Perfect puzzleEasy to control on iPad. Good intro to simple programming. Would be nice to have optimized for new iPad Pro 13’.Version: 1.0

Challenging, especially for OCDThe Optional Completion Distinct (short for OCD, an alright pun🤨) in each level makes the originally intriguing game very challenging. Some of the levels are so difficult that you think you are having a technical interview for programming..Version: 1.0

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!So glad this is on tablet, I've been waiting and it is here a lot sooner than I expected. Awesome game!!!.Version: 1.0

Very entertainingSuper coding game. Very entertaining when my errors leave the people being accidentally shredded or dropped through holes. More in depth than expected as each level has challenges on number of lines of code and speed of execution. There are instructions and help from management, but it helps if you understand coding logic. For those who are stuck I’d suggest YouTube.Version: 1.0.2

Excellent sequelExcellent sequel to Human Resource Machine, with interesting little programming puzzles. Small audio bug, though: sound just cuts out for no reason. I have to kill and restart the app to get it back for all of a minute..Version: 1.0.3

More wonderful computational puzzlesFor those who haven’t experienced it yet, go and play Human Resource Machine first. This is a worthy sequel, similarly charming and challenging bringing some excellent novel elements. Strongly recommended. To the other reviewer. There is nothing wrong with puzzle 17. You only need one command. Did you even try it?! Devs: can we please have iCloud support for sharing progress across devices?! Thanks for a great app..Version: 1.0.1

Great game but desperately needs undoMy sessions often end when I attempt to scroll the code display up or down and end up mistakenly dragging around a code block and inserting it somewhere. At this point the program control flow is destroyed, I have no idea what I did, and there is no undo function to undo the last edit. I can spend a lot of time trying to fix it, or just quit the game in frustration, which is what usually happens..Version: 1.0.3

Absolutely amazing.Love this series of games. One "small" ask. Can you introduce daily challenges / user submitted levels or additional level packs! Thanks for the many hours spent playing this!.Version: 1.0.1

Get this game.Loving it... although I live for the programming... I stay for the cut scenes..Version: 1.0.2

Great game, but it blocks outside audioI love this game, but it shares a serious limitation with Human Resources: it won’t let you listen to an audio app while playing. This significantly reduces the times I want to play. I usually listen to audiobooks or podcasts when playing any mobile game..Version: 1.0.3

At last you are mine!I’ve been looking for a game that uses programming syntax as a game mechanic for years. This game is brilliant!.Version: 1.0.3

A deeper Human Resource MachinePROS: - good balance of tough (optional) challenges and casual play - they do a great job of introducing new commands when they are unlocked - managing many humans at once adds another layer of complexity - funny & cynical, but some of the gags are nicely subtle. makes me want to actually read the text CONS: These aren’t big deals, but: - the spacey music, which is kind of moody, clashes with the humor. would have preferred something more upbeat - small screens beware; some of the handles are very small and easy to miss-tap - screen rotation can be annoying.Version: 1.0.3

Amazing.I’ve planned their predecessor; Human Resource Machine, so I knew this game would be great. It challenges you to think harder and look with different perspectives with limited options. This game is great for an intro to programming and debugging..Version: 1.0.2

Just the bestNew puzzles that are challenging and satisfying. Excellent follow up to Human Resource Machine..Version: 1.0.1

Excellent! The App Store has become saturated with mindless games - 7 Billion Humans is refreshingly challenging and is well worth the $5. After 17 hours in-game I have finally gotten to the top of the elevator, with two skips on particularly gnarly rooms, and it’ll probably be months before I can achieve the optional challenges on each room. The difficulty is quite high for a mass market game - I have an engineering degree and still do some light dev work for a software company and I find myself stumped constantly! This is a fantastic way to learn programming (and improve) and I can’t recommend it enough..Version: 1.0.2

Amazing fun with algorithms!Really fun puzzles. Starts easy but gets genuinely challenging, in the best way..Version: 1.0.3

Pretty goodFirst of all, I would strongly recommend starting with the predecessor to this, Human Resource Machine. This game will especially appeal to those with a logical/mathematics mindset , and especially to those who have some experience in computer programming. This game requires some mental investment so be prepared. The good: Nice sense of accomplishment when you figure out the levels and especially when you figure out how to optimize them with efficiency or program size. It’s fun to learn how to use logic to get the little characters to achieve their goals. You really feel like you’re exercising your logic muscle here. The bad: The IF command can be confusing. For example, it’s tough to know what commands are included underneath it, hard to understand what’s meant by “nothing, something, etc”. Also, often you’re having to rotate the screen because you can’t see all of the lines of code (iPhone X) Also, when reviewing the code, why no back button? Especially for when the program ends, it’s nice to go back in the code too. Overall: I’m still working on it, haven’t won it yet and may or may not win it at all. Got to the last level on its predecessor which seemed nearly impossible to solve, although I’m sure that it is. This game is rewarding, very challenging and overall well made. Has a few kinks , hopefully they iron them out with updates..Version: 1.0.1

