✓ It’s ok but lacks featuresThe game itself is very simple and gameplay is presented in a straightforward manner to the player. However this game is a bit barren in terms of upgrades and what you can do in general with your money. Every new sushi table you unlock is the same deal, just a new skin masking the same old upgrades. Basically, once you’ve unlocked a new table for the first time you’ve already played all the game has to offer (everything after is a complete repeat). My other big gripe with the game is that there is no audio. No background music, no SFX. This comes off as extremely lazy to me and I wish they would add some sort of music or sounds to the game. Then again for such a simple and plain idle game it is doing pretty well in the app store so I suppose it is a testament to how the game is in its current state..Version: 1.1.11

✓ Stop with the adsI understand that this is a free game. Ads are not unexpected, but they become annoying at a certain point. Whenever anything happens in this game, it offers you an ad. The sumo shows up and a big sign pops up on the screen, encouraging you to tap on it. You tap on it, only to be told to watch an ad. Even if you click on the ad, you have to sit though the whole experience. An “X” will pop up, but if you close it too soon, you don’t get the reward. Every single time something pops up, you must watch an ad to activate it. The sumo, the golden sushi, the gifts the sushi chef leaves on the table. Whenever you get a reward for leveling up, it tells you to watch an ad to get more money. I like the idea of optional ads, but they don’t become optional when you have to watch ads to do anything. And it plays ads anyway when you level up! Outside of that, the concept of the game is fine enough. It’s one of those endless clicker style games, except with sushi. I enjoy the gameplay, but the constant nagging about watching advertisements gets on my nerves..Version: 2.7
✓ Ok game.....a few glitches though(Sorry for such a long review!) I’ve had this game for a while, and gameplay wise it’s not that bad. Having to wait to level up in order to earn more cooks is definitely annoying, and it’s also annoying that offline play never earns me as much money or exp as when the app is open. I just get around this problem by leaving the app running when I sleep at night, but leveling up is still annoying when you have to click in order to level up, and it won’t just do it for you. My biggest issue though, is the many glitches I get. Most of the time they’re not too bad, it’ll just reset a chef or two, but this latest one was horrible - it reset my entire game. Not completely, for some reason it didn’t touch the speed and the seating, but reset literally everything else. I still had my money and levels thankfully so I was able to get back to where I was, but that kind of thing should never happen in a game in my opinion. If you get this game, just be ready for anything, cause you’ll never know what’s going to be there when you open the app..Version: 1.1.6

This really annoyed me and I couldn’t be bothered trying again so I deleted it and I’m not planning on downloading it again. ✓ Great for people who love sushiI like how this game works and it’s a nice simple game not a rage type game that you have to start over and over again. The down fault though in my honest opinion is that you have to gain a lot of levels to get to the next chef. I’m still on the starter at level 5 and the next chef is at level 7. It’s a really simple A.F.K graphic game that people will enjoy if they like sushi or they just want to play it. 🍥🍙🍚🍣🍱.Version: 1.4.2
✓ Good time killer but...This is a fun game I enjoy eating sushi and it has a simple design that’s easy to understand. However it does have a few flaws: It’s a typical ad vs. cash grab game. If you want to remove all the adds you have to pay, want a boost permanent have to pay. $7.99 is da WEEK is a bit much. For a month, I might consider it but certainly not on a weekly basis. If you don’t pay it’s nothing but ads, ads, ADS,. Want a boost: watch an ad. Want to upgrade you chef, watch an ad. Want to bonus your level up cash? You guessed it: watch an ad. HOWEVER! I would MUCH rather watch ads than pay that $7.99 weekly fee.(which I might add, doesn’t remove ALL of them completely.) I have already finished the game once and am now restarting simply for lack of anything better to do. I was hoping that once you reached the end of the levels you could, per usual, watch an ad an restart with a permanent boost as in some of the other games greenpanda has. Sadly, no such luck. It’s a good game if you want to waste some time on a break, lunch, before bed etc. but sadly not much better than that. All in all I’d give it a 2 1/2 out of 5 stars. It would be great if they could add a special bonus or feature for completing the game but, well have to see. After this round I’ll likely offload or delete it unless something new comes out. ✓ Too short but fun while it lastedFinished the game in a week. The tenth table is maxed out at ~250lvl. The ads are extremely fair, the graphics are nice and the gameplay works as it was designed. That’s all the praise I have to give because it’s deeply flawed. When completed you want more. Strangely enough, that “more” is not extra tables. Previous tables become meaningless as one sushi at the tenth level costs a nonillion currency(10^30) while two tables down its a septillion currency(10^24) which is comparatively a drop in the bucket. Why bother having ten different tables when they become immediately useless? Could have just saved time programming by having only the starter table to continuously upgrade. When a new update comes out I pray it’s not more tables but instead a prestige system. Force players to prestige previous tables to get enough total output to upgrade instead of relying on just one table. Don’t give them such linear progression that takes the fun out of the game. All this game is right now is a good week long distraction that ends as a lesson on inflation. If that’s the point, the tenth table should have been located in Zimbabwe..Version: 1.9.5

