaw that is not in the other games of the series. The major flaw is that progress is not saved if you switch apps or step away from the game. Please fix or add! Update 10/24: The developer responded to my review and it is super awesome that it seems like they are responding to every concern! Apparently the issue of suspended progress was supposed to be fixed, but I am still having issues. I started my progress and then immediately went to the home screen(I did not close the app). After about 30 minutes, I would launch the app and my progress was reset to the last death. Maybe I’m doing something wrong?? The words don’t matter; you will grind up your grandmother for dog meat if it moves the right resource in the right direction. If one gets full or empty, you die. It shows circles over resources that will be affected by each choice, but not whether it will go up or down, and it is inconsistent. It only makes sense about 3/4 of the time. Attacking might raise or lower your “sword” resource. Closing the brothels costs coin. You might think, then, that opening them would make coin, but you would be wrong. That costs coin, too. There are no instructions whatsoever. Accepting a beverage or refusing it might do god-knows what to your resources for god-knows-what reasons. You basically have to keep the levels from reaching too high or low. You learn this from repetition of how they change from the decisions you made. I enjoyed it for a bit but find the mechanics rather difficult and storyline often repeats. ✓ Fix the problemsThis is fun, and I really enjoy the game of thrones element to it. It’s got a lot of clever storylines which play well to the characters. However, firstly some issues - when you go to the wall the wall just stays at the top indefinitely and blocks out the icons so you can’t see how you’re doing, and then you die because you can’t make decisions properly. And even when I went back to kings landing the wall was still up there blocking the icons. Also when you travel anywhere even not to the wall it says ‘you’ve passed winterfell’ which just doesn’t make sense if eg you’re going to casterly rock. Also it is kind of sold as a ‘rewritten story’ of game of thrones, but I think I’d enjoy it more if each storyline you do could have more than one ruler, ie when your ruler dies someone else takes over, like in the show. Instead it just restarts and you can play as someone else. Bit disappoint as it means the stories are short and not as interesting as I’d expected. Also I’m really unclear on when in the series this is supposed to be set?? Like what in the show has happened, what hasn’t, and why have each of these people ended up on the throne when they are?? There aren’t really any instructions and the game to me is not that appealing. With the first game in this series it was ridiculous that the kings would die over and over the exact same way. ✓ Two words, Gendry’s WinterI’m so close to completing this game and gendry’s is the only winter I have left to survive. However the devs have gone f’d it up as there is one way to win this winter, winning the game with Arya (to which I made the right inputs around 6 times). But I haven’t won her trust apparently... HOW??? I’ve looked at every online guide and they all say the exact same thing, for me to do it and it not to work is absolutely infuriating considering how much work I’ve put into this game. ✓ Interesting game but lack of hud on decisions and what the outcomes would be spoils itI like the concept and how the game is never the same each play through. Excellent characters and story lore in the play through. The lack of a way to determine if the decision is negative and no warnings in popularity drains the fun as well as having to worry about factions being too popular also drains the fun from it. Why would factions that like you a ton plan a way to get rid of you when they benefit from your reign? ✓ Good but not good enoughOverall the game is well done and well fleshed out, and certainly has its moments of fun... that’s about all good that can be said however, firstly, the game is barely an improvement from previous ‘Reigns’ games, other then the re-skin of making it GOT, with such a big name to cover the game it needs content to back it up, sub 50 endings with a total of 650ish cards is cheap, due to this the game gets boring fast, certainly when a new character is found, ending unlocked or new situation come across, the game is very fun... for about 5 minutes... every discovery has little impact and soon leads back into the same monotonous, “who would’ve guessed I would get that card, maybe I’ll pick a different option, oh nope it has the same outcome”. The game has some serious potential but the overall sluggish movement of story until you get a couple minutes of enjoyment in the game frankly wouldn’t hold me even if it was free, and it’s not..Aido SpicyVersion: 1.08

If you aren’t invested in the Game of Thrones series it can be very confusing. Simply allowing players to click on character cards in the menu and getting a short description of who they are and who they are related to would be great. Same with when new locations or factions are introduced. This would make it much more playable to a broader audience who may not be familiar with the source material. OVERALL IMPRESSIONS———————— I enjoyed the original Reigns game and this one is fun too. However, as someone who knows nothing about GoT it can be frustrating at times. It’s still playable... but not sure I can recommend it for non-GoT fans unless you are willing to look things up or resign yourself to the fact that half the time you’ll have no idea who is who and what is going on..SzeiVersion: 1.09

✓ A card game rogue-likeI really want to love this game. It captivates the feel of being an actually character in “A Song of Ice and Fire”. The writing is great and it does feel like you are actually sitting on the Iron Throne and trying to rule the seven kingdoms. After playing this game for a few days I started to understand some of nuances and I was able to better make decisions. It’s fun to role-play but it is also fun to go crazy and make random decisions. My only issue is that it is pretty random just like a rogue-like. I appreciate that making similar decisions in certain situations sometimes doesn’t always play out the same way ( might even get you killed ) but sometimes it’s just too random. I was ruling as Lord Snow and my play through was pretty balanced. I fought a war, made safe travel to Winterfell... then I caught an unexpected fever and died. Maybe something I did caused this but I don’t know... I will continue to play this because it is fun seeing different scenarios but it’s only cause I like feeling miserable after failing in new and surprising ways..LingiveyVersion: 1.08

I want to know what the next part of the game is and it’s not fair that I paid real money and I don’t even get to finish? ✓ Great game, but...I’m not sure if this is something anyone else has encountered, but there’s a glitch in the game when I play as Gendry. I have all 7 other endings, but when I get to Arya’s game I can’t beat it. The last line of the 16 cards doesn’t load in properly and only gives 3 cards instead of 4, so even though I select the correct card (I’ve checked half a dozen walkthroughs to be sure) it doesn’t register as correct and give me the win. This means I can’t send her on her mission and can’t get what I need to beat the Walkers with him. Anyone know how to fix this?.Raerox101Version: 1.09

✓ I wish I was able to try the game before purchaseI really enjoy Game of Thrones but I was unfamiliar with the Reign series of games before this. I thought this was a card-based rogue-like game. The rogue-like part is there kinda but the card portion isn’t like deck building or hand management type card games. I placed aside my misconception of the game and tried to give it a chance and enjoy the game for what it is. Unfortunately, I can’t. It’s too simplistic for my tastes. Swipe left or right is pretty much it. I might have been able to overlook this simple gameplay, if it at least had a gripping storyline to it but I don’t think it does.
