✓ Bug fix , needs workThe second level needs another 3 seconds on power can’t get over hill tried multiple ways and the crafting section should not have shop there you’ve just become money hungry make it like the first one was actually decent this one’s too money hungry if you want a proper game play the first one highly recommended as for this one don’t bother it’s not the same . The first one is fantastic all round This one needs a revamp as when crafting rover it has like a pushiest type with parts your stuck with to use try and make it less like that maybe 🤔 like suggest but not force..Version: 0.3.1
✓ AlmostI am SO glad RoverCraft is back again. It was by far one of my favorite apps. The sequel is just as amazing, I just think it needs a few tweaks. Parts and part upgrades are much much harder to obtain. The daily cargo thing doesn’t give many rewards, and the cooldown is multiple multiple hours. If you get stuck on a story mode mission, you have to wait for the reset on the cargo run, and then HOPE it gives you upgrade parts for something you need. If it doesn’t? Wait many long hours again and hope it does next time. I also very much miss the ability to replay levels. I reaaaally wish that would come back. Even for half or quarter of the rewards. I just want something to do other than the same story mission I’ve been stuck on for a day. Otherwise? Still a great game. The physics are nice and the gameplay is smooth. A little lag with the throttle control, but nothing major. My only complaint or suggestion would revolve around part acquisition. EDIT : new found issue. 9 times out of 10 when I watch an ad to revive at a checkpoint, I immediately die again at the checkpoint and I’m forced to the menu..Version: 0.2.0

✓ They sold the soul of this gameTook the fun of the first one and sucked it all out with monetization. Oh you moved something to the wrong spot before you hit start? now you have to wait 5 seconds While we beg you to spend hc or watch an add instead of being able to instantly restart. No more strategy about how to invest your coins now it’s all loot boxes and crossing your fingers you get the right part. You regularly get to point where you just have to wait hours for another delivery mission to be available or you can’t progress without paying. Game isn’t about fun anymore, it’s just how much can they squeeze out of this before people realize what a money grab it is ☹️ Edit: Thanks for the reply, a huge step to improving the game would be to add a way to get cargo boxes that isn’t on a timer. The reason I loved the first one is because when I hit a wall I just needed to grind coins until I can upgrade enough to progress further so every time I played I was making progress which isn’t the case now. ✓ Hustler appOf course some of the levels are difficult but after some thinking and engineering you can get through them with ease till you get towards the final part of the game such as level 7 in Marena. It’s impassable. I’ve been trying to pass this level for couple weeks now and have tried to outfit my craft in every way possible and there is still no way to pass this level but the app keeps wanting you to buy extra stuff. ✓ Annoying notification alertsFor whatever reason, I’m triggered when I get alerts in a game for new stuff. Like, a big red exclamation mark when there’s a new item in the shop so you have to open the shop and view the item, and close the shop, so you can eliminate the “new” notification. That doesn’t trigger me but in this game, even after opening the shop and viewing the “new deal” the devs want you to see (I.g. A $5 bundle)… the notification doesn’t go away! ✓ Cards make for grindy play throughYou can’t just download this and in a couple days expect to have enough cards to get through some levels. BIG TIP FOR THE ICE LEVEL- use the flag to break the ice. I managed to play the whole way through without the icebreaker. As for the level that is underground. It is nearly impossible to finish 8 without three regular batteries. This is messed up. The charge should hold up better. I have two of each battery and can not pass the 8th level in Karen’s after over 8 hours of playing this level with a good amount of skill. It’s just impossible. Also watching the ad to start from a checkpoint is often BROKEN. Please fix this. I watch an ad and expect to start from a checkpoint and once the game resumes it says “driver down”. What was the point of me watching the ad, to then see my driver dies immediately before I can move. Please fix this devs. I will not make any purchases in this game until these random loot boxes are at least 1 USD, per box. 3 USD is too high for me to gamble with. 3 items randomly for 3 USD, and I have 22 items. There is no value here. What I need is battery cards that’s it. Why not let me buy that and that only? I can’t watch videos for gems. And no more free gems to unlock with progression through XP. ✓ Game is rigged.Unlike “Rovercraft,” where you have freedom to “craft,” that is not the case with this game. Missions is basically the whole game, but you cannot win enough to upgrade or get new parts. You have to buy boxes from the store, which only give you exp for parts you already have, and a chance to win a new fixed part, not random. There is 1 chance to get a part per stage, and it’s from sending cargo.. but you can only do it 1 time, not repeatable. The other mode is basically endurance, with no rewards. Even the missions are nonsense, because they try to give you an “extra” load to carry on every mission, that is shaped differently on every mission, you have to build around it. AND.. I find that parts are more fragile and damage prone. The game physics are basically the same, nothing to complain about there. But I would NOT recommend this to anyone else to waste their time thinking it’s just like Rovercraft or a part 2.. i would still play Rovercraft 1. In fact I would download and play pong first. A severe lack of content in the game as well missions, there’s only like 4 stages with about 8 missions each.. really not worth wasting your time, stick with Rovercraft 1, more fun, more freedom, more parts, more things to do..Version: 1.1.0
