✓ Good, with a few small annoyancesFor the most part, the app is well designed and easy to use. It’s great to have the puzzles available without buying the paper everyday! There are a few minor annoyances: - On the crosswords, it would be preferable to use the device keyboard rather than the in-app one. - Crosswords (at least the quick cryptic) are not marked as complete when finished, they are left as “In progress”. - In numeric puzzles, it’s clunky to switch between notes and main input, requiring you to open a menu. ✓ Good but has minor issues.I use this on both my iPad Pro (2021) and iPhone 12 Max. It’s a great app which allows me to tackle the cryptic crosswords. The reason I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 is that on both iPad and iPhone versions, when I complete a crossword, my completion time displays as “NaN:NaN”. When I look at the list of crosswords, those I have completed still state ‘in progress’. Other than that it is a great app..SighMikeVersion: 1.5.0

✓ SudukoI use v1.5. I use this everyday. There seems to be a fault that didn’t use to be there and no is, but I don’t know when it started. It works fine in my iPhone, but not not on my iPad. If you go into a suduko puzzle and either start or finish it, then go back to the main page to do A different one. It will show the earlier puzzle access as either in progress or completed (correct) but if you re open the sudoku puzzle, it will reset the result ie delete your entries. However going back to list page it will still correctly show in progress or completed. I have restarted my iPad, reinstalled puzzle app, logged out and back in again. ✓ Latest Update - ahThe most recent update now comes with an annoying feature. The puzzles do not save part complete so if left for a while they need to be restarted. Can this be readdressed as was working beautifully before last update. Thanks.JG1694Version: 1.5.0

✓ At last a Times Puzzle appThis app is much better than using a Safari link to The Times on the web. Also much better than using the puzzles within the Digital Times app. With this app you have historical puzzels as well as todays, plus you have Killer Suduko, which is missing from the The Times Digital app. One less star than max as I had to phone up The Times to find if my Digital 7 day Times subscription also covered the subscription for this Times Puzzle app. Nowhere anywhere does it tell you. Not in the app, not in the app stores description of the app, not on the times website. The good news I was told the Puzzle app is covered by my Times Digital subscription. So no extra cost. ✓ Sudoku rocksMy wife and I now use this app for a Sudoku challenge where we see who can complete it quicker using the timer. Other puzzles are addictive too and also works fully offline on my occasional commute. Well worth giving this app a go and is real value for money..Oleg546Version: 1.2.0

✓ Great crossword appOne of the best crossword apps I’ve used. I don’t use it for the other puzzles, but it’s a great way to feed my Times cryptic addiction. Improvements would include: - automatically syncing the completed clues across devices logged into the same account - a dark mode - a scratch pad for working on anagrams - clearer icon highlighting to show whether you’re in pen or pencil mode.BeaucitronVersion: 1.5.0
