✓ Has more potentialI think the game is fantastic and very addictive however there are a few things that really do put me off, like pairing players up who are drastically different levels to you so you can’t really compete. In these cases where others have so many more improvements on their golfer, it’s very unfair on lower levels and puts them at a disadvantage, and only benefits those who are obviously already very good at the game I also think this game times out a lot and I don’t like that you still face a penalty if you lose connection as that’s not you’re fault, especially when you have been doing well in a match and then all the progress is lost and you end up losing trophies..Version: 1.13.0
✓ First App to Ever Get Me AngryFirst of all, as someone who still has all the previous SSG games still downloaded, I am a fan of the series. This one may have changed that stance. The initial thing you notice is the wait in between every shot. Why? Not sure who thought of that gem. “You can lessen the wait time by upgrading your character” NOPE. Well, you can, but since it was the first thing I noticed, I spent most of my upgrade points on decreasing the cooldown time and it is still an unbearable wait. That needs to go. Secondly, the ball contact between the players was a poor choice. Being an inch from the hole to win one second, then getting last due to collision gets to you after the 20 millionth time. But I guess if the game was like the previous SSG games, good players like me would skyrocket through the ranks and wouldn’t need to make use of the micro$ due to everyone’s greed. Good idea for a game in theory. However, terrible in execution. It gets me angry, but also puts it into perspective that it’s just a stupid game and has no reason to get me upset. ✓ UnbalancedThis game was fun when I started playing it. But every match has people that are tons of levels higher than you therefore all of their ability’s are higher level including their wait time after hitting the ball. And games are just super unfair and boring. Also to mention everyone’s golf balls should be transparent to each and everyone because being behind someone’s ball means u can’t do nothing In so many situations. ✓ Fun for about five minutesThen you realise the courses are poorly designed for multiplayer, with an emphasis on accuracy. That would be fine, but your opponents will not be attempting to complete the hole, instead going out of their way to stop anyone else completing it. The winner will be the player with the luckiest bounce, the one who escapes the sabotage attempts. Add to that the fact you can only level up your player if you buy cosmetics, it seems to be aimed at under-5s. If you are a child, give it a go..Version: 1.5.4
✓ Alt/account sharing needs to be fixedYou guys need to fix the accounts sharing somehow. IP addresses, device ID… I don’t care. I’m playing at lvl 38 and are getting beaten by lvl 25-30 that have 300+ better personal best trophy records. Even the game is glitching with these alternative accounts when I just played a lvl 31 with personal best 1491. Yet he had 2xTop 5 globally medals? Cmon. Make it fair.Version: 2.6.4

✓ Fun, addicting, gameplay. To much emphasis on Gems.A Thoroughly enjoyable, fast-paced game. Though clad in slightly repetitive gameplay, it’s balanced by the marvellous ball contact feature which feels like the blue shell in Mario cart. I have a few complaints with the game. The underhanded emphasis on micro transactions and Gems. I understand the developer invests there time and makes the game available for free. However, after I saw the new challenge(amazing idea by the way) mode is 20 gems for entry I felt sad because the packs give so little in the way of gems. I also wish you gained some XP per match played, even a small amount would validate spending more time on the game. And knocking down the price of a respec would have been appreciated because once you've played the game for awhile you understand far better how to apply your points. Overall a fun game, but if you plan to continue playing for awhile, they game will eventually extract a few bucks from your wallet..Version: 1.6.0

✓ Fun, but awfully flawedFirst of all, the star pass packs and bonuses punish players who play all the time. It makes you wait 12 hours before you can collect more stars for first place wins, so playing becomes pointless. Secondly, you are matched by your trophy totals, not your skill ranking, so a player ranked at 12, gets matched up with 45 and 50 level players, and it’s impossible to keep up. The concept is cool, but it makes the game nearly unplayable in many matches. I can’t imagine the level 35+ players enjoy being matched up with super low level players either. It also creates a “bullying” aspect where the high level players will literally use all of their moves just to stop low level players from hitting their ball. Surprised the developers aren’t aware, which leads me to the conclusion that that are in favor of this behavior. Pretty bad business plan considering it turns off new players, and doesn’t help for player participation growth. Sad, because the game has so much going for it if it were fixed..Version: 3.0.7

