✓ Too much guess workIt’s a good concept but unfortunately some of the countries with lots of small islands are almost impossible to complete even with 2 ‘lives’. After about 30 attempts at Indonesia I gave up and deleted the app 😕.BeastofarrghVersion: 1.8.0

✓ You have to flag every mine before you can winFun game, and the world thing is a cool idea. I like all the different shapes - it’s interesting. When I first started you’d win a board once you got all the non mines (like the original game). Now (I’m assuming since an update) you have to flag every single mine before you can win. What’s that about? Sometimes there are hundreds of mines! It basically just adds an unnecessary, boring minute or two to each game after you’ve already finished it. It needs a ‘flag all remaining tiles’ button or something..M389Version: 1.1.1

✓ This Game Has PotentialThis game started off as a good idea. It still is. The only thing left is for the developers to add the one thing everyone always wanted. New lands. Once you finish all 177 countries, the only way you can do something else is by participating in events or by spending money to buy stars, and only then can you unlock new lands. Also, something they can add is planets like Mars. Then they can expand to other planets of the solar system. ✓ Love this app, but...I love this game and would buy it in a heartbeat, but I get really frustrated with the bugs. It’s really disappointing to be carefully working through a country, like Russia, and be almost finished only to be blown up when I’m marking the mines. I’ve clicked the button hear the click and gotten the cross, but... blown up anyway. Another frustration is countries like Indonesia and Canada with lots of islands being extreme.... when you attempt to work one country repeatedly (literally 20 - 30 or 40 tries) and you can’t get past your 3rd move without being blown up, you begin to wonder if it’s really you. I don’t completely understand the layout trends of bombs as there seems to be some inconsistencies. Sometimes there’s more than one number on a block... sometimes the blocks are connected between the mainland and peninsulas, sometimes they’re not. Would love to have a rules/explanation guide if there is one. I really enjoy this game and it could be an addiction. Would love to work out these issues, maybe learn what I’m missing and could improve on. ..AllAboutDogsVersion: 1.8.0

✓ So many adverts!The game play just like the original and much more rewarding clearing while countries rather than a simple square or rectangle. However this game lets itself down once you make a mistake as you either have to watch a video to undo your last move or after your third error you have to pay 99p to undo the error. Do not be fooled into thinking 99p will unlock multiple undos it just the one. If the developers would give you the ability to have an advert free version with a couple of lives per map then that would make the game near perfect however for the feeling that this is solely for financial gain it gets a single star!.IklefellaVersion: 1.0.13

✓ Good intentions, Bad executionAs much as I do enjoy some classic Minesweeper action, sometimes, the simple things just aren't enough, and you'll need to shake things up every once in a while. This game tries to do so by utilizing real world maps to make the Minesweeper stages, *NOT TO SCALE WITH REAL LIFE MINES!* and it works for the most part. The only problem is that some of the stages are split into multiple islands, and there's no way to know where a mine is at all on these other islands. After you're done on one Island, you're left up to luck to locate a safe spot on another island. When you click on a tile after completing the sections, there is a chance that your first click on the New Island is a Mine. *BOOM* Progress on all the completed Islands gone. It's a relatively small chance, but it's more than enough to have guessing be truely luck based. (It also doesn't help that after you watch a video to undo said move, there was a rare chance that 2 clicks in a row, you could hit a mine. It can and did happen to me.) So unless there's a way to figure out what are the safe moves on multiple islands, It's best to avoid stages with Islands split apart. Developer, if you can read this, can you allow free undo for every stage with multiple islands? Or at least make moves that span multiple islands safe..Da KoopaVersion: 1.0.13

✓ Would be fun, but....It’s a creative approach to a classic that I’ve always loved! Fun design, and a good game to spend 15 minutes or an hour and 15 minutes on. Would normally be about 4.5 stars, but it has forced ads. If you make a mistake and blow up a mine it gives you the chance to watch an advertisement to “undo,” but even if you say no and start the map over it’ll run the ad anyway. Listen, this game is good enough to pay for. I’d happily pay $4.99, maybe even $5.99 for an ad free version and still splurge for a cosmetic or DLC pack occasionally. But “keep your money, we’re showing you ads whether you want it or not” is the kind of thing that makes me abandon apps that I would normally enjoy..KenmorebrianVersion: 1.8.0

✓ Great game, but a few flaws.This game is great if you want a challenge, but sometimes it can get a bit annoying with their take on the game. Mainly, my problem with the game is when there are multiple islands in a level. Half of the time you spend on one level is tapping each island to get a space that you can actually work on. This gets really tedious because you are constantly tapping on an island, losing, and trying again. After finally getting a space on each island, you get three lives but you have to watch an ad for each of them. After that you need to pay money for another life. A tip I have for the developers of this game, is just to make it so that the mines generate once you tap on each island, or at least let us get a space on each island that we can actually work with. ✓ Randomness problemsI have been running into problems with randomness, levels such as the UK with small islands can’t be deciphered by the rest of the map, so one small island with no prompts could ruin the game for you, I would like to recommend to have the game generate around where the player had uncovered first, as to not land on a bomb, on the first turn, where the player has no ability to decide between spaces, it would be wise to present islands separately from mainland areas, to prevent theaforementioned problem.My sad assVersion: 1.8.0

✓ Amazing but slightly flawedI used to love minesweeper as a kid, and this is a great way to change it up a bit and give a real sense of achievement trying to unlock the whole world map. I just have one issue... with the countries being the minesweeper boards (with lots of little nooks and crannies rather than just a square), and the mines presumably randomly placed, occasionally you can get an ‘impossible’ puzzle to solve, where this is no other option but just to guess which square has a mine under it. This can be incredibly frustrating particularly with the larger countries, and especially as a couple of mistakes means you have to start again or pay 99p to continue .... a bit harsh..Jond5215Version: 1.0.13