✓ Good game but to many addsThis is a really enjoyable game. The concept is fun easy to grasp and slightly addictive. However, the amount of adverts that you have to sit through is completely unreasonable. To upgrade, level up, unlock items, collect your offline earnings you have to sit through a 30s-1min advert. You seriously spend more time watching adds than you do playing. There isn’t even a skip button. Most games have adverts, but they manage to limit it to a reasonable amount. Not here in this game. ✓ BugThe game worked fine until I was Level 122 - I opened up the game and my progress had evaporated, though not completely, as all chefs were gone and the prices had reverted though I had the full number of seats around the train which was going at full speed. Without much difficulty I bought all chefs back and bumped the prices back up though my level progress never moved from 122. The game isn’t really fun and has no purpose once you finish the game, if you get to finish the game due to the bug. For the most part, it worked well however..Version: 1.1.6

✓ Do the developers look at the reviews?Great game. The overall functionality of it is OK. It’s pretty fast and the pacing is OK as well. The ads you get in the game aren’t too irrational for being a free game. Some are decided upon with power ups and to get the x2 boost. My main issue that seems to not be fixed, despite several reviews complaining about it, is progress disappearing. My personal issue regarding it is that I leveled up to 80 in a night, which took a few hours of my time to get to. When I went back on the app, progressing to any level was not apparent, and it was almost like it was stuck at level 80. I also lost a bit of my chefs and progress into the game, like most people. I played for like another hour, and I didn’t get any progress on the white bar that’s supposed to fill with green to get to the next level. This makes the game practically impossible to progress and to play. So I deleted it, reinstalled it and lost all progress. This is a pretty big game altering bug that is existent. I wish I could get my game progress back, but I don’t see where any developers have given back player’s lost progress. Just be warned if this happens to you. I really enjoy the gameplay, as it is a great time waster and is genuinely enjoyable when it works. I just wish the developers would do something about this specific game-breaking bug, because it’s essentially disheartening when it happens, and leads many people, I’m sure, to delete the app..Version: 1.1.7

✓ What do I do now?Ive maxed out every: table, chef, and upgrade (number of people at the table, money per meal and speed). I thought it would have ended at lvl 150 (since that was close to me leveling up my last upgrade), but the game kept going like normal. I’m now at level 151 with nothing else to do. I double checked every table to see if I missed something, but everything is fully maxed out. I slid my finger down to see if the screen would move up to reveal another table (possible secret table for maxing out every table), but there weren’t any. I slid my finger to each side and there isn’t anything there either. I’ve exhausted all options. There is nothing left to do, and I don’t want to waste my time playing anymore if there is nothing left to upgrade. This is a good time waster, I suppose, but I found it weird that there isn’t an end to this game. How is there not an end to this game? I’ll keep it on my phone I guess in case someone can find an end (so I don’t have to redo all that work), but I’m done playing for now..Version: 1.1.7
✓ As simThis game is an ad sim basically. If u hit level up, ad every time. If u want bonus effect or whatever, ad. It pushes for u to watch ads but doesn’t force u unless u wanna level up. And u level up quick. Literally played for less than an hour or so and already level 20. So I’ve watched about 15 to 18 or so ads. Only way for u to not see an ad every time u level up is if u watch the one for extra cash reward. Which then is 40 seconds and then u end up leveling up again 2 seconds after getting done with the ad so u then have to wait another 5 or 6 seconds before u level up again and end up watching another ad. U don’t end up playing the game all that much. U end up just watching ad after ad. Not worth downloading. I didn’t expect this to be very fun since I literally found this game in an ad. ✓ Room for improvementI’ve been playing this game for a good year now off and on. The reason why I don’t consistently play it and the reason why I’m only giving it 3 stars is because I think it could definitely be improved. After playing it for a few minutes it stops allowing me to click and redeem the “extra” things like the sumo man and the golden sushi for 30 seconds. It also doesn’t let me open up any surprise boxes or let me access the blue book. Another thing it doesn’t allow me to do is click on my chefs to do any upgrades. 4/5 times that I attempt to enter the event area too, the screen goes black and doesn’t load the event as well as it doesn’t allow me to upgrade anything there. This is consistently an issue and I have to close the app and start it up again multiple times. If these things were sorted then I’d play it more often.Version: 2.1.1