✓ Good idea, terrible execution.The battle style of gameplay is a great idea, until you realize that you are Level 6 and everyone you have been matched against is ATLEAST Level 16, giving them a simply MASSIVE lead over you from the start, I haven’t seen anyone NOT double my own Level in a week... causing me to drop to 100 trophies and I’m still in that same situation... And the leveling system... oh god... The only way to gain EXP is you MUST OPEN CARD PACKS (aka, loot boxes) and that alone upsets me... So buying packs and currency immediately reflects upon you gaining a bunch of levels, and gaining Boosted Stats as a result... Level Design: can be anywhere from Great to Utter Trash, for example, there is a level where there is a platform that rotates AT RANDOM SPEEDS AT RANDOM TIMES, and trolls... and Sticky Wall or Platform level will instantly get you a troll that dedicates himself to knocking everyone off of it... It’s often difficult to aim when your opponent is WAITING for you to do anything, or even worse he is SITTING ON YOU, preventing you from doing anything to begin with....Version: 1.5.4
✓ Horrible ReliabilityThe game is fun, I’ve been playing for some time now, and I do enjoy the game.... when it works the way it should. Yes there are little quirks here and there but the biggest downfall is the horrible reliability. When you’re playing online on a game that requires quick reactions, you can’t expect to play over lag on the connection. The way this game tries to resolve the issue is terrible, pretty much penalizing those affected. I know my wifi is above average and yet the game still manages to say that I’m losing connection. And what’s even worse is that I can go from being in first place, all the way to the bottom when it wasn’t even my fault. It honestly takes the fun away from this game entirely which is why I quit a while ago and cane back after some time hoping this was fixed. To my dismay, it persists and it’s purely disappointing that such a good game is tainted with such a huge flaw. I’m just going to leave the game entirely soon if I have to endure that one more time because it actually wastes my time because I don’t even get the enjoyment out of playing the game when this happens. ✓ Good game but!!!!!!The game is really good the whole action and setup runs smooth, but the game often crashes on iOS 12. I don’t understand the scoring either. You can win 3 trophies for coming 3rd then the next game you lose 20 for coming 3rd. The only way to progress is use money to buy golfers hats etc which gives xp to level up. It takes 2-12 hours for a card pack and you only get a few bucks. This makes leveling up really difficult unless you are willing to spend real cash and trust me the game is not worth real cash. ✓ Shockingly terrible matchmaking and point awardingThis game is designed to be competitive however it’s matchmaking to make it fair is non existent with me frequently being paired up with people over 20 levels above me. the trophy awarding system is even worse with that most of the time the person that finishes last seems to be the only one to get a positive amount of trophies with the top 3 losing trophies. Moreover, everytime I test this I seem to lose the most and for some reason in most cases third place loses the most trophies (-45) with 2nd place and 1st place losing around 15 trophies and somehow 4th place gains 15 trophies. There is no form of visible work done with both these issues and it ruins the game and the competitiveness behind it and it’s just become a toxic trolling nightmare from hell..Version: 3.0.8
✓ Good game but....Love the main game but the 1v1 is clearly fixed and against bots. Every time I get close close to winning a game the “other player” mysteriously manages the equivalent of a hole in one for the next 1-3 rounds (depending on how many it needs to win). Once would be unlucky but this happens literally every time I play. A shame as the main game is a lot of fun but I’ve started to play less as I get so annoyed by the cheating..Version: 1.8.4
