✓ Not worth a pennyGame play is the most important component in my opinion, and this poorly written game can’t even do that. Cards aren’t actually executed (damage is done for example, but forcing cards to be discarded is ignored). Secondly, the progression is reasonable until the Demon Lich, and then like so many others, the temptation to crank it to 11 has struck, even though you are never given enough time to build up a competitive deck (yes, I understand in your great wisdom there is some path to beat it, but I could care less now). Finally, it’s boring. The card selection is pathetic, your choices make almost no difference, and gameplay gets lame after a few hours. Save your money..IamhootisVersion: 1.50

✓ I regret purchasing this gameThe idea and implementation are great, yet I have found “simulated difficulty” multiple times. For instance I use a card that will remove up to 3 action points. I use the card and it removes 3 bringing the enemy to 0. The enemy has 0 mana, yet uses 3 attack cards and 1 mana card and kills me... Of course it’s the final enemy before I can shrine and fight the boss. This is impossible, they were not cards played that require no ap or mana, I watched the entire thing and they were 100% action and mana cards. There have been multiple times where this occurs. Other times I see an enemy use a lvl 1 block, 1 star, and receive 6 total block. I have also had situations where I had 5 block the enemy uses a single damage card and I not only lose all 5 block but take damage as well. In all these instances there were no status effects on myself or the enemy. I can’t keep playing a game that randomly decides when it will kill me, a game that hardly plays by the rules it lays out. I wont request a refund because I really enjoyed the game, but I wont waste any more time on it..Junk app....Version: 1.50

✓ Great game — terrible pricingThe game is very fun and unique (only did one play-through though so not sure about it’s longevity). I would pay a couple bucks for it but it’s a monthly subscription which seems scammy. I’d rather own it outright than forget about a subscription on an old game or have pricing change without me noticing. The game is good but not worth the hassle. ✓ Good game but locked already-paid-for contentThis is a good game but I shouldn’t have to buy it twice. I paid for it when I initially downloaded it in May, 2019. I enjoyed it, including experimenting with all of the classes. Now I tried to return in January, 2021, only to discover that almost all of the classes are now locked behind an in-app purchase. I get giving a taste for free and asking to pay to unlock the full game, but those of us who owned the game before the switch should have credit for the in-app purchase. ✓ False Advertising! Not a free game! It’s a demo!So, to start upfront: the demo leads me to believe that the game is actually well made and quite enjoyable. The pace is great, creativity and themes are all there, with a touch of dnd referencing. Wonderful really. BUT, and it’s a big one. The App Store says purchases in game, but what it fails to tell you is you will be locked out after 10min of play(or if you sleep your phone or close out the game) and it will tell you to pay a subscription in order to keep playing. Major downside. If it was spend money for more characters/cards etc or 1 upfront cost to own the game, this would be probably a 4.5-5star review. But this is blatant false advertising and it should be taken off the App Store until it is revised to reflect a subscription cost as mandatory, and that your only downloading a demo..AlfirindelVersion: 1.73.2

✓ Plays like a beta buildI really want to like this game, but unfortunately a poorly designed interface and an AI that is rigged to win removes that possibility. The first problem starts with a bunch of character creation that uses a series of hidden stats that may combine to make unplayable characters. After many attempts at this game I have found that the character choices are very limited and once you find a functioning one there is little to no reason to change. As for the user interface the enemies slam through there actions with no explanation. Luckily there is a history list during play. Unfortunately when you click on anything it shows up as a small text box under your finger. Yep. My fingers still aren’t see through. Hey when I can get an invisible hand I will. But my final frustration was a boss that constantly made me discard my whole hand and raised shields. I would have 0-2 cards per turn at max level and maybe do 1 damage. Basically I got locked down in game because that’s called a challenge? Why not just click on the boss and have it start with a “defeated” text? Honestly if the game moves to a full 2.0 overhaul I’d try it again. I love deck builders, I really do. I’ve beta tested a few too. ✓ Amusing until the Big Boss appearsThis could be a pleasant deck builder but a big boss with three time the player’s hit points that begins battle invulnerable, reduces player’s attacks to pin pricks, discards player’s hand every second round and does massive damage is, to say the very least, poorly designed. ✓ Maybe it’s me?I wanted to like this game, I’ve played so many similar ones but I just got into this type of games What I don’t like is starting all over if you die, I feel like the cards just aren’t interesting. Maybe i haven’t gotten that far in the game but I never get pass the 3rd boss I probably need to keep at it. I feel as if there isn’t enough good cards to get me over the hump.
