✓ OkeyIt has good directing and the stories are okey sometimes you send diamond for choices and it’s like nothing so you wasted those diamond that need to be fix. And the wait tor the tickets is super long not like episodes ( favorite app) and you don’t have the chance to buy unlimited tickets like in the other app from Linda Brown. That will be great to get a week or a month passes por a price I pay monthly for episodes. So the wait make the app boring hoy don’t get the emotion to read and forget the app is in your phone. And I will be great if people could make there stories like other apps sometimes the stories from the app are boring and used usually make them better. Need a lot of work..Version: 1.0.48

✓ I really wanted to love this game...The stories are interesting, the graphics and movements of the characters are cool, and I like that you can earn more than 1 diamond an episode, but the way you get tickets doesn’t make any sense. When I’m on my last ticket, it tells me earn more tickets in less than 2 hours, so the time I’m not on the app I should have earned 6-10 tickets but no, ONE ticket. How? So you can only earn tickets by staying logged in to the app, and you can’t progress to the next episode without a ticket, so unless I want to shell out money for tickets, I just sit with the app open and do nothing? Other games give out 4 tickets overnight or whenever you stop playing for long period of time, so why not this one? Also, you rely too much on diamonds for measly decisions. In some stories if you don’t progress with the diamond options, your player is out of the story quick. And you have to restart the story to choose the “diamond” option to play to the end. I don’t mind the “diamond” options, but make them for major decisions in the story. If it wasn’t for these two issues, this would be the best of its kind..Version: 1.1.46

✓ This game was fun. Now just a big problem!The game worked great for the most part all the time and was fun. By season 4 into the game of Recipe Of Love, I saw lots of problems with spelling and calling the guys girls and calling the girls guys. By season 12 it decided to crash and give a message you have to wait until new episodes in May, which makes no sense when the series said I’m on season 12 of 33 of the main series Recipe Of Love. Seasons 12 to 33 does not open. Knowing this happened I’m disappointed and upset I actually spent money on this game. I recommend staying away from this game until it’s fixed!.Version: 2.0.7
✓ There is always a but....This app is EXCELLENT in quality but TERRIBLE in quantity. Story’s are great but you need diamonds to choose your favorite options and they usually cost the majority of the diamonds I have. Further, tickets are frustrating because you get 1 ticket every 2 hours. THAT IS CRAZY!!! I shouldn’t have to wait that long to enjoy the next scene. I’m sure that this large time lapse will lead me to be bored with the app quite soon... I want to see my current story through but it’s just not worth the wait between tickets to continue past that. ✓ Good stories but too annoying to useThe stories are very addicting but I’d like to sit back and enjoy a good interactive game without being forced to pay for a choice. It takes the fun out of the game. I can’t determine the end of my story if I can’t live the story how I’d love it myself. After the stories are over I have to wait 2 hours for more tickets and it kills my mood to even go back on the app. That’s like having a paperback book and being told if I read the next chapter I have to pay somebody. It’s completely and utterly unnecessary. The ads I can deal with. They are perfectly spaced out and just between a few episodes. Not aggravating at all. ✓ The overall system of these games.First. I am in no way shape or form dissing these stories as they are all great. It’s the system of the game that I find to be bad. The diamonds are the only thing that can keep your stories interesting and have them keep going and you get one diamond at the end of every episode and two if you watch an ad after the episode. You can only play about 3 episodes before you have to wait 2 hours to play again. And that is just not fun at all. My suggestion here, is to use diamonds to buy new stories and have ads in between episodes to still earn money for the game. And have it so you can watch ads to get diamonds to unlock new stories. And just remove the ticket system all together as people like to binge games like these and not have to wait two hours to play again..Version: 1.1.19

