Used to be goodI ordered about 30 tiles or more from this company. I liked them enough to recommend these tiles to my parents and my sister. Recently, I noticed that three of the tiles puckered (had air bubbles between the photo and the tile). This makes the tile not attractive at all; it’s very distracting. I contacted their customer service and there was no response at all. After ordering this many without any complaints, you figure there would be some level of customer service when you need it. Disappointing. Also, coincidentally, some of the tiles are beginning to fall down. The stickers they include don’t seem to hold them up now than 1 year. I believe this company used to be better. The older tiles are still staying on well. Ironically, it’s the newer ones which have fallen..Version: 6.7.4

They are stuck in timeI created 3 different folder with multiples tiles in each. Tried to combine all 3 folders to order as one order. There is no way of doing that. Contacted customer service and their reply was “ I see, the issue is that our reorder feature is still not that advanced, if you want to order all the tiles together, the only best option to pay shipping once is for you to make the items all over again and add each to your cart as a new order” “. I would assume a fairly new company would have an option to order all 3 folders or even have an option of moving the tiles to different folders but they do not. So be careful, if you know you want to place a big order than I suggest adding more tiles in one folder. And if your like me and have over 40k of photos your looking through, then be careful because otherwise you won’t be able to order more than 1 folder without having to pay for shipping once. Their response is to add the photos to one folder, maybe that would of been fine but that means I have to look through all my photos and do all necessary adjustments again. I thought this app was supposed to be easy and save time but i guess that isn’t the case since you can not order multiple folders. No where on the app does it say to put photos in one folder if you want to order in bulk. And it probably should..Version: 7.41.0

Never even finished ordering.Finally decided to get a “free” tile ($8 shipping). As I was checking out it said I could add 3 tiles for $19 more. I decided to do it so I could start with a set to build on...but when I got to the check out it became $27 more and still the $8 for shipping. I tried a couple times and could not figure out why it wouldn’t give me the lower price (advertised as no promo required.) When I sent an email I was informed that it really was only $19 more because I receive 1 free tile, 3 tiles at $9 a piece (aka $27 or $19+$8, and then free shipping. The rep clearly didn’t check my account. With the lack of clear terms + extra charges not dealt with by customer service when I first reached out, I decided this wasn’t worth my time and canceled my order..Version: 6.0.2

Love, but ANNOYED ..I used to LOVE these apps and NOW I’m so annoyed… yes I enjoy a free tile every month and the other cute personalized items they have, BUT I can’t add multiple items to my cart… I find that I have to check out each item at a time…. Which led me to have an issue with the app….. apparently you can get $1 shipping on additional orders after placing an order and then as I was about to place an order, it gave me an error message and I missed my $1 shipping on a mug I was intending on getting… I messaged and told them what happened and nobody replied to my email… so I chatted with someone and NO HELP… “I can’t honor that” … all the continuous business I give , MONTHLY , and they can’t honor $1 shipping for THEIR app messing up …… THATS PATHETIC. I get that I may be overreacting to the situation, but I find it very annoying they can’t “honor” that… so much for a happy review..Version: 7.30.0

I’m disappointedI ordered 4 tiles and eagerly anticipated their arrival. Upon opening the package, I was surprised at the material from which the tiles were made. However, the pictures were excellent in quality. I decided to mount the tiles on the wall but the mounting of the tiles left a lot to be desired. The tiles are intended to be mounted with included double sided tape. I followed the instructions meticulously. The tape does not stick well. The tiles kept falling off the the wall, which caused them to become dented, chipped and damaged in various ways. I love the quality of the pictures but the product has not lived up to it’s advertised expectations. I ended up using easels to display the tiles. It is a very nice concept but I would not advise purchasing these if you expect to create a wall design as advertised..Version: 3.3.1

I can’t get this app to workI have ordered several times from this app. Never had any problems. I have recommended friends to this app. They all love it and purchase from this app. However after the update(s) I can not use this app. I have deleted and reinstalled and it tells me that “something went wrong”. I have since moved on to another app. I hate it because their tiles are made of foam. I just want to use this app and get these tiles. :( I would give a five star rating if “I” could personally use it again. My tiles are still on my wall even after a year. No problem with anything. Just can’t get the app to load. I know I sound like a broken record. I am so upset though. I use the picture and book app just fine..Version: 6.6.5

