✓ Fun but needs updatingGame was fun in the beginning, but once you have all the towns unlocked it gets pretty boring. If the game can come up with different events every several days, I’m not sure why the developers don’t come up with new maps. Also, I paid $30 for the upgrades but they don’t seem to work in the special events, which seems like a big waste of money now that all the cities are completed. I’d recommend that the creators update the game more regularly with new maps, create a “bank” where the money from completed towns can go into, helping you upgrade things in other cities..Version: 1.2.4

✓ Good but still needs a bit of workBeen playing a while now, opened the 3rd police station. However it seems that I’ll never be able to 100% complete the first station. It won’t let me complete a one final task to arrest the last person on my list despite all departments being 100% upgraded. It asks me to upgrade front desk station despite it being fully upgraded. If this registered I think I’d have been able to open a 4th station by now as it looks like you need a “gold badge” to unlock this. Also some of the upgrades seem a bit steep, in the first station a locker cost £38+ million to upgrade yet my income over 2 hours is only £1+ million so doesn’t seem very fair if you only play 3-4 times in a day. Love the idea of the game but upgrades could be a bit more realistic and whatever bug is on the first station to help progress would also be great!.Version: 1.2.0
✓ Game is brokenYour game is broken. On every device, 3 different ones, I get the same connection error message. Add that to the goals you programmed that can never be reached because they exceed the level limits you set and other problems, and I find myself disgusted. FIX the game. I flew through all the police stations in a month and did not have to spend money to do so but the last one never reached five stars due to an unfixed bug related to a criminal you can never catch, and so I upgraded it as far as I could and now uninstalled the game since there’s nothing left to do..Version: 1.0.2
✓ It’s good but....It is way too hard to make money in this game, I have so many things that I need to upgrade but I can’t because I never have enough money, and whenever I come back to the game after being off-line for 12 hours or more I still only have a fraction of the money I need to upgrade anything of worth. The ad bonuses that you get are not even worth it because you only get 10 minutes each time you watch it when other idle games will give you four hours or at least two hours. I can’t advance even with all my upgrades, it seems like you only get money when you’re on the game, but only a pittance when you’re offline. I’ll give it a little longer but I doubt anything’s going to get better or easier. I need more money and it’s just not coming. ✓ Haikang issueSo I’ve reached the last station available at the moment and there seems to be a problem in the reception. I tried to reach support through the app but can’t seem todo it since I get a pop up that my account has been linked. The problem is when the receptionists talk with the people and they generate the books, they place it in the bookshelf so the interns can take it but when they do it shows the plus sign and a yellow triangle besides it with no indication of what the book might be, now the bookshelf is full of orange books but no intern takes it. I just finished the event at the same time that I finished the previous map. So now I don’t really have anything to do in the app until another event is released.Version: 1.2.4

✓ Enjoyed, but deletingI have enjoyed playing this game but now I’m frustrated and deleting. I was on the very last stage of the new limited time Twilight City mission. But I unlocked a new police station and tapped on it to go there and apparently it’s not fully developed yet so it won’t load. The problem is that I can’t just go back and work on my Twilight City or other police station - it’s stuck on the load screen because it automatically loads the last place you were. Since the last place wouldn’t load, I have no option to go anywhere else! So now I can’t even finish my limited time city because I can’t get to it. ✓ Mixed feelingsI think outright the game is quite fun to begin with, it can be completed very quickly. Some issues still need to ironed out, the last chapter of the third station cannot be completed, the requirements require level 6 desks in the Criminalist department when the max is level 4, for instance. In addition, the end game play once your station has been maxed out and has full upgrades is non-existent, meaning there is a ‘all this work for nothing’ mentality once the station is completed, which is likely to turn some people away after playing for a few hours. Personally, once you go forward and open more departments, there should be additional space open in the previously worked on stations to build these new departments. Also, the maximum security prisoners should not be permanent unlocks, but should be more “daily quests” so that there’s *something* to do when you log into your old stations. Just a few ideas to make the game feel better for the user and end game experience..Version: 1.0.2

