Lots of taxing puzzles, none of which are illogical. I just needed to use the excellent little hint system once myself. A great little story, I won't give anything away. ✓ Beautiful game!I love all these games, but this one in particular. It has many, many beautiful screens, each of them with one, two, three hidden things to do… And a few of the screens are there just for the beauty of it. The green text describing interactive objects important to the story is also a nice clue. Tapping around is not punished, which is also nice. And I must confess that I loved the ending, which does explain a lot of what is really happening. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who loves to search for clues while enjoying beautifully drawn (or rendered?) screens. I look forward to more games from this developer. There is one rather frustrating timed puzzle where the time window is far too small to solve it before the timer runs out, although a skip function is available. I would prefer a longer, and more fair, length of time to solve this puzzle myself rather than having to resort to skipping, and this is a suggestion for a future update. This one small detraction is not enough to subtract from my enjoyment of the game in general, and to prevent me giving it 5 stars..Version: 1.0

The puzzles are not too difficult, as the game is very linear, but they are not easy, some puzzles are tough but there's walk throughs online if you get stuck. ✓ Beautiful Naturally Relaxing ScenesThough quite similar in style to its predecessor Alice Trapped in Wonderland, for odd reasoning I seemed to have enjoyed The Lost Fountain a lot more. Both have subpar mapping and hint systems (hints are practically walkthroughs). But Lost Fountain has A LOT of beautiful natural scenes making it a relaxing experience. The puzzles/solutions were very intelligently spread out which helped lengthen the gaming experience. In other words, when approaching most puzzling situations, very rarely would I already have solvable clues or props; otherwise it likely would be too easy and short. So a perfect gameflow! Despite my earlier described negatives, the goods far outweigh the bads. Five stars! Plus it ran very smoothly glitch-free for me (iPad Mini 4 / v10.3.3)..Version: 1.1

✓ Wow!!I really enjoyed this game and it took me a week on and off to complete. I loved the graphics and the clues and was totally enthralled by the game. However, I couldn't have done it without using the walkthrough a few times because I was completely stuck at some points. Thank goodness I was able to skip the underwater elephant puzzle as I dont think I could have ever done that in the time allowed. Also, what had me stumped for ages was that there was two pipe puzzles when I thought I was looking at the same one. Doh!! Once I figured that out it helped a lot. I have also played Alice Trapped in Wonderland too but I enjoyed this one more even though I thought it was also very good. Many puzzles, most were fun, a few didn't make a lot of sense (the pipe puzzle) and a few I had to go to appunwrapper to verify I was doing the right thing. Best thing I did -- make a detailed map as I went, naming the puzzles and crossing off puzzles as I completed them. That way, when I found a new object or clue, I could check my map for where it could be used. Otherwise, I would never have remembered all the puzzles that were pending. There is no teleport so my map saved me a lot of trudging around too. Annoyingly, the notebook holding hints was difficult to bring up and didn't stay up during puzzles. For lengthy codes (moon phase), I transcribed to paper so I could consult the note while the puzzle was up. I would give another star if I didn't have to take my own notes and there was a teleport feature. Better help system would be nice too..Version: 1.0
