✓ Player EnergyHonestly, this is one of the best manager games I’ve played on mobile. Even though I haven’t played for long, a big issue that I face is the Players Energy. I know that I can give NRG drinks to my players to help them get more energy, but there’s a chance that I run out of them. I think a change to this would be good. ✓ Almost thereIts good I enjoyed NSS and is why I tried this. It is obvious that the game is in its early stages which is fine. There are a few things that would make the game smoother like in NSS. When choosing a card at the end of a game you feel almost obliged to choose the NRG card and this makes it very hard to improve the team and bring in new players cheaply. The cards for the staff seem useless and that there is no point in them in the game. The in game gameplay is perfect. I would suggest more than anything the packs on offer for real life currency be available for the in game currency, this would allow players to progress further and faster with the obvious set back of trading the use of coins for upgrading facilities with the coins for packs. So I’ve redownloaded this game heaps of times because I keep getting stuck, I can’t continue on with games because my players energy is low & I have no way to regenerate their energy without NRG cans but I never have any. ✓ Great gameThis game is the antidote to all the ‘ultimate team’ games around where the career mode is dead. Engaging and loads of fun. Devs: Two things to work on: 1. Making crosses a more meaningful part of the game and 2. The player ratings (Goals, assists) for the league stats are not tracking across a season but seem to be resetting every match or two (small bug). ✓ Well DoneThis game is wonderful. I’ve clocked in plenty of time in it. Started off in L2 of English league, now I’m about to hit the Prem. The game is very well balanced, and considering it’s fairly new, I can’t wait to see what else gets Implemented. Just a few suggestions: - Goalkeeper ability cards need to be more frequent or separate on their own. It’s tough to develop them - A rare squad training session in which everyone (or all in a certain position (FW, CEN, DEF)) gets to upgrade a particular attribute - More commentary variety. The one where the goalkeeper parries the shot shouldn’t only result in the opposition team scoring. - Give players a bit more time when they lose the call to get it from their opponents - Make the physio more viable. At this point it almost makes more sense to not use him at all cause too often he gives low tier -1 match cards There really isn’t too much I can think of, but I’m sure you will improve the game in coming updates!.Version: 0.9.1

✓ I have always been a fan of new star but...I love literally everything about this game, however three things should be improved. One of them is the free kicks, they are either great scoring opportunities or pointless play resets. What I mean by that is that you can either directly shoot it or you are forced to pass it to someone next to you, there are no real set piece plays in the game. And I think this is due to the next problem. Why can’t you lob the ball? Pls pls add that with the passes just lets select the player and give us an option to hit the ball in a certain way or just two passing options. At least when the player is in a certain position, give the high cross option pls. Finally, the tutorial is kind of sloppy and I don’t feel like it fully introduces the functions of the games. What I mean by that is that there is a lot of managerial goals set by your bosses that I don’t really know how to achieve because the tutorial doesn’t really cover those aspects. ✓ Best Football/Soccer game out there. TIPS!Very engaging, in depth enough to keep you involved and thinking, while also casual enough to relax and just play some footy. Something I didn’t find out until many many hours in, you can purchase players from other leagues. If you search, you can only see players available in your league, but if you’re playing in a cup match like the UCL or UEL, and you go into your LEAGUE menu, you can see teams in your group stage or in your fixture list. When you tap on those teams you can tap on any one of their players and attempt to buy them. You can also look at The Who are the top scorers or who has the most assists and purchase those players as well. There are a lot of hidden gems on other teams in other leagues for a good price, you just have to look..Version: 1.3.1
✓ DEVELOPERS PLEASE READI love this game. I played New Star Soccer before and haven’t played it ever since this game came out since it’s so addicting. Everything was going great until a recent update starting glitching out the game. Sometime it’ll say one player failed to pass to another, which means they dislike each other. But not it says that one player failed to pass to themselves! It cause you to get scored on and makes no sense. Also sometimes when you make substitutions It won’t let you make the subs you want and keep people in it and only works if I put a person in the wrong position. The game got messed up from some update because this never came up when it first came out. The idea is good and the game is great, but I think the latest update messed some things up..Version: 0.9.1

