✓ Upgrade neededThe game is good when you first start out, then I realised I hadn’t lost a single match, completed all grand slams without losing a game or set so it becomes very repetitive. Your player’s stance is sometimes wrong when being served to, causing you to hit the ball out. With the precision they expect you to have with your swiping, it is not fun. ✓ Almost good…The game mechanics are pretty solid. That part of the game is a success for sure. But there are issues. 1. No volleys?? What the heck? Very strange to have a major part of the sport just taken out altogether. 2. Uhh…wrong side dude. SO many times, I end up on the wrong side for what the score is. It’s 40-15 and somehow I’m serving from the ad court. It’s 40-30 and I’m on the deuce side. This is really pretty lame. 3. I figured out how to add more topspin (nowhere in any tutorial btw, which is silly), but there’s no way to add backspin. This is an integral part of the sport as well. Would be nice if this were added. 4. Does the difficulty level change at all? There should be a way to make the game more difficult for advanced players. 5. To echo another review, online match play would be very cool and would instantly make it more popular. I really wish there were a solid tennis game for mobile. ✓ Bad controlsThe game acts like there are super precise swipe controls but there really isn’t. If you swipe to the right the ball goes in no specific direction. There are times your player will completely miss a swing even though you swiped. After defending a drop shot your player just stands there like an idiot instead of moving back. I’ve went through the training hoping that some of the accuracy issues, player speed etc would change but it doesn’t. The training is “hit these tiny green boxes even though you don’t have any control where the ball goes”. The training turns into you swiping up in the same direction until the ball hits the green box. It’s just an all around bad game..Version: 1.0.60
