✓ Good but...This game is very good and has lots to do but it does have a few annoying things! The fact we have to waste stars to speak to people is a waste of time because everyone just skips anyway... everyone just wants to fix the garden! The fact the mother is still there and made lily get her a car really got on my nerves because that made lily look like a push over🤷🏻‍♀️ also when she won the case and the mum said ‘we’re rich’ lily should’ve kicked her out at that point. I really dislike the side characters and I’ve wasted so many stars just to skip passed what they talk about and I think it’s a waste of time and those things should be free because the levels get extremely hard after 1000.AmyhahahahahVersion: 1.84.2

✓ Could be 5 stars!!I am really enjoying the story line and characters in this game, but I am recognising the trend that developers of these games often seem to follow. 1) objects need 3 goes to be removed, 2) an object regrows if not removed, which means that 3) there are not enough moves to complete this go. Unless you are going to give me a well paid job, and pay for my child care, then I will not pay out money on in app purchases. Unfortunately this does mean that I will have to delete this game soon, which is a shame as I am enjoying it, and I understand that the developers have to make their money too, but I have more important things to spend my minimum wage on..Ambi1Version: 1.34.0

✓ Play problems corrected (update)I really enjoy this game and it is addictive, BUT, over the past 10-14 days I have experienced the game unexpectedly closing. During one period that I was able to open and it be stable, I contacted Customer Support and explained the problem. Their response came back within five hours, which was great! They said I should update to Version 1.65.1 as I was one of many to report stability problems, and they gave me a lot of coins. The Next day V 1.65.1 came out and I updated. For the most part game play got better (fewer kick outs). Then came Version 1.66 and I’m back to square one! Sometimes, I’m able to play a level but when the screen refreshes, bye-bye desktop time. I’ve tried to contact CS via the game nine times with each attempt to fail so maybe this way they’ll see it! Not my choice but no alternative. I play on an iPad Mini 2 and keep the iOS and games updated. Update-CS is on the spot. They contacted me and they are working hard on correcting the game performance. Today came hot-fix Ver. 1.66.2! Still kicked me out, but only once. Game loads faster and seems more stable. Probably the best CS staff of any game I’ve played. They listen and work to correct issues..OldZCarGuyVersion: 1.67.0

✓ Love it ,but frustrating at times.I love the game and having to work for stars and money otherwise it would be pointless. I do think the amount of coins you earn and especially only 1 star on each completed level is disproportionate to the amount of stars you need to do tasks and the amount of coins (900) you have to spend to gain five extra moves is too high. Having to use a star to start a new day ,or make a usually pointless phone call or conversation is a bit over the top in my opinion. Some levels are really hard further on , I love the challenge but if you’ve only got 5 lives it becomes frustrating and at times I’ve come close to giving up and deleting the app. I appreciate you need money to develop update and run the app , but the in game purchases and the “offers” are very expensive for what you get. I don’t mind paying a little bit but I won’t pay that much for those. ✓ Very funThis has to be the best mobile game I’ve played! I knew it was a candy crush type game but the story completely blew me away! I love the detail in everything and I love watching the little episodes that are like rewards after finishing hard levels. I love decorating the garden as well though I wish there was a way to change a design that you don’t like. It is super cheap, I haven’t had to spend a single penny because I’m always given free boosters and infinite hearts. It’s amazing when so many other games are quite stingy..MellmooVersion: 2.42.0

✓ Bugs make this irritatingUnlike other merging games, which I love, bugs and or limited lives make this game impossible to keep playing. The graphics and games themselves are very enjoyable, however, it’s impossible to spend a great deal of time if the infinite timed lives reward doesn’t work or you don’t buy them. This requires real money to get anywhere. And there hasn’t been enough of a hook yet to make me do that. The bugs seem to have stopped things loading, rewards from being given etc. Because of that, I’m reluctant to pay anything towards getting more lives until these are fixed - I don’t trust the purchases would actually appear. I had a run of winning and extended lives and got quite hooked. However, bugs meant these were lost, I got stuck on several levels making progress impossible unless I spent money - which I won’t do when the basic game fails to reward or load. Shame - it could be much more successful. I’ve spent a fortune on merge dragons and the rewards for this are much greater and the playability too. There are things in merge dragons to keep you in the game even if you run out of money to spend or spend none. ✓ Garden FightsLily’s Garden is a great game but like any game it has a couple of annoying points. If you get totally stuck on a level then you’re stuffed ! You can’t skip the level or go back to it later, you can just spend days on end bored rigid trying to get past it! You also have to waste valuable stars pratting around dealing