✓ Fun addictive gameTo get any pleasure out of this game you will need to get rid of the ads as this sometimes crashes the game. You can play this without getting any additional funds, but it will be very difficult. I purchased 1m funds after disappointing first season in the conference league. I was wasn’t get very far as other reviews will point out how difficult it getting the balance right with players fitness, skill and happiness, whilst managing your funds. You’ll find that you always get a few players who play nearly every match, even score or assist and they will still be unhappy or you don’t have enough money to renew their contract. I’m in 8th season now in the premier league. I’ve not had to purchase anymore addition funds. I didn’t go mad and buy all the best players and max out on staff facilities. I built it up in time spending at least 250k in my second season which was enough to win the league. I now actually earn that in two games in the premier league. I still don’t have the best team. It’s a good champions league team doing quite well in the premier league. So I just hope this shows that it is worth getting extra funds as it does increase your enjoyment of the game. You can get an extra shot in a game by watching an advert. I tend not to bother as it risks crashing the game, but fortunately everything is saved up until this does happen..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Great game needs some changesIts a really fun football manager game where you control the team unlike other new star games such as nss and nsc however there are a few bugs such as the energy doesn’t go back up at all making my team practically useless in the next game leading me to losing games 6-2 also I don’t think I get enough energy cards for my lower league team I think 4 cards would be a better number. The last bug is when you don’t have any team talk cards and the assistant boss is telling me to use one trying to make me spend money and the same with nrg cards. ✓ Solid Game (A few problemsAll around this a really fun game but there is a couple big problems with the game that ruin it for me 1) Squad energy Energy on players seem to go down way too much and you don’t get enough energy cans to get the energy back up so you have to watch 5-9 ads to boost your teams energy and then you lose all that energy on training cards. In order for you to play constant you need to buy energy drinks or watch around 20 mins worth of ads every season 2)League 2 and up is extremely difficult. I understand it would get harder going up a division but I went from losing only 3 games first season to losing my first 9 games next season with an all 30+ team with a few 40+ It seems impossible to ever keep a clean sheet even when you defend 3)Contracts and player development Contracts are way to short and over complicated. The lowest offer is 40 games and the max is 80 I believe. I can cope with that but why does it have to be games not years instead for example: Instead of 40 games it should be 1 year up to 3 years. The player development is kinda relating back to the energy since it’s hard to find a right balance between choosing energy or training cards and even if you choose training your player can lose all of his energy from the training card.Version: 1.3.1
✓ Great game, people saying it’s “Pay to play” are wrongThis is a great game. The right amount of difficulty balancing energy, player happiness whilst also achieving objectives! Do not understand people saying they need to pay to grow? I am currently season 5 and have not paid anything. Invest in youth so that you can make money from selling them, lower work rates when winning a match, learn how to score from difficult angles, don’t renew contracts until you can afford it. An easy way is to rarely if never choose the scout option or healing card at the end of the match, as you can wait out injuries and don’t need the scout if you focus instead on youth. PLAY YOUR BEST TEAM IN CUP MATCHES. Cup matches give you massive bonuses for progressing so winning these are vital! Great game, but im a little worried i may finish my first career too early as there are not too many upgrades left for my facilities! Do not pay to play this game, that would halve the time you invest into it and take away the fun of actually building a team, instead you would pay real money for an already amazing team?.Version: 0.9.1

✓ Update the stats pageI’ve been playing this game for years and have been a supporter for the game for years as well. The game overall is solid and it’s one of the best manager games out there. My ONLY problem with this game is that before you could see the stats of the league leaders depending on what league your in. But now they update the stats every round, which to be honest takes away from the game ALOT. Mostly because your playing a new round almost every two to three games so your players who have 30 goals and 30 assist every season don’t even come up on the stats leader board. It’s updated so it just takes out the realism of the game. If you guys could update that little bug then 10/10. However it’s hard managing a bunch of players who all feel like they should get regular football regardless of their skill level. Maybe adding player roles and a loan system could help? Also, this may be asking too much but there needs to be more done for the defense. Whenever the other team gets a chance, your defense, regardless of skill level, is very likely to concede and there’s nothing you can do about it. Still a very immersive experience..Version: 1.3.1
