✓ Great Start, but needs a couple balances and add-onsThis game is pretty great, but there are a couple things I think should be addressed. In my opinion, it’s a little difficult to get enough currency to roll due to how expensive each roll is and how little rewards are provided in relation to the story line that is available even with the starting login bonus. Additionally, I think a PVP option is necessary as well for this game. Progressing through the story line forces one to focus on a core set of units that work well together in a single player mentality while the coop stages revolve around a different type of playstyle that makes a lot of units invalid or significantly worse. While it is understandable that the focus of this game is to try and facilitate interaction and cooperation with others, this lack of PVP will hurt the game more as time passes. It would fundamentally eliminate the importance of or desire for rolls in this gacha format and basically wastes the grand idea of the “PML” based in the storyline. I believe it’s perfect setup for pvp, and it may very well be in the works, but it is just a little strange that it’s not implemented from the start. Other than that, I do like the battle system, the way Pokémon and trainer moves are integrated, and how these moves and level caps work with the farming material. I look forward to seeing how this game develops in the future!.Version: 1.1.1
✓ DEFINITELY DOWNLOAD!Some people say it’s P2W. It definitely isn’t!! I have some VERY overpowered characters and I didn’t spend a cent. I say the game is AWESOME. It gives a ton of free stuff to it’s players. On the first day if your new, you get 3000 Free gems! ( Jump start login bonus ) Which you can summon 10 characters! (( Very most likely you will get ATLEAST 1 5 Star character )) The game is extremely genourous and the story line is awesome! The events are cool also. And if your thinking about downloading this, absolutely go for it! But I’m not going to force you. I’m just saying, it’s a really good game! It’s a great time killer. One of the best game’s I’d played. I’d do unlimited stars out of 5, but 5 is the max. Seriously, if your just scrolling and is interested in this, please download this! It’s an awesome game. ✓ Great game BUTLove the game and a pokemon fan through and through. The only issue i have with the game is the balancin of getting new sync pairs. I know the point is to bring a lottle money to the game, but for the F2P players getting sync pairs is TOUGH. Ive been playing since the game came out and at first getting rare sync pairs was hard but lately for the past month ive literally only gotten 3 star syncs and 4stars THAT I ALREADY HAVE. Yes it wouldnt make sense to make them easily obtainable but at leat give the player a reason to spend money on the game. I spent money for gems at least 3-4x and each time i got a weak sync pair or one ive already had and its been like this for a while. Also increasing the percentage for the rarer sync pairs will make the co-op a lot more fun. Its very annoying trying to take down a hard co-op when fellow players join and dont have the correct sync pairs. So yeah only complaint is to make it slightly easier to obtain more useful and powerful sync pairs. LEGENDARY EVENTS ARE PERFECT CHANGE NOTHIG ABOUT THEM. The legendary raid concept in my opinion is balanced. It allows for the player to make a grind that isnt too long with proper payouts to allow you to get the legendary sync pair without too much trouble. GREAT GAME KEEP UP THE WORK!.Version: 1.4.0
✓ Random crashesHi! This game is wonderful and full of battles and I would recommend getting it. However, if you need to download some content it takes incredibly long. Also, once I finally get to 94% it crashes and says that the download has failed. This might just be me though because I have terrible wifi. ✓ 🌟Best Pokemon Mobile Game!🌟I’ve played the game for about a year now and I absolutely love it!!! It really gets the player into the stories of the characters, and don’t even get me started on all of the awesome event sync pairs! The events just bring life into the game, plus the event outfits are just, spectacular! Scouting is by far my favorite thing about the game! One thing that isn’t fun is the odds on some of the master sync pairs. I scouted twelve times and still couldn’t get Lusamine and ultra necrosma! I was sooooo sad, but some of them made me feel like life didn’t hate me😅. Like Archie and Kyogre, Calem and Graninja, and Eusine and Suicune. The game is so amazing overall, but I do wish they would up the odds on scouting! I am sooo thankful for the creators, because they made such a fun game!!! Also, to the people who are having problems with gems: I had the same problem too, but if you sent feedback and ask them to change your age and tell them you put the wrong age in they will fix it! ✓ Overall pretty Unique gameplayIves seen similar games using energy bars and stuff but with the moves in the this you could literally combo a huge attack and not let the enemy take a shot at you. I don’t know if this is true or not but if you can trigger a move before your opponent then it counts as the first moves then