There are unheard-of tricks that VERY FEW Sudoku Players know about, which not only work precisely well, but which also enrich the human mind (THINKING). I have been using Sudoku for that purpose, to discover more of these tricks. The tricks I refer to emerge from a deep understanding of orthogonal arrays, which many game designers are little aware of. I chiefly use Sudoku as a “research laboratory”. It is the best Sudoku game on the Internet….for all of the above reasons. One discovery is about the word “mistakes” — which is tracked by this company’s software. But what is a “mistake”? There are at least two kinds: one involves hitting a number to fill a blank square too quickly and carelessly. But the other so-called “mistake” is a “calculated risk”, which for me is often correct! My fairly brief career with “orthogonal arrays” has taught me many lessons, which I may or may not reveal later. This is the best Sudoku game available — if you really want to learn it well. I am looking for a version of sudoku that lets me make mistakes with out telling me I’ve made a mistake until there is a visual issue, like two 9’s in the same cell etc. This game allows that BUT if you put the wrong number in the cell the notes won’t auto clear for incorrect numbers, defeating the point. Also wish it had the fast pencil option, and would highlight the ENTIRE cell when I select a number so I can more easily see patters across the entire board. Still it has potential..Version: 1.8.2

✓ Hint doesn’t workPretty good game. Notes are automatically removed which I appreciate. Expert is not very challenging. Couldn’t figure out how to use hint. Instructions say just tap the light bulb but I tried it with the square where I wanted the hint, it didn’t work. Tried it with a filled in square selected, thinking I would get a random hint, it didn’t work. They fixed the hint so I’m upgrading my review from 4 to 5 stars..Version: 1.6.4
