✓ Broken adsThe game itself is pretty fun. It has a CoC type trophy system, so you will have to intentionally lose 5 times for every pvp victory. I have about 700k power, most of the people at my very low trophy level have 5mil+, so the matchmaking is atrocious. That’s not the real issue though. The game uses ads to gatekeep certain basic functions. Like I can’t continue in the shopping mall without watching an ad. The trick is, ads are never available. It’s pretty frustrating, especially when you are paying for things like premium. I stopped putting money into the game and went f2p because the ad situation is basically fraud. Wrote to the devs and they ignore me, so it’s a feature not a flaw of their game, unfortunately. It’s too bad, I used to be a paying customer. Update: ad situation is getting worse. I don’t get my dailies because I can really only watch one ad a day and that’s not enough. It’s almost funny, I’ve never had a game work so hard to avoid getting my money. ✓ Cash grabIt’s a cute looking game that copies fallout shelter but it’s such flagrant pay to win game it doesn't even try to hide it. Every action is designed to get you to spend more money. I worry that kids will be influenced by unscrupulous game developers who don’t care about the content in this case American dad and only care about money! This game has no soul it should be called ‘just shut up and give us your money’. Why it has so many good reviews is baffling to me I suspect a lot are fake. ✓ FrustratingThis is a great game, until you unlock the uranium. It seems since I’ve had this, I can’t get past a certain amount of anything without having 4/5 attackers a day taking almost 250,000 of everything. ✓ Cash Grab, Pay to WinGame was fun, now more and more of a cash grab by greedy developers. Here’s an idea, if you lowered the price of an event more people would likely pay. But when an average event come with a price of $20, forget it. And they say you can play and level up without paying, but that comes with clones taking 8 times as long to get their health back, and only paying for premium will any of your resources be slightly protected. So unless your loaded or have mommy and daddies credit card to play with, forget this one and move on. ✓ Great to a pointReally enjoyable and addictive. Up until you get to the boss on the Summoners Stage. My squad is 15k stronger and I’ve completed all the challenges so can’t upgrade weapons and armour any further. I fear that purchasing crates is now the only way forward which is wrong. ✓ Great game, slow pace, change dailiesI really enjoy playing this game. It does feel like it takes a really really long time to advance though. It’d be nice if the times to upgrade were a little bit faster at least. The one thing that I absolutely hate..is that the daily chest used to not require you to gift to friends but now it does. I don’t want to link my Facebook account, why can’t I just gift to people in the clan I’m in. ✓ Money hungryYou literally cannot progress beyond a certain point without paying for item because there will be players that have like 4million fighting people with barely any power and taking the little things they have. Yet everyone you have available to fight is always too high. The thing is I actually purchased a premium on one of the events thinking this would mean I could fight anyone. I have 15k and 13k gunslingers being defeated by 9k gunslingers and my 9k melee being defeated by 5/6k melees. Frankly they just want you to purchase more items so you think you’ll get a stronger team but there will always be people with higher power attacking you and the people you should be able to attack you probably won’t be able to defeat. I also bought 2 5 star Rogers who somehow made a 2 STAR clone?????? And the whole waiting entire weeks just for one thing to be built?? And if you update something you need like the kitchen you get no food for literal weeks. Fun at first but give up while you’re ahead because it’s all a scam..Version: 1.21.0

The game very reliable crashes out when navigating between parts of the game and take 4 to 6 attempts to restart. I spend about $25 month which is a fair bit for a mobile video game but I enjoy it and want to be good at it and that seems to be the only way to be good at it. ✓ Love the game ,but….I loved this game and played it for a good year, but I needed more storage on my phone so I deleted it probably two or three months ago. My apple ID was linked to the account since facebook for some reason is unable to connect to the app. When I logged back into my account it asked me to transfer the data over I hit yet and it did nothing. I lost all my progress that I had made and am now back to level 1. I attempted to make a ticket about the issue but it could not be resolved. They asked for an insane amount of things that I do not remember and do not have on my phone. I do not just randomly remember exactly what level my situation room was, or what level I was. I didn’t take any screenshots of the game, as I never thought I would have to and now I will never be able to get back to where I was beforehand..Version: 1.30.0

Don’t buy any of their premium contentHonestly the game is fun but beware purchasing anything, they charged me twice for a 15 day pass, when asking to be refunded they claimed they couldn’t and offered a minor 100 golden turds, something that could easy be earned watching ads in the game. I suggested simply giving me the second 15 day pass I was charged for and was basically brushed off and told they couldn’t offer me that. My suggestion enjoy the free play but don’t trust buying anything, cause if any issues arise they made it clear they don’t care. ✓ The game is riggedStarted playing the game a week ago and played the new roger event. First Roger piece took me about 5 tries out of a possible 30. 2nd piece took me 1 try. But the next FOUR pieces took ALL 30 tries to get the roger piece. 