✓ Rigged gameThis game is designed as a pay to win game. You are usually playing against bots. When you’re doing too good they place you against Bots with fused and rare cards that are extremely hard to find giving them points each turn of over 350. They don’t even bother changing the names of the bots just the cards they get. Also they need to fix their cards if I play a card that says gain power for the whole game. The card should have power the whole game... not the turn like some of the cards say. As well as round cards. Game also crashes a lot and the trade button doesn’t work. When you buy packs you are constantly getting the same pack..Version: 1.8.7
✓ Great Informative Attention Grabbing GameIt’s rare to find a game which is both educational and pretty enjoyable to play, I’m usually not a massive fan of deck builders but the variety of collections available are so interesting that I keep coming back to the game just to see what else there is to find. ✓ Messaging systemOk this game could be 10X better if we could have some sort of way to communicate with our friends. The trading system is already good but it would make it so much better if we had a a way of connecting with our friends whether it be through the game, or through different apps such as facebook, insta, etc. I just feel like the trading system has a lack of communication in between the players. Being able to attack a profile or private chat in the game would make this game in my opinion one of the best card games hands down. ✓ Great gameI saw this game in ads but never downloaded it until my brother reccomended it for me. It is the most fun stratagy game and there are so many cards and it is not a pay to play win game. This game does need a few tweks such as card sorting, I have a lot of cards, and I would like it if it had a sorting option for combo cards, and more discriptive card abulity types, such as instead on energy based, make it it gives yiu energy or it take away your wnergy. Stuff like that. Still all very minor details, which are not detrimental to the game just makes it a little longer to make decks and find your cards you want. ✓ By far my favorite TCG appYou don’t even have to focus on weekly leagues to have a good time. I enjoy collecting enough coins to buy more card packs and expand my ever growing collection. The crafting and fusions are enough on their own to keep you busy even if you get burned out on deck building for a while. It’s always worth popping in to spin the wheel throughout the day and try to happen upon a card you needed to make another card. Or play casual games to clear out daily and weekly challenges if you need a boost on coins and gems. Or just trade this for that. It’s not heavy on pay to play. There’s plenty you can do without dropping money on avatars and deck sleeves. You can open the app for 2 minutes or 2 hours, it’s low dedication and you aren’t missing out on something major if you leave it alone for while. Alternatively, if you need to waste some time or have a nice distraction, this game can keep you entertained for quite awhile..Version: 2.10.2

✓ Great game but with unfortunate limitations.The games great! I’ve been playing it for about 3 years now and I’ve seen it evolving into the Titan it is today! Unfortunately, there are many issues with the gameplay and collecting aspect that should be fixed. A lot of limiting elements to. I like the game for the collecting aspect rather than VS’ing other players in battle. ✓ Best Card Game on the App StoreA wonder card game with an arena mechanic that brings a fresh feel to card battle and collection. The “Tug of War” point total mechanic also adds layers. Where you can lose the battle but win the war due to the 3 turn timer per round. The micro transactions while somewhat pay to win, are relatively reasonable and you can earn all the currency in a reasonably balanced manner through video rewards and gameplay. The only grip is that the cards themselves are boring and tend not to match in theme or style; this game would benefit hugely from a united art style rather than sometimes crude drawings, sometimes artistic representations and at other times actual photographs. It feels messy and low effort. Doesn’t affect the very solid gameplay which is most important however it does lower the polish of the game in my eyes..Version: 2.9.15

The card collecting element is great and the fun facts make this game educational as well as entertaining however I’ve tried to edit my deck to play the tutorial and the game is continuously stuck on a loading screen. ✓ Great gameWho ever writes the descriptions on the backs of the cards needs a raise. Funny insightful fun learning. This game fires on all cylinders. Viable even without money, perfect ranked mode, and endless cards. Once you achieve a certain rank you can’t rank past a certain point and the Meta is so spread out that you can’t just google “best deck ever” and win. ✓ Very dedicated teamI have to say i was pleasantly surprised with this card game and got wayyyyy too into it lol. I have never seen a team so dedicated to an online card game. there are constant shuffles to the weekly ranked league and new content drops weekly to keep players engaged, really good shop deals, a fun little weekly newsletter if that is your thing. there is also a lot of free packs and content to let new players or people without money to spend the chance to play with everyone else. other card games i’ve played felt very tough because after the start you tend to run out of packs and can’t make new decks after your first or second without spending money. not in this case. the deals in the shop are actually impressively fair to the point that i’ve bought packs just because i want to financially support a business model that feels so ethical and fair to me..Version: 2.10.7

