Pay to play at its finestAvoid unless your happy to jump on the pay to win treadmill, new cards released weekly all trapped behind real world currency and drop rates are not favourable.Version: 2.7.5

Felt trickedKinda a downer when you need to leave a casual game round one. More of a downer when you come back an hour later to find the game still running and your opponent still there..Version: 2.7.12

Enjoyable, but very limited gameplay leaves much to be desiredCUE is informative, colorful, and the cards are great fun to collect. But. When it comes to actual gameplay, it lacks the depth and fluidity an experienced card game player would expect, and leaves me disappointed. The ranked gameplay system is entirely broken. The game matches you randomly with players of all kinds of skill sets. Whoever is available, that is who you play against, and if the wait is too long you just get matched against a bot. The result is matched games where you either absolutely stomp a boring bot who plays with no strategy, or get steamrolled by a much better deck and have no chance of even competing. The experience is extremely frustrating. Additionally the best players are the ones who pay. It’s inevitable for this kind of game. The pay wall is quite high, and a casual player has no chance against someone whose deck is stacked with fusions and ultra rare cards. The strategy mechanics are shallow compared to other titles. You’re pretty much limited to: combos, power boost, power drain, energy boost, and energy drain. The card’s interactions with each other is extremely limited. Pushing a power bar back and forth gets old very quickly. Over time the game begins to feel repetitive and kind of dull. My opinion: the concept is superb, but the game needs a total overhaul before it can start approaching mass appeal. 3/5.Version: 2.0.10

Basic p2w deck builderFundamentals are there but it’s simply a 100 percent p2w game. You will not remotely get close to top tier without around 39 key cards. Fact. 60 percent of cards in game are of no use whatsoever and lots of cards are simply copies of cards with different names and photos so the whole we have all these cards means zero. Basically zero skill required , hardly any variation in card effects , powers etc just all very basic. Barely anything to do just buy till you get the key cards then get to dragon tier every week that’s it. Literally nothing else. Personally would say avoid as it’s simply a poor deck builder. And this is coming from a mtg and HS pro of 15 years..Version: 2.6.14

So much potential, so poorly balancedThe idea is great, and the game is nicely packaged. And I enjoyed the first 2-3 weeks of playing it. But, you come to realise, like so many games these days, that to progress far you will need to spend lots of money to get lots and lots of cards, to trade up to get the really powerful cards. And also you realise that without these powerful cards (which are incredibly rare), you struggle to win consistently. Trading is also very painful and bottlenecked at 5 trades a day. So turn overall effect is that the game becomes less and less fun over time. Added to this is the madness of the developers in creating a few cards that are massively overpowering and game destroying. Despite protests from many players, the devs are utterly deaf in listening to feedback afaict. So these shockingly disruptive cards remain and if you don't have them, there is little point in playing. Finally, about 90% or more of the cards are useless. so, I give it 2/5.Version: 2.6.6

UNDERRATED100% extremely underrated very fun to play.Version: 2.9.23

Really good game until you hit the loopA really good, balanced card game. This game has a lot of cards to collect with different abilities and is well balanced. Definitely worth downloading if you are a fan of any card battle/collection games. Trading is a bit slow but can get cards you need with enough effort. I havent spent any money and have multiple rare cards by just playing to earn coins and gems which buy you packs. The store has all kinds of different types of packs that change daily to weekly. Also gives you free packs here and there with a chance at really good cards. All in all, a fantastic game that I recommend to anyone thats a fan of the genre. Update after 1 year: Terrible endgame, poor trading system, poor matchmaking and you end up playing the same 3 decks against the same 3 decks over and over until you cant keep your eyes open. All in all, worth it at first but then a huge disappointment plus they are moving to p2w as each day goes by..Version: 2.10.6

Horribly balancedGame is good just horribly balanced and in game purchases are a actual joke 😐.Version: 2.8.11

SighI used to love the game until the nee trade meter ruined it for me. I cant help players struggling as Ive spent hundreds and hundreds on this game for gems to be able to get multiples of cards. Trade meter also doesnt take in to account the playability of cards, only based on number in circulation… Good thing is, im saving a lot of money now..Version: 2.9.23