✓ New Star ManagerI am really enjoying this game and as far as I’m concerned many others are too. The graphics have been improved a lot since the last one (New Star Soccer) and I really like that addition. However, I believe an instant reply when you score would be highly beneficial because seeing a goal twice can be rewarding knowing you may have scored a good goal, and it can also improve your game in real life, whether it’s a mobile game or a goal you have seen on TV. Furthermore, I believe taking ads out is better then having them in as this could disrupt your gameplay. Also I really like the addition of the team-talk and the player attribute cards -dribbling cards etc. What I also like is the fact that you can build a fitness centre etc. and that just makes the game a whole lot more realistic for those young people who want to be football managers so they will have to know that you will need a fitness centre and to know that at such a tender age can be beneficial. Despite what I have said about what would make the game better, there are also a lot of things which are very good about the game. I hope you have found my feedback constructive and agree with what I have said. This game is really good and (in a good way) addictive. Being a veteran from the championship manager original titles until now I have tried many many games of this genre and am impressed by this title. I loved the new star soccer and especially cricket games but ended due to almost having to iap just to continue playing. I have made two purchases with this games already and would have been happier if it wasn’t extortionate value for money. I’m starting to feel with my lack of cards on regular basis then the team I’ve built and league position are now at risk because I feel the balance of care intake is not correct. ✓ Good but could be GreatLove the idea of this game and the mechanics, style and definitely multiple save slots (rare for a mobile game). What would make this game great (5 * ) would be if it could run smoother it is quite laggy and while it is a good game it can be quite frustrating having to press something multiple times because I don’t know if it has registered. Apart from being faster and smoother the game is great only possible comment is add a customisable manager. This would make the game top notch and it is something big console games lack (mostly fifa) this in my opinion would put you above the rest of the football manager games for mobile. ✓ Soo closeI love the gameplay, it’s really fun and addicting. Nothing beats the feeling of a well orchestrated plan coming together for a win. The biggest thing I wish was that you could select more than end of game reward. It would truly enhance the gameplay a remarkable amount. The opportunity cost of not selecting either the skills coach or fitness coach is ridiculous. And the only reason I can see for having the scout is so that you can complete board missions. The other thing that really pisses me off is that when you scout or bring up a rookie, while they are good players, they are never for a position I care about. ✓ Fun game but needed improvementsNew Star Manager has clearly been one of the best soccer games on the App Store, but there are definitely room for improvements. Firstly, it would be very nice if there was a way to save your data and use it later when you delete the game. This happened to me when I had a decent team and then when I deleted and installed it back again, everything is gone. Secondly, I think the game progress is way too slow. It would be nice if the game would have only play each team once in the league(Half a season) rather than playing them twice(Full season). And thirdly, it would be better if you add shooting, passing, crossing and other attributes into the game rather just being something called technique. Because this just made my centre-back invincible when he is shooting. If you added the attributes into the game, can you also make an option so choose your set piece taker. Lastly, it would be nice to have daily tasks and a free pack everyday( it doesn’t have to be the pack where you get black or gold players. Maybe some bronze players or some skill cards). ✓ Incredibly detailed game for a free mobile appThis game has a surprising amount of depth with lots of things to think about. As well as choosing your players and formation for the match, you have to manage training needs, energy, injuries and egos, as well as keeping your fans, sponsors and the board happy too. I really like how you start off as a new manager in charge of a team which is in trouble and have to turn fortunes