✓ InfuriatingIt’s like the developer intended for all these parts to be made out of paper maché, why is it a thing that my wheels get damaged for doing what a wheel is supposed to do? Like how am I taking damage literally just driving and hitting the smallest bump known to man. You add air bags to the wheels and it somehow makes it worse. Spent a good couple of HOURS trying to get past 3 LEVELS, levels 1-8 are eh but after that it’s like the dev just said f it lets make it insanely hard. In order to pass the level, you need the icebreaker, which you can only get on this world. Previous levels did not provide it and there is no other way to get that tool. I would even buy it! That’s not an option either. Even the side quests (Delivery and Exploration) can’t help because they are not on the ice world. Developer response will be same as every other review saying they are trying to make a game good for everyone or something like that, so I don’t expect a reply that means anything. It’s so common to crash during ads that I feel it is completely intentional that it crashes to get you to watch more ads. ✓ Not as good as the 1st RoverCraft game.Too much grinding involved. The first RoverCraft is way more fun. After playing for one day you will be stuck on a mission waiting for RNG to unlock the upgrade you need to continue progress. I still play but only cargo delivery missions to unlock upgrades. Which is one mission every 5hrs. So far it’s been a month and still waiting to upgrade my batteries to be able to progress in the game. The first game is better. In this version there is no win scenario on each planet. You just run til you are out of battery power. And each planet feels the same. No sense of accomplishment upon completing a difficult planet like in the first. You can’t even pick the planet here you want to explore. The first week of playing I thought this was a bug. It’s not. The planets are on a timer. Should of kept the same formula as the 1st game. Just add new tools/physics/locations/graphics/etc and you would’ve had a killer game. From the ground up the concept is completely different to the old. Now I’m not opposed to the change, it is fun. but it feels like I’m always playing side missions. Very quick short games .Put that together with the old style with new planets. That’s a recipe for a good game. And infinite gives no real reason to play no end objective to the original. ✓ Great concept but poor game modelGameplay is far better than Rovercraft 1, however it’s frustrating that the only way to unlock parts is through random chests. The coins are used only to upgrade parts but only after collecting other items through random chests. So when I’m stuck on a hard level the game is at a standstill until I design the best ship I can with limited parts. I find myself aggravated with the game itself because the original Rovercraft wasn’t choked by needing these chests in the first place. I like to go back and see if I can do planets faster or try out new combos. Some of my favorite boards I like to just play for fun. This version lacks replay ability. You can’t redo missions for fun, only one delivery a day. I’m stuck on the very last mission and I can’t find a way to do it without an upgrade I can’t get. What made the original so cool was the variety of building objects and the need to build on a way to overcome the environment. This game just forces you stick to a format because of its lack of options. I’ve read the other comments and of you aren’t listening then you don’t care, make the levels replayable. I don’t even care if it doesn’t give me anything, let me play the old levels again. I’ll even watch an ad or pay for the ability. Give me more building options initially. I don’t care if they have no power but give me more than one wheel. I personally would ratchet a game where the terrain is more difficult and I have a ton of building options from the start. Whether it’s the giant ice spike on the last ice planet level or the insane distance to travel to the finish line from the last battery on the underground planet, you’ll eventually say “if I just had ____, I could keep playing.” It’s crazy I can get to a point where I just can’t do anything in the game. ✓ Loot boxes make some missions impossibleI love this game a lot. It is a very good upgrade to the first version of the game with one problem- loot boxes. Unlike the first game where you just purchased parts, this game makes you unlock these parts inside of loot boxes. Now these boxes aren’t super hard to find and it isn’t impossible to get good items, however there are some levels that require certain parts, such as the icebreaker