✓ No way to know it’s working or why to switch to ProI’ve been using for months with Basic plan. Here’s my observations: I have no way of knowing this is doing anything. I still get spam calls. I see no calls in my phone’s history or the app’s history of calls blocked or identified by this app as spam. When I reverse lookup a number (even with paid version), I don’t get any more information than my phone showed me (City, State). It seems like this is just a call blocker app operating separately from built-in call blocker. Switched to Pro, and nothing is visibly different. Same UI, same amount of ads, no difference in reverse searches and still no proof the app has blocked anything..Version: 1.1.9

✓ Blocks Calls I Need To ReceiveI hate this app! My review was longer and specific, before the developer responded and said my review was, “false.” I guess one’s personal experience isn’t considered valid. So, the app didn’t work for me as advertised. Yep, checked all relevant settings and the issue persisted. What’s irksome about the developer’s response, other than it being insulting and condescending, was that not a single suggestion as to how I might fix the issues was included in the response. By all means, do give the app a try and have your own experience. Just know it seems the developer is more interested in arguing with users’ experience than fixing the app or making suggestions..Version: 1.1.7

✓ ShadySo the app works great the first couple weeks until it doesn’t. They program it to start pressuring you to pay for premium. I caught on after I realized the tap/update feature would just freeze. After going into isettings-phone-call blocking identification; I noticed the app was gone! Which explains why o started getting spam calls again. It randomly appears/ reappears in the call block. Suspiciously after I started getting pop ups within the app to go premium. The app says you can subscribe to the pro version and block a range of phone numbers but it only allows you to block out 40,000 numbers at a time. So if I wanted to block out 718 I would have to enter 250 ranges manually. Also, I entered several of my recent Robo call numbers and looked them up in their database and the app thinks that they are real people. I am going to cancel my subscription..Version: 1.3.1

✓ Just me?It seems like I’m the only one doing the feedback when I get a malicious call. Also, why only show the cellular provider detail, we need the actual name/company name of the call. It’s not helpful knowing it’s Verizon or whomever calling, we need the name. Also, like Robocall blocker, why not include a playback version of the voice Mail they leave? Again though, almost ever call I get (in the dozens a week), I’m the one adding the feedback, it’s rare when someone else has reported the number. What up? UPDATE: still only shows the prover and not the actual caller. That’s useless. Also, it still seems as though I’m the only one adding feedback on the malicious caller! Then there are the ad’s. Yeah I get that you have to make money but do the ad’s have to be so intrusive????? Come on, make this app more usable, block more numbers, give caller detail, and less intrusive ad’s. ✓ UselessI have had this installed for several months. It has so far only given me heads up if one call. I have continued to get scammers calling and there is a pretty serious one going around where they sound all official and say they are going to verify your employment and give you a case number etc and if you don’t respond and pay they will be filing a civil action against you. This is a scam. I have reported two of the numbers that have called me so far and I have blocked them and out the numbers in the app. This is well known on the net yet they keep calling with new numbers. They all work that way you block one scammer they call you on a different number. I can imagine it’s hard for an app to keep up. However I would have expected more than 1 lousy warning that I was getting a robo call in all of the months I have had it installed. No need to have it take up space.Version: 1.1.3

I had hopes for this app. Maybe others have caught and blocked some numbers that the spammers were planning to call me from next? But the calls have NOT decreased AT ALL, and it takes longer to block and report a number through this app than it does in the Phone function. So far, I have no indication that this app has blocked ANY robocalls, since I still get several per day and there’s no record of the calls bounced from my phone. Also, the invitation to upgrade pops up when I try to do other things, and the only way to get to a different screen (other than subscribing) is force-quitting and restarting the app. Really!? ✓ Legitimate and legally allowed calls being blockedI am disturbed that people that don’t want spam are reporting credit card support numbers and medical support lines as spam causing the inability of their customers to contact them or they contact their customers since card holders and medical companies who insure the individual being called have the legal rights to be able to contact their clients. Credit card holders, banks, credit unions, insurance, medical and other businesses who’s customer have accounts with have the legal rights to call or email the account holders. When the call phone companies implemented the automatic call rejection by law it blocked some of these numbers as well and it cause me to not get a very important call. Lazy people who don’t want to be called can easily program their own phone to block all but calls from their own contact list. (White listing is to most effective means to block unwanted calls) However spammers who can mirror your phone number or the phone number of your contact list should be blocked and prosecuted. Talking to a technician representative from my cell phone company I got this poorly implemented government mandated auto spam blocking solution removed from my cell phones. They stated they had to implement their internally developed (without doing enough testing for performance) and it was so effective it blocked legitimate phone calls by the data mandated by the federal government..Version: 1.2.3

✓ A scam for victims of scamsI have been receiving none stop calls and texts from some scammers. They have told me they won’t stop and I have tried to block groups of numbers but it didn’t do anything. No change, the harassment has intensified and now I am questioning if this is getting worse because I dared to try to use an app to make it stop. ✓ 🤔 ???Ok the app was ok except for the notification to update the list It should do that on it’s own not tell me I need to open it then click 🤔 ??? It showed over 500,000 numbers til this last click then it went back to “0” ??? ✓ Feature Request: Range ImportOverall, sure I’m still getting robocalls but this app has decreased that amount. A great perk to this app is the ability to block number ranges which is an awesome feature, however you’re limited to a static amount of numbers within that range each time you want to add one. This makes blocking an entire prefix (345-xxx-xxxx) painfully cumbersome. For me, my 3-star would gladly be a 5 if there was a way to perform a massive one-time import of ranges and then remove the few I still want to receive. As a novice programmer myself, I can comprehend the resources required to allow this and the potential hazard it could create for the user, all while still offering the app for free. ✓ Was a great appWhen I first downloaded the app I was getting a lot of spam calls. And it helped a lot then I update the app one day and all of a sudden I am just a basic user and they want me to pay for a premium service monthly if I was to get the same thing I was getting for free before while the app service was getting bigger. It does block the ones that I want blocked, however, if a new person tries to call you, it blocks them also until you either call them or add them to your contact list. Missed an important interview because of this, in other words I don’t think it should block new calls or people just because they aren’t in your contacts or because you haven’t called them first. It should only block the ones that are on their list and if a nuisance call comes in let us report it and have it added to the block list.
