✓ Does not live up to expectationsUnlike the main game, you are forced to play a single character undergoing a single storyline, It is extremely more difficult because you start out with an very hard scenario, food is scarce, meds is PLENTY. I’ve had Adam gone on starving for two days straight only to find one piece of raw meat, watching him limp around is boring and slow. I cannot imagine ever playing again, It might be fun for the first time but has 0 replayability, For an three dollar standalone, this is bullcrap compared to the original game with plenty of characters and the freedom to survive in however way you wish. If you haven’t figured it out, this is a review not to criticize but to rant and help others avoid this trash, stick to the main game, this is 100% not worth it for any reason at all..Version: 1.0.5
✓ Great base game but the story gets cut shortThe gameplay is fantastic and the visuals, although not as good as PC, are still pretty good. It’s difficult and seeing your kid suffer while you do your best to provide is certainly a heart wrenching experience to pay for. One problem. Right as soon as you feel like the story is picking up steam, the game is cut short by an ending that is disappointing and it feels like you didn’t work for it. I got excited, but there’s no stealth section like the main game (the main game can be played in any way you want, albeit coming with its own set of challenges for each), and you suffer no penalties for committing murder, stealing, and raids (being attacked at night would usually get someone upset in your group) because the only playable character is stuck being determined and never loses hope. This may sound good but it removes the challenges of morale penalties..Version: 1.0.8

✓ Story, not StoriesI enjoyed the base game, and this was an all right ad-on. That said, it’s only one story, and it’s really short. I was expecting more than one story based on the title, which is misleading. It’s OK, but for me it just wasn’t worth it..Version: 1.0.4

✓ BugI am also having the same issue with regards to Adam dieing and neither restarting the day or starting a new story entirely gets you past that death screen. It just keeps loading the death animation as default. Please fix this issue so I can play the game..Version: 1.0.2

✓ Great concept but poor applicationThe premises of this game really did grab my attention but the game feels so sluggish.
