Cessabit: a Stress Relief Game for Negative User Reviews

I feel cheatedI paid for the app. It states 33 levels, I got 12. All other levels are locked. It says no in app purchases. Can someone help? I liked the 12 I got. I gifted to grandkids. But $1.99 is too much for 15 min of play..Version: 1.4

Not worth it if you actually want to relaxStresses me out trying to figure out what it wants me to do, and actually frustrates me more than relaxes me. It’s pretty easy to figure out usually, however I was looking for an app to chill me out not make me tap a screen a million times looking for clues..Version: 1.4

This is one of the more stressful games I’ve triedI don’t write reviews often, but this game rates one. What “Thu” wrote EXACTLY illustrates my feelings. I’m deleting this game - and I wish I could get my $2 back. This was terribly frustrating, I’m going back to reading news on the Coronavirus. It’s more relaxing than this game..Version: 1.4

Wrong answer4 of the 5 puzzles on the first level had multiple wrong answers. Don’t buy.seeking refund..Version: 1.4

This isn’t relaxingIt’s an annoying memory game. The concept is well executed but ultimately flawed. Having to remember trivia about a ‘thing’ is just frustrating..Version: 1.3

Haptics hit and missThe title says it all; taping on the screen is not consistent so when questioned you may not have seen all of the story board. Maybe you shouldn’t be allowed to check your memory until all objects/ events have been experienced?.Version: 1.3

Most Infuriating GameActually creates anxiety because all the answers are wrong. Am I missing the point ? Is it a joke?.Version: 1.4

I wanted to like it more...... but I just can’t. It’s a good effort and it is visually appealing but adding more “meat to the bone” would go a long way to bolster the game. The art style immediately reminded me of Hidden Folks and I was looking forward to some laid back gameplay. Ultimately, I found the need to memorize details in order to pass the quiz at the end of the level to be pedantic rather than relaxing. Going back to the example of Hidden Folks, there were lots of things to find on most levels and you didn’t have to find everything to advance. The perfectionists amongst us could spend their time finding everything or come back later for that warm and fuzzy feeling. In Cessabit, the levels only had a handful of questions about the particular level and on some levels there weren’t more than a handful of elements to ask questions about. The lack of elements, questions, and levels makes for a really quick playthrough with little to no replayability..Version: 1.2

Most frustrating Calm game everFrustrating tapping sliding redoing over and over to find all the hidden answers..Version: 1.5

Barely a gameI expected many more levels. Lower stress? You've got to be kidding.... I'm stressed paying for a game that was so short and just as I was getting into it... Wham... bam.. thank ya ma'am ... Done..fini....over... No more.... That's why only 3* fun but too few levels🥴.Version: 1.3

Wish I could get a refundLiterally thought it was a hidden object game and it’s absolutely not..Version: 1.5

To The Person Who Said It’s Not Stress Relieving...You are correct. You’re swiping around and tapping random things because there is no real rhyme or reason to why anything occurs. The game mechanics are just to manipulate the scene until you find everything, but it doesn't even indicate if anything is still missing. It almost supposed to be like an interactive ISPY, but it fails so bad that I wish I could get my money back. It’s as if it was made by an artist with not one idea about game design..Version: 1.4

Not colourblind friendlyHaving a black and white app that is impossible if you’re colourblind is cruel. Not relaxing for all..Version: 1.3

Not relaxingI expected a meditative experience, getting into the images to absorb the details. This was partly accurate, but made difficult by Controls that seemed inconsistent. Some of the images are disturbing (downed planes, sinking ship) and the music induced a sense of anxiety over time..Version: 1.4

Rather pointlessGenerally like puzzle games but find this rather pointless. Also agree with one reviewer regarding some wrong answers. Waste of money..Version: 1.4

Not stress relievingThis seems more like a strange test than a stress reliever. Seems more like you’re *wasting* time rather than killing it. I guarantee you will just find yourself going back and forth between screens ad infinitum. Where’s Waldo is much better. I feel like I was duped out of $1.99..Version: 1.3

CessabitIt’s broken!!!.Version: 1.4

Mediocre at best!!The tutorial is needed and the developers need to give more time to this!! Allow the paying users to go back and access the tutorial, just like repeating the games..Version: 1.4

This app stinksThe questions don’t match up with the images sometimes. Does the exact opposite of it’s intention. It’s infuriating garbage app. Would like my money back..Version: 1.4

Colors don’t show up on iPhone 10xColors don’t show up on iPhone 10x. Only occasionally..Version: 1.3

