VA Health Chat for Negative User Reviews

FailCannot log in. Multiple attempts over multiple days. Don’t advertise something that doesn’t work. Deleting.Version: 8.0.0

Still junkJust an update that as of 12/20/22, it still won’t log you in at all “There was an error trying to log you in. Please log in again.” Similar, I’ll try being on hold for 1/2hr and being hung up on with the VA Telephone service. 2 stars for vague attempt and pretty colors.Version: 9.5.0

Same as alwaysOnce again the VA finds a way to mess things up. Second time trying to use the app. Still can’t log in. Consistently getting an error. Yes the user name and password are correct. Yea you agree with that but no I still can’t use it. One more useless tool no one can use. Thanks for nothing..Version: 11.0.1

Would rate at 0 stars but not an optionCompletely useless. Maybe the VA folks in charge of this will continue to develop it to where it is somewhat useful. Don’t waste your time and just use the normal browser. Disappointed.Version: 9.5.0

Waste of spaceI got an email from the VA this morning to try this app. After numerous errors trying to sign in, I finally get to the home screen, and it has me connected to Colorado VA instead of Arizona VA. I wrongfully assumed that if the VA was inviting me to use the app that it would be useful. Nope. Another waste of taxpayer dollars and more frustrations for Veterans. Update (to developers response): If it’s not ready for everyone to use it, don’t notify everyone that they can keep checking to see if it might be useful. That further exacerbates the frustrations Veteran’s deal with daily attempting to get care from the bureaucracy that is supposed to be helping us. Advertise it to the users in the pilot program areas and save the national announcement for when EVERYONE can use it. Get someone ITIL certified to manage this deployment 🤬.Version: 9.5.0

Worthless. Waste of time.No problem, signing in the application, and finding my clinic, which said that they are open. I sent a message, and one hour later still have not heard anything. Seems like just another waste of taxpayer dollars at veterans expense. Don’t waste your time..Version: 9.5.0

UnusableI can sign into the other VA apps. I cannot sign into this one. Unusable. Also, I can’t find where to message my providers in original VA health app. Has that functionality been moved to this app? Does this mean I can’t message my team anymore?.Version: 9.5.0

HorribleFirst I took me about an hour to authenticate before it timed out (I tried authenticating it via several logins). Than when I was able to securely connect (after 3 different “codes”) I was hold on the queue for 20 min before I quit. Don’t waste your time this app…it needs to be developed a little more..Version: 9.5.0

VA wasting time and moneyThese applications aren’t worth the time and effort being put into building them. I haven’t been able to login at all, despite all of the troubleshooting with them. The hyperlinks to other sites for FAQs don’t work, and apparently when you do happen to login, it launches everything in a browser. So what is the reasoning to pay a developer to build a mobile application that brings you right back to communicating in the browser? When is the VA and Congress going to actually CARE and fix these issues? I guess I’ll just continue to wait the standard timing for an actual appointment..Version: 3.14.2

Doesn’t WorkLike most things the VA tries to do like this, implementation is horrible. I couldn’t figure it out and I’m an IT guy so good luck to a regular Vet. Sad we spent money on this garbage..Version: 9.5.0

Too many options to sign inI don’t know why the VA has 4 different ways of signing in…causes technical bugs throughout the sign in process. K.I.S.S. One username/password with MFA..Version: 9.5.0

Signing your life awayWhy would I sign up for an app that asks me for my name, date of birth, full social security, phone number, and street address? So that you can track me, steal my identity, or both? Just ridiculous… just to chat? Really? Skip. Don’t waste your time..Version: 8.0.0

UnusableEvery time I attempt to log in, before I can do the verification code it will start all over again. Basically like calling the VA and getting disconnected after being on hold.Version: 9.5.0

Login errorUnable to get logged into the app. I go through the Login.gov sign in process. On the last step it fails with error, “An error was encountered while attempting to complete the login process. “.Version: 9.5.0

Waste of timeI tried to login and it doesn’t let me regardless..Version: 8.0.0

Much easier to just callScheduling and Pharmacy chats didn’t go smoothly. Not sure why the VA offers this if it’s not fully operational yet. Seemed like a good idea, but calling is way easier and less frustrating..Version: 9.5.0

WorthlessCan’t log in with any of the three options. Constant error messages. Guess I will have better luck sitting on hold on the phone forever to get half the help that I need from the VA….Version: 9.5.0
