✓ Plagued by bad decisionsEdit : I just finished the game in hard mode. The game cheats. Like, a lot. Hook not hooking, sudden ennemy boost, buttons not answering, speed cancelled for no reason... etc... i suppose it’s bad AI, but it’s beatable... but still... c’mon guys... —— It’s a very addictive game with a pretty good feel to it. This would be 5* if : - Multiplayer was not fake. (It’s bots) - There was a quick restart button (you loose SO MUCH TIME on loading screens and menus - controls were more precise. - This ridiculous slider was automatic. I cannot believe some “designer” thought was a good idea. It does not work on non-physical buttons, guys, get a grip. The reason this game could have been excellent and feels annoying, is that you feel cheated by the partially working controls, the inhumanly skilled AI (in hard mode) which basically does impossible movements, cheated by the ‘Multiplayer’ and deceived by some in-game content no one is ever going to buy. This game is game is basically Super Meat Boy without the excellence. It’s good. But disappointing. That said, for a quick game and the challenge of finishing in Hard more, I might continue, if there’s updates I’ll change my review..Version: 1.6
✓ Bots in multiplayer, and no friend invitesI loved this game on other systems like console, and it carried over well in terms of mechanics. However, the multiplayer features are lackluster at best. The is an option to invite friends to custom matches, but it doesn’t function. The “quick match” in multiplayer mode pairs the player with bots within about 15 seconds of trying to find a match. I rarely encounter other players there, and when I do, I always add them as a friend in the hopes that the “invite friend” feature would ever work. This isn’t fair to the players. Also, it’s not a bug, but an issue with the ranked system: if the player even manages to match with someone in a ranked match, if the losing party leaves the match, even after the winner wins three races, and the scoreboard has yet to show at the end of the match, the winner gets zero points in their ranking. Which isn’t fair to the winner, if someone is a poor loser. All together, I was tempted to give 2 stars if I hadn’t already loved the game on console..Version: 1.6

✓ Needs to be fixed +wacky movementThe controls are terrible. While the game is good, the controls make it bad. You can barely see where you’re going sometimes because the buttons are in the way. Also I don’t know why, but whenever I autorun it’s hard to jump up walls. When I use the slider to try to move up walls it can get stuck. There’s also some delay and the slider will lag at times. I think the developers should make multiple control settings for people to use and the developers should also make and test out new control settings. ✓ This game needs workBefore we start talking about improving this game, ill say I've played speedrunners on PC and Xbox. 1: iPhone X series compatibility. i don't know if this is a design decision, but i think embracing the full screen display of the X series would improve the gameplay and gamefeel for the current gen phones. 2: the controls. i really don't like the controls for this version of the game, i think that they should start from square 1 and redesign the controls to allow for a more free-flowing feel of movement. The slider and buttons are not the way to go for a game like this (but they still should be options). i suggest an 8-direction on screen Dpad to allow for the best possible way to control movement (jumping, sliding, and sprinting) with options to move those back to separate buttons. i think the whole control system should be able to be placed anywhere on screen and should be able to be resized. (see the mobile ports of classic Sega games for what I'm talking about) i think that this alone would take this rating to the next level. 3: the tutorial. it should be clearer, with bigger text and a "slo-mo" effect when you pass by the respective areas. overall, the biggest gripe i have with this game is the controlls, but i like the game.Version: 1.1

When I read the description it clearly says: ‘compatible with iPhone 5s’. Much like a lot of current “multiplayer pvp games” - this is a fake multiplayer game You get in a match and if you swipe up the apple launchpad UI which pauses app processes - all the “players” are exactly where they are even after a minute. Thus, it is impossible to level up your season, which can only be increased by playing online matches. The rules on leveling up your season needs to change if the online option is not even a option. ✓ Controls and IPhone 6It just plain doesn’t work on the IPhone 6 and crashes whenever you try to open it. Other than that, the controls are really bad. My boyfriend and I are both avid gamers, but we can barely win on this game because the controls are so bad. Specifically the way to run sucks and the action buttons are too small to hit accurately but also take up too much of the screen when you need to see yourself to get out of a tight spot. The wall jumping is the worst. Your thumb can’t move fast enough to get to the other side of the slide in time to jump well enough to stay in the race, and this is coming from someone who plays superstar bts on hard mode, so I’m used to sliding fast. I think these issues could be fixed with directional arrows or a similar moving mechanic like the one in minecraft PE for the running controls, and a different arrangement for the action buttons (maybe in a square column of it’s own on the side? ✓ Friend invites!!!So I started playing this game near the beginning of this year and I genuinely enjoyed playing it. The only thing i have a problem with is multiplayer. I started playing when you could invite friends through game center and it was fine, then i updated one day and tried invite a friend and it said “Working on friend invites” which i thought was optimal because the custom multiplayer section wasn’t as optimal as it could’ve been, but it’s been MONTHS upon MONTHS since the last update and i’ve actually been waiting to lang this game with friends again. Whenever you start losing sometimes they just hand the grapples to you like it is nothing, and sometimes whenever someone try’s to grapple you and it hits the wall it stops right? Wrong. ✓ Crashes and invite issuesWas really excited to play this game on mobile as I have a history with this game through the pc and console versions, but have been having so many issues joining games, hosting games, and dealing with crashes. The biggest problem being on an Iphone 6s is that the game used to work fine, but ever since I updated to IOS 12, the game would crash on the initializing screen when loading up the game (after the map selection). This problem only started after I updated to the latest IOS update, though I’ve read that this exact scenario is common in many other cases. The other problem is the friend system. Connected to gamecenter, joining games with people you are already “gamecenter friends” with is easy. Though, trying to play with anyone else isn’t possible. This whole system makes the in-game friend system redundant, as it provides no support when attempting to play with others. I have really high hopes for this game, but these problems cause it to be unplayable. Would normally rate this game 5 stars if these two things can be addressed asap..Version: 1.2
✓ Multiplayer is fakeAlthough I enjoy the game and have become quite good at it, I’ve come to the conclusion that multiplayer is just AI and the other players you’re racing against are just built into the game, they always have the same name, and what is a massive give away is when you search for a “multiplayer” match it waits for 10 seconds and then instantly puts you into a existing 4 man lobby who are always waiting for you to ready up. ✓ Brilliant game but….First off, I love this game, the controls are very customisable and I am able to put any button where I like. The fact that a game like this is available for free and with no ads is great. Now for why this game is utterly infuriating. 1. My progress randomly gets set back in story mode, I just open the app to find the game has forgotten I've completed several levels (by level I don’t mean easy factory I mean unfair moonraker). This has put me off progressing the story because I know that the game probably won’t save what I’ve done. I don’t know whether I have to manually save or what but I can’t find a save button anywhere and the game does save a level or two occasionally. I feel like some of the characters are just too different, when I started playing I always used SpeedRunner and now whenever I play as fin of another character I’m utterly lost. Lastly, some maps have blind jumps or turns that are very hard to see if you are in first, making SpeedRunners largely about knowing the map your on and not SpeedRunning.Version: 1.6

The buttons are too small and not adjustable, and the slider idea to control the runner is one of the worst idea that I can imagine, 2buttons would be a lot better, but I think the best would be a digital joystick like on Xbox. ✓ Amazing port, But the slider...Everything about this is great, honestly! It is just like the PC version. I only have two problems: Firstly, I want to play the story offline, don’t see why that should not be available and secondly, The slider is awful and there should be an option to change to two arrows instead as the slider had scuffed my wall jumps so many times..Version: 1.1