the next moves. But the thing is ppl could just spam the “buff” and all three at once while the ai triggers maybe one or two moves. I feel that this should be removed since if I had a fully connected thought out team I would be able to not even let the ai or enemy take a turn in using attack. Finally my biggest issue with this game as a Pokémon fan The leveling system I mean if you can at first lvl the living crap out of the first level 5 stat sync trainer you get then you can grind the level training room. I understand it says training room meaning it’s meant to help you grow but there should be a limit to it I mean I got my Pokémon’s that I mainly use up to lvl 85max and 80max and that was only in a day. I found my self with flowing right through the campaign and the pml league. Very sad I didn’t have a challenge. Biggest thing you should do right now though is nerf all training rooms to 10/10 try’s and put a 1 hour cool down for each try..Version: 1.1.0

✓ An easier way to get GemsI had a thought on easier ways to get gems. In Pokémon masters ex it is pain stakingly hard to get gem for f2p players myself included. A way to fix that would be these things called gem events. It could be a bit like you would grind battles and get gems in turn. It could use stamina so it wouldn’t be to broken but it could give you like 10 gems per battle which would really help players get gems without having to pay real money..Version: 2.36.0

✓ A perfect game with one problemThe animations in this game are truly amazing! I am an old school pokemon fan who still plays games like Pokemon yellow to this day because I can’t afford the latest Nintendo devices and games. So seeing all these animations and effects is in a way relieving and exciting to see. The game offers you a creative storyline and you can’t play any Pokemon game without a evil team to fight against so install the game to see what evil dead’s and odd cult name they have this time! The only downside for this game which I was hoping to not happen is the fact that it’s pay to win. I guess you can’t change it now but I think it would be better if they got rid of all their in app purchases and made it so people had to grind. ✓ A nostalgic game in a modern times...I love this game! Well thought out, great graphics, easy to follow game play and story line and what’s not to love about the game...it’s pokemon! Very happy that it’s quick to load and process. Even though I have given it 5 stars, I wonder because I’m going through the game “quickly” whether if there is much to is at all. ✓ Pretty good for GatchaSo yes, this game is a Pokémon Gatcha game. Thankfully you can do a lot with it without having to spend anything. (But there is some benefit for using paid currency) Been playing since launch and this game has come a fair way. With regular updates and plenty of ways to earn gems, there’s a lot here. ✓ Good but.....This game is great and I love this game but some problems. First of all the main story mode only goes up to quarter finals so pls add the next chapters after that. Second of all getting gems is pretty hard, u get daily bonus’s I know but to do 11 sync pairs scout u need 3000 gems a really hard challenge so maybe 500 gems per day. Finally I don’t like the way paid gems are separate from non paid and that the daily scout for an event uses ur paid gems pls could u combine paid gems with non paid gems. ✓ Underrated!!This game is truly great for a little mobile game! In my opinion it could rival Pokemon Go! Honestly though, I only heard of this game from a random tweet, y'all gotta market more cuz this game deserves the attention and I wish I'd heard of it sooner!! I'd also love to see character customisation because I never wanna use the Pokemon my character has, even the shiny ones, because my character is so generic and boring compared to my scouted sync pairs. It could add a whole new aspect of collecting clothes items and could even have alternate colours like the 6 star sync pairs (which I absolutely LOVE). The sygna suits are amazing too and I get sooo excited to see new designs! I would just love to feel more attached to the character you play as! ✓ A Game of great Nostalgia but it has one major flaw…As stated this game is the biggest Nostalgia trip in any Pokemon game we’ve ever played with Trainers,Gym leaders and Champions both new and old with a interesting storyline in a fantastic setting. However the thing that Hurts this game in our Honest Opinion is the Gacha System which is the primary system of getting Sync pairs (Trainers and Pokemon) the rates feel so weighed against you when you want a certain character, that being said unlike most Gacha games we’ve played they periodically offer summon Banners with 10% chance to scout a 5* Sync pair however again you’re not Guaranteed you’re preferred Sync pair, if they offered 5* Sync pairs in there events more rather then locking everything behind the Gacha system this game would be a masterpiece. ✓ Engaging Game and Awesome ImmersionI have been waiting for this game ever since it was supposed to come out, of course the Pokémon universe still has lots to go (still waiting on that open world game) and I’m glad to say that