✓ Crashing FrustrationI completely enjoy Cotton Games and Dads Monster House is no exception. However I cannot exit the room with the key box puzzle. When ever I enter the elevator the game shuts down. This has also happened in various other areas of the game but I have been able to continue from where it shut down upon reopening the game. ✓ Uncreative and uninspiredSolve easy “puzzles” where you find obvious puzzle answers on walls and tediously run to the nearby puzzles to “solve” them by just recreating the pictures that you just saw. ✓ Right level of difficulty but graphic soundsI’ve played all cotton games and enjoy them all. This one might be my least favourite however, still a good game though. Puzzles were challenging but not impossible. The sound effects though. They are so graphic, I had to play on mute the whole time. So much squelching. ✓ TediousThis game, which is beautifully drawn, is quite tedious. Every puzzle requires you to go to a different area of the house, sometimes two different areas, to solve it. The problem is the game does not have a “jump to” feature so you will spend most of your time traveling very slowly back-and-forth. ✓ NO MORE THAN OKAYQuite slow and frustrating. Could be a 4 / 5 star with: - In-game hints; - Ability to skip between scenes instead of plodding through every room; - Optional music and sounds so user can listen to their own audio while playing; - Simpler clues that don’t require translation of symbols or a much neater in-game note-taking system so the user can convert the symbols to find a solution. ✓ Dreadful. No tutorial. Have no idea what to do?Really disappointed as great looking game. I am a few minutes in and no idea what to do? I have managed to light gas under pot of water but that’s it.