Was Really enjoying thisWas really enjoying this game and could of played for hours however after Hour 1, I spun free wheel, landed on Legendary + and at that very moment the game decided to stop working, originally came up with an unrecognised error message followed by refusal to reload at all telling me there was no internet connection….however there is internet connection as I’m currently writing this review..on the internet. Will reconsider my star rating IF the game starts working again.Version: 2.9.12

Toxic mess, and that is just modsDon’t trade until you know the value of cards, but to do that you are pushed to interact with the socials. If you do this know that the most experienced do not have your best interest at heart, they will take your best cards and give you trash, or take high value for a single mediocre card of theirs. Your other option is to pay 2 compete (because let’s be honest, you won’t win). Pay pay pay. You have been warned..Version: 2.9.20

In reality I would give this game a 3 starThe did something with pride mouth with a free pride pack and I hate that Also nerf water decks there so strong for how little they cost 5 for 70 damage!!!.Version: 2.9.18

Can’t Get Back InThis is honestly a great game for the most part. I tried to unlock trading on my new account, I had an old one. When I made my new one, it accidentally put the email with a .con instead of .com, and I wanted to trade. So I verified, and it sent it to not my email. So I tried changing the email it was linked to. It said Sorry Error has occurred or Email in use on another account. So I go to my old account, delete the old account and go back to my new one. I changed the email and it worked. I went to trading and it took a while to load, so I checked my mail. It had the link to verify, I used it and it said the link was old and I should ask for a new one. When I went back to trading and asked for a new one, I never got one. So I logged out the game and tried to log back in, and it said my email was not in use on any account. So now I’m locked out of both my accounts. At this point, I’ve given up..Version: 2.9.29

Bust out your walletIt’s a card game. So collecting all available cards is part of the game. Well they offer new cards daily, most of the time the packs have a couple of really desirable cards but are limited cards and only available for a short time, sometimes only one day. How do you collect all the cards? You have to have diamonds or coins to buy themed packages of random cards. While there are daily earnings, you will not have enough to chase down a pack containing new cards without having bought some diamonds for cash. The trade system is a nice and easy way to trade cards with other players. Be careful trading, there is always the chance that you are coming out on the short end of a trade. Now the actual gameplay is easy to learn, easy to play, but it takes some time and effort to build a strong deck, and some of that goes back to card collection. Anyway, fun game, but as it is a collection game, you will most likely break down and buy some gems with real money..Version: 1.8.9

Fun but bot filledA bit of fun with an interesting concept. BUT you are almost never going to verse a real human, from the first 6 games I played 3 were vsing ‘rip-rip-fizz’ and these games were days apart at completely different times. So I ask myself is a ‘strategy’ game that’s meant to be played against other people worth playing against a bad ai and yes the ai is trash. My answer is no, pass on this game friends..Version: 1.8.3

Fun…but get rid of the 8 Immortal cards. They game is a lot of fun but that set of cards are still way too powerful. You guys have claimed that you got rid of them in the bot decks, and watered down the cards but they are still showing up in league… It doesn’t help when you run near identical league set within a span of 3 weeks pretty much built for the 8 immortals…you stand no chance. It’s not fun with that card set :/.Version: 2.9.14

Pay to winPay to win aspect throws off the fairness of gameplay entirely. There is no separation in players who spend money, and people who prefer not to. It may not be much to others, but even just $10-$30 can make the difference someone being ‘better’ or ‘worse’ than someone because of the cards you bought with real money; not earned by winning skillfully or collecting daily rewards (which, good thing there are plenty of). It especially effects gameplay if (for example) someone blows nearly half of their paycheck on it. I know y’all don’t care cause you make money off of it, but if you care about a game I actually really like playing, I (hopefully logically) request a change in matchmaking..Version: 2.9.16

Just another cash cow gameAt first glance and when amassing cards from free coins, it seems like a great game, but with the constant influx on newly released cards, you will get to a point when unless you spend money, you will be left wanting. Trading is painful and only possibly after the first few daily ones that are free by watching ads, this gets really frustrating when trades are repeatedly rejected despite being in the other players favour. Overall, avoid and save yourself the money you will undoubtedly end up spending..Version: 2.9.7

Good but only if you have moneyIt’s pay 2 win so only play this game if you have money to spend otherwise you’ll lose 9 times out of 10 and it’s not worth your time. Could do with making it easier to get packs without having to pay to even the playing field and retain customers..Version: 2.7.5