this was a step forward. The art and character designs are very nicely done and the inclusion of voice actors really solidifies the storytelling. If there was one problem I had with the game it would be the skin colour of Brock, honestly he looks white instead of Asian, a lot of Asian people have dark skin so I don’t get what the problem is with him having brown skin. I have seen events and a few come and go (only one while I have played, I finished the game very quickly), so instead of making them please make the rest of the game instead. I played Pokemon go for a while and I enjoyed it. I never watched the Pokemon on TV but I still like them... who doesn’t?! What makes it so good is a mystery to me but one thing for sure it is great fun to play. ✓ Honest opinion with few hours playedStarted playing today and already I can feel the addiction growing being a Pokemon fan. The game runs smooth and the graphics are well designed one problem I have come across is the game makes your battery really hot so you have to close it down every so often before your phone gets problems (hopefully tech team fix the issue soon). Building your team and squad is fun but the paywall with gems earned and gems bought is really going to be an issue with majority of players. Hopefully this is thought about and changed too. I get games have in app purchases but why have some items that can’t be bought with earned gems? Not worked out how or if you can evolve your persons Pokemon but that would be nice if you could the more you progress the levels. Games got potential and it’s looking good so far. ✓ One of the best Pokémon Games Ever.I have played everything Pokémon since I was 5, starting with Fire Red, I’m 21 now and have played this game at launch, went away from it and now have come back to it. So, all in all, I have been playing this game everyday for about a year now. I can say, this game has so much content and so many unique things in it that make a mobile game so fun. Daily resets, weekly resets, etc. new content is added in all the time, literally about every week. Whether it’s the champion stadium, which is a weekly reset activity, that provides great rewards, or new story content. The amount of free gems in this game is amazing as well, the game is more than fair and generous in how gems and other rewards are distributed. Another things the developers do, which is great and other gaming developers should look at this, is they listen to feedback and give us, the players, what we want. (Ex, harder content, new battles) If you like/love Pokémon. Give this game a try, it seems daunting at first, you won’t win the more “end game” battles right away, you need to get your sync pairs leveled and “gridded” up. You will be hooked right away, and when you get into the game even more, you won’t be able to stop playing it..Version: 2.16.1

✓ Takes some sweating but a great gameThe graphics and visuals are great and it does a vey good job of making Pokémon mobile while keeping to its core ideas. I haven’t spent any money in game and I don’t really think you have to, as it is a lot more fun to grind for those gems (which aren’t really hard to get). Multiple Pokémon on your team mean you have to keep on your toes but it becomes very enjoyable once you get used to it. The story mode was a bit short but they keep keep you occupied with limited time events and opening packs with rare and iconic trainers and gym leaders. The online multiplayer feature is really cool and you can team up with friends to defeat bosses. Only things missing are Galar gym leaders and champion which they will probably add and online 1v1s. Hopefully it will become compatible with Pokémon HOME but we will have to see..Version: 1.7.0
✓ An amazing game!If you told me 5 years ago that there was gonna be a Pokémon gacha game in the future, I would’ve laughed at you. Yet here we are... First off, every trainer seems to be in the game. EVERY TRAINER. From all generations. Rivals, Gym Leaders, Elite Four even Frontier Brains! The way they made summoning Trainers with their partner Pokémon and evolve them, was likely the best way to go about it. I like the 3 v 3 battles and that Pokémon are weak to one type not multiple like the main games. Keeps the game simple, even with current moves. Love the story too and I REALLY love the fact they put so much depth in each character’s background. I learned more about an unpopular Gym Leader than the anime and games put together. That’s some hard work. If you don’t like gacha games, they at least give you really good/cool F2P units. Whether you play this for your favorite trainer, the story or the sync battles, this is a must for anyone, ESPECIALLY if you’re a Pokémon fan. The tutorial is rough, but past it it’s amazing. Also the main games will never have you use Cynthia, Sabrina and Flannery on the same team...that’s how fanservice this game is and I can’t get enough of how perfect that is. ✓ After playing for after about a yearThe game is pretty good the previous issues about levels being hard to obtain are eventually resolved about the third or fourth month of play, they give quite a bit to help you start up right if you fail to use it optimally