Poorly translated from other languages with mixed idioms, misspelled words, and awkward (even cringey) dialogue. Sophomoric storylines, even for this type of platform. Also very sexist at times. ✓ Love the Graphics....Dislike the lack of DiversityI love the graphics of these particular stories compared to other apps, and the stories are pretty fleshed out. However, the lack of being able to customize the main character is disconcerting. Most of the female main characters are not diverse, it would help to have the option to customize the main character in each book like other apps do. ✓ Grammar comparable to 6 year oldThe grammar and spelling is so bad that I couldn’t take it seriously as being made by professionals. Certainly they could have had someone proof read these before publishing? I couldn’t tell if the creators were even English speaking, which is fine, but that’s why you need to have someone proof it before making available to the public. Otherwise, the concept is good. ✓ RidiculousThe plot and dialogue as well as the graphics and looks of this app is actually good. But the amount of diamonds that you use for a choice compared to how much you earn is ridiculous. You can’t even make the right choice/decision without having to spend 20 diamonds or more on it. You don’t start out with that much, so after one choice it’s either pay for diamonds or make basic decisions that impact the story negatively. How are you supposed to enjoy the stories if you have the smallest amount of control over them. I mean honestly, I get developers need to make money, but this is extreme. I’m better off with Choices or Episode for crying out loud. I wouldn’t even mind the paying for diamonds if every choice wasn’t 20+ diamonds. What makes it worse is that every other choice is a diamond choice. I read other reviews, but proceeded to download so I could have an unbiased opinion. By the way, the copy and pasted response that you provide people with when they voice their concerns is lame honestly. It’s lame because someone who works on this app sees it, someone is aware of how people feel, and here we are still dealing with the same bull. ✓ Great GameThis is a great game but It takes forever to get tickets and to keep playing because the max is only 2 tickets unless you buy some. I think that you should make the max higher so that we can play more because it takes too long to keep playing. The gems also affect a lot of the story and it’s a little unnecessary because I should be able to wear an outfit without having to use diamonds. I understand some choices you make with diamonds but I would like to change clothes once and a while without using diamonds. ✓ Great game but developers Nov 2020 change makes expensiveI have played this game for about six months. At first you could watch ads and keep your cost of buying outcomes low. The game preys on your instinct to make the best choices for the hero or heroine. Each good choice costs a minimum of 20 crystals. Forty-four crystals cost $3.99 US dollars. You have to spend a minimum of 20 crystals every three episodes at minimum for a good outcome in the end. As a result after 10 groups of 20 episodes or 200 episodes it is a lot of money. Before the change this month the app offered the opportunity for you to watch 4 commercials and get four crystals. That way after 5 episodes you had 20 crystals and could choose a good outcome, keeping the expenditures reasonable. Now the app tells you only 1 commercial is available or maybe two, so it takes between 10 and 20 episodes to get a good outcome for one episode. Not enough for a good outcome and forcing you to buy crystals. It is not worth it in my mind. The graphics are nice and some stories are good, but there are spelling errors, grammar errors you will have to interpret. I finished one story but after what I had to pay to get through it will delete this app to avoid it..Version: 1.1.50

✓ Choiceless Choice AppAfter downloading I chose to play the “Vampyra” story. I found it cheesy at first, but the games “choices” are extremely limited. Initially it’s either hooking up with or not hooking up with various people, and these continue to be most of what you’ll decide. However, by chapter four even that choice disappears. A character called (and I’m not kidding) Kurt Vonnegut asks if you’d like to have a drink with him. You can say no, but either way, he’ll show up later and your character agrees to “one drink”. You’re then given the diamond choice to sleep with him and the free choice to kiss him. No choice to do nothing exists. Poor dialogue and goofy graphics aside, this game also forces you to do things like this. Hard pass..Version: 1.0.49