Cool Idea, reality not so muchI was skeptical about the whole and have now ordered 5 tiles total. Neat idea, quality is fine. Unfortunately my skepticism was related to the tiles staying on the wall (key to the whole idea) and for the second time it has been validated. I cleaned my wall, and used the square they offered for an additional $2 to square them off when placing. The first time I used the supplied foam squares and followed the instructions to hang. They fell off one by one, naturally in the middle of the night, and the corners were damaged. Then I used another brand of foam sticky pads and put on triple the amount, cleaned the wall, and they still fell off (4 am this morning). I give up, I do not want to try and hang them some other way (the whole point was to have them flush and squared as tiles) and have wasted $50 or so on pics I could have printed much more cheaply as 8x8s and hung another way. Exceptional photo quality, but needs some workI ordered 18 photos for my wall, and when they arrived I was ecstatic! The print quality was fantastic, and just what I needed. HOWEVER... when we tried putting them up, they fell right off and were hard to get out from under the couch. We had to make a run to the store to buy new adhesive, as the adhesive provided was cheap and didn’t work. We had to take the adhesive off of all the backs of the pictures and apply the new stuff, and now they’re ultra sturdy! Like I said, good quality printing, but needs some work and thought. The new adhesive wasn’t expensive, just a big hassle as we live out in the middle of nowhere and had to drive 2 hours round trip to get new adhesive. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from this site anymore, although the pictures came faster than expected. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 6.4.2

More than disappointing.Some months back I ordered about six tiles made from favorite photos from my library. To say that the product I received was disappointing is a gross understatement. Most of the the tiles were obscenely off-center, others included dates, names and other random marks that often are printed on the margins of snapshots. As is, these are useless as gifts, which is why I bought them in the first place. I would like a refund and would gladly place them where they belong- - in the trash. Apparently, there’s no one looking at the product before it ships to the buyer. Like where is their quality control ? I would never buy these items from this buyer again. The lesson cost me around $35, if I recall correctly..Version: 6.7.4

Package left on doorstepNormally FreePrints are really good with posting our pictures or tiles through the letter box. However today because there was two of them that arrived at the same time they were left on front doorstep! This is unacceptable in my opinion if my neighbour hadn’t have taken it inside for me and told me about it. Someone could’ve taken my package. Okay the tiles are not the most expensive thing in the world but it’s still unacceptable to leave them on the doorstep. I wasn’t even informed that they were being delivered or even out for delivery so I couldn’t stay in to collect them. You’re told a rough estimate for when they could arrive so what am I supposed to not leave the house for a week in fear that my parcel could be abandoned on my doorstep….Version: 7.11.0

Good but no as expectedI like that it was very easy and simple to order photo tiles ,and fast delivery with extra £2, however I am not really happy with the quality. There was no covering on the pictures , like glass or even plastic covering . I had to be very careful when touching the picture , as it could stain easily and you can’t clean the picture as you think that you can damage the paper . Also the plastic of the frame appears to be cheap quality . But when they are on the walls they look good .. just make sure nobody touch them or have a close look of the tile ...Version: 7.3.4

Used to love, not anymoreI’ve used these tiles for awhile now... I’ve bought a dozen or more over the course of a year. I was consistently buying 2 tiles a month to slowly fill a gallery wall until my issues started and I stopped ordering in March. First, even if you follow the directions perfectly they do not stay on the wall. I have a pile of 6 right now but have had every single one fall off at some point even tho I stuck them and never removed them. Secondly, the pictures don’t always stick to the tile either. I’ve had at least 3 bubble up in the middle so you can’t press it back down without leaving an ugly crease, or they start peeling and falling down off the corners. Customer service was ok. They sent me one new tile but I was SOL on the other two because they were out of the time frame they allow even though all my tiles were less than 6 months old at the time. I had planned on filling an entire wall which could’ve easily been well over 150 tiles but it’s not worth it when they don’t even last 6 months....Version: 6.0.2