✓ Best Card type game i've played!I've tried a few Card-Battle type apps over time, and CUE is by far one of the most entertaining AND legitimately informative game on the app store. There's a staggering amount of cards, all with factual interesting information about the card on the back, the artwork is really fantastic and nice to look at. The variety of cards is also very impressive, there is a vast number of cards and the majority have unique effects, so no two cards are quite the same which leads to an almost limitless variety of decks that can be built. My only critique, if any, would be to add a mode where you can have larger decks perhaps? Also, i'd like to see the UI for building decks refined somehow, with the absolutely staggering amount of cards, it can be difficult to create a deck while remembering which cards you have, or which ones fit under 'X' category etc. Maybe some way to tell if a card can be effected by another, or like if they are in the same "family" of cards, since there is so many categories. Overall fantastic game, no NEED to spend money to progress, you can certainly succeed without it, but should you choose to do so, i believe the market is fairly priced and you receive an adequate reward for doing so. 9.9/10 the ' .1 ' is only because the deck creation can be a bit overwhelming when you have a good number of cards, and only grows as you gain more cards..Version: 2.8.15

✓ Best mobile card game, BUT…I’ve been playing this game for about 2 weeks now, and I’m in love with it. The problem is that certain mechanics decide when they want to work and when they don’t. For example: the Sitting Bull card gives each card in your hand a +25 power boost if you lost the turn. I use that card in my main deck, but it’s ability will trigger even if you won the turn so long as your opponent so much as takes over in points before your points are even calculated. In the spirit of fair play, that’s just broken. A similar issue happens with cards that rely on you winning/losing to trigger their abilities. Sometimes when the actual intended outcome happens, there’s basically like a 70/30 chance the abilities won’t trigger. I’ve had this problem win and lose me games, but it’s just too inconsistent. Hopefully a more definable way of “winning” and “ losing” a turn is fixed..Version: 2.7.10

✓ Fun but oh so frustratingI loved this game for the first month or so finding the best combo’s, seeing what works best and learning off the community that have been there for a long time. But that’s just the problem. The matchmaking does not take into account league position and time played. I won’t take away, this game is fun but when I’m only 2 months in and can’t yet obtain some of the ridiculously good cards - Ultra-fusions for example it really does hinder how many games you can win. I appreciate there is a trading aspect but being new I don’t have the other good cards you need to trade to gain these Ultra-fusions. All I believe this game needs is better matchmaking so I’m not in rank 17 coming up against top 100s. The depth at which research goes into making this game as well as its cards allows for people to play, collect, or trade however they want without needing to worry about not leveling up or gaining currency. Speaking of currency, while I’ve been playing the game for over a few months, I have not had to spend one dollar on gaining the cards that I’ve found throughout my journey. I’d also like to point out the ease at which new players can pick up the way games work with CUE’s excellent tutorials and fun graphics that allow the game to be more immersive and simplified for everyone to play. Even if someone wanted to play competitively, that option is provided and well organized. ✓ Great but a few bugs!I am addicted to this game and I have been playing so much :) however, there are a couple of bugs that annoy me. First off, the new daily challenges only popped up for me the first time I downloaded the app, and I haven’t seen them since. A second bug is that marbled newt’s ability doesn’t seem to work with Ursa Minor, which is a constellation. Another thing that would be nice is after the daily coins and xp are earned you would still be able to earn a small amount of coins and xp from winning (like 25 coins and 5 xp). ✓ Great game! Needs a little work.Game is amazing! I love the concept of learning and playing a competitive card game. Learned quite a lot of interesting facts about many things. There are multiple minor inconveniences in the game that will be addressed the more people play and the longer this app is available to play. The biggest issue I have had is when playing in competitive League mode, my opponent was able to play cards when he was in negative energy which should not be allowed and caused me to lose tremendously; not sure if the player is exploiting a bug or illegally playing. However, this game is awesome, and even has a lot more potential to grow with events and possible new game modes/challenges..Version: 1.7.3

This game and the community and the devs are great. I’ve been playing for about 2 weeks now and I am still having a blast. It’s a great game to get on to do some trades, quests, and your daily free stuff and then go about your day. Or, you can even get really competitive and grind leagues. But, the game is great either way. They also give you a lot of free stuff daily, sometimes in the store, or through email. But, it’s not so much where it’s not fun. ✓ Honest Review Of Cards, Universe And EverythingWhen I first found this game, I was pondering whether to download it. When I eventually did, and opened up the game, I was put straight into A tutorial. Thought it A bit strange I couldn’t select an Archetype. But then I realised the game’s main goal: To teach, not to entertain. When you enter your card inventory, you can tap on A card to have A better look at its energy cost, power or effect, sure, but then you can tap on the card again, and it flips to show 1 or 2 facts about it (My personal favourite is with the Night Vision Goggles card, where it says, “Contrary to my absolute belief that it is using magic,”, which is just adding to the charm of the game. Speaking of charm: Profile Customisation. You start with A select few Avatar Icons, and can get more based on random chance through packets (Don’t worry, I’ll talk about monetisation soon.). These help you show your flair, but I personally find the basic selection to be limiting. Then again, this game caters to fans of many different areas of expertise, so I can’t speak for everyone on that front. You can also assign your favourite achievements and cards, too. Another charm-point for this game is their reliance on Memes. 