that’s on the player, legendary battles are hard enough for the vets and there is loads of easy content for the newbies, the story does eventually end but that’s following the series so far. And you get a lot of gems doing story pro tip finish all the story and horde like a dragon until you see a banner you really like one really good Pokémon can make or break in this game. If you are not accustomed to gacha games don’t complain about the gacha knowing it’s a gacha game. They give a decent sum of gems from daily missions and claims as well as weekly and money claims for free and most events give gems somewhere. The only thing the game truly needs is more co op content the gear raid are simply not enough to entertain. The rest of the game is great, the quirky date sim side also offers exclusive Pokémon and tickets to get to level 150. A lot of the Pokémon have very interesting teamwork dynamics in this game and the same Pokémon is different when with other trainers or personally bred. New players should pay attention to Pokémon’s passive traits and sync grids for tactical edges that could be hidden..Version: 2.29.1
✓ A Real Pokèmon AdventureI bet there isn’t any Pokèmon game out there like this one. The story and graphics make me feel like I’m really a Pokémon Trainer setting off for my journey to become a Pokèmon Master. I am a huge Pokèmon fan from my childhood, and always wanted to set off on a Pokèmon journey like Ash Ketchum. This is the closest thing to that. ✓ Review of Game After 1 year of PlayI’ve been a fan of Pokémon since the beginning, although I haven’t followed the games or series since Gen 4. Great game to get you back into the spirit of Pokémon. However, since I’ve been playing this game for a year I’ve noticed some things. The game is fluid meaning there’s constant updates with new additions; however, playing the game since the beginning, not all of these new features or events are appealing, some are quite simplistic and fun to grind for items, other times the event or mission appear to be too difficult. Legendary events, elite 4 and leveling your Pokémon to 125 is quite difficult and takes the right set of skills and luck to achieve. This aspect makes the game worth it for me. Although, here are the flaws that I noticed or aspects that need improvement: Player and Torchic doesn’t evolve into Blaziken, egg level up items are too few compared to the egg Pokémon that exist for these items, sync orb system has been down since October and cannot use my 15,000+ sync orbs, skip tickets are absolutely pointless. The game gives you roughly 25/day even with the free 200 daily stamina on top of my current energy of 188, I can only use 19 skip tickets a day. Currently have 1000+ and this number only grows and not shrinks. ✓ Great game, a few tweaks needed thoughAll in all love the game so far. It’s enjoyable playing a new interpretation of game rather than the usual Pokémon games. I understand it’s a new game and somethings take time to be changed, however I think only being able to obtain other characters using paid gems isn’t right and you should be able to get them with the gems obtained in game, and if your worried about the amount of scouts each player could do increase the amount of gems needed to obtain new characters. ✓ Don’t rage F2P playersPokemon will forever be one of those things that always smacks nostalgia right into my face. Now this game itself brings the “feels” of every single Pokémon game in one, I can’t really put my fingers on it but let’s say it gives me the same “feels” of the gameboy Pokémon games and the 3DS Pokémon games which is such a nostalgic bonus! Now I know that since this game has JUST been released, it can seem like you have to grind if you’re a free to play player; making it kind of annoying as you have to finish the entire story to just collect roughly 3000 gems to spend on new trainers+ Pokémon. I played through at the start of the blue event and got him from the start but after that I didn’t get a signal 5 star. While I was stuck with blue, YouTubers had every 5 star (maybe missing one or two) and I even felt like restarting. Also the legendary area is challenging but it is fun that you need to think of a strategy around it. The feedback I will like to provide is to have more sync move candy events to increase sync move levels for expanding at sync grid. I really hope that every other sync pair that were in the gacha system will all have their sync grid made. The sync grid system allow players to customise how the sync pair works. I love that system. ✓ Good gameWhile the concept of the game is very good, the game gets hard for F2P players to keep getting gems for sync pairs, there are not enough methods to get them once you’ve completed anything for the first time you get given gems but after that can no longer get them, I can not get enough gems for sync pairs anymore which is rather annoying, the game needs to be more F2P friendly, there has been a good flow of events so far to keep it feeling fresh, not all Pokémon have their evolutions yet which I do hope changes, also after your first stage 3 evolution it costs FAR to much for each one after that 900k for one evolution is a bit excessive in my opinion, if the game was more F2P friendly I would have given a 5*.Version: 1.1.1