for the ice levels and the sticky wheels for the cave levels. These sections make the game a lot worse because you can no longer progress until you grind out the boxes. Some levels are incredibly challenging and make you think outside the box in order to pass with the blocks you have. In saying all that, the devs clearly want you to spend $$ to play this game. ✓ Fun game, but not reallyI enjoy this game, I really do. But some things about it really grinds my gears. The whole parts system is VERY annoying. You hardly ever get parts for what you actually need from boxes (specifically battery parts), and there's no way to get specific ones, besides parts from events. For some players it completely halts progress. And since you can only do so much every day, it's VERY tedious. Oh yeah, and the crate prices. Nobody smart enough is gonna pay that much for just ONE BOX you can sometimes get through delivery missions. Maybe three or five for that price would be acceptable. Also, some of the levels. The difficulty is pretty inconsistent (it might just be me). Some levels you can do in 1-3 tries, others will challenge you, which is good. But one in particular though, Marena 8, is straight up impossible. I've tried hundreds of times, still not getting to the end. There are multiple parts of the level that require different setups to actually get past. Like near the end of the 2nd section, where it drops, and there's an upwards slope at the bottom. Almost every time I flip over, ending my run. I just really hate this level and it makes me want to quit. But I'm not though, because I want to enjoy the rest of the game. ✓ The game is broken and devs don’t care.Another pay to win game that is purposefully designed broken to get you to spend money to play or progress. The part system is abysmal. Multiple players have complained about it and the devs don’t want it fixed. The levels get to the point where you need certain parts to progress, but cannot possibly have with the amount of parts drops given through the campaign missions. Your only options? Play delivery mode once every 5 hours and hope and pray you get the part you need or spend countless amounts of money on gems for loot boxes that may or may not have the parts you need in hopes to progress. No option to spam ads for boxes or earn upgrades in other ways. And the devs don’t care. Go through the reviews. Player after player has complained about this since the time this game has been released. Would easily be fixed by an update and they refuse. Don’t waste your time. ✓ A lot of bugs and problemsMy parts will randomly breka without showing damage or will break at random spots. My wheels will randomly break driving across level parts of the level. The repair module can’t repair parts on the back of a build because of poor design. When you use the repair module it goes into a repair view. The pedals for forward and reverse are used to pull you out of repair view. The pedals will block modules on the back of you vehicle. If you have the booster module that adds a button on screen to push for the boost that button will also block modules from being repaired.Version: 1.3.6

✓ Great Game but limited by wait times and the parts systemRovercraft 2 has a much better physics engine than rovercraft 1 making it a blast to play and along with a offer variety of parts to play around with, makes have much more depth than the original. However, the new parts system and linear level system is the major underlying problem with the game. The game starts off fine, with the game giving you an ample amount of parts to upgrade your rovers batteries and wheels, but you start slowing down once you reach the second planet until you eventually hit a level where it simply impossible to finishes as you don’t have good enough batteries to hold energy or enough power in the wheel to climb a hill etc. If this was rovercraft 1, you would just need to go back to a level you can finish to grind more coins to upgrade your parts but in rovercraft 2 you can’t go back. So what’s the only way to upgrade your parts? Deliveries. Deliveries that you wait for in real time ranging from 3-7 hours until you get a new delivery. There needs to be an easier way to get part upgrades that aren’t just a waiting game. I understand the devs want the players to buy crates for real money but it’s going to be hard to reel in new players for buy these crates when new players cant even see the bulk of the content in the game. So unless this system changes, my rating stays at a 2. I would rate it 1 but the improved mechanics in this sequel warrant acknowledgement..Version: 0.2.0