Lots of funMy only gripe is that most of the game is tutorial so the actual puzzles go by quite quickly. More content would be nice..Version: 1.0.3

New Favorite GameClever gameplay, clever premise, and of course clever death animations. Playing this has also helped make me more conscious of performance when writing code IRL. Great job!.Version: 1.0.3

Awesome game! The game is challenging and well built. Would recommend anyone with a interest or not in coding basics , to try it. Very logical and entertaining..Version: 1.0.2

Just like programming in the old days ;)Been a programmer for 35 years and the kind of thinking required to meet the optional challenges really takes me back to the ‘old Skool’ days where resources were tight and you had to get resourceful and write ‘ugly code’ just to get the thing to run! A great game and a real pleasure. And if you yourself complete the challenges (and I’ve not myself yet) then give yourselves a pat on the back and go out and get a job coding as you are more than capable!.Version: 1.0.3

Good game but no sound on iOS 13 ?Great game - reminds me of the classic ChipWits from the 1980s. Unfortunately the sound does not work on my iPad with iOS 13 so I can’t give it five stars..Version: 1.0.3

Great game.Had to come give this five stars for the intro. I love everything you guys do and I’m excited to get into this game! Alright I’m a little ways in and I have to say you guys nailed it again. This ones a little bit tougher than HRM (maybe just for me) took me awhile to figure how to use some of the commands properly, but I’m familiar enough with it to figure it out eventually. This game is logic made fun. Excited for the solar system super computer game to come next! (It’s the next logical step right!?) Great job guys, keep it up!.Version: 1.0.2

UnexpectedThis might be the funniest way to learn how to code. Love this game!!! 🤘🏼.Version: 1.0.3

Nostalgia trip to my Programmer pastWhen the desc said “assembly”, I did not think it was actually assembly.. the game is super fun and challenging. Finishing each level gives you feeling of accomplishment. I can use this to teach others about programming in a basic level. I changed my career now, but it is fun to go back and think like a programmer again after so long. Good job on making this so addicting! Improvements: 1. Sub functions / modules. It will get rid of the whole code duplication i made to solve conplex levels. Perhaps can be introduced as newer levels?.Version: 1.0.1

Great Game One Small Problem So FarI enjoy playing Human Resource Machine on the pc so I wanted to download this one on my phone however there’s one problem I encountered that makes it difficult to play. I play on an iPhone 6s and it’s probably not a problem with many other people who downloaded this but I can’t read the data blocks sometimes because my screen is too small. I hope you really incorporate a zoom mechanic so that the game can be more enjoyable for those who don’t have a better iPhone (or even a plus screen). Please respond so I can know if this is something I won’t have to worry about in the future. Thank you..Version: 1.0

Destined to be a Big HitIt’s unique, fun, humorous and addictive.Version: 1.0.1

Best programming game yetI enjoy this programming based puzzle game. While it won’t teach you how to code, it does require the same type of logic you would use writing some real life programs. The game can be difficult at times and might not be right for everyone, but if you enjoy logic, problem solving, or coding I think you would enjoy this game as well :).Version: 1.0.3

Please add cloud based iOS saveI love this game, my only complaint is that I cannot use both my iPhone and iPad on the same game. They are two separate saves, If this game did that it would be nearly perfect..Version: 1.0.2

Very fun game...desperately needs syncThis game is a great little gem to have installed in your phone. Open it up when you have time to take a crack at a puzzle. Since it’s a universal game that runs on the iPhone and iPad, it needs a way to sync progress between devices..Version: 1.0.1

What, no undo wish?Best I can figure, some genie granted a wish to solve world hunger, provide limitless energy, and give robots to do everyone’s jobs for them. That’s right, unemployment hit 100% and without an undo wish, the robot overlords (the robots took over politicians’ jobs too) have created jobs for everyone - busy work. Your role? To tell aspiring workers how to get their jobs done, to complete tasks given you by your manager. In short - you’re writing programs in a multi-threaded context to move arrange cubes, sort them, filter them, etc, etc, etc. It would not be wrong to think of this as an extension of their prior programming game, Human Resource Machine, with a slightly higher level language, and now with ludicrous gibs (something every programming language need, no doubt). Whether you are a programmer, or merely aspiring to be one, this will help teach valuable skills in an entertaining setting..Version: 1.0