✓ GlitchI’d give better stars but, since I redownload the game again after not playing for a while, there’s this glitch that won’t even allow me access to the settings options. I get this pop up notification that spams me, making exiting out of settings tab impossible, saying that I’ve already got an account hooked up to the game. I have to exit out of the game entirely. Can’t even get to the settings to turn off the volume and sound effects without being spammed by a pop up. If this bug gets fixed, I’d give a better review. ✓ Fun but......The game is fun and yes you need to buy the no ads to make it workable, I’ve done this on several of the developers games and haven’t been disappointed. It’s like paying for a game on your desktop so I’m happy to pay for all their hard work. The problem I have with his game is how much money it takes to finish a level. 38 million to upgrade a locker when you get about 75k a day???? Really??? And you have to do this over and over? You get to a point where, honestly, it’s pointless to play anymore. You wait an entire day or two just to upgrade one item then leave it off for a few days so you can upgrade something minor again. No thanks, that’s not a game. The developers have done a great job on their other games and I enjoy their work but this one is really in need of some modifications. To the developers, lower the amount required to upgrade items and you guys will have another great game on your hands and that people will be willing to play through its end and gladly pay to enjoy. You don’t get enough money in this game I have to relay on the double money and the ad bonuses to get some kind of money 2. ✓ Way too time consumingI play the university tycoon non stop so I tried this one out. It was fun originally... until I had to sit there and stare at the screen and keep watching ads to gain a few dollars... finally after 2 days of constantly watching ads I could upgrade ONE LOCKER ONE LEVEL. I tried to stay patient with it but eventually after seeing the same ad 150 times in one day, i couldn’t do it anymore. Also, after watching 5 ads to get the money multiplier, and closing out the app I come back in 3 minutes later and that multiplayer is gone. Waste of time..Version: 1.2.4
✓ It’s good but...Early on the game plays quite quickly and is very interesting with unique ideas and mechanics that any player can quickly understand, after a 20-30 minute period you basically have to switch off the game to get some money when you come back, I don’t have an issue with this. My issue is that after you reach a certain point in the late game, it takes literally weeks to get single upgrades unless you want to fork out real world money for boosts and premium content, you could grind for the upgrade for free but the amount of time required is absurd. So it’s fun to play for a week but then do yourself a favour and uninstall it and move on to something else.Version: 1.2.1

✓ Awesome But Limited ControlThis game is awesome, but I want more control when I’m playing. I have downloaded most of the games from this developer, and I’m pretty much hooked at this point. But, this game needs more direction. For instance, the interns need to be told where to take the files. In the law game, I can decide which intern takes what, and this game needs that desperately since there are so many different departments. Also, each department needs to be more in sync. For example, there are certain crimes that can only be processed by fraud, but the interns will take that file to the regular police who aren’t equipped to handle it, and there’s no way to fix it. Why can’t they take the files to the right place instead of trying to work them? And, because of the lack of control, there are cases that basically get thrown out because of the fact there’s no place to put them. Right now, I have detectives who are taking every single file to my other department instead of taking it to the police, so my policeman are sitting there with no files to work because the detectives keep taking it to the wrong place. There also needs to be a clearing feature where I can remove Files from my cabinet when they are misplaced. Overall, this is a great game, but it needs more control for the player. Otherwise, you’re going to pull your hair out because they do not follow what they should in the game, and it’s infuriating. And, a bonus would be floors of jail cells..Version: 1.2.4