Positive is really good to show how the choice do you want going to be, they show for you to see and learning about love or not love, or just show the best choice, it really wonderful as for your future in a relationships is good or bad! ✓ I liked it until...I liked the Recipe for Love storyline until it brought in a lesbian/threesome storyline. I felt this was completely unnecessary, overtly sexual, and goes against my Christian values. I still have unused tickets that I paid for, but had to delete the app once the characters started talking about threesomes and porn. I like a good love story, but that direction is not my thing, and it felt entirely forced just to keep the story going. Also, the tickets that I paid for were disappearing every few episodes. I would go from having 28 tickets one episode to 25 the next episode. Sometimes I would not be offered any opportunity for the extra diamonds, and you don’t accumulate any free tickets once you’ve purchased tickets, which feels like a ripoff because you accumulate them every couple of hours if you don’t pay... Another thing is that it’s obvious the creators of this app/story are not native English speakers. Sometimes the usage of certain words weren’t used in the proper context, and there were very obvious typos that added to the disappointment of this app. I wish I could get my money back, but I guess you live and learn..Version: 1.1.77
✓ Short episodes. Paid options are worthless for the most partI hate it that it takes me less then 3 min to complete an episode. I am also playing “Storyscape”, and each episode is about 20 min long! I don’t like that the options I need to pay for are sometimes worthless. Here are some of the examples. In one episode, there was an option to call someone (for 20 diamonds), so I did, but there was no service. In another episode there was an option to record a crime scene (for like 30 diamonds or so), so I did. Then someone hit me, I lost my phone. When the police found it, all the data had been erased. ✓ Too frustrating if you aren’t willing to pay moneyWhile the first story was interesting, I deleted the app partway into the 3rd episode because I was getting too frustrated. Almost every choice gave only two options and one (the “right” choice) usually required diamonds, of which you are not given many for free. So, unless you’re willing to spend real money, you’re just going to be frustrated by the fact that you must choose options that you don’t like and that cause problems for your character. Not a lot of fun, which is too bad, because otherwise the story was enjoyable and the animation is decent..Version: 1.0.38
✓ Good game but $$$ hungryThis is a fun, well crafted game with good storylines and options - at certain points you get to choose between 2 choices to determine your fate. ✓ Recipe of love or Recipe of Disappointment?I’d have to say the latter as it’s been very disappointing and because of this I have had to change my rating and stars from 5 to 1.. At first this story and app was so great I really enjoyed it and loved the storyline and choices however since season 5 suddenly you have hardly any choices at all and everything changes when you don’t want it too and your no longer with the guy you chose at start and who you spent countless gems on to have them together, They break up and not by your choice by the writers, This is all after she finally gets her restaurant and passion alive she then starts to obsess over her new chef neighbour who as a reader I had no interest in whatsoever but once again no choices because the writer wanted it that way so they kiss etc, Season 6 is worse she is now single and flirting with famous celebrity’s, two in fact thru a dating site and we still haven’t seen Adam or Tom again at all who were your choices from season 1 (by choice) and your now playing this story by stringing along two men and acting like you don’t care about anyone’s feelings anymore or your restaurant or your previous love anymore (I chose Tom and still do) It’s super annoying and I no longer enjoy this app or story as I have very limited choices in what I now do or who I chose to be with and the storyline just isn’t great anymore, I’m Still deciding on whether to delete it as journeys interactive account on instagram won’t reply to any of my posts regarding this so I’m guessing they eithor don’t care or the story has definitely changed and not for the better for the reader and so they ignore me... ✓ Disappointing lack of diversityHaven’t dug too deep into any particular story, graphics look amazing but wow for lots of these... there are little to no options to represent yourself as a person of color or to have a love interest as a person of color, I tried to explore how that might change as I unlocked more stories (especially since a series seems to be centered around a white woman character) but the majority are still that way... ✓ OkI think this story app is ok but a bit amateur in parts, especially the first story I chose to read ( which I’m still reading) the part that mentioned 2 people trapped in a cabin in the woods & one of them forgot their tablets that prevents diabetes, that don’t make sense cos you can’t prevent diabetes, you either have it or you don’t, other than done spelling errors as well.Version: 1.0.9

✓ Payments, choices and ticketsI think it’s a great game but I feel you should be allowed to play as many episodes whenever you want at whatever time you want and not have to wait hours for tickets. I also feel it’s unfair that certain choices you have to pay with gems just to pick that choice, you should be able to choose whatever you want, tickets I feel should be whenever you want to use them, you only get 2 every 2 hours which results in a lot of waiting. ✓ The best story game in the App Store!!The look of this game is phenomenal. The plot and story lines are great and attention grabbing. I took one star off because the choices are expensive and you can’t enjoy the game without spending diamonds on choices. If you don’t spend diamonds you can’t enjoy the stories. However, I do like that you can now get daily bonuses with the new feature which helps tremendously and does provide an incentive to keep playing. It would be nice if this stays around as a permanent feature. I personally like the time limits for tickets on the game as it adds some discipline so you can live your real life and then come back to the game when you’re ready for a getaway! My favorite story is “Linda Brown: Time to Choose”. I’ve been playing it for months now and I really love it! #TeamRodrigo I hope you guys do more Linda Brown stories in the future. ✓ My personal feelings about the gameI bought this game because the ad seemed interesting and I was getting bored with the other story games I have. I don’t think I’m going to continue playing this game though. I feel as if my choices don’t matter because it is the same outcome. I played recipe of love chapter two twice. In both scernios Jennifer still hates you and the recipe still gets ruined. My second thing that was bothering me was that no matter what I do, the character gets mad. If I party with my friend, my boss is upset. If I don’t and be responsible, I hurt my friend. If I am serious in my introduction, Jennifer doesn’t like me. If I am sweet in my introduction, Jennifer doesn’t like me. If I don’t accept the phone number from one of the brothers, the game gives me a thumb down. Another thing that bothers me is I have yet to find a female love interest in the stories. This bothers me because I feel the pride community should be included in the stories as well. ✓ Great game BUTLook, this game is addictive. However you can’t authentically create your own journey because it takes way too many stars to go off the beaten path. 20 stars just to do something fun. Then you’re stuck declining anything romantic the rest of the game. Even dressing different takes 20 stars.