Customer service will ignore youSaid they would answer in 3 business days. No response. Asked discord in the help and support channel. No response..Version: 2.0.2

Glitches or cheatingI made a review before and my previous points still stand. However the more I’ve played this game the more I’ve run into other players that play the game in a way that looks like cheating. I’d prefer that it’s a glitch instead meaning that there’s no foul play but either way I hope it gets sorted out soon because it takes away from the enjoyment of playing the game.Version: 1.3.13

BalanceGames fun, but some decks you just spam like birds and there’s no beating them no matter what. Please change the energy and boosts on these types of decks..Version: 2.9.18

Trading card game that blocks tradingIt is a cute idea and was fun. The recent update blocks meaningful trades. That is the dumbest idea the developer could come up with for a trading card game. The trade meter was fine as a suggestion to help people who are not sure. They have a meter babying and holding their hand and forcing them to click agree if it deems it one sided. But, people often intentionally make one sided trades otherwise why trade. It is not possible to write an algorithm that knows what trades people want to do. I give a lot more for a cards I want right now and so do others. I could spend hours trying to find trades that boost my position through wheeling and dealing and that is part of the fun with trading card games. I would trade when I did not want a particular card to try to get better cards for the cards people want so that I could have value when I wanted a card. I would never do an even trade just because someone wants a card I have and I have duplicates. Fusions for limited is a common trade I used to make that many people with duplicates are fine with for instantly getting card. Many people won’t but who cares you move on to someone who will until two people mutual agree on deal despite the meter. Disproportionate trades are literally the reason trading is relevant in a trading card game. I think it is a cash grab to block the ability for free users to get better cards to try to sell more packs..Version: 2.9.23

Fun but Flying Cloud is BROKENThe games super fun but don’t even bother touching ranked (Leagues) unless you have the flying cloud card. It is pretty cheap for what it does. I’ve had that card alone do over 300 damage (power?) to me in one turn. It costs FIVE. Then you combine it with other cards on top of that? A card like that shouldn’t exist in the game. 100 power PERMANENTLY added to the card just for being returned to your deck? Tuh, bffr. :| Some options for nerfs that I would recommend for the card: 1. Just lower the power gained to like 50 or so. 2. Keep power gained at 100 but make it cost more and/or make it only activate if you win the turn. 3. Lower power gained to 25 but make it 0 cost or 1 cost. I don’t know. Something like that? Maybe the last one is too weak but the card right now is just insanely broken. I don’t want the card and I don’t have it so everyone I fight who has it just automatically wins. What’s the point in playing if I am just guaranteed to lose against that card? To put it into perspective some more. I fought a guy 3 times in League matches. (Not in a row, I just recognized his name and it was over the span of 2 days.) The first two matches, he didn’t have the card, I won but it was a close game both times and felt really fair. Then out of nowhere I fight him a third time and he just kept spamming Flying Cloud every time it appeared in his hand. He did 500+ to me in one turn when I had a lead. Please tell me that’s fair. Like seriously..Version: 2.9.0

Games alright, community is...Games fine, but gets old pretty quick. Discord community is greedy and (most) discord moderators like to try to play god as they have an overinflated view of self importance and I can only imagine are terribly bored or unhappy with their actual lives. From zealous, straight, white SJWs (as a coloured queer I can assure you we do not need you to take offence in an over the top manner for us, thanks) to pompous bullies that are trying to take their bad high school experience out on others, CUE moderators have it all - Avid, if you’re wondering why your game is dying, and we both know it is, I’d start by cleaning up this pile of trash..Version: 2.0.4

This is horribly luck basedWhen its either down to what cards you get out of packs or what you pull in a game its all luck based which i personally dont like. You could have a greatly put together deck (if you dont get terrible cards which is more than likely) and still get beaten because of what cards you get from your deck at certain points in the game. Overall no matter how much effort you put in the game to have fun you still have a high chance of getting beat for no other reason than luck..Version: 2.7.6

Great CCG!I’ve been playing tabletop CCGs (MTG and Pokemon CCG) for more than a decade and have never played digital card games. This game is the best digital CCG game I have played. Please add a feature to change the username “for free” once and then have some sort of cool down time or fee to change username after the initial one..Version: 1.8.16

