✓ How About A Little Common Sense?When two or more players choose the exact same music option, then go with that choice. In ‘Arena Mode’ I’ve seen three players choose #1 Hits of the 70’s, but, instead, one other unrelated choice is selected by your CPU. Silly, right? Okay, just so I’ve covered the ‘What If?’ scenarios: If it’s two of the same choice vs. two other music titles of same choice, have your CPU RNG flip a coin. Also, how about incorporating a 2 sec. ‘Leave Game’ button when a player has no familiarity with the CPU choice made in Arena Mode. Based on the data associated with the player leaving the game, over time, the CPU would better know what other music selections would be acceptable to the remaining players and increase the likelihood that they would stay to play. Example: I select #1 Hits of the 70’s (I’m located in the USA), but the CPU chooses Essential Hits from Germany. Do you actually believe I’m going to stay in that game? NICHT!! One last comment. Based on the name selection of the other players I compete against, I feel like I’m at a Bot convention. Either disclose the Bot presence or have a more creative algorithm come up with human-like relatable names. Better yet, explain your methodology and be honest. Is that too much to ask? [That’s a rhetorical question.] Wise up dudes!.Version: 2.1
✓ Good but….It’s a great game, but since the new phone update, I would come last when I very well new the song all because of my phone was too close to my face and it stopped my screen and I couldn’t click, it’s also way too hard to get keys to unlock abilities. ✓ Cool Concept, Needs lots of workWhile the premise is fun the game needs a lot of work all around. Major glaring issues are matchmaking is glitchy, 1/5 times I have to force quit because it hangs at matchmaking. I keep getting international playlist matches which is ridiculous when half the songs are in a foreign language and the answers are too. Localize this please, language is asked at the start, defeats the purpose. Another big issues is the UI is very sluggish and unintuitive. Having to navigate genre then hit back the. Select playlist then hit back again is so rudimentary. Lots of wasted screen space. Fun game otherwise but yeah lots of issues to keep us coming back for more..Version: 1.3
✓ Was good, but now brokenWas enjoying it but had recently started crashing at every attempt to change genre or playlist, so is effectively unplayable. Whilst I have your attention, there needs to be a few more playlists unlocked per genre at the start than just one, playing the same one multiple times is a dull start. ✓ Doesn’t work well with new TV remoteLove this game, but it does not work with the new Apple TV remote well at all. You can only swipe and the clicking doesn’t work. ✓ Bots are a bit overpowered.I am only rating this a 2 star because of the fact that I have been on a road trip for awhile and I saw this game and wanted something new to play. I didn’t want to use all of my cellular data, and sometimes the service sucked so I just played solo. And so far, I have only one twice against the bots. I have been playing this game a lot and only won twice. There are some songs that I don’t know, but even if I do know them the bots all somehow select the correct option faster than me, and they ALL press the right option. Overall fun game, just not my favorite because of the bots, could use some improvement, but overall mediocre game 👌.Version: 1.3

✓ Crashes and losses all historyI do actually really like this game but it is beyond frustrating to be playing and have it crash. I’ve lost over a month of gameplay history. At first I thought it was an issue with playing it on Apple TV as it would happen frequently there. I never really had an issue with my iPhone so I switched to solely playing it via iPhone instead of Apple TV. I did have two saved spots and during a crash while trying to complete the Indepence day challenge, it erased the save of the game I’d been working on for the past month. Now it will only let me play the lists I earned if I play Arena. I DON"T WANT TO PLAY ARENA. Let me play the game the way I want to. ✓ Great game but annoying bugsThis is a great game and I really enjoy playing it. It can get a bit buggy, but what annoys me the most is that is that the system seems to privileges some players. Sometimes the time count is more generous to other players, for example it counts them within a second while they take longer then two-three seconds to guess. ✓ Great app but won’t fix issuesI love this game so much but it has deleted my entire progress twice. I emailed the support team and received updates that they were looking into it only to be told that they do not have any fix and aren’t actively working on one. When I looked up the issue on google and Reddit it seems there are many people that have had the same issue. It doesn’t matter if you save the game still does this. This game would be a 5 star if they fix this issue. I gave the game a second chance when it did it the first time but it happened a second time despite multiple saves. ✓ ✨⚠️Read Before Downloading⚠️✨EDIT: I just read through the reviews and saw that other people have experienced this issue and they still have no response from support, one person even made two reviews about this and still has nothing from support, so I changed my rating from 4 stars to 1 star and I will delete the game; Down below is my original post explaining the issue. I got Apple Arcade only a few days ago and have been really enjoying this game, For some reason my progress keeps being lost; I’ve had to replay the tutorial three times and purchase my favorite character in shop again twice, when I first lost my data I thought I got hacked so I changed my Apple ID information so people can’t hack me and then I still lost my progress and had to start everything all over again, including the may event and I feel so hurt by this because the skin is really cute and there’s only a few days left. I deleted and reinstalled the game today, so I had to replay the tutorial for three times now, I really hope that this issue can be fixed because I don’t want to keep redoing achievements over and over again only to just lose my progress once more. Also, I have my data collection turned on and have even saved my game and it still kept resetting..Version: 1.9