Poor qualityThe printing quality is poor. There are clear lines in the printing, as if the ink was running low? And the colours are off. I also order through the FreePrints app by the same company. My first set of prints were fine but the second set had be cropped further than the proofing and ruined many of my photos and the overall print quality is just not good the second time around. It’s worth paying more for better products than to get the monthly free products from this company. Update: I have emailed the company about the poor quality in the printing and pointed out the issue with lines in the printing and incorrect colours. The company have ignored the content of my email, explained the cropping process when I have no issue with the way it has been cropped and refunded me. This isn’t a suitable resolution as it does not result in a tile that I am happy with so I have no choice but to shop elsewhere or try again next month. So in essence the print quality is poor and the customer service is lazy..Version: 3.2.2

2 good one terribleI have used this app many many times and been very pleased. This time I am disappointed with one of the tiles The picture is very very off center and will b unusable. Especially as the gift to my boss I had planned. I don’t know if u count that as my free one but would appreciate u allow me an additional free tile on my next order. I had paid extra for the tile and extra for it on glass. U can see on my order. If u were unable to do it properly for some reason o would rather u have taken time to tell me and then not do it at all. I appreciate ur product but this is unacceptable. Thank u. Photos delaminated from tilesI saw Mixtiles in a friend’s office and liked what I saw, but was put off a little by the price. Then I came across the Photo Tiles app which seemed much better value, so I ordered 4 of these tiles back in Jan/Feb 2019 and placed them on my window at work. I got several compliments on their appearance but that didn’t last long. By the end of March, the photos had begun to completely delaminate and separate from their backing plate, peeling away from the corners and hanging down. I might have understood if it was very hot outside, but this was New England - in March - so overheating is hardly an excuse. I took photos and sent them to their Contact Us email link, but have never received a reply. Since then, they have fallen off the window anyway, and are completely unusable. Very poor quality and not worth the money..Version: 5.1.0

When it goes wrong they have poor customer serviceI've had peeling and bubbling on frames. Latest is warped frame that doesn't sit flat. In the past I have accepted a certain amount of issues but as a good customer, I expected faultless action to replace my order but alas, unless you send a photo they won't even consider your complaint which is not following the sale of goods act 1979. No photo- no action from them to remedy your complaint, even though it cannot be seen in a photo!!! Extremely annoying and don't reply with an email asking me to contact a support person as you had your chance and we would see it a s cynical attempt to try and make out the customer hadn't been in contact already. Get of your high horse and give customers good service..Version: 7.31.0

Still waitingIf you live outside the continental US then forget about it! Even though you pay for shipping they use the slowest method of shipping. It’s been a month since I ordered my tiles and it still shows as being in California. When I emailed support they told me the shipping company waits til they have a full load to ship all there goods in bulk so it takes longer for people in Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, and Puerto Rico. Support told me to look at the tracking; which shows exactly what I told them, it hasn’t moved in over a week. I asked support how long am I suppose to wait for something I paid for and I haven’t heard back. If I had known it was going to take a month to get my tiles I wouldn’t have counted on it for Christmas.Version: 6.4.0

Better than expected***Update: not sure what’s happened to the quality, but the more recent photo tiles (within last couple years) are not doing as great. The images have been regularly popping off on the edges so we have to glue them down. Reduced rating as some of these have been doing this within weeks after purchase. ****Original Didn’t know what to expect and not only are they very well packaged for protection, the quality and ease of hanging is awesome. I never print photos anymore as I only ever take them from my phone. This makes it easy and they are super cute. Happy customer and will find oh so many uses for these. Great pricing, especially with a free one ea month and discounted shipping from time to time. I get compliments all the time on these! Wow!.Version: 7.33.1

Not the quality I expectedMy boyfriend and I have ordered tiles from several different companies. I was nervous about the foam backing of Mixtiles and my boyfriend ordered from them so I ordered from you. I ordered from another company that makes bigger tiles and for my 8x8 tiles I ordered 8 from Free Prints Photo Tiles. Mixtiles and the other company made beautiful tiles. All 8 of my tiles from you had a wrinkle/air bubble. The air bubbles could be flattened out with careful pressure but any of the wrinkles, while not insanely noticeable, can’t be removed. Some of the tiles also had a few spots of white where there isn’t any ink on the photo and there should be. I’m sure that this is something that others won’t notice and I will still use them because mostly they look pretty good but I wasn’t expecting this fault in every single, all 8 tiles that I ordered, especially when I now see that two other companies make tiles without this problem. I am tempted by the 1 free tile per month but I don’t know that I will continue purchasing from here..Version: 3.2