Only a couple small downsides.CUE is amazing, fun, and educational. I love it. I love collecting the cards. Only downsides is the inability to private chat in game rather than leaving the game and going to discord or fb. And the trade system way overvalued cards making it impossible for decent and fair trades to be done for some of the rarer cards like demon or pika. Otherwise fantastic. If we could get in game private bartering chat, that’d just make it unbelievably great..Version: 2.6.14

Cue equals cash grabFun game but total money grab, they release several new cards everyday and if you don’t get them you can’t stay competitive.Version: 2.10.9

It’s alrightSimple to learn and play but too wild and zany to actually get into. There IS strategy to master for both ranked and casual play but it depends entirely on your deck. I like that there are different environments for however many rounds you go through, which gives your deck the opportunity to get the most points or do the complete opposite. Having an 18 card deck feels neutral, it’s good because you don’t have to memorize all your cards and it’s bad because you are limited by 18 cards and have to figure out which color either suits your playstyle or offers the most benefits through points or effects. It’s a fun game when you start out and play a few rounds but after that, it feels lackluster. For anyone reading this and interested, give it a try because it’s free and make your own opinion on this game..Version: 2.10.5

Didn’t like itI had barely even finished the tutorial to realise that this game looks like it’s for 5 year olds, I do not recommend this game if your above the age of 5..Version: 2.10.7

False deactivationGame was fun while it lasted. I received an automatic deactivation for making too many trades with my brother (even though they were all fair trades). After emailing them they reactivated my brothers account and not mine. I have sent the team 5 emails within 16 days and got no response..Version: 2.11.1

Great game... butI love the gameplay, all the cards feel right and and creating decks with the perfect balance is a difficult and ever evolving task that works amazingly with the deck building genre and I really enjoy seeing what works and what doesn’t and trying to find new strategies to do more with my cards. But damn I struggle looking at this game. It’s so busy, every tile has a complex background, there’s no hierarchy between options, you never press where needs to be pressed, the main screen just looks like it’s covered in advertising, it’s just really unappealing for to the eye. There is simply too much going on and it makes it really difficult to intuitively navigate through any menus, don’t get me wrong, every bit of art on an individual level is really beautiful, I like it, but nothing works together, it’s all too much to work with. The concept of having a large arrow that says ‘press here’ every time you open a card pack is clearly demonstrative of this fact, every player should know what to do simply by seeing what is in front of them and doing what feels natural to complete the task they want to complete. As soon as you need a tutorial on how to operate the menu, you start taking away from the game play. I love this game. I do, really, everything about its gameplay is perfect in my eyes, and if it moves at the pace it’s at with its updates and challenges and tournaments and whatever, it will continue to be at that same level. But I can’t give a game that’s so hard to consume anything above a 3, it just taints the experience in a truely substantial way, one I can’t look past. Thanks, I hope the devs read this and make steps towards change. Know, I still love the game, and will continue to play it, I simply have my quarries..Version: 1.9.13

Enjoyable- with a time limit!I’ve dragged my feet about writing a review about this game for a long time. I have loved it and hated it immensely during the year or so I’ve been playing. I think the simplest way to review it is with an old line from Vegas. The house always wins! In the beginning, the game is pretty exciting. Lots of varied cards and play styles that a creative mind will really appreciate. As time goes on, you will find that the same albums dominate the meta for a while only for balance patches to change which albums will become over used. Take note, this is a digital game and whereas TCGs have a bit of chance involved, computational algorithms are what propel this game and RNG is not kind or fair. It gets to a point that you can tell whether the CUE gods want you to win a ladder match in the first draw, first hand and based on who your opponent is playing. But it goes without saying, the information of what your deck contains is used (in some way) to match you against your opponents. My advice to you is to play free to play because that is one thing that this game does well. The ads are minimal and you aren’t going to have much luck with trades and having all the cards doesn’t help much. Have fun and keep it CUE!.Version: 2.9.23

Looks fun, but text is too small on my phoneLooks fun, but the text on the cards is too small..Version: 2.9.20