✓ Great game overall but 1 issue.Loving the game but the 1 issue with it is what lack this game being a 5*. I love the plot line so far, the games functions to evolve, have more friends to get further, all of the legends coming back. It's great, good job on that- but the issue is this. Ok, I understand there was gonna be a new function of battle style, but it doesn't feel natural and will everyone would struggle to get better with it. It is not turned based, a very situational one and the moves power and accuracy aren't matching the ones in the mainstream games. If it is to compensate for having 3 Pokemon, then fair enough. If not, the reduced power makes the battles way longer than it should be- it is very strategic, but the lack of some functions from the mainstream games is what makes it kinda bad. There is no option to switch any Pokémon as in bringing a secondary 4th character to replace a Pokémon, but will have a the same health the previous one would be a great addition. It does require many things to be paying attention to, and also the moves you gain aren't very good at all- there should be a choice, like TM's and stuff like that. This game did take out many functions that make Pokèmon...Pokèmon. The throwbacks, the plot is very good. ✓ Pikachu evolutionThis game is fun and it’s a very good game to show somebody who hasn’t played Pokémon or doesn’t know it making this a great example for them. But the reason I write the review to you humble people is to add pikachu’s evolution. I know pokemon has this thing where it won’t evolve pikachu due to it being a iconic mascot and due to pokemon yellow’s popularity, but I just want the option to evole my pikachu into a Richu. I’m not saying you should add it and pikachu is an iconic character and by your making it evolve will take the fun out of it, but if you look at the other cast, their Pokémon can evolve to besides leaf which I also think should be able to evolve the eevee. It’s already logical the ash can’t exist in this Pokémon universe since red is here. Plus it’s already confirmed that blue and Gary are two different people dispite their personality matches. If you can’t give pikachu en evolution, then you could make friendship an evolution trait but then again leaf isn’t a major main character so that wasn’t work ether. Eevee could have some level requirements like “train eevee to level 30 at PM real life times” or something like that. ✓ Best Pokémon Game I’ve Ever PlayedThis game is so much fun. I’ve been playing Pokémon games on Nintendo handhelds for the past 10 years, along with watching the anime, and this is the closest I’ve seen to the battling style shown throughout the anime. And it works EXCELLENTLY!!! I rarely give out 5-star reviews, but this game is a masterpiece. As a fan of the anime, I’m very glad that a Pokémon game finally reflects the battling style shown in the anime. Everything about this game makes me keep coming back to it. The sound effects in most Pokémon games are not the best, but the sound effects in this rendition are especially great. The music is also very catchy, something every Pokémon game has. This game has everything the normal Pokémon games have, but then adds a special twist. It was (at first) challenging to learn the new mechanics, but I pressed the “auto” button in the top right corner during battles to understand how to use it better. I recommend doing the same, whether you are a newcomer or an experienced Pokémon enthusiast. It makes it so much easier. If there was anything to criticize, I would probably have to say that I wish the fonts were a little bit bigger. ✓ Good but not greatSo far I have barely started the game and it seems enjoyable with all the good animations and strategy but the two major things that i dislike are that, first of all, there is a LOT of tutorial. I had guessed everything it was going to tell me to do and there is no option to skip, I understand lots of people are new to pokémon and don’t know how to play but could you at least make a skip tutorial thing or a help button for people who don’t know what to do? ✓ Still a 5 star gameI have a few subtle issues with the game. Their are certain things that just don’t make sense and a few bugs. Like every time you open the game it spams the important message for news when it reality it is only new maybe once a day atm. Then I don’t really like the energy bar in the sense that one Pokémon takes from the others energy it’s a combined bar. Which to me is just kind of nonsense. It makes the game play much slower and less rewarding as far as damage goes and it makes the game require more turns or basically spamming single bar moves to moves the needle. Also I think it’s stupid some random moves hit all targets and then some special moves hit all targets. Doesn’t really make sense in the game logic. Other than that I still love it 5 start game just please balance the game a little better so it’s worth saving for 2 bar moves. ✓ Great time killer and NOT pay to winThis is a well made game. I don’t understand why people say it’s pay to win. First of all it’s