4 in a row it was in the last vase. Yeah that’s a 1 in 160,000 chance of it happening. I was prepared to drop some money on this but not anymore. Gonna dig for the 7th piece to see if this trend continues. ✓ Rip off of Hustle CastleI’m giving it three stars because I love America Dad, but hilariously enough, it is an identical clone of the game Hustle Castle (which was a freemium rip off of Fallout Shelter). They haven’t even added any items to defend against it to make you pay to remain competitive. Even the items they added in the recent event that were available to free players will now cost new players about $80 per item when black market returns. Artefacts the new devs added do things that aren’t in the artefact blurb (like reduce enemy’s whole team to 10% health) but it will cost you $100 to get those ones. The game is unbalanced and regularly has bugs to which support’s response is that it’s running as it’s supposed to (too many game killing calculation errors in labyrinth can’t be right). They haven’t added much new to the game to keep it fresh. They tried adding a new ID but that seems to only be available to players that buy essence chests despite saying you can get those pieces in familyland chests (which you can’t). Here’s a by the numbers breakdown as to why you’re probably not getting unique items. This is assuming you pay for a premium account + event pass. Reasonable daily grind breakdown: Daily invasion (1x): 25 rewards Shopping mall (4x): 160 rewards War (3 wins): 60 rewards Labyrinth (2x - 100%): 40 rewards Mimosa (10x - no loses): 150 rewards Event daily quests (free): 90 rewards Event daily quest (paid): 30 rewards Weekly even quest (free/7days): 50 rewards Weekly even quest (paid/7days): 65 rewards Total rewards: 670 per day / 14,070 per event Meaning you still need at least 15,930 rewards to get all of the unique items. Price is 3,725 turds for 15 levels Premium account: $5 Event pass: $25 Gold turds ( 14,500 ): $100 Gold turds ( 2,500 ): $20 Meaning you will pay AT LEAST $150 and play AT LEAST 4 hours a day for 21 days to get all of the unique items. Every other event is usually $20-$25 a month and you can grind it out which is fun! ✓ Chill with the pies ffsThe game play is decently fun, and the graphics are awesome. There are issues though. Ads don’t always give the benefit they claim to. The pie making and money printing mechanics are extremely unbalanced. My food storage is always full, while my money is always lacking. I even updated the mint rooms and equipped my Rogers working the mints with outfits to boost money profit. It’s still barely keeping up with the pies. With how little money you actually make in the mint, it’s impossible to upgrade your Rogers to get through battles fast enough to use up the pies. And they just keep giving more pies. I have about 6 boxes I can’t even open because my food storage is full. And I can’t battle to use up some pies because i lost the last fight and need to upgrade which I can’t do because I have no money and can’t open boxes. ✓ Developers issuesMany bugs throughout the time I’ve played the game. The developers never reimbursed or fix the mistakes they cause. All the chats with support can be deleted so they change their responses multiple times throughout your complaint - take your own screenshots! Lost over 3 million pies. They said they were available for 90 days since activation. After an update they all disappeared and they admitted they had the wrong timer on my account - apparently the pies were only available for 30 days. They offered no apologies or reimbursement. Don’t log in to anyone else’s phone. They don’t have a log out button even if you delink you’re Apple ID or FB. Extremely frustrating to complain with no solutions. Many more issues! ✓ Really good.Ok this is a great game first of all. A lot of complex mechanics and work has gone in to this. Please fix the bug where you don’t get the cool down in training room after watching ads. I have use the ad cool down system in the training room and it only seems to work %50 of the time. Really really annoying as the fighter room is very important. ✓ Hidden email clientWhilst on the face of it, this game seems like a clone of ‘fallout shelter’, albeit, with a few twists and fun additions, what really put me off was the inclusion of a hidden app ‘Email Client App - MyMail’ which was only discovered through ‘Screentime’ when trying to set restrictions on another app. Some research online soon highlighted that it was this game that installed the ‘hidden app’.. so whilst I was enjoying the game, not happy to see why another email client is required. ✓ Honestly fix it now. It’s getting offensive.I’ve reviewed this before with the hopes that they would do something about the PvP leveling, and they made it worse. They made it game breaking. If you want five beatable opponents you’ll have to refresh every available option twice a day. Then you’ll go to attack someone who is a lower level than you, and has a lower score by 2+ million points, and somehow you lose and then lose all the trophies you worked all day to earn. The winning trophy ratio to losing trophy ratio is 1:5, which is downright offensive. And to add insult to injury, about 95% of those losses are to someone using a $20 artifact from the black market or an event deal, making it literally pay to win. ✓ Fun, but very stingy and poor customer service.The premise is clever and the gameplay enjoyable on a casual level, plus it won’t take up too much time (the heavy wait times for upgrades will see to that), but I’m incredibly disappointed at the level of customer service I’ve received. Not often, but occasionally, watching an ad for rewards, or playing the TV mini-game, will freeze or crash the game, even in the latest devices. Don’t bother asking tech support for compensation of the rewards lost from the frozen ad, they simply will not give them to you. “We regret to inform you that we don’t provide compensation under such circumstances. ✓ Support is non existentThe support team/department has stopped answering people’s emails ever since the new owners took over. They also took away the live chat feature that