Playing solo or locally with a friend is fun and varied. Playing online in the arena is very repetitive and once done, you might then win every game. Unlocking a new playlist and going into the arena and the game crashed every time. I played the same playlist in solo and it worked without crashing..Version: 1.0
✓ Data collectionI only got to play it once, because after you play solo once, the game requires you to play arena, and will not allow you to play solo again until you play arena. Arena requires that you accept data collection, if you do not accept data collection, then you cannot play the game any longer, it is locked to only allow you to play arena, and the only way you can play arena is to accept data collection. I do not want to play arena and I do not want to accept data collection, so I am not able to play the game. It’s kind of a dirty trick to force you to allow them to collect your data- I do not like that sort of underhanded behavior..Version: 2.1

✓ Fun for little bit, then becomes unplayable. Bad algorithmsThe playlists play the same songs every time. You choose from song/artist choices that literally never get played. If the wrong answers from the choices you were given were actually ever played, it would make it more interesting. You end up becoming or playing against players who basically memorize the answers. I could win without even having my sound on by ruling out the songs that never play. This app needs updating. ✓ Fun game, but refuses to save my dataThis game is fun, and has a lot of great songs and categories to play, but every time I closed the app it would reset my progress, despite it saying the game was saved. The first time I figured it was just a bug and I worked to recover everything I recovered, and then played for a few more hours. But the second time when it reset, the amount of progress I lost felt really daunting. The strange part was it finally let me skip the tutorial (which I wasn’t able to do the first reset) which makes me think it knows I’ve played before, but it still didn’t have my data. It’s a fun quiz game, and if you’re really into music the party mode would be great to play with family, but the fact that I’ve been reset twice makes me not want to keep playing..Version: 2.3.1

✓ Great thing but one annoying thing.Game would be perfect but don’t think people should be able to select songs from solely their country or you should be able to opt out of it as it’s always a guaranteed win for that player. Oh yeah let’s play a round where you don’t understand any of the songs, the songs are only known in that country and you have no chance unless you either speak the language or live in that country. ✓ Fun But GlitchedI really like this game, it fun and I love all the music. I love playing against other people in the Arena. I like to play each music category and level them up to the same level before moving on, this gives me great variety. I buy new music playlists and characters along the way with the keys I earn. Here’s the problem: I didn’t have an issue until I got all of my music categories to level 3. Now, as I go along, it will spontaneously glitch back to a random “saved” time in the game. My character changes back to whatever I was at that point and I lose all the level progress, song playlists and characters I’ve achieved. I have bought the same darn playlist THREE times because it keeps glitching back to before I bought it. I have even tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. No dice, still does it. It’s frustrating enough for me to stop playing it since I can’t make any headway..Version: 1.1.1
✓ Great game, flawed app!It’s a fantastic game but since the latest update I’ve been in lobbies with people from other countries and played playlists in other languages. It’s not fair, it needs to change. I can only speak English, I’ve never listened to Spanish songs, so me being put into a Spanish lobby is entirely pointless and unfair, I can’t play. It’s a waste of time. I just played with a French person, it played an English playlist and they clearly struggled, they only got 100 points. By guessing “baby shark” and “I’m blue” which are both universally known. Language lobbies need to be added. I just came back to this game after a few months of forgetting it existed to find the exact same problem. I just got matched with a German player. It’s not fun to not stand a chance at winning. ✓ Has potential but limited songsThis is promising, but as it stands each playlist needs a LOT more songs. Seems like there’s only maybe 20 per playlist, so play more than one game and you get the same songs coming up again and again. Could do with a broader repertoire of specific playlists (Nu-Wave, BritPop) and maybe even ones that span multiple decades (girl groups, wedding party, singer-songwriters) to make it that much more challenging. I think the main things the game needs is a chat feature, where we can talk to other players in a game, whether it is to agree on great songs, or complement each other’s speed. Another feature I would like is a report feature, to report cheaters and people on VPNs. Like why is my ping worse than they next guys? Otherwise I love the game. At the same time, I already pay for Apple Arcade. So why is it necessary that I need keys to unlock characters, playlists, and artists. I don’t feel it’s necessary to pay keys to unlock. ✓ Original much betterOriginal SongPop was/is amazing and only problem was unreliable connection with users phones…remote app to control Apple TV host was disconnecting every time “bottom swipe” changed app and the whole game had to be restarted. New Arcade SongPop lack of in-game purchases to speed up opening categories (good or bad you can decide) bit biggest problem is much smaller database of songs on each level… so every game has 8/10 repeated tracks from the previous one. Original game was handling it much better. Has to be fixed as after 5 games nobody wants to play bored of the same answers..Version: 1.1.1
✓ Can’t keep account or save progressGame is awesome and I love to play it but my account has reset 4 times. Spend a ton of time playing and unlocking content, just to randomly have it erased every month when I pay my Apple Arcade subscription. All of my achievements are still there, and it shows my points, but every category I work hard to unlock is inaccessible and I have to start over. All for it to happen again the next month. ✓ Bugs are not being addressedI’ve been playing mostly on my iPad or phone for a few weeks. A friend who lives across the county started playing and it was fantastic to play with her and her husband. Then her progress was all lost on her phone. She lost keys and categories she’d unlocked. I added the game to my AppleTV to play with friends that had come over. Last week I opened the AppleTV app and my progress is all reset on that app. It can see all my achievements, just not my save file. She and I have both submitted tickets to support and there hasn’t been any response. I also opened a ticket because the Switch controller’s buttons aren’t mapped correctly..Version: 2.2.1