✓ Overall BadLike many have said before, the game has a great concept, just executed badly. Golfing competition more fast paced than SSG3. I like it but one aspect ruins it. Ball contact. Many a time I was about to win a round when I get knocked out of place by another player. Yes I have done it to other players but never intentionally. Then of course, there is the usual ‘monetization screws up progress’ issues. I hit the pay-wall at level 8 and the rate at which you earn card packs is insanely slow. The card packs never give a useful amount of money or jewels. TIP: Do NOT use money/jewels on cosmetic items! Use them for power ups and card packs ONLY. On top of all that, the card packs have ridiculous wait times! Not the worst I’ve seen in the mobile game but still pretty bad. So I don’t see the point in playing a game where I am basically restricted to playing two matches the day because if I play anymore, I don’t get anything for it. Another fatal flaw is that who you play against is based on trophies and not their level. I’ve seen people at level 10 get matched up with players at level 34! And, of course, the level 34 player dominates the match! But of course, this is done on purpose to make the low level player accelerate leveling by spending money. What a scam!.Version: 1.7.4
✓ Crashes constantlyI love this game and have spent a bunch of money on it... but it crashes constantly and has cost me a bunch of money (losing red gems in the tournaments isn't my idea of fun). I boot the app back up and when it tries to connect to the round, it often crashes back to the home screen. iPhone 6 iOS 10.3 user here. The latest update or 2 is the worst for crashes for me. ✓ Lots of potential, but.....This game could easily be one of my favorite games. The idea is great, and is pretty good for the most part. I like the idea of a multiplayer “battle-style” golf game, and the power ups add a fun twist to it. Yes, getting knocked around by everyone else’s power ups is annoying, but that’s not really a big problem. However, the one thing that really annoys me is the HUGE margin of error needed for some shots. I have had shots where the area where the ball could land is wider than the platform itself. Or other times, the ball simply doesn’t go far enough to reach a platform, and I’m forced to wait for my ball to respawn while all of my opponents get a huge lead. I’m fine with a bit of luck being involved in the gameplay, but this is too much. It’s stupid how much winning relies on luck, and is by far the most frustrating thing about this game. ✓ No new levels - boring quickWith every level you progress, you unlock a new course. But because of the flawed algorithm, you so rarely end up playing the new levels because you are limited to the levels your three opponents have unlocked. I’ve posted reviews and written to the creators but with no response. I’d spend money on the game if it’d help - but it won’t. I keep repeating the same 10 levels over and over. ✓ Fun at first but beware!This game is fun and funny to play but ONLY WHEN YOU START! The game reels you in thinking oh this is fun and I’m paired equally, NOT! Once you get passed a certain level or you start leveling things up, the pairing system starts pairing you with people that are 10-30x higher ranked than you which in turn makes you not be able to play the game because the other players have much faster cooldowns and higher ranked power ups that they knock your ball into water or the board so you don’t even stand a chance. If the devs can fix the pairing system this game would be 5 stars even if there are “pay to win” features, the game would still be playable for fun and of you want to get competitive then pay to upgrade faster and get more stuff. Until the pairing system gets fixed my 2 stars are here to stay Edit / update: a perfect example of the ranking system flaw just happened to me. ✓ Improve matchamking or balance skillsThe game concept is fun, and starts off great… but once you advance to level 5 or higher suddenly you’re matched with players so far ahead of you there’s no point in playing. This results in players tanking games to compete at lower levels which only makes the game worse! Either improve the matchmaking or use the same limiters you use in the tournament settings to ensure balanced competition… I just deleted the game at level 11 because my last game I was playing against level 40+ players. ✓ ScriptingThe match scripting on this game is truly atrocious. It isn’t pay-to-win, anybody can win or lose, but it’s less about skill and more about luck a lot of the time. Sometimes your ball goes outside the parameters, sometimes you press for a power-up but it never works, and sometimes people have a cool down much quicker than the maximum level. Too many times my ball has defied all physics to cost me a game, and it works especially well when someone is in front or about to win. I’ve had it work in my favour too.Version: 3.0.1