Nice Product/Terrible Customer ServiceBought about 20 products. Good quality and always happy. Then a problem surfaced. Live chats and emails accomplished nothing. This company will not be accountable for its shipments. When what they send is lost, rather than fessing up and making it right, they advise the customer to be more patient. They show delivery dates and, in my case, the photo was lost. “Wait another day or two then write us again if you don’t get it.” This should not be the customer’s responsibility. They ship the product and select the shipper, but the customer must wait when something goes wrong! I’ve closed my account! Be forewarned. Follow-Up. After 20 days, still haven’t received what I ordered and paid for. PlanetArt refuses to issue a credit. USPS website has the tracking number but indicates item has not been received from sender. I’ve protested the small charge. The many reviews about this company’s poor customer service never appear under the “Most Helpful” banner that you see when opening reviews. This vendor is fine when all goes well. But when there is a snafu, they’re terrible…the worst..Version: 7.29.0

Great tiles but the app lacks featuresThe tiles look good but feel lightweight and I’m not sure how well they will come off the wall - they’re made of plastic and I’m worried they might break. And I’m not sure how I feel about how deep the back is - the photo sits more than an inch away from the wall. My big problem though is the app itself. It lacks enough features that I probably won’t be continuing to use it. Which really bugs me because I invested about $100 in tiles and I hate to change to another tile now. So what do I mean about lacking features? Well, for example, you can’t see the tiles you have already made when you put in a second or third order. And you can’t pick photos, set up the tiles, but then set them aside to purchase later at another time..Version: 6.2.0

Hanging my photo tilesI love the actual photos, I got the glass affect and they are lovely. I am very very disappointed about how they have to be put up , I had to adjust a couple of them , and was lead to believe from the description that it would be very easy . I didn’t find it easy at all . I did everything it said to do when getting them off the wall but they brought the paint off and a some plaster . So consequently it has spoiled the wall and now not enough stickers to replace to be able to put them up. I just think for the money there should be a better way to hang them ..Version: 7.22.0

Bad resolutionIn the past I bought the canvas tiles and the resolution was pretty good. However I just received 4 more tiles and this time I chose glass and the resolution was very grainy. I am going to send a message to the company to see if I can get this issue resolved. Paying good money for unclear photo tiles is not cool. Updated review: I talked to customer service via live chat and they agreed the resolution was bad, they said it was a “production error” therefore they are reprinting them and sending them in the mail! Paid in full! Order was never completedI ordered my son 8 different photos for his Christmas present. I ordered and paid in full £40 on the 9th December. 18th December I had an email to say delivery will be by 20th December. 20th December nothing came again I was chasing the company only to be told they had too much work on and could not make my order or delivery!! So they lied in the email which I have stating it was on its way!!! I still have not received a full refund! It’s sooooo hard to get hold of anyone you have to download this app it’s ridiculous. Iv emailed but since being promised a refund which I was told that’s my compensation 😂the company are not answering anymore!! It’s frustrating disgusting and v v disappointing. Where is my Refund!!!! App is great, company is notI ordered a photo tile. When I placed that order the confirmation said shipping on all other items would be only $3.99 until the end of the month - which is great because your shipping cost more than your products cost most other places. So what happened next was I put together a photo book to order to take advantage of that great shipping- it’s not as fast to put together as you would think- then at checkout guess what? It wouldn’t apply the discounted shipping. So I contacted customer service thru email. I received an email back 2 days later saying nothing about my issues but that I forgot something in my cart and when I clicked it it popped up & said I’d received a free upgrade to a 6x8 hardcover. Wow! Bet you’ll never guess what happened then! I went to my cart, added the 6x8 hardcover, removed the 5x7 softcover and went to check out and the fantastic deal was - A FULL Price 6x8 Hardcover and FULL Price Shipping! Yay for me, right? I don’t expect freebies, but we all know it isn’t really free with the shipping you charge. I do expect companies to do what they say. This company is not doing so..Version: 4.2.0