✓ Bugs galoreI love this game but I feel that there has been a lot of bugs that aren’t getting fixed. Like whenever upgrading the fish quality after I come back after a bit it says that I have the fish quality is maxed. I have had to delete the game multiple times and it just happens out of nowhere. I got to 1500% fish quality and came back the next day to find this it is broken again. But if I were to delete it again I would have to waste my time again tapping the button like a gazillion times. I think that there should be a button to choose how many times to buy it at a time. Also the leveling up is SOOOOOO SLOW it is impossible to ever level up because you have to sit and press the fish quality button and if it’s maxed out you can’t level up anymore. To do a lot of various progression aspects of the game like leveling up your chefs rating you need to watch an ad. You can use bucks to do that, but if you’ve used all the free bucks you get from the quests the only way to get bucks is to watch ads or pay money. And about the quests, there are not enough of them. There needs to be a type of daily quest system, but I doubt the devs will add it. They seem to only really care for money as all their tycoon games are like this. ✓ Stopped levelling up?,Was really enjoying this game and spent quite a while trying to make progress, but it suddenly reset to Tokyo (while I was currently in Moscow) and wiped all my sushi chefs progress, and the price upgrades. I didn’t lose the money I’d used so far on the upgrades, so I could easily purchase them again, but the problem is for some reason it won’t level up anymore and I’m stuck on level 79 and can not make any more progress. ✓ Too many adsThere are a couple problems I have with this game, most notably the obscene amount of ads that you’re forced to play in order to progress. Ads that are played every once in a while, or to get a boost, etc are fine with me in mobile games, since revenue must be generated somehow. But in this game, you have to watch a 30 second ad every single time you want to prestige your chef, which you must do in order to make a lot more money. If you try to bypass the ads in airplane mode, you simply cannot prestige your chefs unless you spend money on cash, which means you can’t really progress much without an internet connection. You also have about a 1/3 chance in getting an ad when you level up. The other large issue with the game is that once you’re able to get the next table, the previous table becomes completely irrelevant. You go from making 500 on your best roll to 80k on your worst roll. These two aspects made the game extremely pointless and tedious for me..Version: 2.7.3

I am at level 81 but since I levelled up, the level progress bar doesn’t fill up. Please fix this so I can continue with the game! ✓ Needs more levels 😤Hi, I’ve been playing this game for a while now, and I’ve almost completed most of the levels already, and I think something needs to be done about this. There is good graphics and no lagging or glitches, however it doesn’t keep you entertained for long enough, which I feel could easily be fixed by an update adding more levels or new themes, and you could try and vary the levels a bit more, instead of just making them harder each time. Furthermore, this update could add more customisation to the app, producing more players and customers, and making this a worldwide success..Version: 1.1.13
✓ Solid base but VERY intrusive adsThe base game is good. The graphics are well designed and the game runs smoothly. The gameplay itself is simple to learn and quick to master - having the coins accumulate whilst not playing is also a nice touch. However, Sushi Bar is lacking in content as you progress. Every time you complete one area, you progress to a new area with an identical layout and the exact same gameplay. This is the same every time, over and over again. Whilst the gameplay and graphics are good, there is also a disappointing lack of visual customisability to your restaurants... none exactly. The biggest turnoff by far is how intrusive their ads are. When you level up, there’s roughly a 50% chance of having a forced video ad. All power ups can only be activated by watching a forced video ad. Want to upgrade a chef? You got it, forced video ad. It is very easy to be playing this game and hit an unskippable video ad every couple of minutes, some of which lasting up to 30 seconds each. Games need to be monetised however with a £3 option to remove ads and a £7+ a week membership it seems these have purposely been made overly intrusive to push you into paying to remove them. If you want to stay Free-To-Play, this will frustrate you very quickly..Version: 1.4.2

However, the game lacks too much content to warrant a premium pass, making it seem like a cash-grab, and i’m unsure if it’ll get a decent update. Not to mention - the premium itself is lacklustre and not worth £7.50 a week. The premium does not even include no ads - no ads and premium are separate purchases. Finally - there are too many ads. You could say this for most games, however the ads in this game reward you with items like cash or boosters - however when you reach a certain point in the game where all of the upgrades are done with the paid-for currency, the game becomes an ad watching simulator and probably the biggest time-waste on the app store. ✓ Where’s my stuff?I downloaded this game when I got bored and needed something to do. It’s a very visually simple and cute game and, while leveling up and earning the “workers” and the types of sushi takes a long time, it’s still very fun. I have a problem, however: when I finally reached level 98 (after playing for a week or so) all my progress was cleared and I had to purchase everything I had already purchased to get the second to last “level.” I spent my time waiting to level up and playing this game only to have it removed at the last second, which is a shame because I was truly enjoying the game. I’d love for this to be fixed, or for it to be brought to the creators (and others) attention (in case this happens to others or is something that Bryce been trying to fix already)..Version: 1.1.6