not a PVP game, so there’s no one to beat in the first place. The game is PVE only with increasing difficulty as you progress and although there are sync pairs that can make your life easier, you can reach end game just as easily F2P. The game is also pretty generous: you get more than 200 diamonds EACH day even after you clear everything, thanks to daily missions (it costs 300 diamonds to get a new sync pair). The fact that this game allows you to grind endlessly for stuff makes it a default F2P game. At first I thought it’s a bug :) I hope they don’t change it. This game has some excellent mechanics that I didn’t even know I wanted in a mobile game until I saw them. So many mobile games over the last decade have used energy mechanics to slow players down and try to make them spend money to continue playing, Pokémon Masters (PM from here on out) lets you play as much as you want, you know, like a video game... Breaking away from the industry meta, PM doesn’t weaponize endorphins to keep you coming back, they instead chose to deliver a fun experience and let you come back willingly. They’re very generous with their premium currency and make game advancing items very accessible. Mobile games tend toward putting barriers between the player and advancement to give a shallow game the illusion of depth, PM let’s you dive in as soon as you’re ready. PM has a rich story which expands on familiar characters from every installment of Pokémon since the insertion of the franchise but doesn’t force you to sit and read it all. ✓ What you see, is what you getSo first off one of my most favourite IOS games I have played since infinity blade. (yeah remember when that game was still on the store?) may be a stretch but honestly is has a lot of potential to be a great game. Let’s get the cons out of the way - really bad pricing on paid currency. - it can be a bit grind inducing later on in the game. - sometimes the difficulty spikes for some things can be a bit unfair but not impossible to overcome if thought out correctly. - limited selections on people with certain Pokémon types. -limited voice acting Onto the pros - Great gameplay mechanics. - nice smooth animations - while a bit cliche, has some nice character interactions. - lots to do for a free title of these calibre. - coop works rather well when you unlock it. Not perfect but decent enough to run smoothly. - gives you a fair chance of beating the game with giving you characters that are 4 or 5 stars early and though out the story mode. And much more. Is you push aside the game micro transactions it’s a pretty solid game all around much more then what I was originally expect. ✓ Pretty good game 👍The good: The main story is quite interesting adding to the huge collection of previous Pokémon games. It’s good to see characters that normally you’d never see together interacting. The combat system is fairly lucrative upon closer inspection. Especially in co-op. Not as complicated as the base games but still nice for a free mobile game. Fairly free of pay to win mechanics. I spent £25 on the game so I’m going to compare my experience with my free to play friend. We both are at similar points far into late game co op activities. We both have 80% of the sync pairs and almost all the actually useful ones. The fact that paying only gets you more level 1 sync pairs is great as no matter how you much pay, you still have to grind for hours to get them to level 100. The bad: As comes with all multiplayer games, your co op experience can vary wildly from game to game based on the experience of the people you match make with. Some battles in the late game can either the exciting challenging battles or a waste of time because someone brought some mons that don’t match up well at all, or target the wrong Pokémon at the wrong times..Version: 1.1.0

And in the first 2/3 weeks of playing the game I've earned enough of these gems in the game for free to be worth over £80/£90. My criticism is actually that paying real money in gets you nowhere. I've got all but 4 available valuable Pokémon before putting money in. Put £16 in afterwards and got nothing but repeats. ✓ A pleasant surpriseI was very disillusioned with the mobile videogame market, with all the games out there that are just blatant cash grabs with a massive paywall, especially the pay-to-win multiplayer games where the person with the thickest wallet wins through a myriad of buffs, items, and specials only obtainable through straight hard cash. Then i stumbled onto this hidden masterpiece. I picked it up and was thinking “great, lets see how many minutes it takes before i have to spend money in order to go anywhere” i spent a few minutes on the app. Then later a few more. Then i started spending hours and days and still i was able to progress just fine without busting out a single cent. Soon i realized, Pokémon actually mostly stuck to its old school roots! Gameplay is fun and engaging, all the trainers and Pokémon are obtainable without spending any money, although i probably will spend a few bucks at this point just to show my appreciation to the developers, and for when they release some special event Pokémon. Seeing as this game is still in