allowed us to see our ticket and have a conversation with them. Now we get redirected to a email feature so that they can pretend to have not received our emails. I emailed them more than 2 months ago and have heard nothing at all. We get sent an automatic email and they don’t get back to us. I’ve sent four emails in total and contracted them via the Facebook page. I’ve contacted them via the app and outlook. This is unacceptable. The previous support team got back to us within days. I never spend money on these “gambling for kids” games and this is exactly why. The odds aren’t posted anywhere so, I assumed that it was a tiered kind of thing like all the other events. ✓ Was a good game at firstI really enjoyed this game in the beginning. I played through the whole story looking forward to what was beyond. I was highly disappointed when I made it to the dungeon area. I do not belong to a clan, nor wish to join one. I try to play with random players. The wait times to be paired to another player takes a few minutes. Most of the time I just give up. When I do have someone join me they sometimes just log off and I can’t continue to play the dungeon areas. I hate the black market sales. I saw an item I really wanted to purchase. It costed 3,000 golden turds. I only had 1,500. I watched a lot of ads, and played the bazooka shark stadium to collect as much golden turds as I could get. I couldn’t get enough golden turds to purchase the item and the sale ended. I figured the sale would come back in a month or so. I continued to collect golden turds. I finally collected 3,000 golden turds and sure enough the black market sale returned. Only this time the item now costed 3,900 golden turds. It seems like this game is setup so you have to buy golden turds if you want to buy a good legendary item. I’ve tried making legendary items in my weapons lab, and they usually give me something very mediocre. Nothing like the legendary items offered in the special events. I once played the special events to a point where I was in the 100 levels, and still never got a special legendary weapon. I hardly play this game anymore. ✓ The game is fun but eventually it’s P2wSo I really like the game because I love American dad and I think these types of game styles are fun. However once you get more into the game you’ll start to battle players that have 60k-80k power and you’ll have like 43k power which obviously makes it unfair. You’d basically have to have a ton of legendary items to be that high and also have combat power and so on. So that part I don’t really like that eventually it’s like a pay 2 win game. You can get item chests sometimes from event stuff or after watching like 5 ads one every 6hrs but that would take a ton of time since you might even get a good item. It might be food or something else. There’s also one free chest every day but it’s not always a good reward. The building upgrades eventually get really bad to where you’ll have to figure something out and buy it with gold or save it and not get attacked by random people who will take your money and resources away. ✓ Games taken a serious downturnI’m changing my review after 2yrs of playing this game. Ever since they “sold” the game when Russian owned stuff had to be moved, its taken a downturn. I could write a comprehensive list on everything’s that’s gone wrong since this change. • Events, used to be able to grind events, and know if you put in the work that you’d get something for your effort. Now, it’s all about buying the event, which are more expensive than previously. Also they run the same event over and over ie. the hologram event which has run 4 times in a row getting successively harder, also why buy the event multiple times? Sure that’s great for their pockets but not the average players. • Lack of support or implementation of things the gamers THEMSELVES want/need. Ya’ll had ppl ask us for possible improvements but NOTHING was changed. • Loss of player base: so many mid size clans have lost good players, active ones who bought events and grinded for the clan. These losses have made most of the “best” players, the ones who BUY the event quit their clans to join one of the bigger, dominant, clans who have filled their rosters with players who spend $$$$$. This makes the game un-fun, I mean who wants to loose at 99% of every Family War?? Lastly, in all likelihood, I won’t be playing much longer, I truly only play anymore because of my awesome clanfamfriends. They are the reason why I’ve stayed as long as I have but as our clan membership diminishes I’m forced to the realization that this games dying. ✓ There’s better...This game (if we can call it that) is okay for casual gaming but it is from being entertain or fun like all the other reviewers would have you believe. Cleared missions cannot be replayed or farmed, you have to wait until they are invaded and the rewards aren’t worth the time spent. You spend more time watching ads than playing. Watching ads will reward you gold turds that you need but never have enough of. The resources needed to upgrade the various rooms gets quickly ridiculous and the time required to complete upgrades is crazy....days, not hours, days! The micro transactions are overpriced for what you get and not worth it. I spent some money in the game when it came out to support the devs, had I known then what I know now I wouldn’t have bothered. This game is just greedy for your money without giving much in return, earns added revenue with ads while pushing the limits of people’s patience in order to get people to spend money (wait 15 days to upgrade Roger’s Place to lv9 or pay 6405 gold turds for instant upgrade...seriously?!?) Overall very disappointing. You’re better off playing Fallout Shelter, better and more fun..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Not a bad time wasterDecent time waster, but lots of glitches. Current update has things you ‘disassemble’ just cease to exist instead of becoming ‘shards’ which makes some of the mid level game stuff in playable..Version: 1.22.2