Decent, but flawedThe concept is a great one. Collect cards and learn about the world in the process. However, there are some major issues that detract from the quality of the product. - By far, the most significant issues is that you almost NEVER play against real players. I spent a day playing and over 90% of my games were against bots. - The info on the cards plays very little relevance, making one of the big attractions to the game redundant - The game is also very biased towards more experienced or higher paying players, rather than on quality of gameplay. This could be negated by unlocking cards through achievements, changing game modes to okay against similar level players, or introducing new game modes that limit the rarity/level of cards able to be used or gives players the choice between cards at the start. Until these issues are addressed, the game is effectively just a card collector app..Version: 1.6.7

Really fun butI used to love the game ! That’s until you create the 8 immortals… If you don’t have those cards you lost every time against players that they have it. It’s just to much, like second turn they have 400 power….Version: 2.9.8

Addictive, fast paced but slightly p2wThis is a simple yet strategic card game. My favourite part about it is the trading system. This makes it possible to get cards that are not usually free for free. Of course someone has to pay for limited cards to trade them with you. There are constant cards coming out every few days. The p2w ones requiring constant payments or just buying a bunch of gems a month. As a warning, there are packs for gems which don’t guarantee the one good card you’re looking for. This can cause you to burn through $10-$20 of payed gems a week. However, there is also a f2p pack which can give you the same limited cards at a lesser chance. You’ll almost never get anything one, though. It is possible to play competitively for free with fusion cards. Provided you trade with other players for the cards to craft them with. Of course, you will always be severely outmatched by anyone who drops money constantly on the game as they will have unbeatable cards and combos. Unless you pay money you’ll find yourself getting left behind while playing second-rate decks. The trading system is the only saving grace for f2p players. Though, it can be frustrating to find anyone willing to trade their p2w limited cards for f2p ones. Unfortunately, the bulk of the players in this game are very selfish and tend to put forth unfair trades 80% of the time. The devs still haven’t implemented a fair trading system so that you’ll always trade your cards for what they are worth. While I enjoy the wide range of abilities the cards have, most are poorly worded as there is no clear structural wording for abilities. You’ll figure out what each card does as you play anyway. I still love the gameplay and deck building. Games are quick yet strategic, and trading can be rewarding. Overall the game can be fun to play as long as you trade smart and build you deck well. (Unfortunately, I won’t be able to play the game for a while since the latest update requires iOS 13 software, and I’m stuck using an iPhone 6. It’s a little disappointing when so many other games that are more complex can be run in this phone. But I’ll scrounge up enough money for a new phone eventually.).Version: 1.4.2

Great game but liesFantastic concept and really addictive the only thing I don’t like is it is imitating pvp I locked my phone fell asleep and opened it this morning most of the time it’ll say disconnected or whatever but this time it just started playing the cards like normal caught you out guys does take a bit out of it im playing a computer I will give you the benefit of the doubt of saying most of the time other than that fantastic idea and well executed but if im playing a computer I want to know it because sometimes the computer gives itself a bit of an advantage it’s not totally fair like legitimately playing someone else this was a “Live” pvp event match too. So in short fantastic game just don’t tell me im playing people when im not if I didn’t discover this it would of been 5 starts no problem.Version: 2.11.0

Repetitive with little creativityIf you like playing against the same decks all the time, even more than a game like Yu-Gi-Oh, this is your game. Though there are over 4000 unique cards, you might see 100 of them actually played. There is 0 balancing team involved in development, and because of this only a very select few decks are actually used, because every other deck just feels weak. The game luls you into thinking you’re doing good in the ranking systems when in reality you are playing against bots because matchmaking is entirely dependant on exp levels. There’s very few sets that are balanced to each-other, and the developers release cards everyday without any balance testing. Certain sets are overly favoured and recieve a boatload of support whereas other sets are entirely neglected. There are many cards that are utterly useless with uninteresting effects, and other cards that have effects that are far too powerful. There’s no ban system, and the attempt to force players to make new decks each week with the leagues is a farce and most decks remain the same with maybe 4 cards changed out. The trading system, though fun at first, quickly becomes a matter of constantly going online to check subreddits and discord servers to determine the value of a card, because the rarity system is junk. The most valuable cards in the game are level up rewards because most players quit before they ever reach that experience level. Overall the game is lacking in something every game needs: fun. A card game should be about finding interesting combinations and being able to build a variety of decks and win. This game lacks both of those things. Am dissatisfied with the game, after playing for over a month and a half, putting money and over 100 hours in..Version: 2.9.19