around. Furthermore the best thing about the game is although you are a team manager you get to take control of the match for key moments of that game. Although the game encourages you to spend real money it’s not necessary to do so and is more challenging/satisfying anyway I reckon. I support the developer by watching the occasional ads! ✓ Great game but.....I’ve not been able to stop playing NSM for days, really addictive and easy to get the hang of the controls. Almost as enjoyable to play as NSS. Despite this there is one massive problem I’ve found, it may be my own fault but the players are always complaining about not having their skills improved to reach their potential. In return this decreases their happiness and when it comes to renewing their contract they decline. In order to develop the players skills you need more energy cans as developing a skill uses up a lot. Perhaps being given energy cans every game would help managers develop their squad to keep players happy. All in all a really good game but definitely room for improvement..Version: 0.8.3
✓ Great game!!!! Tho controls can be confusingThis game is one of the best manager games I have seen in a long time, many options and things to do so it keeps you busy!! However the two floors are that you have to pay real money to get card packs and you can’t buy energy like you can in new star soccer player, and the other problem is the controls used for running, as you pull back to run when with the ball, but if you lose it, you have to then pull forwards which isn’t the end of the world, but can cost you a match if you forget the controls are flipped, just make running the same control whether you have the ball or not as it will make the game easier to play!!! I won L1 but it’s not there. - can’t seem to find a way to change ticket prices even though you get bonus from achievements. - why isn’t there a way to change team name and kit. - change or add hire Assistant, at least have a couple of different profiles at the beginning to choose from. ✓ Should be 5 Stars but minor problemI love this game and I have had a lot of fun with it for the past week or so but I just have one minor problem. The European leagues as qualification has a minor problem. I got knocked out in the playoff (the last round) round of the champions league qualifiers and I was expecting so Europa League Football but instead I had no Europe an games. I hope the can fix it where if you get knocked out in the 2nd round qualifying of champions league then you go to the 3rd round qualifying of Europa League instead of going cause that’s how it works in real life. You also can’t transfer list players which is kind another small, but important piece. Plus if your a really bad team and you face a really good team, I understand they will Score a lot but they also score every free kick which is pretty unrealistic. ✓ Amazing but crashes too oftenThis game is incredible. It is very challenging but it would only be boring if it wasn’t. The development side of things is realistic and the gameplay is very fun. The hardest part is to keep all the staff and players happy at all times, but you can use managerial meetings to address concerns of both players and staff. You get more money from winning competitions, being promoted, upgrading your club store, developing and selling youth players and upgrading the stadium capacity. The press also pay you for entertaining games. The only downside is the game crashes quite often, and if this is during a game, when you log back on you have to restart the game. I was in a semi final of the FA cup and was winning 3-1, the game crashed and I lost 2-1 when I played again :( other than that, it is an addictive and amazing game!.Version: 1.0.1

✓ World BeaterThis one’s got me jumping for goal posts. Been playing new star soccer for 8 years on and off and i keep coming back because it’s such a great game. New star manager has taken the concept to a whole nother level and it’s been done brilliantly. ✓ Amazing to playHaving played NSS for the longest time it takes some getting used to when it comes to the mechanics of this game in particular with the dribbling, shooting, passing and all those good stuff. ✓ Pretty good but needs workI think the developers need to realize this is a soccer game not rugby, why is it when the opposition get the ball they automatically kick it off field? When you are in the oppositions half of the field the game should still be playable not automatically ending play and making you use a restart. Allow the purchase of cards to be used by in game money! Also it seems that some of the games are literally scripted, it doesn’t matter how many goals you score or how many times you replay the game, you will not win that game as in the last dying seconds of the game even if you are 7-0 up, all of a sudden the opposition comes back at a ridiculous rate and you lose anyway, like you never had a chance, Needs plenty of improvement.Version: 1.0.1