with the idiot Blaine (ex boyfriend) or doing things like feeding neighbours dog etc etc .... Also, you use a star to make phone call, but then use another star to actually talk to them .... wish we could control the waste of stars better. One excellent point of this game is the staff are brilliant to deal with if you have a query or a problem. ✓ Underrated Game!!This is the best game I know exists. It doesn’t need internet (unless you’re starting a new day), plus, it’s super fun because it can be challenging but most of the time it’s simple. Usually I don’t like things to be too simple otherwise I get bored, but this game makes being easy enjoyable for me. All the cool characters being constantly introduced make it so full of new things, and it doesn’t just the stay the same for literally sooo long. Plus, whenever you’re renovating something there are usually choices of what the finished product will look like, which by the way can be changed later if you decide you want to update it, and the options aren’t too similar, so there is something for everyone to pick and like! Doing things costs different amounts of stars based on how big of a job it is, I like that it makes it more realistic in a way, say it would cost more money to build a balcony than plant a few flowers. So in my opinion, this is the best game ever!!! We need some more outfit designs, though, guys!! But still, overall it is an amazing app in general, and that is why I think you should get it, too! Some more difficult levels should earn you more stars and the 900 in game coins it takes to continue on in a level is way to steep! ✓ I’m back!I signed off last Christmas due to the game being so addictive that I stayed up several nights until sun up. I had also played out most of it and waited for the developers to catch up. I loved the story, the mystery and the twists. The characters are well written (not like other games that left me bored and back to playing solitaire for stimulation) and the games are challenging. I am so glad to be back! THE BEST GAME EVER and great customer support. They reply within 24 hours with solutions, and real human interaction. As a retired teacher, I had fun finding spelling or grammar errors just to contact them. They are currently working to get me back to where I was when I left but if I have to rebuild, I could choose new landscaping. I wouldn’t be upset. I am that happy to be back! My suggestions would be to allow the user to scroll back over the garden being renovated to choose the new look and make sure it works with items chosen in the past. I had a couple styles of gables in the mansion that were mismatched. I also agree that going inside (especially the mansion) and redecorating would be fun (if they haven’t done it yet). ✓ Love this game except...After you complete every level. No matter the difficulty you get 50 coins, then you get 1 coin for each move you have left. Typically the pay out per level is between 50 and 75 coins... just to continue playing a difficult level which just give you 5 more moves is 900. Coins are hard to earn and too easy to spend. I also don’t understand why after you finish the level it throws all your extra moves onto the game board as power ups and they activate sometimes clearing game pieces... what is the point of playing that out when it doesn’t actually do anything for you. Either way you only get 1 coin per move left, the extra moves playing out in the board does nothing. 15,000 coins just to change Lily’s outfit to a Halloween one for a few days 😱(you only earn 50 to 75 per game...) Anyways I still gave this 4 stars because I enjoy the story line and the game play is fun. I only recommend from a player POV that if you are going to have different levels of difficulty, increase the reward and if you are going to bother throwing the remaining moves onto the board and it plays out well, then award it as such. But after seeing a YouTuber (Mattshea) attempt a few small mobile games, including Lily’s garden, I wanted to give it a shot. I’ve actually run out of levels as of today! ✓ Flower Flipping Fun!This tile tapping game is easy to pick up and fun to play with a story that you want to see through. The characters are funny, the graphics are colourful and gameplay is rewarding. Yes some of the levels are harder than others (it’s kind of the point, if not there would be no challenge!) but persistence, a little skill and good old luck of the drop and no level is unbeatable. Since I know people who spend weeks getting past a level on a certain Candy game, I think it safe to admit that there will be challenges here also but nothing that can’t be beaten... eventually! ✓ Too much luck Not enough skillI play several games like this. I do not care anything about the storylines in these types of games. When I have acquired several hundred stars I will go in and work on her garden just to relax but it is not my main motivation (I always skip the story line ). My motivation is to use my skill in solving each level of the game. My biggest complaint about this game is the rockets. The direction of the rockets cannot be manipulated so the player cannot strategically manipulate them to aid in beating the level. The game needs to involve both SKILL and luck. This game by far is just a matter of how lucky you get in the direction of rockets. Another issue I have with the game is the limited number of tries you get before you are out of time. This game only gives you four tries before requiring you to acquire more lives (which I never pay for). Most other games I play give five tries. And my favorite game Lost Island gives seven tries. Lost island is the perfect example of a game which requires both luck AND skill. It’s very rewarding to know that your skill has helped you win a level and that you really do get better developing your skill as you level up..NCKJMVersion: 2.14.2