✓ Customer service non-existentI’m writing a one star review mostly because I’ve sent 3 emails for support to Noodlecake which have been completely ignored. It’s funny because years ago when they were smaller they actually helped when I needed to recover game content from another game. Now, I’ve spent money on Golf Blitz to get the star pass last season. The game was bugged and didn’t reward daily rewards which are part of the purchase. Any respectable company would automatically issue some sort of in game reward to make up for this, but they had no response whatsoever. I emailed for this and they ignored my email. I played this game when it first launched and recently came back to it and already wasted over $30 in the short time I’ve been playing again (which by the way, $30 does almost nothing to actually boost you in game, I gained one level from this amount). So even though this game has some fun moments I recommend staying away. It’s pricing is ludicrous and the company is so stingy with this imaginary money that doesn’t really do anything significant that they can’t even issue something to those of us that paid real money for benefits which were not received. Their non-responsiveness has guaranteed that I will no longer spend a single dollar on any of their games..Version: 2.1.1

✓ Matchmaking is BrokenThis game is a great concept. It’s fun to play, and there are a variety of courses to play on. To be honest I have deleted and reinstalled the game a couple of times. While the basics are great, there are a couple of tragic flaws that should be fixed: Matchmaking appears to be purely based on trophies, and doesn’t take into account the levels of the players. I am level 9. I am constantly being matched with players who are level 30 and above, with whom I can’t compete with because they have received so many more skill points than me to the point where they generally take two shots to my one, and can almost double the farthest distance I can hit. It’s ridiculous that a low-level player like me should be routinely matched against these players just because my trophy count is a little high. The Other problem I have is the courses. I have unlocked 9 diferent courses (as I am level 9), but routinely get the same 3 or 4. I want to be able to play the course I unlocked at level 9, but after playing almost 30 matches I have only gotten to play on it once. This is ridiculous. Why have so many courses if you aren’t going to allow players to select which one they want to play on? Why unlock a different course at every level, when I won’t ever get to see it? These two things get fixed, and I would play this game for life, but those two flaws in the game are overwhelming..Version: 1.13.0

✓ Fun fun fun….Then….wallet grabberGreat game. Hours of addictive fun, but after attaining a certain level, around 35-40, you can no longer progress in the game without paying hundreds of dollars. Those hats and golfer that used to cost you a reasonable amount of bucks, all of a sudden jump to 100,000 +. And to get 100,000 bucks organically, without paying real cash, will require you to play the game several hour a day for months and months, just to get a few upgrade points. The game goes from being fun and easy to upgrade till about level 20, then it becomes challenging and may coax you to pay some money to fast track your advancement, till about level 35. After that, there is almost no way to move forward without paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars. You can buy a very complex and amazing PS4 game (that is thousands of time more sophisticated than this game) for $59-79 with no need to purchase more stuff to enjoy. After level 35, you will pay 10-20x that amount to keep advancing, or accept just getting stuck at that level and nothing ever changes. Is it just me who’s getting sick of these pay-to-play games getting out of control? Am I the only one who longs for the good old days, when you could just pay for a game or an app, and then enjoy it without being forced to keep paying more and more? ✓ Mixed feelingsDon't get me wrong, I absolutely love this game, but there are a few things soooo wrong that it's not funny. First off, you get nothing whatsoever for winning a game except trophies, which are useless. You NEED to make it that your xp bar fills up depending how good you do in a game Second off, the matchmaking. I am a level 8, and am constantly being paired with level 18-19s, and is bad because the only way to level up is by having better stuff, and you getting better stuff by leveling up. Pl3ase base matchmaking on levels. Thridly, having golfers and hats are just a sad excuse to try and make the player buy microtransactions, and are pointless except for leveling up Overall, don't change a thing about the actual gameplay, but these other things seriously need a do-over..Version: 1.7.4
