✓ Favorite games - need more!I love your games! As a big puzzle person, I’ve enjoyed many others, but they are often too dark (in color) for my older eyes. I love the difficulty of the puzzles as well as the graphics. So much so that I’ve actually played them over and over to see how quickly I can do it. Thanks!.Version: 1.03

✓ Excellent point, click, puzzle appAs others have suggested, I would rate this a 5 star, but I try not to use that except for the MOST brilliant events. I am not a heavy user of these sorts of games, but I do enjoy them. The first few levels are ‘simple’ enough to allow one to enter the game and begin exploring and deducing. Some puzzles are ‘easy’, others are down right confounding. Without a secondary site offering the answers, I might well have walked away. So, challenging enough for a beginner to start, challenging enough for an expert to enjoy. The Quick Travel option is greatly appreciated and useful. Also nice is that when a puzzle is solved the ‘box’ opens, you do NOT have to step back and then come back forward and confirm the puzzle is solved and the ‘box’ has opened. The feature that disturbs me is the proximity of the tool bag to the ‘back arrow’ and the need to always close the tool bag before being able to change scenes - although, the tool bag must be open to access the map which allows one quickly change scenes. Great App, lots of fun. Thank you.Version: 1.21

✓ Another Awesome MediaCity Game!Please don’t be misled by my rating: This game is worth more than 4 stars. However, as a point of principle, I save 5-star ratings for the all-time best of the best (which, for me, are Monument Valley, Gorogoa, The Room series, and Rusty Lake series). MediaCity games, however, are fun, exciting, creative, challenging, and downright beautiful. This game is worth the purchase and play, and I’ll keep playing any games the developers out out. ✓ Love it!I love this game and all the games by these developers. Obviously a lot of time and effort went into creating them. Especially like how they don’t need fancy animations or graphics to tell a story - they don’t even need you to meet other characters along the way. You’re really the only person in the world, there’s no interaction with others - this really supports the eerie feel of the story, which is all about trying to find out where your friends have gone. I only didn’t give this game a 5 star rating, because I feel there are three *minor* improvements the developers could make: 1. As another reviewer said, the hints system could be made clearer. Some of the hints just read “solve the puzzle, then...” - but if the puzzle is the thing you’re stuck on, you really need a picture of what the solved version looks like! I’ve played a few puzzle games before where the “hints” system gives the player a choice of a cryptic “clue”, OR you can opt for the complete solution if you’re really stuck. This is helpful because you can choose if you just want a nudge in the right direction, or if you really need the answer spelled out - maybe something like this could be added for future games? 2. The music is quite repetitive and is the same music through the game. There’s so much Creative Commons, free music out there that the developers could have used, that I’m kind of confused as to why they didn’t. It would be nice to have different background music for different areas, and perhaps different times in the game. Listening to the same, mournful tune which seems to loop over about 30 seconds is quite wearying and actually detracts from the gameplay experience - which is a miss on the part of the developers, because music should enhance the environment. 3. Some of the wording and grammar is a bit odd. I’m playing the game in English, and I’m wondering if the developers wrote it in another language and translated? There’s only one instance where the meaning of something isn’t actually clear (something is referred to as “pristine”, and you need to know *which* something is being referred to in order to solve a puzzle - but the word “pristine” in the context makes no sense). I feel like a read-through and edit from a native speaker who is *highly proficient* in each language the game is presented in, could help clear up some of the clunky wording. Other than these two though, I’m really impressed with the puzzles, the eerie atmosphere - and how they did so much story with what is really quite simple graphics! Definitely recommend :) (just maybe mute the music and listen to your own in the background, and use google for a walkthrough if you get stuck on the hints). Thanks!.Version: 1.03
✓ This Game Is "Beyond Wondrous"!I played the first part in this series before I started reviewing games. I remember it was magnificent, one of the first puzzle-oriented games I ever played. I'm excited that a new chapter has arrived, proving to be as intriguing as its predecessor. The developer is adept at creating high-quality, praiseworthy graphics; the graphics exhibit a professionally rendered quality, with precise lines and layers to augment the vivid, photo-like portrayal of the environment. The breathtaking vistas enrich my curiosity, evincing a tranquil sense of wanderlust, encouraging me to gaze upon the exquisite landscapes I discover, with each one being its own work of art. The exquisite color palette includes a vast array of vibrant and richly textured hues. The coloration alters to reflect the perspective and mood of each environment. Exploration is far-reaching, as I stumble upon forgotten caves, majestic palaces, lush gardens, and snow-capped mountains. This storyline conveys a subtle, unspoken narrative, persuading a player to depend upon atmospheric and textual clues to decode enigmatic puzzles. You often refer to your journal, which records clues to solve the puzzles. The puzzles vary in format, never becoming monotonous. Playtime is satisfactory if you don't succumb to the temptation of using too many hints; you might just give yourself a pat on the back for solving the game on your own. A few quibbles: Too many times, the text that appeared on the screen disappeared too quickly; thus, it became frustrating to have to tap several times to speed-read through the entire message. Furthermore, the opened inventory bar obstructed access to the back button, resulting in constant closing of the inventory bar, breaking fluidity of progression. Additionally, I prefer a Hint System that directly leads me to a current task/clue, rather than forcing a player to sift through the entire Hint section to find one specificity, resulting in spoiled undiscovered surprises. These quibbles, however, do not dissuade me from rendering this game five stars. This journey provided needed tranquility from the ongoing pandemic. For this, I thank the developers. On a final note, I hope Alice becomes trapped once again..Version: 1.03

