✓ Fun game when it worksI recently downloaded the game and find it to be educational and actually fun! The reason I gave it 2 stars is because I have only been able to play a handful of times. ✓ Greedy greedy MAGFor several years I played PixDuel from FEO Media who then became MAG Interactive. QuizClash started after a while which was an improvement on PixDuel but rather than simply improve a game they ditched it with no notice to those of us who had built up half decent scores & supported them over the years by paying for the app. I moved on & played QuizClash, again paying for the app. QuizClash becomes QuizDuel which runs perfectly then out of the blue they force you to upgrade to New QuizDuel. The old version ceases to work & they bombard you with pathetic advertisements & restrict you to only 16 games at a time unless you pay another £5.99 a month . A total con.... I would pay £5.99 a year but they are effectively asking over £70.00 a year. It not a question of being able to afford it but it’s a case of value for money & I’m afraid MAG have got this hugely wrong. Arena is fake .... they lead you to believe that you are playing against other players but they are simply using these players ID s to stage a game. As for the text feature ..... it is a nightmare on the new version. Don’t take us for idiots, treat us with the respect our loyalty deserves & re-think your charges or most of us will get so fed up with the adverts we will stop playing !!.Version: 1.10.2
✓ New game has improved but not quiteThe game is quite fun and educational! Really! I learn something every time I play. The newest version is faster with fun sounds and new graphics, which honestly is a great improvement! Unfortunately there seems to be a glitch somewhere that won’t allow me to access the game without going through the App Store. Also the advertisements for the free game have gotten quite long and tedious. Hopefully they remedy this soon or I will be forced to take a break from the “ALL NEW QUIZDUEL”.Version: 1.9.2

✓ Ads are shocking.Adverts are so long its crazy, by far the worst game i have played for ads, after every single round you have 45 seconds of adverts that you fight to get off the screen (multiple pop ups). Some of the profiles are quite clearly made up by the developers due to the dwindling number of real people that actually play it . It is a shame because the game is good, and i noticed the response keeps being “we need the ads so we can keep the game free” Thats fine, offer a charge for the game thats ad free ..Version: 1.21.8

✓ Great for trivia lovers but now full of annoying bugsLove this app and haven’t found any other trivia game that’s as good/fun. But with each update more goes wrong and support …well, they haven’t been helpful. * If you need to block players you can but all of a sudden, within a short time and for no discernible reason, they’re unblocked. I’ve been reporting this since early September …it just keeps getting worse. And this is a basic feature of the app. * The app does not update things like your score, players randomly assigned, etc. you have to close and restart the app to update. * With subscriptions you’re promised three free arena plays per day. The latest version has broken this and now, free plays are given but disappear before you can use them. * Generally, the questions are pretty good/challenging but they’re stale …same questions come up again and again with very few new ones. I’m happy to pay for an ad-free version of this app in order to support Mag but if I pay it seems only fair that they ensure that basic features work and that when something is brought to their attention, via support, they fix it. That’s not happening right now. Hoping this will all be addressed/fixed so I can change to the five stars they merited up until NEW QD was forced on us. ✓ Quite sad - Greedy developersI like others paid for the original Quizclash app to avoid adverts. By paying for it I thought that I had contributed to the developer and at no time did I begrudge the cost of a few pounds. Then completely uncontrollably I’m forced into the new app QuizDuel (which is absolutely identical) with a host of adverts to deal with. This time though MAG interactive want me to pay £5.99 each month for the removal of the adverts. I don’t agree with the developers argument of running costs. ✓ Have to get a new email to play thisI have played another game from Mag Interactive, so when I attempted to register for this one, it alerted me that email was already in use. I have been communicating back and forth with the company's support for 8 days, trying to get a solution. It has come down to the advice that I have to use a different email for this game.