Needs more improvementThe game overall is very good allot of detail and interesting things to do and learn but I was playing against someone who only had 8 energy left and somehow used 3 cards worth of 16 energy with no ability’s to support that and it’s not one of the only times.Version: 2.9.22

Very enjoyable but keeps crashingGames very enjoyable, great concept the reason for the rating is because most of the time keeps force crashing and can be unplayable some days you can be on round 5 and the game will decide to crash. Want to open a new card pack? Think again can crash while trying to see what new cards you got. Very glitchy.Version: 1.8.8

Pay to winPay to win. Can’t even verse people without dying to op legendary card decks as soon as you start playing.Version: 2.9.9

Good updates but many faults.Easy to beat REAL people when playing leagues but the problem is you get 1 real person for every 5-10 computer players. That’s where the problems start. It’s nearly impossible to beat the computer players. Sad game.Version: 2.7.10

Love the game but energy problemI played for the first time last season. Got into the top 5 ranking was loving it. Then the season ended and they shortened the energy by 7 points in league play. Very much a bummer I can’t find the enjoyment in trying to battle with only 12 energy a whole game. If I wanted that I would just play a casual. I’m losing interest kinda fast just because of that. There’s not enough cards to unlock to gain permanent energy. I would personally love to see more permanent energy cards brought about or just patch it back to where we were getting 17 renewal energy each play in league. I’ll play the rest of this season but if something doesn’t come about I’ll more than likely drop the game. Grate game though love playing it..Version: 2.6.16

Pay to playI give this two stars because I enjoy the game and the idea of it was genius. Another knockoff magic the gathering or Pokémon genre of card games. However it is very much so pay to play. It plays on your impatience (through your wallet) to acquire cards and actually be able to get a good deck. So far I’ve not seen any good updates to the game. Only ones that have shied me away from it. Discord channel bans people over ridiculous things. Change it up and I’ll change my review to match it. Until then. Invest in a card game where you actually hold a physical card. Otherwise it’s pay to play and they hold 0 value as you’re then banned if you attempt to sell your cards as you would a Pokémon MTG etc. The community places stupid (in game) values that don’t make very much sense. People are dumb. That’s my 2 cents..Version: 2.10.9

Kinda fun but not quite as marketedThe intriguing idea behind this game was that is was educational in some way, but really it’s just another card game with categories that work well when the field that matches that category is available, and sometimes certain cards have special effects or work well with other cards. You learn nothing unless you take the time to read the back of each card, and there is zero incentive to do so. And, of course, the game is loaded with micro-transactions. You don’t need to spend money to play the game, but the same old tricks to entice you to do so are in play. It’s kinda fun as a card game and I can see the potential, but it seems the matchmaking for now is just dumb bots that don’t even try to win. And, just to add a final complaint, the music get’s irritating after about 30 seconds..Version: 1.3.10

Pay to Win TrashIt’s fun at first, when the game actually puts you against winnable opponents. But after a good 8 or so matches you start getting put up against opponents with 6 legendary cards in their decks. Theres this one card, Martin Luther King Jr., That costs three energy and gives off 19 power. Not too bad right? Except for the fact that this three energy card gives 20 power to every other card, including itself, that gets played. Effectively turning a “3 energy card” into a card that supplies 79 power… in other words, a card that’s stronger than every single common/rare card that’s costs under 8 energy. There’s also this stupid cat card, another legendary, that is 120 power, you’d think it would cost like 12 energy, but it only costs 8. THATS 15 POWER PER ENERGY SPENT?? Meanwhile my normal cards cost 7 energy and drop a maximum of 90 Power. And then once I play them I end up losing like 50 energy. This game forces you to pay money for legendary cards to win against other players that have a bunch of legendary cards. There’s no strategy in this game. Just pair up a couple of cards and drop a few legendaries in there and you won’t lose against anyone who hasn’t spent money on the game. Which spoiler alert, is a good 95% of the player base..Version: 2.9.16

I’m too lazy to add a title, just read the review.I’m quite torn on this game as on one hand the game has a unique concept and a pretty okay battling system. On the other hand though, after playing for about a week I realized that you’d have to play for a year or more in order to get the deck you want to use. This makes the game very difficult as (like most card games) the odds of you ever making the decks you wanted is extremely small.