✓ Can’t play without crashingThe idea of the game and when it works is great, however it’s quite buggy at the moment and I’ve been experiencing a couple of issues. Firstly the game crashes almost every time I try to play. Sometimes it’s as soon as I’ve opened the app, and sometimes it’s in the middle of a game which is very frustrating. Currently playing on a 2020 iPad Pro so the hardware shouldn’t be the issue. Secondly the song from the playlists are always the same. When you are able to actually play a game it’s always a repeat of the songs from the playlist. Hope to see the game updated in future as is fun to play, when it works..Version: 1.0
✓ Crashes every time I try to play and packs in FrenchI rarely write reviews. But for this I’ll make an exception. I know it’s an arcade game so you don’t pay individually for it. But it at least should work. I’m on a 2018 iPad Pro and the game just simply doesn’t work. Every time I tap on the playlist I’m playing on, it just crashes back to the desk top. It used to work to be fair, but it doesn’t now. Also when it was working - I spent some earned keys on a playlist (TV themes) only to find it was all French TV programs with French titles. ✓ Score not being updatedThe soundtrack list does not add my score after the match. I'm one of the top spots on the soundtrack lists, and I wanted to keep that position. But for months there has been this problem and it has not been fixed. I have the ios updated and everything works perfectly, except this game. I have sent several emails to support regarding this issue and no one replied. New lists and characters have been added, but they should also fix the old problems. ✓ Fun, but...Overall this is am interesting game, but with a few problems. If you don’t have a super strong internet connection it will lock up during Arena play or even solo play. Also, once you enter Arena play, you are stuck until it figures out the other players. There is no way to stop it should it not find anyone so you have to close it out. Waited nearly 5 minutes for a fourth person to be added before I said forget it and closed the app. Finally, you should be able to leave an arena game before it starts picking the category. Ended up with three other players with Taylor Swift as their category and I couldn’t tell you any of her songs because I actively avoid listening to her. I know that is on me for not knowing her songs, but if I could have left the arena before the category was chosen I would not have to screwed up the game for the other three players. ✓ Lose all your progressI don’t usually leave reviews but I thought I should post one to warn people or get the developers attention. This game as a HUGE bug where you lose your progress every time you open the app. This makes the game kind of unplayable or boring. When you start the game you only have access to limited playlists. You then work your way to get keys to unlock new playlists, this is where the actual fun of the game is as you can explore your favourite sub-genres etc. It takes a long time to unlock new playlists and then when the bug occurs you feel devastated as all the time you put into this is wasted. You are left with the default repetitive playlists and then eventually quit the game and don’t return to it.Version: 1.9
✓ It’s not badThe quality is okay ig but it’s very difficult. I know a ton of songs but I only know a few of the songs on this app. Can you maybe put some newer songs that are a little more popular? ✓ Fun But Major ProblemWe downloaded this game on Saturday and played it for hours. We had so much fun. It was easy to play and had lots of music options. Fast forward to the next day, we are unable to play the arena portion because every time we select it and it goes through the process of adding other players and picking a category, the game boots us out and back to the AppleTV Home Screen. Every. Single. Time. We’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the game, changing settings, even installing it on a brand new AppleTV, but it still does the same thing. I downloaded this on my daughter’s iPad last night and it works on that but when she created a party room and I joined it, guess what? I was booted out of the app once the song guessing portion started. On her iPad, it told her I left due to no WiFi signal. First of all, our AppleTV is connected to internet via Ethernet cable straight into the box. And second, I tried unplugging the cable and using the WiFi since it was working on the iPad, but still had the same results. I’m at a loss on why this game worked perfectly the first day, but now won’t work on the AppleTV. I’d really like this to be fixed so we can go back to dominating the categories..Version: 1.3
✓ Fun, it crashes a lotIt’s a fun game, but it crashes a lot. I’m playing on brand new hardware, with a fresh iOS install, and it seems like when it gets time to actually play a round and load in the other players there’s 50/50 chance that the app will crash and kick me out to my Home Screen. Which is a bummer..Version: 1.0
✓ What Music genreThis app does not know genre !!! Some of the signs in the category are not in the right category it’s totally stupid.Version: 1.7.1