✓ Needs some workThe game is very fun and a good ideal game…… but the game needs more direction. When a certain area is over worked there needs to be direction on how to fix the over worked employees and not just a warning saying they are over worked. The game is also kinda confusing on how you are making money other than upgrading stuff in the certain areas. The game needs tell you like every time someone in reception take a complaint you are making money or every time the detectives go over a case you make money. The game also need to be able to zoom out more to see the whole map because scrolling left and right multiple times to get to one area to tap on it gets old. The game also needs a bug update. I have all of the departments in place but the scam department NEVER gets a case meaning I can’t catch the last big criminal. That’s the main problem but there are many others (including parts of the game that haven’t been translated). The major crimes section can be upgraded but the upgrades have no reward (I.e. no speed or money increase). The last updates was a week ago so it’s weird that these glaring issues weren’t dealt with. ✓ Don’t spend $30 for a Very Short Idle GameBased on the developers past games (that they VERY rarely add new content updates to) that I’ve played, I bit my lip and bought the $30 to buy all of the characters. I bought this package, which is much more expensive than their other games, assuming this game was going to be their best. Nope. I reached the final level in one day. Based on the history of this developer abandoning their older games after they release a new one, I’d say they’ll add a few more levels and challenges and then it’ll be abandoned like the rest. ✓ Doesn’t LoadI’ve loved all games by this dev, and all the other games have worked fabulously and have been so much fun. However, this game doesn’t even get past the loading screen. My phone is updated, the app seems to be updated, and after opening the app it’ll stay on the loading screen forever. Just in case it was downloading a large file, I left my phone on the loading screen for 10+ minutes, and even though it doesn’t appear to be frozen (the game tips under the loading bar continue to change) the game never seems to get past the loading screen. ✓ Don’t purchase a thingIf you are looking for a great idle game to kill time, that you don’t pay a single thing for, this is right up your alley. I will discourage buying the beginner’s bundle because, it takes away the double your earnings option and replaces it with the +50% permanent boost. If you were going to sit and play the game, you were likely to double your earnings so, why would you want to spend money on a game that is going to penalize you for doing so? ✓ Entertaining but unbalanced and glitchyUpdate 2023 Dec. still glitchy half the crime bosses caught disappear from the isolation cells meaning a massive amount off your income is gone. The prices to get the final few upgrade to complete a station 100% is astronomical. 40 million for the final upgrade on the highest swat locker. That feels more then the rest is worth in total.(it’s not but 98% of upgrades on the first station are under 500k easy.) The game is fun to start and like other idle games slow. The issue is the balance and the price. The first police station you get 95% through (and there are hard caps for income) and now it’s check in once a blue moon. Also having more cops catch more criminals past a minimum gain no income. Just more loss as cop wages. This gets far worse as you progress until you get to the station that requires a “gold” shield to unlock. The in between would take weeks to beat with no real progress as again income is severely limited. Great you login 10 times with max gains and lvl up a desk. A desk that is not actually used in anyway in this station as no crimes are under it’s jurisdiction unless you are over flooding others. Others that you can max for half the price… You have three types of police and guess what. The most advanced takes 4 of 5 types. Now you have to wait for them to trickle over slowly as they have to be overwhelmed to send others there..Version: 1.2.4

✓ FIX IT!I got this game as i LOVE these idle type games so I even spent the £9.99 to not have to watch ads every 10 seconds! Totally regret that purchase now!! Since I’ve been able to expand to the major crimes dept, all the interns take the files there instead, the dept is so expensive to upgrade so I’ve got 3 “major crime” detectives running around whilst my “normal” detectives are doing nothing! There are so many bugs in this game! People walk through walls, only seems to be 1 cell in use so prisoners are just queuing up in the corridor, the swat team don’t even use the vehicles you’ve wasted money on, you can’t even capture the 4th top criminal as for whatever reason, the scammers being arrested are not registering! ✓ Great game but can’t progress?I get to the part where I unlock the second police station and go through the tutorial with the captain and I’m shown to click up the top of the screen when looking at the list of stations and the game doesn’t register any touches. ✓ It’s smallOnly takes a week or so to get all the levels complete, your purchases are only good for main game - so when the “emergency” sub game level shows up, all your special purchases aren’t used for it. Their tech support sucks and the game is full of glitches. Not worth it in the long run as there’s not enough levels to keep going. Don’t waste your money on it. If you don’t purchase the option to remove ads, there’s one every 45-55 seconds that take 45 seconds to watch. It’s too bad, it has such potential to be a neat games..Version: 1.2.4