✓ Good but things need changing slightlyThree things that I’d like to advise to fix/change. 1. The assistant manager in game, he is annoying as it stops the game. Either make it optional as after a few seasons you know the things he’s telling you. Also, when say I change to 100% energy he pops up saying that I should try and improve my work rate. Kinda annoying 2. Clean sheets, this is kinda annoying when in a board objective. It is too hard in comparison, you have no control whatsoever in my game. Very irritating as it makes you change your focus of winning to trying to play out any result with a clean sheet. Ruins the focus of the game really 3. Staff boosts, I don’t have the chance to upgrade my staff enough, it should be an option at the end of the game for me, if not make it easier to obtain, with it being 5 staff it makes it less likely to get the one you want if you need a specific one and the growth of the staff is quite slow anyway. Another thing that could be done is to have a good market to buy the staff from, I have 6-7 youth staff at 35-44 when my youth coach is 47. Very annoying as I can’t get to 50 even with it being my priority all season, if I have the bux to buy the good coach or train him then why can’t I have the option to Apart from these things that I’d love to see it’s an amazing game, well made and is very addictive, fun and enjoyable!.Version: 0.8.0

In order to improve this game, I would make a few changes: 1. Have the ability to customise your club name, logo and kit 2. Have a sponsor for the name of your stadium (just like in real life) 3. Make press conferences revolve more around your teams form, player morale, recent signings etc, instead of "pressure questions" 4. I'm not sure why but every player seems to be from England, even players that are in for example the Italian league Overall, this game is simply fantastic like all the other New Star games. ✓ Has potentialThis would be a great game but there needs to be a few things worked out first. Firstly, when you’re chasing the ball you have to use your finger on the player you want to use but this often means covering up the portion of the screen that you want to move in to essentially making you blind to whatever is happening in that portion of the field. Secondly, sometimes this game feels very scripted, like it knows you have an objective to accomplish so the difficultly gets turned way up to make it near impossible. Third, the energy levels on players need to be reworked so that players regain at least some energy between games. Without this you’re constantly needing to focus on energy cans and, because of that, you can barely focus on player development. ✓ ExcellentFor a free game, this is the stand out football manager game on any platform. I am totally hooked. I have seen a lot of negative feedback for this game but if you can balance the on pitch tactics with the managerial decisions you need to make off the pitch and have a firm strategy, you will be a success. Fact. Haven’t spent a penny, the ads aren’t even that bad most you can skip after 5-10 seconds you get used to them after a while. And when you think you have completed the game after back to back to back trebles with everything and everyone maxed out... New star offers a curveball and allows you to change country/club and continue your career elsewhere. ✓ Excellent game, could be improvedFirst off I’d like to say that this game is ingenious and creative, and I’m surprised at how much fun it is. I’ve played new star soccer before but this is amazing. However, I have a few ideas that could improve the game. There should be events where you have to defend and clear the ball, where the opposing side has possession and you have to stop them. Also, there could be an event where you’re the goalkeeper and you have to save the ball or be punished with a goal. Some other things: passing back behind the half or passing to the goalie should not stop the play, possibly make a way to cancel passes, maybe find a way to be able to obtain more energy cards when selecting that option, and have player packs that you can buy with in-game currency. However now with new teams (expansions, rebrands, etc), dissolved teams (i.e. Bury), and new competitions (UECL) needs to be implemented in this game. ✓ Great amount of depth, simple, and addictiveI'm not one to leave reviews for apps but I have been playing this game nonstop for weeks if not months at this point! This is an incredibly well-thought game, comparable to the likes of Football Manager or career mode in FIFA. The gameplay is simple yet engaging, I never feel like it's a drag to play through the games. Since it's a mobile game, the pick-up-and-play aspect is really convenient which is why I think I've been so immersed in this app. The only complaint I have is the aggressive marketing of in-app purchase. However, I've had this app since July and I've never bought in-game currency and I'm doing just fine. I will admit I've watched a lot of ads because of this app. Ads are everywhere, after a game you can expect to see an ad. However, I rarely play more than one game at a time, so realistically it's not too annoying. By watching an ad you can increase your players' energy. Usually I hate this in mobile games, but I watch a bunch of ads anyway because I wanna support the