✓ Where is the audiobook section?????When apple screwed up by removing audiobooks from their audio player I looked for an app that could list my audiobooks in the same app as my music. I wanted a single go to app that played my audio, whether I felt like listening to music or listen to a book. The reason for this is 1. I listen to both in my car and didn’t want to risk anyone’s life taking my eyes off the road for a protracted time searching for an app if I finished a book and switched over to music, or vice versa. Which I could do without even looking on the the older better version 2. I don’t particularly want to fill up my phone with bunches of app icons, especially as it’s totally pointless separating your audio into several different apps. A voice is a voice whether they’re talking or singing. Bring back your audiobook selection and I’ll give you 5stars as this app used to be the best app ever before you messed around with perfection and destroyed it..SuperfIyHonkyVersion: 5.0.6

✓ Forget it if you have a huge local libraryI bought a 1TB iPhone Pro Max assuming it could actually play the amount of songs it can hold. Apparently not. Only jetAudio works - not even the built in music.app does. Maybe I’ll save someone some heartache and wasted money and time. A shame because I love Marvis Pro and every update they’ve put out in the last few years I have raced to download hoping they’d have fixed the issue..NotpetVersion: 9.0.1

✓ Confusing interface, lacks basic features useful to musiciansI bought this app based on other reviews, but I was sorely disappointed. The user interface is confusing. It's hard to know where you are. Navigation gestures seem inconsistent. Want to jump around in your playlist? Not easy. Want to go to the album on which the current song appears? ✓ Useless for playing music from FilesI have a number of mp3 files stored on my iPad that I can play one at a time in the Files app but of course Apple’s own Music app won’t play anything that’s not imported via iTunes. Someone recommended Marvis to manage and play my non-iTunes music files but they were very much mistaken. After paying for the app, it seems it only recognises iTunes imported files. ✓ BuggyI'm driving to work listening to music on iPhone iOS 14.2 and half hour in it cuts off but I'm at work so i turn car off and go in. After work it works fine again I'm driving home and half hour in the music cuts off. I use apple CarPlay and I checked a million things, even turned phone on and off, and tried Bluetooth instead of CarPlay but nothing was working. After wasting half hour trying to figure it out I finally just open the regular music app, press pause, then play, and it's fixed. Other than that its a 5 star app. Had to give it three stars until that's fixed UPDATE: thanks to the developer for responding. They kinda admit it's buggy. the issue persisted and the pause play fix stopped working as well so i looked for a different app and found "Soor" and it doesn't have the problem i had with CarPlay so I have requested a refund for marvis pro. ✓ A lot to like, but unusable for meI echo many comments of the great features of this app, but it seems completely broken when Airplaying to my HomePods. The volume control at the bottom of the screen doesn’t control the HomePod volume once I’ve started sending music to it - you have to open the Airplay screen (works fine using volume control on the stock Music app) and once I’ve started playing on my HomePod, selecting the next (or any other) track starts it playing on the iPhone instead of the HomePod. Hope this can be fixed as otherwise it’s a five star app..UKGoo5eVersion: 6.0.1

✓ DisappointedSpent around 4 hours over last few days, rating and liking songs from my library using this app. Had it set up to show the ratings and the likes down the right hand side. The ratings/likes keep disappearing however. At first I thought it was my imagination when songs I thought I’d rated didn’t have ratings. After a while I realised that they keep disappearing. The app had several freezes when rating songs, so I thought maybe that’s why some didn’t work. So I rated them all again, and this time didn’t have any major freezes, so thought I was good. Sadly I wasn’t! I took a screenshot yesterday showing I had 785 songs with ratings. Today it’s gone down to 438. Loved songs went from 531 to 266. I bought this app purely to show the ratings on the songs themselves, so I could see favourites at a glance. Why do the ratings and likes keep disappearing? ✓ DisappointingI feel like I paid $3 for night mode only. The same functions I use in the native iTunes app take additional clicks to perform. Ex. Picking a playlist. Menu>playlists>desired playlist. And it freezes up regularly. Have to cold boot my entire phone to get it working again. Which means I loose the order of songs that I am currently playing though. Overall I find joy in seeing my phone in dark mode while listening to music. Especially while driving at night as my phone rests in the cradle on my dash. So I typically set up what I am listening to in iTunes then switch to Marvis while listening. While I think it was not overpriced for what it promised, it was overpriced for what I got. ✓ Love it, butDozens of crashes. I keep my rating high, as paying for this app; &, a tip, prob helped many others via Apple Music's app(Classical). I'll try this app; & Music Harbor app, again, if I ever upgrade my old iPhone SE 1 & 2. ✓ It’s a good startThere are an adequate amount of customizations. Certainly better than the default music player and I would purchase it again. BUT, I wish the default setup was the way I have mine now. I also wish we could use animated GIFs as the custom background. Randomizing background images. Maybe random photos of the band or artist playing as a background image. Even background visualizations would be next level. Move all options above the keyboard or at the bottom for one hand use. Watch, Mac apps to control the phone, and CarPlay app integration would be nice for a $10 app. Like I said, the app is a good starting point. Update: The new side bar is ugly. Way too much clutter. The literal opposite of what made the previous sidebar so beautiful and enjoyable to use..Blackbery-12Version: 9.0

✓ Not A Replacement for Native Music AppDidn’t take me long to realise that this app is not a standalone app that could replace the iOS native Music app: queueing up the next song has to be done in the native Music app and Siri is not supported by Marvis.