I tend to have a selection of 3-5 puzzle-type games that I play most days to relax a little. “Lilly’s Garden” is the only game I’ve played for months without pausing for a while or abandoning all together. The graphics, the story and (perhaps, most importantly) the levels have been keeping me super involved for weeks on end. Sure some days I’m only up for a couple of levels while others I’m at it for hours (I do have a life, I promise haha) I have never experienced any bugs some of the other players have mentioned, but maybe that’s just luck, I’m not sure. I LOVE how you can see the game evolving with story progression, but also new little buster bundles added to help get through an occasional super hard level. You DO NOT have to spend any money if you don’t want to, the game is manageable enough to get through with what you are given and with a number of little events you still get to experience all the different busters and bonuses. Before I knew it, I was caring for Lily and her friends, and I often get emotionally involved whenever something bad happens. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve appreciated that. ✓ Simple yet entertainingI Ive always liked puzzle games to pass time when I’m bored on my phone, so I decided to give this one a try since I kept seeing gameplay from ads and I hated the game mechanics from other puzzle games I tried. I’ve had this game for a little over a month now and I actually enjoy it more than I thought I would. I most levels I’ve completed on a puzzle game was about 1200 or so because after that the levels became too hard and pretty much forced you to pay to win. However this game seems to be pretty simple to win without paying for extra help. I love that there are bonus levels and it’s helpful sometimes to be in a guild if you end up needing extra lives. Although there are so many good events going on constantly that make it easier to play instead of having to wait for lives to replenish. This game makes it feel like you are progressing and it doesn’t make you feel as bad if you lose compared to other games. Decorating the gardens is quite a treat too and the options are great. The story is great too. However: - I don’t get why the ads that I saw promoting the games showed elements that are not part of the game at all - Why do you need to spend stars that are hard to get sometimes to talk to a character, arrange a party and other activities not really related to decorating the garden? - When I started the game, a full bar meant 5 lives. Now after an update, it’s down to 4. What happened there? - I love the fact the game suddenly offers you free games for an hour or more. I just wish you have an option to save/store those hours and choose when to use those free hours. ✓ Great, but annoying at timesOverall I am really enjoying this game. Without too much effort you can get unlimited lives for half an hour or an hour once a day. I find the story compelling which makes this different to some matching games. Designing the gardens is another added bonus. The standard 4 or 5 lives is not that many, I never play this game when I don’t have the unlimited lives, just wait till the next day or so then play again. Only negative is that certain levels are unfairly hard. Some I have had to go through over 10 times to complete using lots of my extras (obviously this is to get you to pay for extras, but see my P.S. below :) ). The only gameplay element I don’t like is the green growing weeds! It would make me play the game more if these were removed and never seen again. Overall really enjoying the story and designing the garden. Gameplay would be perfect without the silly green weeds. Also, never had any bugs etc with the game. It runs smoothly and quickly. P.S. The primary reason I chose this game over other gardening games is that in the ads it indicated there would also be some home renovation/decorating. However, being able to change it up some and do some indoor stuff from time to time really attracted me! I really like the story line so far (I’m a little over level 2000) because it seems geared more toward adults and unlike other games, I actually read what’s going on and I look forward to what’s coming up next. The storyline could move along a little faster at some points and truthfully I think it’s hilarious that in the midst of a huge drama, Lily will say “ Let’s plant some flowers before we figure this out” I don’t know anyone in a dramatic escalation that would stop to plant more flowers in that situation. ✓ Heart brokenI absolutely loved this game. For the past month every time I go to play I get the screen up, then it cancels out and goes blank and back to my home screen. First the game would start to freeze and unfreeze. Then if I lost a game, I would get another chance to replay it. If I won a game then I would get my coins and then poof back to the home screen I had to keep opening it back up again to play. I went into the settings on the game and left a message on the support. The next day I got an answer that they would fix the issue, but I would have to go to Facebook for them to do so. I don’t use my Facebook anymore because I am not technically savvy. I responded back to them that and now I cannot keep the game to stay,,,, it starts and then it’s gone back to home