✓ OK game, greedy developersI’ve been a fan of these games for a while as they’re good point and click adventure games, but I thought it was a pretty sleazy move to have you pay $4 for the game, then try to charge you more money for hints and even more money for fast travel. I have no problem paying for games but don’t try to nickel and dime people after they do.FHJayVersion: 1.1

✓ Quite goodQuite a good little adventure with various puzzles. A couple of puzzles I found no clue for... did I miss something? One I solved by trying all binary numbers, and the pipe one I had to look up on a walkthrough as there were many possible solutions, but only a few were accepted. Was I meant to just keep guessing? I never did find the clues. Always tap everywhere on every screen so as not to miss something you weren’t looking for which isn’t obviously something to tap on. The IAP (in the paid for version) buys you fast travel and hints (pay extra for each) which was strange... I don’t remember that from previous games from these people and it’s a bit off-putting when you’ve paid for the game already..Hell's KittnVersion: 1.2

✓ Disappointing!While I’ve really enjoyed previous Syntaxity games, I found this one a little boring. The puzzles are quite easy and some concepts are re-used from other games. Maybe it’s time to work on some new ideas. I’ll still try out future games but I doubt I’ll ever replay this one. I also hit a bug: the screen went black and the game closed while working on the tower door puzzle (the one with 2 concentric circles of numbers)..Rider 13Version: 1.1

✓ Not a fan of IAP in paid appIt’s an ok game. Graphics are good, story is alright, puzzles are mixed bag from easy to obscure. I own all the Lone Wolf games and have generally really liked them. This one adds in-app-purchases for hints and fast travel mode, which have been included in the past for the price of admission. I finished without buying either, but got tired of the “buy now” pop-ups in a game I paid for. Probably my last game from this company..Mikey_1988Version: 1.1

✓ Charging EXTRA within in a PAID game - really?I cannot believe that I just paid approximately $6.00 for this game (not cheap) and the developer has the audacity to ask for an ADDITIONAL $1.39 for hints, PLUS AN ADDITIONAL $1.39 to allow fast travel between scenes within the game. That brings the total up to almost $9.00 Canadian. This is just price gouging by the developer. I have purchased every one of this developer’s games to date, but this kind of greedy, gouging behaviour has just cost the developer a customer. Out of principle, I will never purchase another of this developer’s games unless the practice of charging extra (within a paid game) stops. The game itself is not bad, but nothing exceptional for the price (especially given the price being charged to make the game fully functional with hints and fast travel). ✓ Unacceptable greed.I have played every game by this developer. This, however, will be the last. When you can buy a game like The Room and Rusty Lake games for the same price and get everything you need inside that price why would you spend money inside this game for something like clues and fast travel. The greed you have just displayed is unfathomable. You have really alienated your fan base. I will never buy another game from you again. I hope that extra money was worth losing loyal customers. ✓ Can’t solve a puzzle with certain devicesTo get a clue you have to use a magnet to pull out something. The area that you sweep the magnet over must be based off a larger area than what is shown for phones or in my case a mini-iPad. Meaning there is nothing to find in the area that shows up on the screen on my phone or mini-iPad. So I can’t move on. I restarted the game and was able to finish the game..TouboboduVersion: 2.0

Objects wouldn’t let me move them then once I watched the video they let me. ✓ Fun but too shortI was really looking forward to the release of this game, having enjoyed all the other games by this developer. The games seemed to be getting longer and were definitely worth the money. I was able to finish this game far too quickly for a $4.99 purchase. I had hoped this game was going to last longer, especially since I still had a lot of inventory left. I was really disappointed that I found Bigfoot that soon. ✓ Absurd micro transactionsI’ve been a longtime fan. Have played every game from this studio. With this newest installment the developers are charging an in app purchase in order to unlock fast travel!!!!!! A feature that has previously been free in past installments!!!!! No fast traveling makes gameplay tedious but there is no way I’m paying an extra dollar for fast travel in a game that I’ve already paid several dollars for. Hints are also behind a paywall, which doesn’t really affect me other than being annoyed that the company is squeezing you for every cent you’ve got. I won’t be buying from this developer studio again. A real shame because the titles up until this point have been entertaining. So unfortunate when a company is so greedy that they nickel and dime you for basic features when you’ve already paid a purchase price for the app..Twilighttown!Version: 1.1

✓ Not happy with in-app chargesI've enjoyed all the games in this series so far but, having paid for the game, was shocked to be asked for more money for hints, and then more again for fast movement between scenes. This was included in the price of the earlier games. If the game was free then this would be justified but since it's not these hidden charges are sneeky. ✓ Terrible clitchI have played all the other Syntaxcity games and never had a problem before this one. I only just gotten into this game and the boathouse puzzle instantly froze my Ipad. ✓ Again, Micro transactions...Really?I’m with the folks who were longtime fans of Lone Wolf. I’ve bought every game they’ve put out and asked in an email for fast travel prior to the enchanter. They replied and said they were working on it and it appeared in the next title. Here, we’ve taken several steps in reverse. Charging extra for features found in previous titles is pretty sad. Well, new company name with a new emphasis on making money. I’m all for that, but let’s do it up front, on the level. ✓ Change in name = change in quality/fairnessHave loved how the Lone Wolf games kept evolving, getting better, more clever, adding features. I had been checking to see when the new game was available from them. I am so disappointed that features that the other games had are now “in app purchases”. I was happy to pay for the game, like the others, but not to be charged even more for what was included before. Still beautiful graphics but not nearly as fun as the last one. Too bad they sold out to who knows, people more greedy - they should charge more so people know how much a full featured version really costs. If you want the same features as the last game be prepared to pay more for a lesser quality game. Had recommended these to friends, I’ll be sure to tell them they might not want to get this one. I don’t know if I’ll get anymore from them in the future. They’re definitely not the same type of company as Lone Wolf was - a real shame..Kn2Version: 1.1