its early stages im sure pvp and more trainers will be added in the future. In the meantime, go and complete all the great content that’s already here! Awesome game! ✓ Amazing Game!!I’ve been playing this game for nearly two years now, so i guessed I’d finally write a review. In my opinion it’s amazing, even better than Go! I love that you are able to get all the trainers from retro games like Red and Blue, all the way up to Sw/Sh. The story’s really cool (I’ve completed the villain and main storylines) and it really brings all the different generations together well. The models/art is good, i havent found a single bug, and for being new the variety of usable trainers is nice, so i cant wait to see what more gets added as its improved. Though it would be nice if you could repeat/replay or auto the item grinding for the courses when the battles are over. Its annoying how it kicks you back to the difficulty screen every time. The only real issue I have is the micro-transactions. While almost all apps have them now, the ones in this particular game are way to expensive for what you would be purchasing. ✓ This game is greatAlright. They took this game to a next level compared to the old version of this game. More story, elite 4 and more level books that are level 4 versions of them. Mega’s are still great and team break has masks to disguise them which is unique to the main games. Pokemon does three more things I like and also different too. I like that they gathered up gym leaders and elite 4 members in the story to make newer players more farmiliar to old gym and elite 4 members. Second to last thing I like is sync moves. They are the new strong category of battle strategy and sort of mimic Z-moves a bit but you can use them multiple times, get more powerful and take multiple turns to pull off. ✓ Amazing Game! One (Now Two) Little SuggestionsThis is the most fun game that I have on my phone, and I wouldn’t want it any different. Well... besides this one teeny weeny suggestion that’s been driving me nuts and that I need to share: Please add an interlude or chapter where your character gets a mega bracelet for the Kanto starter that they chose from the egg (or any Pokémon that can mega evolve that you receive from an egg). Please, this would add so much more fun to the game, especially considering the fact that my Charizard has a center spot on my team as the ace with its fire blast. If this gets taken into suggestion, thank you in advance. Update: I have an even better idea! Make it to where there’s another legendary event where the legendary Pokémon is yours, similar to Solgaleo, but with Xerneas and Yveltal. Only here’s the gag: You only get to choose one, and one only, even when the event would re-run. I mean, Lysandre with Xerneas or Yveltal doesn’t really make sense to me. I think if he gets added then he should have gyarados that can trigger mega evolution as part of its sync move, and since Calum and Serena have already been added with their “aces”, so I really think you should take this into consideration. ✓ Please add pvp!!I love this game a lot! I think it’s nostalgic, fun and it’s wonderful for passing time. I started playing a lot more and I’ve gotten really into it. I’ve spent money, beaten all of story mode normal and hard, I’ve don’t battle villa to where I can’t win anymore because it’s to hard, I’ve done all the things I can do by either completely finishing them or by beating them all the way up to where I can’t progress anymore because it’s to hard. There should be more ways to get gems (like more bingos) and there should be more events because those are really fun but most importantly there should be pvp...I think. Would be lots of fun if there was a pvp system in the game because 1 you could have something to progress in, you will have another way to get rewards by getting in different leagues in the pvp system. There are so many different things that pvp could bring to this game and I really think instead of adding new Pokémon that you should work on adding new things to do in the game like adding pvp. ✓ Great game!I recently downloaded this game, and to say the least, it’s very addictive. To the amazing, colorful graphics and to the wonderful and fun gameplay, this game is awesome! I love almost every aspect of it and I would definitely recommend it! Although, if I could recommend some things, they would be more options for character customization. As far as I know, YOUR personal character can only have pikachu and torchic at some point in the game, so that kind of makes our own character pointless if they aren't in a electric based fight or fire.(Which is the reason for our scouts, but I really enjoy having ‘myself’ in the game :[ )I think it would be nice if we could choose our Pokémon in the beginning? I know there were probably reasons pikachu was chosen as the automatic pokémon we are handled, but I feel it would be more personal and interesting to choose our own... ✓ About the new sync pairsOverall, there are so many great units coming out for 2021. First we have Marnie and her potentially high damage dealing Morpeko, who can switch between Electric and Dark types. However its probably the weakest pick for me, since if I want an electric type attacker, I would choose Zebstrika, Zekrom, Pikachu or Raichu (Alola), and for dark, I would have Houndoom, Grimsley, Persian, Mightyena or Yveltal. Diantha is the strongest Fairy type dealer in the game (although its annoying how so many of these are locked behind poke fairs). We have Iris who is a very powerful sync nuker and finally Leon, who we dont even need to speak about to know that he is insane. Overall, keep it up with the pairs!.Version: 2.6.0