creators. I just play them in the background while I listen to music. The first thing is, is that players are awfully expensive. I’d want to buy all these good players but I would never get enough income, with my fans not being angry. For example, being able to change your jersey colour. It would also be good being able to go overseas and manage a different team. It’s like the cards are the only things which develop players suggesting that all week they don’t actually train just wait for cards to drop on them? ✓ Could be ImprovedHuge fan of the original NSS and now manager too. The games are fantastic. However in this particular installment there are some serious improvements that should be made. What I loved about NSS was that it was not a money grab like other games in the App Store, however manager feels more like one. You truly have to grind to make any kind of money to buy upgrades for facilities and better players, but you simply cannot grind because the players on your squad are completely gassed after 1-2 matches. The whole energy aspect of this new game is dreadful. This leads you to either buy player packs or NRG with real money. No thank you. If there was an option to buy player packs with the in-game currency you earn from playing it would be a little better but for some reason this just isn’t an option. ✓ AmazingHaving played the football version which is amazing and the cricket version which didn’t interest me. This lives up to expectations. The gameplay is good. Players are good. The details put into the game such as sponsors, scouts, facilities make the game way more interesting. To make the game better, I would suggest adding a timer on player energy bars, I know you get energy drinks often but you do eventually run out and then it’s just boring cause you have nearly all your team tired(I always change my team in every game so I don’t play the same player every game unless their stamina is great) maybe a timer like 1 hour for each bar, so you play the game for longer but not for a short time, if you know what I mean. So when you wake up. Your your team is ready to play in the morning. Another thing i would suggest is making players a tiny bit cheaper. But everything is great. ✓ Quite a fan... butI will try to be brief. This game is great. The premise and gameplay is great. 2 pretty major beefs in my opinion (and one may be hardware related). 1. With every other New Star game you could play it and enjoy without spending a penny. Now, it seems you must fork out a pretty serious amount of money every time you play it just to barely stay get by. If I had request from the game designers or head decision maker, it would be to lessen the need for this every time. 2. It very well could be my phone. But, it has happened on multiple devices now. It has laggy game play at times and crashes on me quite a bit to be honest. Very good game... however, these two concerns, especially #1 does get one thinking of other games instead. To think that a person could EASILY spend $15 in 3-4 games on basic cards not to mention buying currency to actually build and upgrade stuff. That equates to about $100 in a week of playing, if you did 3-4 games per day. (FYI, 3-4 games and goofing around with all of the other aspects in between every game is really only about 45 mins, max.) I do wish there were more stats — you can only see player stats for the current season and you can’t see transfer history (which would be helpful in deciding if you should sell a player or not — am I making a profit?). I get that takes up more storage, but I’d be OK with it. Being able to manage a national team would be sick. The game isn’t as easy as New Star Soccer, but the gameplay doesn’t take long to master. If you let go and it goes to the shooting screen, taking away the cancel button would make it more challenging. Overall, though, I LOVE this game. That’s how it should work, if you like a game then you should pay something in order to support the development of the game but you don’t need to spend much. Some people on here are saying £15/20 - absolute rubbish! Buy the Gold player pack for £1.99, play your gold player a few times (get them scoring goals if possible), build up their value, then auction them for a few million bux. In the lower leagues that is enough to overhaul your team, upgrade your facilities etc and then you start making bux. I’ve got 10mil in the bank and an almost all Gold team Really enjoying the game, racked up some serious hours on it and toilet breaks at work are becoming dangerously long Almost finding it a bit too easy though. In season 6, I’ve topped every league first time and in my first season in the Premiership have won the league, FA and Europa Cups as well. ✓ NSMThis game is pretty good I like the fact you can have sponsors and press talks and you can actually build your club from the ground up (stadium, fitness centre , club store , etc). The only thing I feel that slacks on this game is the ability to buy players from different leagues. I have started many different careers to get a feel of different leagues and I’m currently playing in the Portuguese league but there are