✓ Classic mode should never be added back.I have never left a review for anything before but this game mode is so terrible I have to. I love the game when it’s played normally, half the time, but recently I played the “throwback” mode where they bring back this god awful way of playing. Instead of the simple drag and shoot it’s a two meter system that won’t even allow you to finish half the courses on time. Never do this again. Never. I would pay money to not have this mode in the game. P.S. be ready to Smurf if you get to about 500-600 trophies too early you’re gonna be playing level 25-35+ with extra elixir, shot cooldown, strength, speed, accuracy and knowledge of maps, portals, shortcuts and it’s just not fun..Version: 3.0.7

Also the portal map you get the chance to be stuck in an infinite loop so you can’t play lost way to many times due to it. ✓ This game is annoying.This game is fun when you first start playing because you’re leveling up fast and upgrading your player, but once you get past the bots in the first few levels, it gets ridiculous. They match you with other players based on how many trophies you have, so you’ll end up being a level 11 with all your states upgraded to level 3 or 4 and you’ll be playing against 3 guys who are level 25+ and have all there stats double yours. How are you supposed to win that when there ball can go further, faster, and they can shoot quicker. I get lucky everyone once in a while and my trophies will go up bu then I play 2 more matches and i just lost 100 trophies where as I only gained 40 or 50 in the 2 or 3 matches I won. If they made the matchmaking against the same level players as you rather than how many trophies you have the game would be much more fun and more based on skill rather than whose played the game more. Anyways...don’t play this game until they update the matchmaking or get rid of the skills you upgrade and make everyone even..Version: 1.13.8

✓ Could be fun. But mostly for kids with a credit cardThe Stickman Golf franchise was great. This game is the opposite of that. It basically plays like Mario Kart, where the leader can suddenly be hit with the blue shell only to lose the entire race despite having had a massive lead and all without the fun of actually racing. Since the golf balls literally bounce into one another and you can ONLY play an online version of it against other people, it’s just pure luck. If someone’s ball lands on yours, you literally cannot shoot your ball until they’ve moved it. Nevermind that it’s a race and so you’re playing a race game where you’re repeatedly stalled out. Skill is maybe 5% of this game. It’s basically just a money grab kind of game. You may as well pay to build a farm because it’s the same style of game. Despite its polished look, Noodlecake deserves absolutely no praise for ruining the franchise of their otherwise very enjoyable golf game. Meaning that if you start doing good, you’ll just be thrown into a game with with other players who are twice your level. They’re power, accuracy, and cool down are double what you’re currently at. I shouldn’t have to explain why that’s a major flaw. So be prepared to be extremely frustrated as you’ll be in a consistent back and forth of losing and gaining trophies. And of course how do you level up? Not by winning games, but by unlocking gear. And how does one unlock gear at a pace that isn’t excruciatingly slow? You guessed it, buying packs and pumping money into the game. In short, it’s just another pay to win to freemium that uses luck and frustration against you by setting up system to do so. Started out fun, I was winning against players at my level (beginner, never played the game before), opening packs etc. Then I started getting matched up against players level 10-20+ as a level 4!! This might not seem such a big deal but the whole idea with levelling up power ups in this game means that these higher level players were hitting it further, more accurately, and the worst part was, their cool down between shots was so much quicker than mine that it was almost impossible to win any holes! ✓ Fix Levelling SystemI know that free to play games make more money so that’s fine that you guys went down that road. But there’s a right way to do it and a bad way and this game has definitely landed on the wrong side. To have a game where it doesn’t matter how well play affect your level is ridiculous. If you play well all it affects are your trophies which are completely meaningless besides matchmaking. What levels you up and unlocks new content are loot boxes and micro transactions. This isn’t hard to realise, not having the players time respected is scummy. Let me explain, To level up up you have to get your XP bar filled. To do this you have to get XP, not from playing the game, but from unlocking golfers and hats. To unlock these items you have to get cards from a loot box. To upgrade those items to get the XP you also have to spend money. You can level up just from not playing the game it’s honestly ridiculous. This is an easy fix too. You play the game you earn XP. ✓ Pretty good, just some problemsThis game is pretty addictive, it