✓ Problem with GamecenterFor me this is one of the best games of all time. The only complaint that I have is that when I’m logged into Gamecenter after I’ve completed the game, the app doesn’t open for some reason. I hope this bug gets fixed as soon as possible..Version: 1.1
✓ A must!!!My all-time favourite 8-bit game has been remastered in an amazing way! Being able to switch between new version and retro is amazing. A must for any fan of the oldies! Also worth noting that tweaking the control options (like moving the buttons and making them and the pad bigger) would fix any and all issues with it..Version: 1.1.3

✓ MasterpieceThis game has to be perfect,the classic wonder boy dragon’s trap is one of the best games of all time and to have on my iPad is unbelievable. ✓ I love the game so far!It’s beautiful but also can switch to original graphics! I like how you can re size the pads to exactly what you want... however I still haven’t found what works for me yet. I wish more games of my childhood were redone with cartoon visuals. 8-bit was fine back in the day, but a cartoon format works so much better. ✓ Same game as on the Xbox OneI’ve only played a few minutes of it so far, but the port seems absolutely fantastic! The on screen controls are a little bit difficult, but that is to be expected considering we are playing on pieces of glass. ✓ Amazing! Don’t worry about controlsFirst off: this is truly a master piece. There are retro options to play the original 1980’s version so you can compare to new one. It is a beautiful game, with amazing music and animations. I feel like a kid again, and I want my kids to play this. Second. Controls. Controls are by far the best I have experienced on IOS. You should probably play in a tablet. All the people who complain about controls in the comments probably don’t know there are options. Click on you hearts open options and adjust the placement and size of the D-pad and controls. It took a minute or so to get to a comfortable size and position. Best game I have ever bought on apple. ✓ Just awesomeIt really is a great game. The difficulty is perfect. Manipulating game mechanics is beyond par. These guys did such an amazing job, I never want to play this again. The graphics are perfect playable but you really need a controller. I recommend playing on a Nintendo switch instead. ✓ Great game for iPad!Okay so first off before they even added the update to give Xbox One and PS4 controller support, my Xbox controller was already working with it! I haven’t tried it since the update, so they may have added some refinements but I thought that was cool. I definitely recommend playing this game with a controller so you can get the most out of your display. As far as the game itself, I have to say that I had never played the original game or any other WonderBoy/MonsterBoy game. So I didn’t know what I was getting into but the game looked promising so I bought it. I have been really enjoying this game! It’s basically a side scrolling RPG with some plat forming. So yes, good game. Even better with a controller! The only thing I think that could use some improvement is the help menu. It’s just a bunch of pictures with button mapping..Version: 1.1.2

Not only has the game been released with modern graphics and sound, but with a simple swipe I can switch to 8 bit mode! There is also an extensive gallery of game art and development videos. ✓ Classic Remake with Greater StyleI never heard of the Wonder Boy game series until now. The new art style is what first drew my attention. After getting use to the somewhat old school game mechanics, I quickly fell in love with this game. I love the option of being various creatures with slightly different playing styles. ✓ Fantastic, but still some bugs to be defeated in Monster LandThis game is such a beautifully and lovingly made remake of one of the (in my opinion) all time greatest games ever made. For me, you can tell the developers are fans of the original. The artwork is phenomenal, the gameplay- after one gets used to the controls (iPhone works better than iPad imo- albeit sometimes one’s thumb does obscure important action!)- is smooth and faithful to the original. The music is absolutely perfectly realised. I bought the soundtrack on Bandcamp and have some tunes like ‘The Last Dungeon- Encore’ and ‘The Dragon’s Trap- Staff Roll’ on repeat in my music library. A few bugs need reporting and squashing. And in one case the bug is significant. It is true that sometimes, seemingly without the ‘two finger left to right’ motion, it swaps to retro graphics mode (or worse, partially swaps). But most frustratingly of all I have had to start taking screen prints of the ‘retro’ passwords every time I play as the game will sometimes crash and then cannot be opened again without complete reinstallation! Inputting the retro password is a nice touch but *massively* fiddly on a touch screen. Not to mention I have to maintain a huge library of retro password screen prints. This is a high impact defect- please resolve. And if a stop gap measure is needed please consider allowing a simple iCloud enabled save game function, or at least allow keying of the retro password using the iPhone keyboard..Version: 1.0

✓ Everything is refined and improved, the perfect platform adventureThe gameplay was already perfect, and the developers have taken everything right about this game and cranked it up to 11, it just feels so right playing this, and it looks absolutely beautiful. ✓ Reminds me of my childhoodI don’t usually do reviews but felt I had to for this game. I love the new version, it is probably very similar to how I imagined it as a child when I played it on the sega master system. From reading the other reviews it looks like there has been some trouble with the controls and crashing. As I only recently downloaded this game I can report not seeing any of these bugs on either my iPhone or iPad Air. I believe the developer’s have done a really good job and if they want a list of old classics I remember that could do with this type of update I would be happy to share it with them..Version: 1.1.3
✓ A classic beautifully re-imaginedWonder Boy 3 was a classic platformer for the sega master system. A new team has lovingly updated it for iOS with lush, hand-drawn graphics and an excellent orchestral soundtrack. ✓ Great to have this game on iOS!This is the really first game i played when i was a kid! on a Sega Master System console that my mom “rent!” for me in a video rental shop and i was lucky that she rent this game for me with the console. Yep back in the days consoles like this was expensive, at least for my mom. I love to have this game in my pocket now and the remake and music is so well done, i own this game on Nintendo and Mac as well. It is of course not as simple to play it on iPhone, but i am sure developers can figure out better way to control the characters, it is pretty hard to play the game but this is just first release and we will probably get update soon. Thank you Lizardcube, Dotemu and Playdigious to make this happen. 9/10 stars from me.Version: 1.0