✓ Slow progression - Frustration setting in.The game itself is amazing, I am Mature player and I’ve bought the starter pack as I enjoy the game so don’t mind paying £££. Unfortunately there no replay value unlike the first game, i’d happily grind for gold to buy the required parts. I’d also part with real £££ if the mechanics where A little better. What won’t do is gamble £££ on the small chance of getting the parts I need. I hope the developers address the issues as I suspect they are losing out on a lucrative revenue stream. I suggest making parts available to buy for gold that can be earned in the game with the option to pay for gold with real £££. ✓ Unplayable game unless you spend moneyI was enjoying this game so much until merely the 3rd world unable to pass it stuck on a level where i need an extra battery only to find out that i need to get it from a chest that i get from doing the missions that im no longer able to pass, there is 1 more way to get chests although you need to wait every 5 hours or so to complete that delivery and so now ive been stuck for 1 week on what was meant to be an easy introduction into the game because of bad luck with chests. I can understand the motivation to want this game to bring money, but to make the game unplayable unless you spend money is a big mistake. It would be nice if you could incorporate instead of only coins in your exploration missions but explore for something that players actually want like chests. not a handful of coins when i can watch an ad and get the amount of 3 playthroughs in 1 videos reward.. This games completely out of proportion, 20 gems can only purchase 150 coins, 20 gems can take around 2-3 days to get if not more, 150 coins can be obtained by watching 1 30-second ad. 150 gems for a greater chest which will give you the same amount of loot for 3 missions, when the 150 gems would take atleast 2 weeks to obtain without once again, spending all this money.Version: 1.0.1
✓ First Game is betterThis game is the definition of “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.” The missions are shorter, the rover are more fragile and the maximum altitude is lower. The games progress is simply delivering packages across a span of around 300m. While the fist game had planetary missions that could take 100 of try’s to perfect. Now the game is a rover-themed ad watching theatre. The first game is much less pay to win and a lot more free. I particularly liked falling of the map after climbing the wall behind where you spawn. I also dislike how you build a rover now as well, with the parts on the side in folders, instead of below on a slider..Version: 1.4.0

✓ Crashes constantly, unplayable now, stuck in tutorialVery fun. Definitely refreshing for the sequel. But the spacial effects between menus crashes the game for me constantly. This mist/fog animation covers the screen and sometimes it lags until it stops and crashes. Especially when you are going through the spoon-fed tutorial. Even when you are playing the levels, the foreground and background animations, on top of the twinkly filters over the screen cause the game to get really laggy the more moving things are on the screen. Maybe it’s a heavy physics calculation? I’d love to be able to turn the graphics down into a performance setting to get rid of the pointless twinkles and other effects. Also I’d like to be able to skip the tutorial. I think if those 2 things happen, I wouldn’t be able to crash this game 10 times in 10 minutes. For now I see it’s version 0.3 so there’s definitely room for improvement. I love the changing cargo shapes in different levels. Lots of new parts and things for me to explore. ✓ Please read I am a professional app raterI gave this game one star because it is not the best game I played. The game is ok, I would say, but it’s lacking a few things 1. I have done tons of delivery’s but haven’t gotten the parts I need 2. I don’t like that when I hit the ground a little hard the piece that is near my head breaks off and hits me 3. I recently played this game today and had the thing above this happen to me. Here’s the thing, I was “killed” by the lamp when it broke off (ha ha) And I was on the checkpoint. I decided to watch an ad to spawn on the checkpoint but when I did that closing the ad was glitchy so it kicked me out I lost my progress on the campaign I got to 1000 meters. ✓ Very hard to pass level 8’s unless you’re luckyThe game is fun until you reach certain levels, and it becomes impossible to pass without certain parts, which can only be gotten from boxes. The only way to get boxes is beat levels, or play “delivery” which is available like every 5 hours, so unless you’re very lucky and get the parts on your first try, it could take 2 weeks to beat certain levels unless you’re willing to pay. ✓ Natural progression stunted by rngLove the game and the concept. Physics, graphics and sound are all good. The core problem with the game is the progression of your parts. You can earn crates and such every few hours after completing a course. In the first few hours everything works quite well. However, once you reach the fourth planet you’re going to run into some problems. Now all the gear you’ve used becomes quite cumbersome and it’s on this planet that you have to drive through some caves. I’ve been stuck for a few weeks now because I cannot seem to get what I need to upgrade my batteries. I have an abundance of cards for most other parts but the two that I need to progress, wheels and batteries, seem to have a very low pull rate. The store offers some packages to help you progress, however, this also has no batteries. The only solution would be to buy gems and gamble on the loot boxes for what you need. Not acceptable. It’s really a shame that the game suffers from these issues because at the core it’s quite fun to play. I have few issues with IAP but this game ticks the wrong boxes. Loot boxes should focus more on the fun stuff (skins, toys and other non essentials) rather than stand in your way. Also, I really want to end this off on a positive so here it is; the game has no ads! Seriously, I love that feature. Good job on that, and please don’t take this review too harshly.