definitely fills the same void of time that other mobile games do. The ability to improve stats is pretty interesting and incredibly satisfying. However, there is an issue with certain level designs conflicting with the matchmaking system. In Golf Blitz you are matched up with people based on your trophy count regardless of golfer level. Most of the time it doesn’t matter, they just swing slightly faster. But some levels don’t require precision or accuracy or strategy. It merely depends on whose ball can go the furthest, or who has the shortest cool down between strokes. It ruins the competitive atmosphere and really ruins the experience in total. Finally, ball collision, it is an issue when shooting at the end and you cannot go above other balls—which is complete garbage—and are forced to be in last place if the people further ahead than you are worse than you. It is also an issue when you are stuck beneath somebody with a poor connection, and so a forced into last by an annoying mechanic. It is only a problem in one other scenario, when a ball hits one stick to purple goo, the stuck ball becomes unstuck, which is completely infuriating and feels like sabotage and again, ruins the experience. Overall the game is good, not great—as it could be—but it is addicting. But the negative elements are truly crippling and could use some minor touch ups to make this game great..Version: 1.6.3
✓ This game really ticks me off now...At first it was good but the more i play the more annoying it is especially considering any time another players ball somehow gets on top of yours and you go to hit it only their ball goes somewhere then your time limit resets again and that is so stupid. If anything they shouldn’t reset the timer again. I understand it’s competitive or whatever but it’s so stupid that you have to wait for them to hit the ball then you can finally hit yours. ✓ Losing connectionI did love this game up until about 2 weeks ago I’m constantly losing connection right in the middle of games, it has never happened before then. And yes my connection is good, it does it while connected to my wifi, friends wifi and using phone data. Only in the last couple of week it has started happening. ✓ Good game, needs better matchmakingI changed my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars. This is because th matchmaking is horrible and needs a complete new way of getting into games. It is infuriating. After you play a few games, you will occasionally notice a couple of people at slightly higher levels, with only a small advantage over you. This escalates quickly, and after a few hours of playing the game you are being matched with people often double, triple, quadruple or even quintuple your level, and you can’t even compete against them. ✓ The Worst Coding I’ve ever seenI’ve played this game day in and day out and I can’t ever find a day in which there isn’t another player who has worse luck than me. The game never ceases to amaze me at the fact it’s core competitive nature is mixed so heavily with RNG luck which never seems to go the way of the higher skilled player. Never mind the fact that it’s coded within 1v1’s that you come up against 2 players you already played against 3 times. How awful and what’s worse is the game never seems to fix the imbalance it has. Given that you make a competitive game, it’s quite odd to find updates never balancing the game and often making it worse. Don’t download this game, the higher you get, the worse the game becomes. ✓ Awful GUIFor starters (quite literally), there is no option to access the menu and turn off the annoying music in the tutorial. I would’ve really appreciated being able to actually hear my phone call while playing through it. Secondly, the GUI is way too unnecessarily bloated and full. There is too much going on in the menu screen, and some of the important menu buttons are poorly placed. The menu is almost incoherent with the placement of the buttons, so once I got out of the tutorial, it took longer than it should have to access the settings. Thirdly, the controls are counterintuitive. The controls may seem simple, but the design of the aim curve is horrible. RNG should not exist in a game like this, especially when you are pitted in a race-style game that’s basically pay-to-win with power-ups. That brings me to my last point. Implementing slow animation times, teeing off, and gravity makes the game nearly impossible to play in short rounds, which when paired with the tutorial with no menu buttons at all, the beginning was an awful experience to just get to the main menu. tl;dr This game is an unintuitive money-grab that preys with its cartoonish looks yet is effectively poorly designed overall..Version: 1.10.4