screen. I’m so heartbroken because I enjoyed the game and decorating the garden and the story so much. I finally got to the celebration of the trial and now I cannot play it anymore. ✓ Good GameI really enjoy the concept of the game. Repairing the garden is really satisfying and the levels to get the stars are fun. The only downside is that some of the levels are too hard to complete and then interest is lost. I enjoy a challenge but rather than taking a few hours to do sometimes I’ve been stuck on a level for days even weeks and then I get bored and play something else. Find interesting and it’s fun to play, however it is very frustrating to need 3 stars for a scene that leads to the actual task. Also, I’m not sure if this is just me, but I am stuck on level 43. ✓ Great game but based on flawed ideaI really like this game. It combines a nice matching game with a bit of a soap opera. Spoiler alert In the first part Lily and her friends have to overcome various obstacles to eventually restore an estate. That was great. Then Lily decides to donate the estate as a museum and to convert it. Also great. Then she finds that there’s a national park across the road. Firstly she tidied up some rubbish and then I started to object to the story. This is a national park. It should be where native plants and animals grow and thrive. But Lily and her friends rampage through it “weeding” out the actual wild plants which support the ecosystem of the park and replacing them with flowers. Bushes and trees are “trimmed” again destroying the ecosystem. Visitor centres and parking lots are constructed again ripping up and concreting over the natural ecology. We do see how upset some animals are about that but otherwise no one protests. I have had this game on my phone for a few years now and I still love it. It’s really calming, everything is adorable, the story is funny and charming, and the 3 varieties of every changeable items really appeal to many different tastes. ✓ Addictive but...I love this game, I find the puzzles to be very challenging and I love designing the buildings and gardens. I may get around to writing a review on the architectural choices for buildings and the garden themes, because they can be annoyingly disappointing and frustrating at times but I want to focus this review on the points and scoring. I like the challenges you can compete in, in addition to the puzzles but the points awarded for the ‘build a rocket’ challenge for example...makes absolutely no sense. No matter how well you do on a level you can only score 50 points. For every move you have left after you win a level, you get a rocket or a bomb that explode and destroy additional squares. You then get a ranking score on the challenge leader board and that’s where nothing makes sense. I have cleared levels and had 25 moves remaining but my score for the ranking board pops up and it’s a 43, or 67. Huh? Seriously!? I can absolutely crush a level but get a score for the leaderboard totaling less than what I scored on the level itself, not to mention the additional rockets won for moves remaining!? ✓ Absolutely Love Lily’s Garden!I actually have no complaints or requests of improvement because I honestly have never played a game as long as I’ve played this one. I have taken many months long breaks simply due to not having down time but I have had this game for about 3 years and I am at level 1,909. I have seen in your other reviews of people saying it’s too hard to earn coins and power ups but that’s simply not true. I have over 96,000 coins saved up along with 129 potions, 148 bombs, and 159 arrow power ups saved. The reason being is you give so much opportunity and chance to get unlimited lives for x amount of time that I don’t have to use them very often and only use them when the levels are super super hard. Not to mention the detail of the garden is outstanding! It’s truly a beautiful game with a great story line and beautiful graphics. This game is seriously my favorite game that I’ve ever had on any phone. Highly recommend to anyone. I have played all of the candy crush games, homescapes, gardenscapes, pet rescue saga, and so many other “match 3” or “brick breaker” games and deleted all of them before level 100. ✓ Love the look, hate the price and speedThis game is one of my favorite gardening games because the storyline is precious, the graphics are pretty, and the narrative content is a lot less annoying/sexist than other similar-looking games, so I’m really glad for all of those things. After 8 hours of gameplay, though, I’m only two small sections in... and I’m sad to say I’m bored by the puzzles at this point. The gameplay doesn’t advance fast enough, imho— too many simple tasks that just feel overly dramatic. The price is my main concern though; if I wanted to be nickeled-and-dimed for every small thing, I’d just go garden IRL... It loses some of the fun fantasy that the game otherwise would have had going for it. Graphics are good, puzzles are a mix of levels so can be challenging which keeps the game interesting along with the fun story line. But....... So basically, if you are looking for a game that is shown in the ads, this isn’t it. It’s a tile matching game with limited moves with revolving events. I do enjoy the fact that I can pick up and put down the game without any timers, plenty of rewards & the packs aren’t super expensive. They don’t give much coins in the packs or for winning rounds considering it’s 900 coins to continue a game (5 more moves). Winning a game, we get about 50-60 coins. I understand it’s how the game makes