A little glitchy, but funI wish there were more levels, and that the interactions were more consistent, but i like the art and it’s a fun little puzzle memory game..Version: 1.2

Relaxing? NoWants you to memorise EVERYTHING in a little cartoon and then quizzes you on the tiniest detail. On which planet is that relaxing?.Version: 1.3

Not “Calm”I regrets this purchase. While visually pleasing, the tap/swipe feature to reveal clues didn’t work that well. Leaving me less than calm and totally frustrated. Good concept, frustrating experience..Version: 1.4

This game is not for meI love puzzle games, relaxing games. This game isn’t great..Version: 1.4

Not a bad gameIt was a decent game but entirely too short for the cost..Version: 1.3

Really not for meVisually pleasing but not really a game so much as a memorization app. I wish they had made demo levels so I knew what I was getting into. I probably should have watched a play through on YouTube or something though first.Version: 1.3

Wouldn’t purchase againThe choices for at least a few of these are not accurate. There will be two trees In a picture but the choice is 1,3,4,5. The city scape has three yellow windows but that is not a choice. If it was accurate I would like this. Feel like I just wasted money :/.Version: 1.4

Okay game but not for meThis is a good game for babies, or maybe people who don’t like games. It requires no skill, and brings very little in the way of feeling accomplishment. Also I noticed a glitch where about 50% of the time, if I finished or lost a level, I was met with a white screen with no prompts or way out of it other than to kill the app. Overall not a great experience. I only felt inclined to review it because I paid 2 bucks for it. It should be free, until the developer can assure it’s worth the money. There seems to be a trend of just making a really easy, half put-together game, slapping some ethereal music behind it, and calling it a “stress-relief” game. Which is ironic, given how the constant bugs made for a pretty stressful experience.Version: 1.2

GlitchyNeed to be updated I am unable to get back to the level I was on, sometimes it take me to a different level once incorrectly answered a question, but otherwise i was happy. I have requested a refund..Version: 1.5

Boring and Controls TerribleJust not a good game, half the controls for stuff don’t work, no colorblind option, the game froze on my three times, I uninstalled it. Wouldn’t recommend. Seems like an easy cash grab after hidden folks, copying art style..Version: 1.2

Save your $I really love the concept of this game, but there are some pretty major problems. 1. Not enough levels. I assumed there would be a decent amount of levels, but as of right now, there aren’t. I finished them all in about an hour. 2 There is no way to tell which levels you have beaten and which you haven’t. 3. I’m not sure I would consider this game “relaxing”. Some of the puzzle are down right frustrating..Version: 1.4

FrustratingThis is an interesting app. Unfortunately sometimes when I touch the image absolutely nothing happens. I go back later and a few things happen. So when presented with images and questions to answer I have not seen the objects/images no matter how many times I have tapped. When I close the app and go back in one or two appear. Is this supposed to happen?.Version: 1.4

OVERWHELMEDThis is the most aggravating, incompetent, nerve racking stress app I Have ever bought ... SAVE YOUR MONEY & YOUR TIME IT IS CREEPY. APPLE needs to really try out these apps before they ENDORSE THEM ....Version: 1.4

Doesn’t work! When you tap the pictures the game doesn’t work half the time. REFUND REQUESTED!.Version: 1.4

Don’t buyFrustrating and incorrect t answers. Needs attention from developers. Waste of $1.99..Version: 1.4

LogicNothing explains the game clearly. I see 2birds but the answer is 4?!.Version: 1.4

Not at all stress relievingThis game is much more stressful than stress relief, especially with the creepy music in the background. What is more infuriating for me personally is that they will ask you their questions but provide the answers that are completely wrong or make no sense. So either they are not asking the right question or didn’t explain their rules well enough. A couple examples:#1) apparently when you see a bird AND hear bird noises, those noises couldn’t possibly be coming from that bird. Oh no! The answer is 2, duh. Why not add questions that are auditory based observations? Or make some of the puzzles for people that prefer auditory stimulation as a stress relief function? Because in a VISUAL game if I see 1 bird, there is 1 bird. Hear chirping from 1 bird? Then it is liking from that 1 bird you see in the picture... #2) they frame their pictures into the shape of another object. Like in a slice of pizza, then ask how many trees there are......but then proceed to not give you the option for how many trees you saw.... huh? What? Are they counting the pizza as a tree because it’s also a triangle? Why not just ask about shapes? Even though it only cost 2$, it’s a waste of money, I’m never playing this game again. I’m tensing up just thinking about it. Don’t get it..Version: 1.4
