✓ Way overpriced for a simplistic gameI understand that the developers are very proud of their AR functionality. And the graphics are extremely beautiful. But the puzzles are too simple to even be childlike, and there are way too few of them. In order to justify this cost, they would have to significantly increase the challenge level of the puzzles and they would have to at least double the number of them. What they have now is a gorgeous game for children with short attention spans. It’s a sadly wasted effort. Tons of form, zero substance..Version: 1.0

✓ Missed opportunityThe idea for the game is good. The interaction is very smooth, if you’re fans of The Room series, then you’ll be familiar, however it is quite repetitive, the formula stays the same, puzzles differed slightly with progression and some even offered potential for little grey cells to work. A suggestion could be as the game progressed you could have made the cages bigger, then made more intricate puzzles. The epilogue promised, unfortunately didn’t deliver. Lastly, I think game is slightly overpriced, would pitch at about £3.99. I’d be very interested to see developments if a 3 comes out, good luck..Version: 1.0.5
✓ Drains BatteryI love these types of games. Great puzzles, but not too difficult, clear graphics, and rewarding results from logically solving the game. However I have to give this 3 stars, as it literally sucked the life out of my iPhone battery. I would have 85-90% battery life, play the game for 10-15 minutes, and my low battery warning would come on! From 85 to 17% in just a very short time. After deleting the game, my battery has been fine. Wish I could have kept it. I really enjoyed playing this game. The first Birdcage game did the same thing to my phone..Version: 1.0.5
✓ Don’t waste your moneyI loved the The Room games, and as a 3D modeling student and experienced graphic designer, I appreciate the work that goes into the creation of similar games. The Birdcage 1 & 2 appeared to offer a similar experience. However, these are a pale copy of The Room and similarly styled games, and are easily completed in only a few hours (if that). The artwork is reasonably decent, but not worthy of charging what they charge. And as a whole, it’s a disappointing game with little story and virtually no outcome worthy of the description they offer. Would recommend you keep looking....Version: 1.0.5
✓ There’s a good foundation but more effort needed on the story and puzzlesNice graphics and UI, but the puzzles are far too simple. The ‘story’ is a bit cliche and simplistic and the secret notes seem like a bunch of gibberish used only for the sake of seeming cryptic. I only played for 15 mins (since the two free packs were so easy) and my iPad battery was drained from around 30% to 5% with a low brightness and volume setting..Version: 1.0.5

✓ 🤦🏻♀️ 🤷♀️ PRICE❗️🙄Downloaded the trial and the "package deal" says 40% off...listed for $0.99. I was eager to pay since that's a fair price for this short game. Maybe even $2 But it won't let you purchase it from the menu. It forces you to go to the App Store where it's $5.99. That's definitely not a fair price for 3 packs (5 levels each) which amounts to MAYBE 30 minutes of gameplay. Considering games like "The Room," "DaVinci" or "Rusty Lake"...which each are incredibly creative and have hours of creative gameplay and puzzles...for only $3-5 each. The game is good and creative. But it's basically linear gameplay and sliding pots around. And it's short. No challenge or logic required. So for me...it's just not worth $6 for 20-30mins of slides and tapping. I'll save my money for the next Room or Da Vinci game.Version: 1.0
✓ Pretty good game.Hi! I gave this game 3 stars because, I really like the puzzles and the creativity on the birdcages! But, their are some things that kinda bother me. First, the fact that there is only 2 free packs and those packs only have like 5 actual puzzles in them is annoying. I am a girl who can’t pay for games and I am very interested in puzzles that I finished the 2 packs in only like 2 days. And that was only thing I could do without paying! Secondly, the gremlin pack was an interesting concept but some of the things I couldn’t figure out. Like when you have to tilt your head to move something, I did and it just wouldn’t move. I tried many different angles and ways to fix this but it wouldn’t work. I finally had to remove the the game because I had nothing to do. Best does that is was an excellent game and puzzle and I would hope that there is more free packs and the gremlin pack would get fixed! Thank you so much!.Version: 2.1
✓ Frustratingly basicGame play requires no thought. It’s like one of those baby’s toys where you put the big square block in your hand (or mouth) in that big square hole right in front of you. Graphically beautiful, including the motion and interface (very similar to The Room series), but please employ some real game design that measures up to and compliments the wonderful visual experience you’ve so far achieved. Otherwise, it’s quickly feels as stimulating as the baby toy. 2.5 stars because I feel it’s only half way there. Rounded down because when I bought the full pack with the first Birdcage (which is exactly the same) there was a specific promise that new levels would be added to that game and included in the full unlock pack. I knew before I bought it that it was bad value, after playing the free sets and seeing how little more came with the purchase. But I thought I’d help the developer and believed they could, and would deliver. Instead they just repeated the same game and asked everyone to pay again. Not cool..Version: 1.0.5
✓ Error in game?!Every time I put the red diamond in on level 1-5 it just glitches and doesn’t let me reveal or change a letter. After resetting it for the 3rd time I’m bored of trying to get past this level!.Version: 1.0.5
✓ Beautiful and too easy...againThese games are really lovely, with stellar graphics and intuitive and responsive touch controls. But the puzzles are way too easy for experienced adult puzzlers. If you like The Room series, you will breeze through these in minutes. But, as with the first game, this is an excellent game for youngsters learning to solve puzzles. Kids will like the story and will be able to solve these. However, it only takes my 12 year old niece a little longer than it takes me, so it’s probably suitable for much younger players. Please ramp up the difficulty of the puzzles in these games!.Version: 1.0