✓ Really good!I loved the first game and am a huge Alice in wonderland fan so this is right up my street and it didn’t disappoint. I love the style of their games and their are some tricky moments but with patience and perseverance you are rewarded. I was gutted when it was over! It’s on offer at such a bargain at the minute too, if I enjoy a game I’m willing to pay a decent amount for it up to about £15 on iOS, I hope they do another, perhaps Alice through the looking glass? Also having a few characters speak the odd line based on the goofy narratives in Alice in wonderland would be incredible. I’d pay for an even bigger version.... love your games....good job!.Version: 1.03
✓ Great game, bad hint systemLoved the game, however, I hated the hint system. There were a few times I got stuck and needed a hint. When utilizing the hint system it contained spoilers instead of just nudging you towards the solution. A hint system that correlated to the map, such as, an item at scene 5 needs attention, etc. The game is long and the graphics are so pretty. The puzzles are nice and challenging if you enjoy fetch and use type puzzles as opposed to puzzles that require solving, if you will. I recommend the game, even though I had some small issues with the hint format. Great job..Version: 1.03

✓ It’s not bad..When I originally downloaded this game I quickly came to realize how beautifully it was made, as the colors stood out and the music is a bit mysterious which feeds into the vibe. Though, as I ventured slowly into the game I found myself using the ‘hints’ much more frequently than I would’ve enjoyed. It’s a fun game to play on a weekend but not as a fun, mystery game I was hoping for. Overall, I think there were a few lose ends and a very abrupt ending but it was entertaining nonetheless..Version: 1.21

✓ Wonderful Wonderland!Fun point-and-click adventure with lots of puzzles and scenes, ...good length of game play...lovely graphics with lots of artistic detail. Transport map, notes/journal and in-game hints available And even though this is definitely a 5⭐️ game, there are a couple things that could be improved...mostly with inventory: 1) Used items stay in the inventory bar the whole game. 2) Selecting inventory items didn’thighlight or stay pressed so not clear if item was activated for use. 3) Inventory open prevents clicking the back arrow. 4) IMHO, the BGmusic became repetitive. Nature sounds(birds, water, rain, etc) in the background would be a nice option ...and much more immersive...instead of looped music. Still a great game and thank you.Version: 1.03

✓ DecentA good game for social distancing times. Nice graphics, decent puzzles, but not challenging. Pretty light on story. The game works well, and has hints and fast travel..Version: 1.03
✓ Another solid gamePlayed both now and they are of an equal quality i.e. very good. Puzzles just at the right level of complexity for a seasoned player such as myself. Graphocs are fine, but the controls are a little clunky and i wish they wouldn’t take up so much of the screen. Another slight irritation is that you only point generally in the direction of something and find that you have moved to another screen. This is OK, except when you are trying to use a shovel to find something hidden in the ground and it keeps taking you to the further page. Then of course, your object has been de-selected and so you have to fiddle around to get back to the right place and select the object again. Like the hints and the fast-move through the screens. Don’t be put off by reference to Laice, as this game is suitable for adult males such as myself. All-in, recommended and will certainly keep my eyes open for more of the same. ✓ Non-functional Broken Crank Screen in TowerI have been enjoying this game on a daily basis up until today. The broken crank in the tower is not responding to taps. I have tried exiting the game and re-opening it several times to no avail. Help, please! This is a beautiful game and otherwise thoroughly enjoyable. I will upgrade my rating when I can proceed with the game. Update: After receiving a prompt reply from the tech support group, I am updating this game to a five star. There was no indication that the crank exchange had taken place when I returned to the tower, but somehow it had. As I said, the tapping did nothing. I also want to add that this game has a wonderful balance between indoor and outdoor scenes with beautiful graphics. I highly recommend it!.Version: 1.03

✓ Nice but needs more immersion!The graphics are beautiful, story as well, but it needs improvements. Every action you make is reset upon exiting the particular view / room. For example, I open doors, exit room, enter again and their are closed again. Another example is fiddling with the books in second room. They are randomly shuffled every time I attempt to organize them and they do not remain “tapped” after exiting. Please make it that every action you make stays to make it more immersive. ✓ Engrossing but hardI played the first one a couple of years ago and was happy to see this released. It is epic and I am totally addicted but finding parts quite hard even with the hints. The hints are good but very detailed and one particular item I just couldn’t find but eventually got via a walkthrough. Don’t be put off though it is amazing and I haven’t finished yet but keep coming back to it, that is the sign of a quality puzzle when you think about it even when you are not playing it!! Worth the full price but 99p in the sale is the best 99p I have spent since Mr Pumpkin 😁🙃😉.Version: 1.03