not many gold players you can buy because the league lacks in these types of players which is a really big problem when you come up against teams such as Manchester City in the europa league. If you added the ability to buy players from different leagues I think it would make the game much more fun and would also give you the opportunity to build your squad and make it better and it would be more of a challenge because the game can buy players from other leagues. Also I think that you should be able to get more energy cans after each match automatically so you can still get energy cans and get skill cards because your players seem to moan about there development a lot and there is just not enough skill cards to make them happy and when you use skill cards there is then not enough energy cans to refill there energy which means you can’t play them in the next match. ✓ It’s Great has potential to be amazing!This game has to be one of the best football games released on the App Store it takes everything great about football games and puts them in one place. It’s both deep in detail but simplistic enough to pick up and play just like NSS. It really is a good effort but it could be so much more. Firstly I’d recommend buying the remove ads option at the store as this allows you to enjoy the game as it should be played. Secondly the game is way too easy in my opinion, having played NSS for many years once you you get used to the mechanics I am currently unbeaten in 4 seasons and only conceding 3/4 goals per season. The AI needs to attack a lot more and make things more interesting upto now I’ve had little more than a sniff at a challenge and can easily score 4/5 goals if my fat fingers don’t mess it up 😂. It would also be great to be able to switch teams at the end of the season much like NSS to give that replayability to keep me coming back. A free-to-play game obtains income from purchases in the app. If a game doesn’t have this, it wouldn’t generate income and this is why you find none of this on games that aren’t free. Developers won’t just make games as complex as these for the fun of it! free games also obtain income from ad revenue. the ironic thing about the new star games are that a player will receive fake ads built into the game if they are not concerted to the wifi. this is a smart method by the developers to make the player realise the futility of disconnecting from the internet. Free to play games are popular as they obtain a large audience (such as fortnite at its peak) but there is always something to spend your money on. in fortnite’s case, it’s skins that are just aesthetic. in this games case, it may be something else. in addition, there needs to be a motive for a buyer to purchase the things in game. If there wasn’t an advantage they could get or something maybe impossible to achieve without buying, then nobody would buy it. ✓ Good game with potentialThe game is solid and is obviously based on previous NSS games but from the managers perspective. Overall it’s clean, simple and easy to master. There are a few bugs and improvements to be made. 1. Game crashes are sporadic but rarely occur. I can’t pinpoint a trigger, but sometimes occur during advertising displays. 2. When playing in multiple cups, I have found that if you have two completion games on the same week. You will play one and the other is auto-played for you. This is a bug and needs fixing. 3. Needs a saving feature to back saved games to cloud. 4. Keeping players happy about development is a nightmare. More cards are needed or reduce player expectations. 5. Would be nice to rename team, players or parts of game. 6. Issue with stadium attendance. Currently have unbeatable team but only get 50% attendance in small stadium. 7. Youth facilities and Scouts are good but very biased to generating forwards. Ratio on forwards is 4:1 on any other outfield player. 8. Moving clubs and end of season must not be available. ✓ Quality!This game is absolutely brilliant. I can’t seem to get enough of it! The gameplay is brilliant, and I enjoy managing these angry players. I have a few problems, though. Some are minor, some affect my gameplay. My first problem is that the players explode all the time. They’ll get extremely restless if I can’t produce enough training cards to train them. They also love to insult each other, nigh-constantly. Secondly, as a minor concern, the graphics for shooting aren’t very...what’s the word? I guess satisfying. It doesn’t take away from the fun, but seeing a player kick the ball while on their bad foot instantly switch to their good foot just annoys me a little. Same with penalties. They don’t run up...perhaps make the player control the football player to do a run up to the ball? Also, perhaps add “weak foot skill” or something like that. ✓ Another awesome game from NSSGreat start to a great game. Things I would like to see 1) option to swap between a first selection team and a second selection team. Takes too long to go through every position to swap them over. 2) option to select what position you get from the youth academy. Or more of a variation. Always get a FWD. 3) during a season