1 of the Avatar Icons is that owl from that, “O Rly?” Meme, and the Shiba Inu card’s Did You Know section was filled with the, “Wow, Much, So,” Meme, and I absolutely adored it. Now, let’s talk about Monetisation. It’s no secret that companies are made to make money, but I feel like the developers handled it really well. The option to pay for more packs is there, but the game never pressures you unless that item is going to be removed from the marketplace, in which I’d say that’s fair, because you generally wouldn’t want to miss out on something if it is never gonna be done again, like A performer’s last concert. It does have advertisements, but I have only found them in having A second spin of A wheel, and, again, it doesn’t pressure you into doing so. On the subject of prize wheels, the packs of cards and the wheel doesn’t seem to be rigged to give you higher amounts of common cards. In most games, when things come to chance, I am always gonna be at the bottom of the barrel. With this game, though, the prizes feel genuine and left PURELY to chance. To make the topic of monetisation short, the game DOES have Monetisation, but it implements it fairly well. The game is fun for A card game, and I love opening another pack each day (You get daily rewards, and if you miss out on A day, it doesn’t reset the counter, because it counts up to 7, goes back to 0, and resets all the rewards, allowing for A continuous and planable routine.) to learn A new fact about something I get from it. The only pet-peeve I have about the game is the players. Not something the devs can fix, though, we just need A more benevolent community. You could be playing in A regular, unranked Casual match, and someone would make it A point to use their strongest strategies (Seriously, Dude or Dudette, try it in Ranked. We are just trying to play for fun.). So it’s A good game that achieves its goal of teaching well, it just has A relatively competitive community..Version: 2.10.5
✓ Amazing game!This is a great card game. Although it has a large amount of randomness due to the nature of how you obtain cards, it is still very easy to make a (semi) competitive deck. One small point for improvement would be to add a way to properly negotiate when trading. Absolutely incredible card game, very very fun and interesting. While you can buy packs, gems, etc. it’s not really necessary. Play games, do your quests, spin your wheel and enjoy yourself. Casual play and League play are both very fun in their own rights and the every-changing League keeps things interesting and ensures that even if the current week has bonuses that you have no cards for, you can just play casual and wait a week for it to change. League play (and even casual sometimes) may feel pretty daunting and until you build up your card collection and deck-build some good/fun decks, it may feel like the people you’re up against can sometimes pull out incredible combos that are unbeatable. Trust me, take your time, collect different cards or packs (or focus on a specific interest, such a the Dog cards for me) and eventually you’ll be making some incredibly fun deck that you’ll be proud of! ✓ I’m Pleasantly SurprisedI downloaded this game thinking it was going to be another one of those “try it out to delete in 10 mins” kinda game, but boy were my expectations way off. ✓ My honest OpinionThe game is honestly fun and quirky. Its great fun from a gameplay standpoint and i love the different cards and their abilities. Like how ancient Rome cards get abilities to help you come back from losing because of ancient Romes military prowess. There is fun combos as well as different cards with abilities that match really well. The strategy is really fun if you take the time to learn it. The game’s silly aspect on the other hand keeps the balance between strategy hardcore and casual play style even. There are a few micro transactions, but its a free game so i would expect no less. Its defiantly not a game that you need to pay win, you only pay for extra card packs and limited edition cards. There is a slight educational aspect, as cards come with descriptions and history on the back, but this is in no way an educational game (it is not made specifically to teach). This is pretty simple as far as card games go, not a ton of mechanics to learn. Whether that’s a pro or con depends what you are looking for. The game is pretty generous with free stuff. Lots of free gems to be had on a daily basis and you can get quite a bit of cards that way without paying anything. Not super grindy, and the built in trading system is cool. Overall really fun! The same two or three decks are just used over and over again in league matches despite there being seemingly thousands of cards, and the casual matches are just against bots. You either win too easily, or don’t win at all. There’s no in-between. Also, I’ve noticed recently that my best and most useful cards keep coming out last in rotation every game, as if it’s not really random anymore but rather very much pre-meditated by the software. ✓ Great new entry to the card gamesI’ve played a few card games and CUE is one of the better. It’s not pay to win, their league system rotates each