✓ Not very challengingThis game is like a pale imitation of The Room series, each of the cages requires little to no thought in solving the puzzles. However the secret riddle puzzle was pretty intriguing and was a little more entertaining. However it brought into the spot light how annoying it is to go back to the level choosing menu. ✓ Very fun but very priceyThis game is very fun and addicting. Just like the first one, I don’t want to stop playing. That said, it’s really frustrating when in app purchases are so pricey. It’s not that I mind paying for a game, of course developers should be compensated. But $5 for the first version and $6 for the second? Now if you had some sort of discount for bundling them together I would be in. But $11 for some extra levels seems a bit steep to me. Hopefully the developer comes out with some sort of bundle like that. If so I would I would be very inclined to purchase to keep playing. To add, you do have the option of paying $2 per level pack (so you basically get a level pack for free if you buy at $6 for the entire thing) but from what I’ve played and how easy/quick the levels are, $2 a level pack seems like way too much, imo. Either way, I’m excited to see if any other games by this developer come out since I enjoy this one so much..Version: 1.0.5
✓ OverpricedGame if a nice diversion but unfortunately is overpriced at $5.99 for the 3 expansion packs. They sre actually a total of $.02 cheaper if you buy them individually. Developer clsims its cheaper but the expansions cannot be purchased in store....only in-game and it only offers the $5.99 price point. ✓ Good Game But….I enjoyed playing this game to a point, great graphics and I love puzzlers and escape games. But overall this one is just a bit too easy, the puzzles are very repetitive on all levels and most take only a few minutes to complete, it appears the developers just ran out of ideas. I paid for the full game and to be honest I regret doing that. Shame as there are some good ideas in the game but it just isn’t challenging enough. I would recommend playing the free levels but don’t spend out on the full game as there isn’t a lot more to the full game than you’ve already done in the free section..Version: 1.0.5

I’ve been playing other games like the room and I’ve just downloaded ‘The House Of Da Vinci.’ And personally I think that they were totally worth it. ✓ It had potential but it wasn’t realised.Navigate around the 3D cage, collecting gems and solving puzzles to release the creature inside. It’s a nice concept on paper. The issues I found were: - The story plot seemed to switch and change and never reached a conclusion that explained anything. - The gem scrolls didn’t make any sense. - You couldn’t see or interact with the creature. - The puzzles were super easy. - The gems were easy to find. - It’s pretty expensive for an app considering the holes in its execution. - It got pretty repetitive..Version: 1.0.5
✓ Great game. Beautiful.I really like these games and can’t wait for the next one. However, I’d like to be able to reset the game once I’ve finished but don’t seem to be able to do so. Please let me know how to do that. I thought I’d submitted this awhile ago, still haven’t heard anything. Update: I wanted to replay the game, start over. ✓ Beautiful but boring.This is absolutely the most boring, escape game I have bought to date. Saw comment from developer that later levels (Phoenix, Dragon) were more difficult, so I bought whole game. No real change in difficulty, just additional moving pieces. The puzzles are repetitive and very easy. The story, although the most interesting part of the game, has nothing to do with the actual game. Great graphics and controls, but wasted on this game. ✓ Has potential to be 5*It’s a very good game - however... levels are too simple. Too simple to pay £5.99 for. Not very challenging..but still fun to do. I did the 2 free packs on this game & before I started, my iPad was almost fully charged (97%) after about 15 minutes I felt my iPad getting extremely hot so I closed the app & noticed my battery had gone down to 28% in the space on 15 minutes. There are three jewels in each level which should be difficult to find. However the first two are usually just sitting there and the third is not hidden very well. I love the addition of the magic wand (in theory) but there are only two spells in the first two packs and both do the same thing. ✓ Way to short and overly simple puzzle gameThe game looks cool enough but the lack of content in the first few levels is just way to simple for me and my children of 7 and 11 years. I would have been more interested in purchasing levels if the first 10 available couldn’t be easily solved in 20-30 minutes by most players. I expect more of the same in the rest and there is no interest in playing levels over again once you finish them. Perhaps if there was a leaderboard feature to compete with friends for best time but I’m not even sure this is worth paying for more levels. ✓ Battery useFantastic game with great thought into it love the puzzles and more but biggest issue with both bird cage games is that that burn through the phones battery life so quickly it’s not funny and while playing it also heats up my phone as well. ✓ Completely Devoid of SoulThis game tries very hard to emulate the style of the Room series by Fireproof Games and just falls flat on its face. It’s first mistake was limiting itself to the same basic shape for each level, a birdcage, which prevents things from ever feeling new or exiting. The controls are oddly unresponsive at times, and in general the game just feels... rushed? If you want a better rip off of the Room series, try The House of Davinci, that game is a bit rough at times but it comes much closer to the amazing feel and atmosphere of the Room. Better yet, if you haven’t already, just play the Room series, there are four installments in the series and everyone is amazing. A new one is coming soon for VR as well..Version: 1.0.5

✓ Good try.I really enjoyed the first Birdcage game and played it a bunch of times before realising you guys made a second one. Upon playing it, I don’t find it as magical as the first game. The cages are boring, the music makes me want to quit even though it’s just a deeper / darker version of the first, the puzzles are pretty much the same as the first game minus some new additions like the drawing. The games story doesn’t attract me unlike the first game which drew me in from the very start in the bluebird pack which prompted me to buy the additional packs after playing the first level so I could finish the story. Stories that have an emotional affect on you makes it so beautiful but this games story didn’t have that effect on me and I really didn’t care what would happen next. Good game but I don’t think i’ll buy the packs to finish it though..Version: 1.0