later in the game when you have a good team most weeks I have 2 games (national cups or continental cups plus league games.) and it is impossible to train up players because they are too tired. Need a way to fix this. Keep running out of nrg. 5) be able to put players on the transfer market. Could effect their mood. For better or worse, depending in if they want to leave or not. 4) also as others have suggested be able to change kits and the name of your team and maybe move to a better team, before you get to the top league in your chosen nation. ✓ Good.....but!I like this game but......it is hard to get the balance right between choosing energy drinks or skill cards, which reduce energy, scout cards, physio cards and youth ones. Energy suffers tremendously if you choose any of the other cards, making it hard to put out a fit team. Players morale suffers as do team results. I feel that the game would be vastly improved if you had two options to choose from. The balance would be better. I happily paid for the ads to be removed as I felt the game was worth it. However, as time has gone on I am finding I might have to pay for more energy every couple of games. This is something I won’t bother doing as it would make the game prohibitively expensive. You would have to end up paying vast sums for a game that is good...but....not as good as FM2018 on a computer which retails between £15 and £30 and is far superior. I love New Star soccer and pay for boots, agents and trainers every 100 or 150 games but never have to pay for energy. Develop this game so as you keep loyal players like me happy and you might have a winner. Better to have many low, regular payers than a few who may or may not pay lots because they have nothing better to do with their money..Version: 0.8.3
✓ Like the update but...Definitely when changing clubs. I think less should be taken away. I know. Jumping from first division and being champion, doesn’t make sense to go to a different club and start at second division. Also when switching clubs. That club you switching to should have some sort of upgrades on facilities and also a signing bonus. When from millions of bux to like 50,000 bux... no point in my belief to change clubs and go to a complete downgrade. You should be advancing and accomplishing more and earning different cups. Also you should be able to buy players from different nationalities and not just from the country you’re playing in. That way you can refer to players from your old club and sign your best onto your new crew! Great game. I play everyday but some major updates should be done.Version: 0.8.3
✓ Ads problemWould have given this a 5, but the issue with ads freezing the game is a huge pain. No way to close them so you constantly have to exit and restart game. I paid for the ad free version, but would like to be able to get an extra retry now and again. Needs to be fixed..Version: 1.3.1
✓ Great game- wish you could just buy it and not depend on in-app purchasesThis is a great game until you progress to higher leagues and must depend on in app purchases to keep backup players happy. In app purchases destroy solid game concepts such as this. In addition players only gain skill from card usage and not playing time. It does not matter how well you play as a player, you are still forced to use in-app purchases and depend on poorly designed in game mechanics. ✓ Brilliant!At the moment, the only thing I have is praise for this game. It’s a game with FIFA 18, Football Manager 2018 and Football Chairman Pro all in its DNA. The ability to control attacks during games, is the FIFA 18 DNA, the ability to change the tactics and buy players strategically is Football Manager 2018 and the way you can sack hire and upgrade staff it’s like Football Chairman Pro. But it’s better than these three. It’s also a bit like Dream Soccer 2018, where you can build/upgrade your stadium. Only one problem, for goalkeepers around the age of 30 they won’t use as much energy as a 30 year old outfield player. Since 34 is the age when goalkeepers start declining. Also the energy levels do get a bit annoying at times, however that’s just realism. Anyway, as I’ve said nothing but praise and I can’t wait for the update to change my kit, badge and team name! 😁👍.Version: 0.3.0
✓ Great game with room for improvementEverything is balanced well and costs for players/staff of varying capabilities are reasonable. I love this game and I have played, and left reviews for over 100 games on the App Store. My only major concern is having to start completely back over whenever trying to move leagues. It should be changed so that if u place first in ur current league, I.e. USA2, and win the championship, you should have the option to advance to a higher league, i.e. USA1, while maintaining all ur progress, or at very least keeping ur facilities. ✓ Great Game; One Feature Would Add Great FunctionalityThis is a great game. (1) offline play! (2) a great game to pick up and put down. For quick plays here and there it would be great to be able to set lineups from the “Team Info” interface where you can see the players management concerns in one view.
