✓ Crashes at level 4 on XRI have this game on my IPad and I have gotten quite far. I downloaded it on my phone and started back at level 1 and once I got to level 4 it won’t let me go on. No way to exit the guided tutorial and won’t detonate the bomb it was trying to get me to use. Tried on several days, tried closing the app. Nothing works. ✓ Not fairThis game is not much fun and very frustrating at times. There is a wheel you can spin every 14 hours or so for extra bonuses, but when it lands on a big payoff like 10K, it doesn’t pay out. The last island does not work at all. ✓ Pay to play strikes againRight, dear Mobile Access Group, since you're begging for reviews, here is mine. Ruzzle Adventure is a game that is initially compelling and fun if you like word games. But it doesn't take long until the pay to play mechanism hits. Tried a level too many times? Oops, you're out of lives and have to wait - or you can spend money to buy more lives. In all honesty, screw everything about this kind of game. I'd happily pay a few bucks for this game upfront because I really love word games. But the way it is, you won't see a penny from me, and I will discourage my friends from trying this game..Version: 1.2.4

✓ Good at firstI really liked this game at first. But later on the game becomes ridiculously difficult taking away the fun. For example, 2000points in 1 minute. Is that even possible? When I link letters on the diagonal, the app often goes to the wrong letter. So I waste time having to draw back. And in such a time limit, it's practically impossible at least for most mortals. ✓ Could be betterIn principle it is a sound game but in practice it is very frustrating. Firstly, it is clearly set up for American English so the game won't cater for an international audience. Secondly it is missing so many words from its dictionary that I am constantly losing lives despite double checking that words I am inputting actually exist. Finally, the game starts off fairly easily but then suddenly gets hard without a gradual increase in skill requirement. ✓ Special items goneThe layout of the game is such that I have “accidentally” (accident for me, intentional by developers, I’m guessing) deployed all the bombs I’ve purchased. That special item button is placed where your thumb would naturally rest on the screen. So I accidentally brush against it all the time wasting my purchases. This would not happen if LIKE FOR EVERY OTHER GAME ON THE MARKET you had to confirm that you want to deploy the special item. As it is, any accidental tap and it’s gone. ✓ Fun but FrustratingAs someone who has successfully completed "The Forest," "The Swamp," "The Volcano," and "Christmas" (and am currently at #153 in "Area 42"), I speak from experience and as someone who really enjoys the game when I say that this game eventually becomes too expensive. I am the type of person who always pays for the "pro" version of games to get rid of the ads. Therefore, I would gladly have paid an upfront fee for Ruzzle Adventure, even if it were on the pricier side of the average App Store game. However, I am quite disappointed that App Store allows Ruzzle Adventure to charge such excessive rates in order to buy coins (which become necessary at higher levels since the coins one can earn in the game are minimal). Yes, I understand that developers need to make money, but Ruzzle Adverure's tactics seem like extortion compared with the costs of numerous other games I've purchased from the App Store. After my current bag of coins is gone, I'm deleting the app simply because I can no longer afford to continue at these rates. Yes, I understand that is is quite difficult to program every word into the game but for a game that's orientated around words it should have mostly all of them. Let's take 'nord' for example. ✓ BrokenSo, the first twenty or thirty levels are easy/possible, but then chaos erupts. The final island doesn't work at all. Some levels are incredibly easy, except that you're not awarded 3 stars for finishing well under the allotted number of moves, even if only long, high-pointage words are used. Sometimes you're given 3 stars when you only finish the level by the skin of your teeth. Many other times, the levels are impossible without using helps (bombs, rearranging the board, swapping letters). The trouble is, the company charges for extra helps, unless you win some with a daily wheel spin. I have never spent money on helps, so I've gone weeks without being able to advance to the next level. The app also badly needs an undo button for accidental touches. And why do you only get a limited number of lives? I like that there's usually no time limit and that there are more tiles than regular Ruzzle, but sometimes the letters are so random that there is no possible way to solve the board within the moves limit without using extensive cheats/helps. ✓ Tutorial is broken so the game is unplayableCan’t get passed level 4. In tutorial mode it tells you to select the bomb but it doesn’t work. The bomb is not selectable. I couldn’t find any way to get passed this glitch. Also couldn’t find any way to skip/ turn off tutorial mode..Version: 1.8.2