I’ve noticed people have been winning 1 v 1s though more questionable methods. For example one player I played against won by somehow making my golf ball to never go near him. ✓ Poor serversThis game has the potential to be one of my favourite mobile games. It’s fast paced, competitive, quirky and rewarding. However, the servers and my connection to matches is absolute pants. I don’t think I’ve had a day where I don’t have any connection issues, and it always seems to be when I’m one or two strokes from the hole, subsequently leading to my loss of the entire game and hard earned trophies as other ‘players’ are somehow allowed to continue play while I watch a load screen. ✓ AwfulI’ve spent too much time of my life playing this game. They set up a massive paywall in order to upgrade your golfer past a very mid-tier level and can only level up by buying cosmetics and ball upgrades further making the process longer. To buy those upgrades you need bux which you can take weeks and weeks to get enough of to upgrade one or two times, or can spend $20 and upgrade one or two times in one day. Both are scammy and set up as a massive money grab over a quality game. The matchmaking itself is also atrocious. It is rare to ever play someone near your golfer level once you’re past a level 8 golfer which takes no time at all. I consistently play level 10+ higher leveled golfers and makes it nearly impossible to play well unless you’re perfect. And once you upgrade to higher levels you get your elixir faster to use the power ups. They do this matchmaking and upgrade scheme it appears simply to entice oneself more and more into spending real life money on the game even tho $20 will make the smallest impact imaginable on your actual progress. Let’s start off with this: There are powerups in the game that allow you to get an advantage, which is sick in my opinion. However, some of these are good(speed ball) and some are horrendous(sticky ball).This would be fine if you actually got to CHOOSE WHICH POWERUP YOU WANTED, but you don’t. This means that often times you get terrible powerups while your opponents get great ones. Secondly, the wait times. The time you have to wait to open card packs which contain cosmetic items is terrible. It is so bad, that you frequently pace back and forth around your house waiting nervously to open a 12 hour card pack until finally, you cry from waiting so long. I have had so many games in which I have had the lead and then gotten last place because someone knicked my ball with theirs and it completely destroys you. ✓ Microtransaction BlitzI was disappointed Noodlecake released this instead of SSG4, but I still think the game itself is pretty fun. However, my issue is with the pay-to-play, predatory microtransaction scheme that has been implemented for Golf Blitz. First of all, after you level up the first few times it begins taking FOREVER to collect enough cards to keep leveling up after that, unless you start paying for gems and higher-level card packs. But even then, even if you buy the highest-level card pack - the Uber pack - you still might only get enough cards to move up one level. And, like in my case, over half the cards in mine were repeats for golfers/hats that I already had, so it was basically throwing $20 away. Ridiculous. If someone is dishing out $20 it shouldn’t be all left to chance like that, you should be guaranteed to get new items. It seems scammy, especially when there are probably lots of younger kids playing this. Frankly, that much money should be enough to unlock the entire game, not just a measly incremental increase and a bunch of items you already have. The ball won’t follow trajectory, the timing will be off, it will bounce differently, etc. But the newest thing they started doing is a doozie. It seems they got lazy and just don’t care, now they will lag freeze you while everyone else plays on. I play this game from the exact same spot 99% of the time where I have no signal issues. When you manipulate a game people pay for, that’s stealing. The weekly challenges are ridiculous. Gravity is much different and why even have rounds if you’re going to have people lose to the same person back to back to back? We’re not at the same round and not playing for the same thing how does that make sense? You start getting matched with players 10+ levels above you, making your chances of winning extremely slim. And then it becomes difficult to gain levels to upgrade your ball and be on par with higher level players without spending real money. This portion gets a pass because I do understand this is a business. Furthermore, the connection issues are horrible. At times the game seems to require more bandwidth then a full gaming console which is ridiculous. You start the game late, hit the ball, your ball appears somewhere else, and next thing you know, you’re down 50 trophies. Overall, it is a fun game to play to kill time and get a few laughs in.