✓ Pretty goodWhen I first got the game in 2019, I was not impressed. There were barely any character interactions and events, plus rng seemed to hate me so much I had only 2 5 stars. Almost a year later, it’s improved a LOT. I’ve played for about 3 months with 22(!!!) 5 star sync pairs and almost all my units at level 100 or more. I’ve never felt the need to spend money on banners and somehow I always seem to get limited pairs like Cynthia or Serena. Eggs are a nice addition, although not essential to gameplay. The supercourses are easy to do with Steven or Blue if you have him and the battle villa halls are challenging but not impossible. The events are really interesting and adds a lot of content. You don’t need 5 stars; 3 or 4 stars like Barry can be just as good and you can even upgrade him to a 5 star if you want. The only complaint I have is that some units are just too broken. I don’t have Red but I heard he is an absolute menace to literally everything. Serena’s passive is insane and you can even do a first day bv clear with her. If the devs are listening it would be great if there was a broken f2p pair everyone could have. Never been a fan of general Pokemon or gacha games but this is perfect. ✓ Wow.What was initially a negative review has since been turned into a major positive. The game is very grind heavy but I love the fact that there is no trace of an energy bar or meter, hopefully this remains so. This makes playing for hours a joy rather than a hassle. I would love for there to be some sort of skip system for battles that you’ve already completed. Perhaps once you’ve completed them an X amount of times or with your whole team alive. Also an easy way to get to each feature from anywhere in the game. It’s kind of a pain having to press “back” 3 or 4 times from deep in the mission screen to get to the main hub. I’m not sure if it’s just my ignorance to JRPGs but this game seems to take many things from Dragon Ball Legends. However, they have vastly improved DBL’s shortcomings in my opinion. ✓ I AM IN LOVE...Pokémon Masters is AMAZING and fun! Once I had enough gems to do it so I got a huge ten sync pairs! And one of them was someone that some of you might want a lot. It was BLUE!! Yes. I got Blue. When the Giovanni and Mewtwo event was active I actually beat him. I’ve even got to the PML!!!!!!!!!!!!! ✓ 4/5Good game! The story thus far is very reminiscent of a regular pokemon game! My only two issues are that the battling is incredibly slow. The energy refills incredibly slowly in battle when most moves take 2 sections of the bar. Just makes things tedious. If it was a bit faster I would be satisfied My other issue is... ✓ Better than Mainstream Pokemon Games ✨Performs battles and fan service better than normal Pokemon games do like Pokemon Sw/SH. But it’s obvious how cash grabby this game can be, it does have insane rates of 5*’s hitting up to 12% but that’s not the key issue here, it’s actually the battle system itself. Originally when the Pokemon Masters game was released you could play battles as much as you like with no downside, now they have Stamina, and have for quite a while. This received a lot of backlash when it was released and they said it was subject to change if players disliked it, but yet here we are, almost 2 years in and it still not gone. I love this game a lot but truly hate hate HATE it’s Skip Ticket and Stamina system, it makes the game too restrictive and forces you to come back the next day. If you want your players to come back the next day, remove this system and bring back what it was instead of forcing them. Other than that 10/10 love it. 💕.Version: 2.6.1
✓ Good entry, but some small changes would make it significantly betterThis is a far better game than I was imagining, as it really does a good job of translating Pokémon to a mobile format (although really a full length, standard Pokémon game would probably be doable anyway, just very unlikely). There are a few flaws, though. The battle system is surprisingly good, and I think it is a little more interesting than the standard turn-based battles from the mainstream games. I think this works to the games advantage, though - it’s a nice change. That said, the way that sync pairs work can feel a little limiting, and also the weakness/strength system is a significant downgrade. No longer do Pokémon have multiple strengths, resistances, and weaknesses, now they just have one weakness and everything else is normally effective. This significantly downgrades the tactical/strategical aspect of the game, and if a more complex type system was introduced which matched the main games it would make the battles far more interesting..Version: 1.1.0