money but the ratio is rough. Luckily theirs plenty of unlimited lives bonuses. I just think the games should give at least 100 coins for winning. Cons: I noticed that after some time of gameplay, tiles that I don’t touch get activated instead of the ones I wanted. What I also get a bit annoyed with is the ammount that is recieved from ever level completed. ✓ Excellent New Redo 5*****I reinstalled this game because their ad stated that the problems mentioned below had been removed to a reasonably satisfactory level, so the game could be enjoyed. The developers did a great job of resolving many of the past problems and I have only lost one game after playing about 60 games. They made the match game fun … not frustrating anymore, so I no longer dread the game to get to the story line. So far it is staying true to the new and improved version. Maybe I will finish this time without having to play one single match game 20 or more times apiece to progress in the story. This game was deleted by me about a year ago. ✓ Has potentialThere is a lot to admire about the work that went into this game. The story is engaging, the visuals are well done, the game system has a lot of potential. I’d like to see an option to change design choices after they are made, in case you want a changed look for the gardens... that’d be nice. Cons for me though, are significant and definitely hurt the enjoyment and desire to stay playing. The heart system seems largely counterproductive to encouraging people to play and work at the puzzles until they succeed. The difficulty of the games ramps up far too quickly, leaving people in the position of being forced to buy packages of boosts too often to be viable, or quit in frustration. And to tell the truth, the single star reward is not much of an impetus as you level and doubly so with “hard” puzzles. The rewards should go -up- as the levels climb. Additionally, getting only one star for something that is intended to be extra challenging in the case of Hard puzzles feels pointless and a little extra annoying. On the whole, the game has a ton of fun aspects and potential, and is extremely well made. I just feel it gets in its own way too much and becomes a chore more quickly than I like. ✓ Love this game - but bugsThis game is great! The graphics are great, the characters are funny, the storyline is interesting and the puzzles aren’t impossible. I also really like the design choices. My one problem is that sometimes - especially after an update - the game freezes. It either freezes halfway through the loading bar, or the moment it finishes loading, or the moment I press play the level. And once it freezes it won’t go back. I always close the app and open it but it just keeps freezing at the same place. It goes back to normal after about 24 hours but it’s kind of annoying. ✓ Kind of false advertising?I have been a fan of Lily’s Garden for a couple of years now. I enjoy the games, the storylines, the characters. It’s got a way better UI and concept than many many other games like this. However, my only annoyance of this game is FALSE advertisement. When this company came out with those weird trailers about Lily and this game, I was curious to see how crazy this game was. But it was NOTHING like those trailers. Second of all what happened to the minigames because there not here anymore, like they were here in August and now there gone. Third of all the characters do need more outfits and some really shouldn't be bought for money. ✓ Great game however...I love this game and play it probably a little too much when you hit 3hrs of infinite lives and then get told you’ve used up all your lives is a little bad. ✓ Very funI’m not an avid game player, but I find this one semi addictive yet fun and a relaxing break when I need one. Really has helped during this stay at home year of 2020. Probably one of the positives among all the negatives! I love the combination of the puzzles as well as getting to remodel the property. Love the graphics and storyline. Had to reinstall because of problems. Could be my older iPad mini though. Often it got to where it would crash or in the end just stayed on the middle of one task with the characters moving but in a constant loop. That was one of the levels over 2300, but love it enough to try and start over. — Update— Finally gave up using my iPad mini for this game. Was either going in extreme slo-mo or crashing after every puzzle. Sometimes, crashing during a task(losing stars) or after puzzle completion but before awarding star.(also losing star). ✓ Green fingersThis has got to be the best game I’ve played. I used to love candy crush but it started costing money. This game you can play without spending a penny. Of course you have got plenty of opportunities to purchase boosters other extras but the choice is yours. To be honest they give you lots of free things aswell. They offer sessions of 3 hours free play, 15 mins of free boosters, chances to win coins amongst other things, even sending you these items when you need then the most for example when your stuck on a level. Then even with the fantastic gameplay there is lily and her friends. You get so invested in these characters that it makes you want to blast through the levels quicker. I’m part of a family of 30 fantastic ladies who I have a natter with from time to time and also get free lives and boosters from them as a bonus 😁 My only mini irk is that the pricing isn’t right with the tasks. Having said that, I do have a few suggestions which would solve the issues that cause me to give it 4 stars instead of 5. 1.