✓ Great Game, Great Battery DrainI enjoy playing this game and have had a good few conversations with the developers via email about a few glitches I’ve discovered. I chickened out from getting in touch again when I noticed that the app is using battery even when I’m not on my phone. ✓ It’s alrightThe game is fun and addicting but the videos you watch to get 2x the money and what not are almost always lagging a bit and sometimes after watching a full video I’m not even rewarded with the 2x the money. And then when I got a new phone with the same account and hit restore previous purchases nothing is restored, so I basically spent money on nothing. ✓ Screen goes blackLove the game!!! I was addicted from the beginning. However, after about an hour of playing the sound starting getting a little staticky. After the static started, I noticed when the ads would play the video would freeze up but would still award me at the end. Now on day 2 of playing, I’m not able to watch ads at all. The ads play a few seconds then the screen goes black. I can hear it go back into the game but I can’t access it unless I log off and log back in. ✓ Taps out mid gameTo level up you need to catch all the most wanted and buy all the available lockers and equipment for your station. You’ll need to buy the no ads expansion pack because it’s over a billion dollars to level out of la ruidosa. Otherwise you’ll just waste a lot of time watching ads and never be able to level forward in the game because everything costs too much. You can earn extra money buy building interrogation rooms but it’s not the millions and billions you really need. Palm shores will be another several billion on lockers for your tactical unit after you’ve already caught all your most wanted. Haiking will sort of just stall out on the automatic arrests and keep you from leveling up and getting your most wanted even after you’ve completely outfitted your station. There’s regular events where card packs are half off diamonds and your most wanted (in a place called twilight city) are worth more diamonds per performed task. Not sure if it’s a glitch in haiking that’s keeping game progress in permanent limbo or not..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Good but could be betterI would give this game 5 stars however there are a fee areas that still need work. For example people still walk through walls in places. criminals walk behind the arresting officers on the way to the cells, they are also led through officers quarters, where they prep for assignments. I know this is only a game but I’d spend more money on this if more effort was made to improve realism. Also I’ve wasted tons of gems just scrolling through the station management menu. I’d scroll through and before I know it I’ve rushed the building of a department by spending gems. There should be a confirmation message. ✓ Reasonably enjoyable but don’t waste too much time on it.Development is far too slow to make this a game you will want to play for long. The relatively recent inclusion of the weekly events is nice, but this is a plaster on a gaping wound. The app’s business development model is very much the cliché of the modern cash cow - Create a reasonably engaging freemium game, spam it with ads and charge money to remove these, include bolt ons and a levelling up collection function, and use a proprietary gem-based currency to push further spend. The implementation of this for Idle Police Tycoon is scale over quality, i.e. bring in as many customers as possible to make one-off spends, rather than cultivate a long-term customer base. This is why resources are not being allocated to developing the game quickly, and why it has a little bit of a overly simplistic unfinished feel. I think it’s worth having a go, but do so with your eyes open, as quality and user experience are certainly not the priorities of this game, no matter what platitudes the developers offer. I mean, this game has potential as much as every other cloned game by this developer, but the list of problems is sooooo long! We’re not talking just graphical issues either, of which there are many! ✓ Could grow to be a really good gameLove the concept. It’s nice another one of these games is released the system is different and not just a skin of other idle games. There are just far too many bugs. Cases are not sent to the right departments. One staircase leading to all the cells creates pileups. The police cars sometimes get stuck before leaving, and don’t reset until app is closed. The SWAT vehicles are never used at all. The worst is the most wanted criminals - the goals do not work properly, leaving those max security cells mostly empty. In a couple of months, this would be a pretty good game.