Today I was playing on the app completely normal, then closed the app the exact same way as always once I had used all my money. I had gone back into the app about a hour or two later and my progress had been ruined. ✓ The ads did me in…I understand that advertisements are a large part of how ‘free’ app developers get paid. I’ve no issue with watching or even clicking on some of them if warranted. This game though, makes me want to scream. No issues with the frequency of ads, the problem is the way they are forced to the user. First off, many of them are exceedingly long, way longer than other games I play. Once the ad ‘finishes’, it will force open the App Store so you can download it. Once you close the App Store, the advertisement sits there for another 5 seconds before you can finally close it out. The final straw that made me uninstall the game this morning was an advertisement that I couldn’t close out. The ‘X’ was in the corner, but every time you pushed it, it would just open the App Store. Throw in the ads for that kid friendly ‘chapters’ game, where two girls get drunk and ‘experiment’ with each other, men are forcing ball gags into girls mouths, and one guy has his girl wearing a collar and chain and this is an easy decision to uninstall. ✓ Good but needs more levelsIt’s really good I think it’s pretty good to get and fun but it needs more levels especially when you get the 3day trial for the premium thing because I finished the game in 48 hours so needs more levels and maybe not have that 3 day premium but other wise this game is really good and I’d advise others to get it..Version: 2.7.7
✓ The game has a bug...I absolutely loved the game until recently, my game kept resetting itself. Taking me back to the first bar... I was at level 54 so I was doing pretty good but then when I went onto the app, I had to use the first bar all over again, I still have all the money but i ended up using it all just to get back to the normal bar. I am currently on level 114 but I had to restart up to the first bar again, it was extremely hard and tiresome and I still haven’t gotten back to everything. It’s extremely annoying and bothersome but if the game was fixed I’d play it again..Version: 1.1.6

✓ Buggy and PointlessI finished the game. I earned every possible upgrade. When I unlocked that last upgrade, I knew nothing would happen, that there was no point to this. But for some reason, I still hoped a little, I thought maybe there’ll at least be a “congratulations” but nope. Nothing. And I finished it without paying for anything. The ads were over the top, nearly constant and disgusting. The subscription offered which turns out to be completely pointless, was also absurdly and offensively expensive. Disgustingly so. Sometimes watching an ad would make the game freeze. You’d never know when this would happen. As bad as it is and as pointless as it is, I still enjoyed having something to focus on a little bit during difficult times. For that reason, I will give this 3 stars..Version: 1.5.0
✓ AdsNot gonna lie, I’d give this game a 4 star if it wasn’t for how annoying it is when I press the X to get out of something where I need to watch an ad to get it, then it gives me an add anyway and doesn’t give me what I would have gotten if I just watched it for the boost. ✓ Crappy updateI was actually enjoying the game, earning while idle and just keeping it on the back burner as I progressed. It was fun. However, now with this new update (mainly the addition of the Manager) you can only receive up to 30 mins worth of offscreen earnings unless you purchase the Manager, which costs you £10!! Honestly ridiculous, I am not paying any money, let alone £10 for a mundane feature that I had before, for free! Such a pathetic money grab, and a real shame as it’s really decreased the quality of the game - a week ago I would’ve rated it 5/5..Version: 1.5.0
✓ Awesome game but bad way of doing businessI paid for this app 2 weeks ago, unlocked all the features. Now I have lost all the features (no ads etc) and if I want the VIP version now I must pay again but this time not a one off in app purchase but a £7.49 subscription. Sorry but you should respect the customers who previously bought the in app purchase and either refund them or allow them the VIP version if they have bought this app before you converted it to a subscription type of pricing model..Version: 1.1.13

✓ Boring at bestThese sort of idle clickers tend to be boring but I don’t mind them generally. What really got me was the subscription price of $13 A WEEK for premium features! ✓ Good game for about an hourWas ok for about an hour but I have now run out of things to do after maximising my speed, price and seats as well as upgrading chefs. I can still level up more but seems pointless and no longer any input needed from me. Coins keep racking up and now have nothing to spend them on. Would be good if maybe you could buy extensions, start up new restaurants in different regions (this one says Tokyo at the bottom so maybe that’s a future intention), but new menu items and change the appearance of the restaurant. Daily challenges would be good to keep players coming back and achievements for milestones would make the game playable for longer. Until the developers think of some new ways to enhance the game, I doubt I will play again..Version: 1.1.11
✓ Game is fun but FORCES you to watch adsI am ok with games that let you double stuff, or skip countdowns if you want an add. Games aren’t free to make, and its one way the player can not be out of pocket, but developers aren’t working for free. This game has forced ad screens pop up even if you don’t select that option, and I’ve had two play one after the other without an opportunity to close the window.
