All the developer can say is to make sure the tv and remote are connected to the same WiFi. They are! Sound on the tv goes on and off. ✓ When It Works, It’s GreatThe app needs work. My modem is in my family room, where my TV is. My TV is a Samsung Smart TV. In other words, everything is set up for optimal performance. However, I find myself using it less and less, and have in fact cancelled my subscription (which is very reasonably priced by the way) which will now not renew at the end of Feb 2024. This is frustrating because I constantly have to go find the factory remote to click “Allow”, because the app won’t connect. Sometimes that works, other times it doesn’t. Clicking “ Allow” frequently results in still seeing the app message “Smart TV Not Found”. ✓ Does not allow for manual inputI tried to set this up but it just takes you to the main remote control screen and doesn’t allow you an option of a manual input when it doesn’t find the TV on the same network. At one point I did see something that said to set it up by your remote control. However that option went away and you could not get it back. ✓ Paid for Nothing More…So I did the trial, like this remote from several others I had tried. I subscribed for 6 months. I didn’t get use of the rest of the remote that day so waited a couple days still not able to use most of the buttons. I have emailed the company 6 different times over the last 2 months. Showing proof of my subscription and proof the remote is not fully functional. Each time I get an automatic form email sent back stating that my issue will be addressed shortly in the meantime send pictures and describe my issues. So if you only want to power on and off, volume and arrow keys it’s Great!!