Best IOS GameIs a shame games like this aren't at the top of the charts instead of the endless cloned and repetitive games that currently are. The originality and polish puts this game light years ahead of any other game on mobile. Not to mention, it's not just fun but disguised underneath, you actually learn something. I'm obsessed with getting the OCD (difficult but optional) achievements in every level. Never has there been a game that not only makes you feel like a genius, but actually secretly makes you one. If only more games like this existed. Original concept, exceptionally polished = two really big thumbs up..Version: 1.0.3

Excellent evolution from HRMI like the phone rotation to get a better view of the code panel but a way to see the numbers on the cubes better would be appreciated. I'd also love to be able to move from phone to tablet with the same solutions..Version: 1.0

Nearest is faster than setIn year 34, why?.Version: 1.0.3

MasterpieceSo much fun and in a practical and useful way. It does get challenging, though I would have liked it harder too. This game is also useful in moving into the mindset for python programming. In a way it teaches you some of the logic needed for software engineering, and so is a great intro and still really fun There’s so much to build on here for future games too, I’m so excited. Functions, more variables, improved variable incrementing when iterating, binary evaluation, threading, etc. I would also love to see the last many levels just be impossibly hard and complicated, leveraging every situation from the game at once..Version: 1.0.3

FantasticHave just finished this, can really enjoyed it. Nice mix of puzzles and optional challenges. Some are very hard, some rely on a little luck, or a flash of insight. I found this better than human resource machine, as the parallel nature of the puzzles made it a little more interesting. Can wait for the next game, featuring quantum computing 😉.Version: 1.0.3

Complete entertainmentFun, Challenging, Amusing, Quirky Love it!.Version: 1.0.3

Unique, great gameNormally Apple give suggestions about other games you might like, but there they offer any for 7BH. Why? Because there isn’t anything like 7BH..Version: 1.0.1

ExcellentReally great game, superbly done! Very satisfying when you manage to debug a failed program, I feel like this is giving my brain a good work out! Only slight criticism is that you can’t listen to your own music when playing but it’s not a game changer. I hope the developers make more games of this calibre!.Version: 1.0.3

Great puzzle game but no sync. This is a great game to introduce programming basics. Syncing progress between devices would be helpful but since other games from this developer never had sync implemented, I wouldn’t hold my breath on this..Version: 1.0.3

Another hit from Tomorrow CorporationA worthy successor to Human Resource Machine, and quite a bit more polished..Version: 1.0.1

Fantastic programming intro; best on iOS.More refined than the developer’s previous game Human Resource Machine. This one gives you a much more flexible toolkit to work with. Far better than the half-dozen other programming games I’ve tried, in fun and in educational value. I’ve always loved the thematic undertones in these guys’ games, ever since World of Goo. In this game, they messages are front and center—pretty on-the-nose. I kind of miss the subtlety of their previous titles. A great game nevertheless..Version: 1.0.1

Brilliant on iPad, not suitable for iPhoneI love this game. It works really well on iPad. However, on an iPhone 6S levels 10 and above are unplayable due to the very very tiny elements on screen being unreadable. Stick to playing it on an iPad and you will be fine..Version: 1.0.3

I need more. For the love of god, please release some more puzzles for me to solve. I don’t even care if they have graphics or dialogue or anything. Every other “puzzle” type game I play now feels so mundane. The level of creativity and logical pondering to beat this game and meet the optimization challenges is so satisfying once achieved. I cannot wait several years for your next game. Take my money and make an add-on. Great work..Version: 1.0.3

Great coding game with a few annoyancesE.g. ForEachDirection won’t let you use the result as a direction — can’t walk to an empty space in that direction since it qualifies as Nothing. Those sorts of idiosyncrasies occasionally make certain intuitive solutions impossible and can only be learnt through trial and error. Controls can be awkward on a small phone screen and visuals often too small with extremely limited ability to zoom in, but in general a great game..Version: 1.0.3

Good but......Updated* Have hints for every level..Version: 1.0.3

Excellent gameHaving fun through 29. At 30 found out ‘nearest wall’ is broken. Instead of being wall directly S it is selecting wall SW or wall a whole step N. Weird..Version: 1.0.2

Add a Level EditorI have completed everything and would love more. A level editor that the community can use and share would be a great addition..Version: 1.0.3

Great game but missing cloud savesA wonderful sequel to Human Resource Machine that makes programming fun. It's a shame there's no cloud save support, so I can't switch between iPhone and iPad 🙁.Version: 1.0.2

Great gameGreat game in general with excellent puzzles. However, the game is slowed down by to many dialogue boxes. I wish the game would observe the orientation lock, it will flip to portrait when it shouldn’t. I also can’t play music or listen to podcasts as the game takes audio focus, I can turn the music off but not the sound effects. A few niggling oversights that prevent me from giving it 5 stars..Version: 1.0.3