week so there is no p2w meta deck. I reach rank 5 within the first couple of weeks without paying a cent. Trading system is ok, nice concept, you can round out decks for that card your missing. Only down side is the sheer number of cards and their filtering when building a deck. So many combinations and you can’t search by cards that link to each other, meaning you can overlook combos quite easily. ✓ Great but needs faster balancingThis game is super fun and is a great play on table top card games you love like MtG, Hearthstone, etc. The only issue is that there are certain cards that are easier to obtain and they are OP. You will find yourself losing almost always to the same style of deck. It’s most definitely worth the try and is not always a pay to win. A lot of free stuff to make you competitive! Edit: as of Oct 2023; don’t bother playing the league bonuses and trying to match the arena. Just get as many Nebula space cards as you can until they fix/ nerf them. ✓ Amazing, and some suggestions.I’m currently a graduate student working on my doctorate degree full-time alongside work. This game has been a breath of fresh air between all the stress. This game is so addicting I literally have to throw my phone across the room to avoid the temptation of playing this game when I should be studying. This game has so much potential. The weekly league play is fun. Suggestions: Install a world ranking system where you can see how you stand against other players worldwide. A system that accounts for total wins, card collection size/quality, league play finishes, and other factors. Also it would be fun to have scheduled live tournaments that you can sign up for to win rewards. Maybe like an 8 or 16 player bracket (or bigger) that goes live until it’s finished. ✓ CUE Cards ReviewI downloaded this game expecting it to a crappy game with only like 50 cards or so that I’d delete within an hour. Ended up staying up an extra 3 hours playing this game. Been playing for 3 weeks almost and I still am finding out about new card packs daily and the game itself runs fairly smooth. ✓ CUE is a lot of fun!I’ve played Pokémon and MtG and really enjoy this deck-building (and battling) game. My (adult) son recommended the game to me. I downloaded it, yesterday, and played not imagining it would be a keeper. The mechanics of the game are clever. That the cards have info on the back appeals to the former educator in me (as well as a fan of all-things-trivia). I enjoy that there is a trading element. I adore that you have to think when setting up your decks. Collecting cards is amazingly fun. The coins you can “earn” each day are generous (especially when compared to other apps and their micro transactions). I would like it if there was a place that I could find/purchase some new Card Backs and if the 400 gem theme packs were more feminine. (They seem to changeover once per week, so I’m hoping for something “prettier” in four days time. Fans of crocodiles/alligators and the Aztecs are in luck this week!) ✓ Easy, Unique, Needs MoreSo, I’ve been playing card games for years. Big magic player, big hearthstone player, Shadowverse, plants vs zombies heroes to name a few more. Saw an add for this and thought this looks interesting and for as easy as it is, it’s definitely got a fun kick too it. The cards are fun to mix and match and figuring out what goes together to get you the most point is fun, plus it’s fairly FTP. I invested $20 and ended up getting a lot of cards out of that being packs are cheap and it’s nice they have them separated by theme to make it easier to acquire cards. The trading system is also cool, it’s nice to finally see some type of trading system in a game. My only thing, and it isn’t bad being this is a new game, is hopefully in time they come out with new mechanics and strategies. Right now the best strategies involve ramping into a ton of energy to have big swing turns, or playing cards that drain your opponents energies or points. Granted that’s the point of the game to win based off points and using your energy wisely, but hopefully in time we will see some new strategies and mechanics that go above just energy and points. Yes, it’s free to play, but the shop is not predatory at all. You can earn plenty of premium currency just playing the game. And you can trade for whatever you want! So you can hike a dream deck quite quickly. Like after 3 days I had enough rarer cards to trade for cards I actually wanted in my deck. It’s awesome how the history/biography on each card matches with how it’s played in the actual game. Like a secret society card (which actually existed) killed their ruler, and so when played the card debuffs any super rare/powerful cards! Stuff like that. It’s also a completely unique card game when it comes to gameplay. I’ve played Pokémon, duel masters, YuGiOh, MTG, and many more card games, but you don’t need any of that knowledge to do well here. It’s more of a tug of war type of gameplay that enables players to build whatever kind of decks they want. And with so much synergy between cards, you can truly pick whatever type of deck sounds cool and it can be made viable. I can see this being more than just a singleton card game, I can see some different formats than just the energy system like a neo format were you can only play one type of card in your deck or album. ✓ It’s pretty good!Very cool game, lots to collect and many different strategies to keep in mind while building a deck. It’s very generous when it comes to getting cards, and sometimes you can even find free flash offers in the shop! The trading is fun too, quick and easy. I want to see more added to it though, like more ways to get customization features and a better way to display, organize, and read through your cards. The communication with other people is pretty limited which can be tough during trading, but it’s a great game overall..Version: 2.9.19
